Order in Process 2 days later?

I ordered a new phone off your online store on the 16th. I chose free shipping instead of store pickup because of the estimated arrival time. Seeing as how it's the 18th, and still in processing, the shipping time will probably push to next week. If I had known it would possibly take days to process an order, and a week for the shipment, I would have simply come to the store myself.
I would like to know if there is a way to amend the shipping or remove it entirely for an in-store pickup.

Good news! I was able to locate your order using the e-mail address you used to register for the forum and your phone appears to have been shipped earlier today. If you haven't already done so, I'd encourage you to check both your inbox and junk mail folders for a confirmation message with tracking details. Please also keep in mind that it can sometimes take 24-48 hours for UPS' site to reflect the latest updates -- you may not be able to view the package's progress until early tomorrow.
For future reference, most orders placed on BestBuy.com can be fulfilled in one business day. Some product categories may require additional processing time though, such as mobile phones and other devices that require service activation.   • Single process order spanning over multiple days...

    Hi All -
    My scenario is as follows:
    I have a semi FG C going into multiple FGs A and B.
    Receipts for A and B create dependent requirements for C on different days of a week. It would always be 2 continous days, Monday-tues or Tue-Wed and so on.
    My lot size period type is "Days - 1." So when I run PPDS heuristic, the system creates 2 planned orders to cover the 2 different dependent requirements since my period bucket is days - 1.
    We would want only 1 planned order for semi FG C which spans over 2 days of the week. To achieve this, what I did is change the lot size period type to Week-1 ( with period factor 1) which would create a single process order on the last day of the week and have the scheduler move the order and align it with the receipt of the FIRST planned order( for A or B).
    Is there anyway we can let the system do this for us? Again the requirements can be on Day 1-2,2-3,3-4,4-5 etc...but what we would like is based on when the multiple requirements are, the system create the planned order for C on the day of the requirement of the first receipt( be it A or B).
    IF Dep Reqs are on day 2-3, the planned order for C is needed on day 2. If the dep reqs are on 4-5, the planned order for C should be on day 4.
    Any inputs will be appreciated.
    Also, is there any function in the DS planning board to "Merge" 2 orders?

    Changing to weekly lot size is the best option.  It seems your problem is that the process order should get over (end date) before the first requirement.  In such a case, you should also maintain a rounding value/fixed lot size in material C.  Then process order will be created before the order of A or B (The first of the two) starts.  In product view it will show a surplus on the first day and it will get consumed on the next day when B is produced.
    Another way is to avoid using period factor so that heuristic creates planned order before the requirement.

    If you did not receive the "merchandise" then a refund is due. Just click through the support link provided above, fill out the form at the end, clearly state the facts and state them again via reply email.
    Also prepare to send copies of the billings and provide the user name associated with Zombie Farm and Game Center (if applicable).
    All should work out, but if satisfaction is not received, file a claim with your credit card issuer.

  • Third-Party Order Fulfillment Process Scenario

    Hello,
    I would like to know if any of you have come across a use case where the Third-Party Order Fulfillment is  Not  based on the Supplier/Manufacturer shipping out the material directly But the Buyer (and in some cases even end User/customer) arranges this themselves. This is very common in International Trade where the Buyer/Business arranges the shipment themselves by using the services of a Freight Forwarder who Ships the material to the end user/customer after the Supplier/Manufacturer has made the Material available. In such cases the actual Shipment could take days or weeks from when Material is made ready by the Suppliers.
    Currently the Third-Party Order Fulfillment Process assumes only one scenario and that is the Supplier will ship the material and inform their Buyer of Delivery. But in International Trade this is not the case and the Incoterms in the Purchase Order can be different to the Incoterms in the Sales order example in the PO the incoterms could be Ex-Works and in the SO CIF.
    This leads to requirement of ASN and separate Inbound and Outbound Delivery and their separate Release in this Process as well.
    These are not currently supported in the Third-Party Order Fulfillment process thus the Third-Party Order Fulfillment process in ByD has a very limited use in its current form.
    If there are other users who have come across this as well then it would be nice to have your comments and possible workaround.

    There is no standard SAP solution for this requirement.
    You can trigger output from inbound delivery document to generate EDI output and send delivery information to customer.
    You will require to define custom output type , partner profile and link with custom fucntion module.
    FM should have logic to pick information from 3rd party sales order and inbound ASN and generate IDOC
    Hope this solution will work for your requirement

    I've got the same problem too. Bought a Macbook Air at around 11am this morning, and 12 hours later, it is still at the order received stage.
    Checked my bank account, and saw that the money has already been deducted since this morning (ok, it was put on hold since i was using a debit card, but still....)! Wondering how they can deduct money but not update it to at least "payment validated"........

  • Lync User Phone Number Changed in AD - Still Showing Old (Normalized) Number Days Later in Lync Client Contact Detail

    Environment:  Lync 2013 backend; Lync 2010 and Lync 2013 clients.  Enterprise Voice not implemented.  November 2013 CU Applied on Server.
    Issue:  Lync user (User A) phone number changed in AD but still showing old number for others days later.
    Believed Cause:  User A has not logged into Lync since change to republish new phone number?
    So after reading this http://masteringlync.com/ I am beginning to think that something I perceived as an issue may actually be by design?
    Action:
    User A work phone number changed in AD.  User A has only one phone entry in AD.  Normalization rule in place to basically leave number unchanged (working)
    Result: 
    New phone number propogated fine to Exchange/Outlook fine.  Old number displaying only in Lync client when viewing User A contact card detail
    Lync 2010 Client displays only old number when looking at Client A contact detail (this client only presents phone numbers if they are actually normalized)
    Lync 2013 Client displays two work numbers. 
             One that we identify as a "display number" just as entered in AD - this shows correctly as the new number.  Another that we identify as the "normalized number" which is still the old
    number (same as 2010 Client)
    Same results whether contact is saved in Lync Client or not and is not related to Outlook contacts - in fact one test was with a Lync account that is not Mail Enabled.
    I did a dbanalyze to view the SQL database detail for User A and see that Category 'userInformation' has the old phone number and the time stamp on it seems to coincide with a Lync Cllient database change (user login or refresh on that end) so this seems
    to futher confirm my findings thus my reaching the point of conceding it might be out of my control.
    My Question I guess is ....
    Have others discovered this?  Is this a bug or do normalized phone numbers actually requre a client login to accept/republish the number correctly to others even though the information is updated in AD?  User detail and how it propogates seems to
    be the biggest mystery and it gets harder and harder to explain to users why changes aren't displaying accuralely.

    Thanks Richard... your blog definitely hit home with what I was seeing but guess I just didn't want to accept that as the end of the road on this.  I'm still in a little misbelief that client interaction is necessary to update a backend change.
    This process really makes phone numbers in Lync an unreliable source given a user will never know if it is it up to date.  And the problem with Lync 2013 client is it shows both numbers in the client ... the address book one with the
    updated AD numbers and the one the normalized AD one that the user has to login to republish.  I now more fully understand the process but trying to explain that to users when they see different work numbers .. ugh. 
    Oh well, guess the important part is to understand the process so thanks again.

    I ordered a 16GB Space Gray AT&T iPhone 6 with the 4.7inch screen on Nov. 1st. It is still 'Processing'. Is it normal to process the order for this long? According to the 7-10 business days shipping estimate, it's too early to totally freak out but when i check the to see if it's still processing the DELIVERY estimate is listed as Nov.13-18th.
    Is everything normal or should this have processed by now? I've never waited this long on an order to process with Apple.

    Do you use MobileMe and an iPhone? If yes, do this in the following order:
    Mac:
    (1) back up the applications giving you problems
    iPhone
    (1) Open settings, then open "mail, contacts, calendars"
    (2) Open .Mac account
    (3) Turn OFF the applications that are causing problems
    (4) When you turn off on of the applicatios, a red sign "stop syncing" will appear. Press it. A msg will appear "turning off xxx"
    (5) Get out of settings
    (6) Don't do anything for about 20 mins. Don't touch your iPhone or your Mac. (syncing needs time to settle down)
    After 20 minutes...
    Mac:
    (1) Open each application that is giving you problems. Fix errors. Back up.
    (2) Do this for each application
    iPhone
    (1) Open settings, then open "mail, contacts, calendars"
    (2) Open .Mac account
    (3) Slide switch to ON for each app you turned off; there won't be a msg
    (4) Get out of settings
    (5) Via MobileMe, syncing will start again.
    Wait about 20 minutes, again. You should see all in order after that. At least, that was my experience.

    Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

    I am facing a problem while trying to execute a multi-stage mapping. As an example consider a mapping in which the data from a joiner operator is inserted into a table A. This data is then passed to a procedure P which applies some business logic and then inserts into table B which is further processed and output is written to a flat file via a set operator. I am finding that the insertion into table B is happening after generation of the flat file. Insertion into table A is happening at the correct point in time.
    Is it possible to manually set the order of processing of such a multi stage mapping to get OWB to process the mapping in the correct sequence.
    Pls. suggest a workaround in case the above is not possible.

    Not sure what OWB version you are talking about here, but in the newer versions (9.0.4 or 9.2) the best workaround would be to divide your mapping into 3 different mappings and execute them sequentially from a process flow.
