Oracle Jinitiator 1.3.1.22 error installation in window7

Question

Hi all,
  I have in my small organization
  server system: Microsoft windows server 2003 Service Pack1(32bit) Oracle Application Server  Enterprise Edition(10.1.2.0.2)  32 bit
in client system we access the application IE :6 OS:windowns xp (32 bit) through Oracle Jinitiator 1.3.1.22  working fine
now the system updated to the IE:8 windows 7(32 bit) iam install oracle Jinitiator 1.3.1.22
iam unable to install the software completely get problem like below:
Oracle Jinitiator  install is complete.If your are using netscape as your web browser you will need to close and restart netscape before
using jinitiator.
i have install  1.3.1.26 setup also iam getting same problem.
can any help me which   Jinitiator is need how to access the application in IE 8 window7

try to download jvm.dll file which contains 2.20 mb size and replace it in the above said location.
It may solve your problem.
Sure, applying a hack by changing one 10 year old .dll with an actual one (nevermind the 10 years of functionality that dll provides that might have changed) and do this on $infinite_number_of_hosts instead using an actual supported version of the JPI sounds like a good idea...
