Org assignment error
Hi,
I am trying to create a record in infotype 15, and i am facing the follwing error
" No org. assignment data available for 01.11.2005 "
In the Diagnosis it says
" An Org.Assignment record (0001) does not exist for 01.11.2005. "
Can anyone please help me overcome this problem.
Pl verify if an infotype 0001 record exists for this employee as on 01.11.2005. If there isn't one, create one before going ahead with 0015.

i am trying to assign my purchasing org T100, T200 to my company code TA00. we can assign several P.Org to one CC. However, one P.org can only belong to one CC is this true can someone explain me why?

yes, You can assign a purchasing organization to one company code. This is company-specific purchasing. but this can procure only for that company code.
but you can leave P Org Independent . You can assign a purchasing organization to no company code. This purchasing organization can then procure for all plants assigned to it, irrespective of the company code to which the plant belongs.
The role to Purchase organisation in MM
Purchasing organization is defined based upon the reporting requirement. Many of the vendors may be a part of any one purchasing organization. Moreover the many of the standard reports are available on purchase organization than on account group.
Defining Purchase organization purely depends upon reporting requirements.
Secondly, the organization structure also effects the defining the purchase organization. as Purchase organization is the floating entity, may or may not be linked to company code, but plants must be assigned to purchase organization.
Thirdly, pricing procedure uses purchase organization as one of the parameters but, it is not why we define the purchase organization. We can have multiple pricing procedure still having one purchase organization. its complex, but can do it.
Finally, Purchase organization is the entity, that is used to define all the Contracts & inforecords in the system. Its a logical entity, not a physical one.

Org unit error !!!

I have a few questions and an org unit error when trying to process a quotation. Details below. If anyone can help, then that would be great.
"ORG UNIT (SALES) DOES NOT HAVE THESE ATTRIBUTES"
Org unit (sales) does not have these attributes
Message no. CRM_ORGMAN022
I have an org unit set up as follows
Root Org - Sales
Sales Org - Sales - Sale Organization
Sales Office - Sales - Sales Office
Sales Group - Sales - Sales Group
Org attributes for Division & Distribution Channel is a cobination called Tupel
In the organization tab it is shown as follows
Organization Unit - PLSG
Sales Organization - PLS
Distribution Channel - Z3
Sales Office - PLSO
Sales Group - PLSG
No Division ?
Why does org unit and Sales group have the same Code ?
I have pasted the diagnosis of the error but cannot determine from that where I have gone wrong.

You have entered or changed an organizational unit in the "Organizational Unit (Sales)" field.
The attributes assigned to the entered organizational unit (sales) in the organizational model do not correspond with the data (sales organization, distribution channel, sales office, sales group, on the item level: division) in this document. Organizational data are inconsistent.
System Response
The system cannot continue to process the document. It cannot execute subsequent processes dependent on organizational data (for example, partner processing, pricing).
Procedure
You have the following options for solving this:
Enter an organizational unit with the appropriate attributes. Use the input help. You can check the attributes of organizational units in Organizational Model
Check the organizational model in CRM Customizing under Organizational Management -> Organizational Structure -> Change Organizational Structure. Change the attributes of the required organizational unit as required.

Check the following for Sales Scenario
1. For Sales Scenario activate buffering
2. Select Attributes/Scenarios node and check for Attribute IS_SA_ORG is having inherit. Type as '0' and deactivate invisible
3. Remaining org.stru. attributes like IS_SA_GRP
N No inheritance
3 IS_SA_OFF
N No inheritance
2 IS_SA_ORG
N No inheritance
1 All should be activated for invisible(tick)
Run CRM_COM_ORGMAN_BUPA_INTEGRATE to update org.model.
To improve system performance, you can use the HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE(need to run after MW replication to clear the buffer) program for buffering organizational model and attributes. Call up view T77OMATTR via SM30 and select the buffering field for each scenario to buffer corresponding objects. Execute the HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE program every morning (after 0:00 hrs) before starting your systems

HR/ORG Assignment Integration issue

Basically I am not HR consultant .wondering if we are missing sap standard configurations.

Thanks for your update, I think it is quite difficulty to check the config in the transport i am sorry for this .
I got full history of this issue.
- It was the issue with integration between HR and Org assignment.
1)
There was a requirement to make cost canter field a input field on HR master as this could be used by PD resources in reporting. This was achieved by switching off the integration between Organisational Management/HR via Transport config.
2)
By doing above could maintain the cost canter field with relevant cost centers for watch HR record in PA30.
3)
Users reported few errors (Error screen you can see attached Screen 1) that there was some issue how the integration between HR and Org assignment is behaving. This was sorted out and the integration between HR and Organisanol Management was activated by transport .by activating this (step 2 PA30) again Cost Canter field Greyed please find Screen 2)
4) Because of the above issue we are deactivating the config with one transport and then again activating one transport.

Org Assignment of global employees in Compensation Management
I have a problem with Compensation Management but it also relates the Org Assignment of global employees
In Comp when I try to submit an employee using transaction HRCMP001, I have an error saying no org assignment exist on 01. 01 .2008.
The business scenario is as follows. EE is hired on 01012008 in UK for e.g. he gets terminated on 31.05.2008 and then gets re-hired in another country using the Global Employee Personnel actions on 01.06.2008. In this county, he becomes eligible to receive the increase but when I try to submit, the error comes up that no org assignment exist for 01.01.2008. I have changed the settings in T582A to u2018copy infotypeu2019, it tries to reference the previous org assign infotype from 01.01.2008(which is correct but the system rejects it and will only accept the new date of the new hire 01.06.2008) thereby not referencing the old org assignment in the new personnel number.? I tried the propose infotype option but it did not do anything. Does any one have any suggestions? How to undo Org Assignment?
HI,
We would like to change the start date of ORG assignment in PA30, but when i tried to delete the assignment for a pertivcular period in PA30>goto>Overview> selected the entry.
but wsystem is showing an error," Organisational Assignment created via Organisational Management"
Please let me know where i can go delete the selected entry.

a service line can be never saved WITHOUT the account assignment details (except acc. ***. category U in in the PO item).
In case the table ESLL will have entry but the accounting tables eskl has got no entry or has entries with deletion flag, it would be an inconsistent situation.
You can set on the screen SAPLMLSK 0200 the deletion flag (ESKL-LOEKZ) for your service account assignment, but without entering a new account assignment information the system would not allow you to leave this screen. When you set the deletion flag for service line in the account assignment detail screen, you must enter right afterwards a new account assignment information in order to leave the screen without the error message 06 408.

OK; have been trying to setup a test VM based RDS deployment for a few days now with no luck.
this error mentioned above:
"Server <server name> either does not have a virtual switch configured or none of the configured virtual switches have an IP address assigned" error is driving me nuts!
I have removed and re-added the RD Virtualization Host role numerous times, each time having the "create a virtual switch" checkbox selected, but it did NOT create any virtual switch.
I created the external virtual switch manually and tried to create the desktop collection again, no luck with the same error.
a few questions:
1. you don't assign IP to a switch! you assign IP to Network Interfaces. why does the error puts it like this?! it is technically wrong.(yeah yeah I know all about how you'd assign IP to managed switches in real world to telnet into them and manage them.
you know better than me that it is not the case here!)
2.the RDS Virtualization hosts are using their wifi card as the card for the virtual switch. could that be the reason? I even disabled their unplugged wired NIC just to make sure that the wifi is the only available option for the RDS wizard to use for the
virtual switch creation; but it didn't use it and it didn't create any virtual switch automatically.
3.if WIFI nic is indeed the reason, is it your suspension or an official documents is there somewhere stating so (that the WIFI NICS on a Virtualization hosts are not supported as the hub for a virtual switch).
4.what are the properties of the virtual switch the RDS requires? does it have to be external? why can't it work even with my manually created external switch?
5.how would I fix it?
P.S: the environment is made up of 2 laptops, having windows 2012 R2 trial installed on them, using their wifi to connect to the out world. no cable is plugged into their wired NIC card.Hi,
Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
The simplest short term solution was to connect each computer to a small switch that had no other connectivity. This brought up the link light on the external NIC and allowed the creation of the collection to complete. You need to use an external switch. You
can create one external switch which might fix the problem.

I have just configured FINT and completed a posting with no short dump.I would suggest there is some other configuration that is doing this as the work area is not filled, you need an ABAP trace and an ABAPer to find the select statement that returned data,another words SY-SUBRC=4.And from this,mosy possibly a Ttable and then use SM30 to find the configuration.

Hi, When i create a new employee in PA40, in Org. Assignment infotype start date and end date is getting wrong. for eg. When i create an employee on 01.04.2014. In org. assignment infotype its getting like this. 01.01.2014 to 31.03.9999 and 01.04.9999 to 31.12.9999 Two date entries are creating by default.

Missing BP Userid from Org Assignment
Hi all,
Was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. We are using CRM 5.0 and R/3 4.7.
We are creating our employees in R/3 using PA30 and transferring BP's to CRM using PFAL P- for person, personnel number and update.
After we have assigned the employee to the org as a bp but loose the user id occasionally leaving the user without the ability to log in to the IC web Client. It just disappears from the BP and from the Org assignment.
Has this happened to anyone else?
MaggieThank you - we have resolved the issue this way.
You are correct in that when you transfer an employee from R/3 to CRM using PFAL you must consider the insert vs. update mode. An insert mode will delete all relationships to the org and update will not.
We also found that if the office in the org is not complete with a business partner assigned it will also contribute to the instability of the the position and employees assigned.
Lastly we modified table T77SO using SM31 and value HRALX PQUAL - X.
Doing all these things has kept our employees assigned to the org.

Most of us would know PPOC and org. assignment used in workflows. What I want to know is, this org. assignments do they differ in the way they are built if we use SAP HR in our system. If so how do they differ, it is going to be the same PPOC isn't it.
