Oracle out of resource error In Timesten

Hi all ,
I am  getting below error in Timesten logs.
Err :    : 21076: 23349/0x13c701c0: bdb-P23349-T1177282880-bdbTblH04766: Datastore: ORCL ttBDbStmtForce() exiting after
failure line: 4259 err: TT5211: Oracle out of resource error in INSERT INTO "CRESTELRNCPRD611"."TBLTCUSTOMERRESERVATION" ("CUSTRESER
kindly guide me why  this error occurred ?

This error message should also have an ORA- style error message contained in it, which should provide a clearer picture of what resource you are running out of on the Oracle database. Is this the entire error message which was reported in the TimesTen tterrors.log or ttmesg.log file?

    Dear all,
I am not sure this is the correct forum to post. I suspect that I have problem with Oracle Client 11.1g for HP-UX 64 bit v11.31. I configured Cache Connect of TimesTen v7.0.5 to use with Oracle DB 11.1g.
I have the error that is related to Oracle Client library as following:

I suspect that the error is due to the built of Oracle Client 11.1g. Any help to solve this error is highly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Ravi,
the error is due to the componet JAVA(TM) 7 which is not supported.
Better to run JAVA 6, I'm running the update 33, you can download it from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre6-downloads-1637595.html
    Remeber to remove JAVA &
Go to control panel --> add remove programs and remove JAVA (TM) 7.
    It will solve the problem.

  • Oracle ORA-01428: argument is out of range error

Oracle ORA-01428: argument is out of range error

I take it you don't feel like spending the extra money for the EE add-on that was designed to CREATE an INDEX on polygons of logitude, latitude values in such away that a simple
    SELECT * FROM ZIP_CODES WHERE SDO_WITHIN_DISTANCE( Z.ZIPCODE_AREA, /* point for zipcode */, 'distance=' || in_distance ) = 'TRUE';
will be very efficient and fast.
    primary thing:
    you need to drop out the WHEN OTHERS THEN NULL;
also, take advantage of the NO_ROWS_FOUND exception for finding out if a row exists in the database. (instead of doing an IF statement on the results of COUNT(*))
    back to your problem
You'll need to investigate which row is causing the problem.
Most likely, it is the zipcode that was the input for the search.  I've seen this occur many times on similar trigonometric calculations.
You may have to surround a lot of those trigonometric functions with ROUND( ____, 25) to get it to work.
However, I highly advise you to take a look at what can be done with Oracle Spacial

  • Oracle Service Bus For loop getting out of memory error

I have a business service that is based on a JCA adapter to fetch an undertimed amout of records from a database.  I then need to upload those to another system using a webservice designed by an external source.  This web service will only accept upto to x amount of records.
    The process:
for each object in the Jca Response
Insert object into Service callout Request body
if object index = number of objects in jca response or object index = next batch index
               Invoke service callout
Append service callout Response to a total response object (xquery transform)
increase next batch index by Batch size
reset service callout to empty body
           endif
    end for
replace body  with total response object.
If I use the data set that only has 5 records  and use a batch size of 2 the process works fine.
If I use  a data set with 89 records  and a batch size of 2 I get the below out of memory error  after about 10 service callouts

It appears to be the service callout that is the problem (it calls another OSB service that logins and performs the data upload to the External service)  because If I change the batch size up to 100  the loop will load all the 89 records into the callout request and execute it fine.  If I have a small batch size then I run out of memory.
Is there some settings I need to change?  Is there a better way in OSB (less memory intensive than service callout in a for loop)?
    Thanks.

  • Out of memory Error in OBIEE11.1.1.6.7 RPD

    Hi All,
While merging two RPD's in 11.1.1.6.7 using two way and three merging we are getting 'Out of memory' error.
Please guide me how to resolve this type of issues.
    THanks,
    Siva.

Did you try patch merge .? I feel this is more trustworthy than full merge. :)
Usually when you try to merge two different huge rpds like the OOTB one's with many changes in both and your less available system resources its often gives you that out of memory error.
I suggest you bring down all services while performing this merge and its always better to equalize the objects first and then do a merge either three or two way.! instead of equalizing during the merge.
More about equalization could be found here : http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E14571_01/bi.1111/e10540/mngreposfiles.htm#autoId2
    Hope this helps!

    Hi
In this case, the java.lang.OutOfMemoryError is caused by excessive threads being created. There are various reasons why the number of threads is excessive.
The more memory you give to the JVM the more likely you are to get java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native thread
To create more threads you have to reduce the memory allocated to the JVM.
    http://www.egilh.com/blog/archive/2006/06/09/2811.aspx
    http://jroller.com/page/rreyelts/20040909
Use the lsof -p PID command (Unix® platforms) to see how many threads are active for this process.
Determine if there is a maximum number of threads per process defined by the operating system. If the limit is too low for the application, try raising the per-process thread limit.
Examine the application code to determine if there is code that is creating threads or connections (such as LDAP connections) and not destroying them. You could dump the Java™ threads to see if there are an excessive number has been created.
If you find that too many connections are opened by the application, make sure that any thread that the application creates is destroyed. An enterprise application (.ear) or Web application (.war) runs under a long-running JVM™. Just because the application is finished does not mean that the JVM process ends. It is imperative that an application free any resources that it allocates.

It would be necessary that you have to use "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool". (see Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 )
The order varies depending on your individual needs:
    1. Maybe you have to activate/deactivate, so please have a look there:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-deactivation-products.html
    2. Sometimes, we know in the meantime, the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
    3. Did you already try "uninstalling and re-installing"? Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. As much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)
I quote: Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool helps resolve installation problems for Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite (CS3-CS6) applications. The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. It does not affect existing installations of previous versions of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.
Please use: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html   and follow the prescribed sequence of operations
    4. If necessary and for further questions click through http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html or http://helpx.adobe.com/de/contact.html and if "open" please use chat, I had the best experiences.  The chat button is activated as soon as there is an agent available to help.

    Hi,
I did try that initially. After executing the command I get this message.
    C:\>java -Xms128M -Xmx256M
    Usage: java [-options] class [args...]
    (to execute a class)
or java -jar [-options] jarfile [args...]
    (to execute a jar file)
    where options include:
-cp -classpath <directories and zip/jar files separated by ;>
set search path for application classes and resources
    -D<name>=<value>
    set a system property
    -verbose[:class|gc|jni]
    enable verbose output
-version print product version and exit
-showversion print product version and continue
-? -help print this help message
-X print help on non-standard options
    Thanks for your help.
