Oraclevm-template.sh not running successfully in Tools VM

Hi all,
I´m trying to run Peoplesfot FSCM 9.1 Vm Template in VBox.
Database Server seems to be well configured and running (I can connect from another windows VBox) but I´m having problems with webserver and appserver.
I´m new to this so would need some advice.

Azure SDK used - 1.7 & 2.0
When we create new project for Windows Azure Cloud Service with MVC4WebRole template & try to run it locally its giving error as "Not running in a hosted service or the Development Fabric."
We are aware that making Azure project as start up project will resolve this error but we want to run the application locally before testing it with cloud.
It’s not working with Cassini so we have tried with IIS but still it’s giving the same error.
In another project when we added ASP.Net MVC4 Application & then for that project we have generated the Azure cloud service project using "Add Windows Azure Cloud Service Project". By this way debugging it locally works fine.
Is there something additional settings present in Windows Azure Cloud Service with MVC4WebRole template which is causing this issue?

But this project was a empty project. It didn't included azure DLL file, such as Diagnostics file. So I think you could comment out the "system.diagnostics" node and try again. IN case it matters, which version?
I agree with Hemant K Chitale on both of his points. The disk group has already been created, and one probably shouldn't name it "ASM". Give it a more meaningful name.

Did you look in the log files? Anything of interest in there?

Command not running successfully

I am installing Weblogic and got to the point where I needed to deconfigure my database on a Windows server 2008. I have to run the following command to deconfigure the database - /bin/emca -deconfig dbcontrol db -repos drop
but anytime I run that command, I get "The system cannot find the path specified" error. I know the path exists. I actually cd into the oracle home location and can see /BIN/ and emca in there but I constantly get the same error. Help is needed.

these do not work either may be I'm doing something wrong. I open the command line and type 'id' and get "id is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable pro9gram or batch file.
I also type 'id env | sort" and get a similar error message as above

NWDI CTC ran successfully, any other templates needed to run?

I ran the CTC template and it completed successfully. The domain is setup for CMS. However the CMS inbox directory is not setup in the file system. Are there any other steps required to setup the inbox? Do I need to run any additional templates?

I've upgrade from v1.2 to v1.3 (in a test-lab so far). I also found this problem of VMWare reporting the VM tools are not running, despite my changing the host type to RedHat6/x64.
Did you manage to figure out how to get ROOT access to be able to run the fix they mention?

The Adobe mini Flash test program on your site says it not enabled or Active X is enabled - not true - all is set as it should be. I have gone through your forums but to no avail. I've looked in MS forums but nothing that made any difference. What's going on and what can I do about it?

Try using Firefox. Flash usually works on Firefox when it won't on Safari. I noticed that the Safari does not show the same version as Firefox does. Iwonder if that could be the problem. Safari on the left shows 10.1, Firefox show 10.3

Problems with Config Tool; ADS not running

I'm trying to create an Interactive Form, but I get the following error

I assume that Adobe Document Services is not running. I typed http://localhost:50000/AdobeDocumentServices/config in my browser. The result was an Error 404, too.
In a documentation sheet about administration of ADS, I found that service IIOP in the config tool should be set to startup mode "always".
When I tried to apply the changes in the config tool, it terminated with a critical error. Logfile says the following:

What can I do about the two problems?

Just for the sake of learning how to use the tool i start with drawing a rectangle then click and drag the gradient tool across the box. i see the gradient line appear but when i release the mouse the gradient line disappears
i end up witha box with a gradient but all my editing has to be done in the gradient box as shown in this screen shot:

Used a template to create form. when I run it from a page, the template is not shown

I have created a form based on a template. When I run it from the applications page I can see the template. I then added it as an application component item with a folder in a content area. I have then published this folder as a portlet in a page. When I the form from the portlet within that page, it opens up in a new window but there is no template.
How do I get the template to show when I run it from the portlet ?

It is true that the template is not shown when the form is run as a portlet. But, with a small amount of coding in the additional pl/sql section, you can display the template.
Steps :-
1> Edit the form and go to the additional pl/sql section.

Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.

Photo Creation- successful install, will not run. Help

Template Builder not found followed by Run-time error '429'

Hello,
I am having problems with BI Publisher.
I am running the application on a Windows 2003 server via a Citrix connection using Word 2007 (SP2) (multilingual French/English). On this forum, I have seen numerous threads about this type of error but none seems to be working for us.
Symptoms:
I installed BI Publisher with admin rights (account A) and it works fine using this account
I copy the TBCrosstab.dot, TemplateBuilder.dot, WordAnalyzer.dot in another User Profile "%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP" (Account B)
All macros are enabled in account B
The Add-ins menu shows but when I click on Connection I get the Template Builder not found error followed by Run-time error '429'
I uninstall BI Publisher from Account A and install it using account B
It now works fine with account B but I get the error messages in account A...
Does BI Publisher work using multiple accounts on a single machine?

SSIS Job deployment does not run my .exe but is described as a success

Hi i have scripted a simple script task in c# to run an exe with the following code
Process.start(filename.exe);
i have also tried using the 'Execute Process task' in the SSIS toolbox.
both methods work when i debug.
However when deployed to the SQL server as a job, the jobs are described as a success but my program does not run?!
The exe file is published from SQL visual studio and the resultant filename is setup.exe which i am trying to run.
Any help pleasE?
I am not using any shared file resources, the setup.exe is on my desktop.

Task scheduler is showing success but not running job

Hello, I have a relatively simple .net application that I realized when ran through the Task Scheduler of a Windows 2008 R2 server it shows in the status that i completed successfully but apparently did not run at all from looking at the log file.
When I just manually execute this program it runs perfectly fine. I am using myself as the user to run this task and have full permissions.
I also tried a test batch file that just echos some text into a text file. Same issue.... shows that it runs ok in task scheduler but doesnt do anything while running it manually works fine.
Any ideas of what could be causing this? thanks

I ran the test batch file as below and work without issue:
@echo This is a test> d:\test.txt
And this is my setting:
