Organizational datadetermination rules

Hi all,
i have defined Organizational data determination rules such as Rule type of Organizational model and Rule type of responsibility.
i have taken attributes as Sales ganization,Distribution channel and even simulated the rules there the system is showing agent found(sales Organization).
But when i created Sales transaction it is not determining the Sales area,
can any one suggest in this regard?
thanks in advance.
mdvsapcrm

First check if the Org profile that you have created is assigned to the sales transaction that you are using?
If it is, then go to the Organization tab & check if you are manually able to select the organization that you are looking for. Let me know if its displaying that in the list of values in search.

• How to determine Organizational Data based on User Login

Dear all,
How to determine organizational data based on user login in Activity transaction, currently org determination is happening after entering customer number in the transaction.
We have used 'Responsibility' determination rule for this configuration. Now the requirement is to determine org data based on user login.
In Org model we have assigned user to org data through a business partner. But still org data is not getting determined in the transaction.
Please help me to trace out the problem.. your suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Best regards
Raghu ram

You just have to use other organization determination rule. In your case this would be rule 10000194 (ORGMAN_12). This determination rule delivers the responsible organizational unit of the user
User is defined as a business partner in the container attribute 'PARTNER'. If not, the system user (sy-uname) is used.
So you have to do the following:
- use this determination rule
- in BP link username with employee
- assign in PPOMA_CRM employee or user to organizational unit
This should solve your problem.

• How to set DEFAULT ORGANIZATION in IDM

Hi all,
something strange here.
I assigned 3 different organizations in IDM to a couple of our Administrators.
Here's the problem : whenever an administrator performs a CREATE action (Creates a new user), for some reason, IDM chooses the third organization as the DEFAULT organization in which to place the Employee.
I intentionally removed the : *<FieldRef name='waveset.organization'/>*
Even then, it's quite weird that IDM would decide for itself which Organization to place a new user.
My question is : is there any way to set a Default Organization in my User Form (or in the Create User Workflow) ?
I tried to do the following in my User Form :
*<Field name='waveset.organization'>*
*<Default>*
*<s>Organization A</s>*
*<Default>*
*</Field>*
But, it did not work. IDM kept selecting another Organization as the Default, and all newly-created users were sent there.
Please, help

I have modified your code a little based on code I use. See what you think. By the way I have not tested the code.
I do not global for variables that are only used within the form.

• Partner Determination/Organization Structure

Hi,
I wanted to understand how through partner determination procedure relevant Service Team can be assigned. You can use example of Standard Service Order Transaction SRVO, Standard Partner Determination Procedure 00006, Standard Access Sequence 011 Executing Service Organization, Standard Organization determination rule 1000278 and organization structure 50004983 to explain the connection.
Thanks
Deepak

Hi Deepak,
The description of rule 10000278 says,"
This rule should be used for partner determination via the orgdata model.
It delivers on the basis of orgattribute <H>executing
service organizations</>
It is intended
- for partner determination at item level
- for service items
- when using products in the service item
Executing service organizations are all
in the orgdata model with the following characteristics:
- Service Scenario
- Indicator for executing service organization is set.
These partners are filed as partners of the partner function
category executing service organization in the
transaction.
For example, org data determination is set up in the container after
the postal code and product.

• Moderation via Transport Rule and multiple Arbitration mailboxes

Hello,
when using moderation using a Transport Rule (Transport Rule Action "forward the message to addresses for moderation") it is possible to moderate messages sent to recipients outside the exchange organization (Transport
Rule Predicate "Sent to Users Outside The Organization"). This all works perfect so far using a single arbitration mailbox.
Now I would like to add additional arbitration mailboxes for load balancing purposes. As far as I understand, different arbitration mailboxes can configured on the recipients objects which are moderated using the set-<MailEnabledObject> -ArbitrationMailbox
'XYZ'
Now, for the described case above where the recipients are external (internet) and not available within the directory, is there a way to use multiple Arbitration mailboxes anyway and if yes, how ?
Any feedback welcome. Thanks in advance

• What is the difference between sourcing rule and Bill of distribution

Hi All,
Can anybody explain me the difference between the Bill of distribution and sourcing rule. In what scenario a bill of distribution will be used.
thank in advance for your clarification.
thanks.
babu

Hi Babu
While these 2 entities overlap each other significantly and may be used as a replacement of other at times, there are still a few basic differences outlined below:
1. Sourcing Rules (SR) specify how an item (or group of items) are sourced for replenishment by an entity (say customer/ organization etc). Please note that its expressed in terms of receiving entity.
2. Bill of Distribution (BOD) specify how an item is supplied by an entity (say organization). This is expressed in terms of supplying entity
3. While BOD can only be assigned to internal organizations (could be CM or suppliers if modelled as an organization), Souricng Rule can be assigned to any type of entity including customers, suppliers, organizations and even regions & zones.
4. Typically usage of BOD vs. SR may be dependent on you supply chain structure. If a make organization is supplying to multiple distribution centers etc, BOD may help reduce data setup volume. Instead if a distribution center is sourcing from multiple organizations, SR may be a better choice.
5. If you're using regions & zones or customer locations to model how ATP/ ASCP selects a ship-from organization for Sales Orders, SR is only supported mechanism (unless these customers are modelled as organization)
6. For suppliers (not modelled as Org), SR is only option.
Hope this is helpful and please note BOD & SR aren't multually exclusive and can be used in combination at different levels of your supply chain.
Please let me know if I may help any further.

• OIM 11g R1 LDAP Synch with OID.

Hi,
We are doing an LDAP Synch with OID directly. The users from various organisations in OIM needs to be synched to different OU's in OID, instead of a single container. How do we acheive this? would it be easy if we involve OVD also?

Here is some sample code configuration which may give you a start - hope it helps.
Sample code that can be called in a pre-process event handler to copy the users organinisation to the LDAP Organization Unit
HashMap<String, Serializable> parameters = orchestration.getParameters();
Serializable param = parameters.get("act_key");
String act_key = null;

} catch (OrganizationManagerException e) {
} catch (AccessDeniedException e) {
String orgName = (String) org.getAttribute("Organization Name");
orchestration.addParameter("LDAP Organization Unit", orgName);
Sample container mapping rule

• Publish a document from Document Workspace back to source location - missing option in SharePoint 2013

We intend to use Document Workspaces for reviewing all our Policies & Procedures.
Once all the changes to the document have been made, I am trying to publish a document from a document workspace back to the source location but the 'Send to: Publish to Source Location' option is missing in SharePoint 2013.
So instead I try to use 'Send to: Other Location' and copy / paste the URL from the original document library but this produces an error.
Has anyone come across this and if yes, know of a workaround?
A prompt response would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much for your prompt feedback and response.
Once I click on the file (from the Document Workspace) and go File | Send to | Other Location and then I paste the URL from the original document library and test it and the link works. It shows me the document library of the original location. When I keep
the filename the same (as I want it to override the original document with the new changes) and then I press OK and then it produces the error? I don't know what I am doing wrong???
When I look at the second hyperlink as below I complete all the steps but after step 5 which settings do I enable in the Content Organizer: Settings & Rules? I doesn't state what I need to configure?
Enable the Content Organizer in the Destination Site
To enable the Content Organizer in the destination site, do the following:
Browse to the site you want files routed to.
Select Settings, Site Settings.
Under the Site Actions Grouping, select Manage Site Features.
Activate the Content Organizer feature.
Click Settings, Site Settings, Site Administration, configure Content Organizer Settings and Rules.
Your prompt assistance would be much appreciated.

• Organisational determination from two sources

Hi all,
When creating quotations we need the following information available:
Organisational Unit
Sales org
Distribution channel
Division
Sales Office
Sales Group
Most of this data is maintained on our customer masters – except for Organisational Unit. Therefore, we have tried to use standard Organisation Determination Rule 14000161 (“Org. Data Re. Master Data”). This works quite well because all data maintained on the sold-to party is then copied to the quotation. The only problem is the Organisational Unit which is for some reason always set to the same value as the Sales Group.
Our new requirement is that we want Organisational Unit to be determined based on the employee reponsible on the quotation and his assignment in the org model. Basically, we want his/her department as Organisational Unit. All other org data (sales org, division etc.) we want to take from the sold-to party – as we are doing today.
If we use standard determination rule 10000194 (“User Org Unit”) then we get the Organisational Unit correctly determined (and partially also sales org, distr. chnl. and division). However, Sales Office and group cannot be determined with this rule because we only assign these values to customers in our company.
So it seems I need a new determination rule where some of the org data is determined based on the logic in 14000161 (“Org. Data Re. Master Data”) and then Organisational Unit must be based on 10000194 (“User Org Unit”). But how do I go about this? Or is there perhaps a better way to do this?
I assume that if I want to combine the two existing rules I will need to also build a new function module??? And also, I do not know how to feed the rule with two partner numbers – One being the sold-to party and the other being the Employee responsible.
Hope you gurus have some input. I am quite lost here.
Br,
Anders

Hi Anders,
Yes you have to achive that by creating new functions on organization
determination rule. With this assume your partners both Sold To and
Employee Responsible are entered before you save the documents,
and then you set the organization determination take place when
saving the document.
Hope this helps.
Gun.

• CRM/BP/UI config for ITSM in Solution Manager

Hi,
I do apologise if this has been answered elsewhere - I did do quite a bit of searching first. I have completed the technical configuration of ITSM in our Solution Manager system (7.1 SPS10) and have created BP's for all the SAP users in the default client. Technically, everything seems to be working, but I am now tasked with the "fine tuning" where I need to be able to specify users to belong to a distribution list that must be the first level support, etc. We only really want to use the Service Desk functionality of the ITSM and I don't know how to limit the ITSM configuration to just the Service Desk where a user can log an incident, it must be auto forwarded to the 2 users that are 1st level support and then whatever workflow that needs to be driven from there. I'm open to correction, but this is more the CRM/BP aspect of configuration and I can't seem to find a guide that explains how to do this just for Service Desk on Solution Manager. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks.
Des.

Dear Desmond,
I thin you are looking for Dispatching Messages to the support team. The message dispatching to work properly, the following three core components must be maintained.
- Organizational Model
- Rule Definition
- Action Definition

• Org Model attributes

What are the attributes in Org Model used for?
Thanks

Org Determination Procedure
• Maintain determination rules. You can define new rules for both types, responsibility and organizational attributes. In both cases you can use a wizard to create the rules. You can simulate the rules created with the wizard and process them again if required.
• Maintain organizational data profile. Within the organizational data profile, you choose a scenario (for example, sales or service) for which you want to use the profile. You then assign one of the available determination rules. You can assign one rule with type responsibility and one with type organizational attributes. If you define a rule in both fields, the system finds the intersection of both quantities. Additionally, you define which organizational units are mandatory and must occur in the transaction. You can use the wizard to create and assign organizational data profiles.
• Assign the organizational data profile to one or more transaction types
Cutomizing:
IMG->Customer Relationship Management->Master Data ->organizational Management ->Organizational Data Determination ->Change Rules and Profiles->Maintain Determination Rules
Example:
• Enter determination rule 10000164 (ORGMAN_7- Det. acc. to partner at. (Reg, Country))
• choose Copy.
• Go to container tab page.
• Go to the change mode and modify the values as per your requirement on the Container tab page,
• If you want to delete an value select and right-click and choose Delete entry.
• Save the modified determination rule.
• Simulate organizational data determination based on the values in container tab page.
• Choose Simulate rule resolution and enter the attributes based on the values in container tab .
Organizational data profile maintenance
Create the new organizational data profile.
IMG->Customer Relationship Management->Master Data ->Organizational Management->Organizational Data Determination->Change Rules and Profiles->Maintain Organizational Data Profile
Example :
• Choose New Entries.
• Choose the sales scenario.
• From the list of scenarios, choose Sales.
• Use the determination rule defined in organizational model rule.
• In Organizational model rule, enter the number of the determination rule
• Fill the mandatory fields Sales Organization and Distribution Channel for output of organizational data determination.
• Select Sales organization and Distribution channel.
• Save the organizational data profile.

• MSS Team Calendar and ESS in MSS

Hi OADP and MSS experts,
My client organization is implementing ESS (Basic personal information and leave request services) and MSS (leave approvals and team calendar). Partly the organization has a line manager (A012) relationship who would approve the leave request in MSS (which is fine using SAP standard). Other than line manager relationship, they also have Absence Coordinators who approve the leave request where there are no line manager relationship.
I would like to get your views on the following-
1. Is it possible to use standard OM relationship 'S' A/B 290 is administrator of 'O' for Absence Coordinators and configure OADP to get the views in the MSS team calendar.
2. also the absence coordinators - can they submit leave request (ESS in MSS - related activity for Leave request) on behalf of employees based on the above relationship (A/B 290) .Please note that they will not have chief position assignment
If this can be achieved by OADP configuration I would appreciate any help with configuration documentation.
Looking forward to get your opinions and suggestions please.
Many thanks,

Here is the paths
V_TWPC_ORGVWGRP > MSS_TMV_EE
Check the IMG step
Integration with Other mySAP.com Components -> Business Packages/Functional Packages -> Object and Data Provider -> Organizational Structure Views -> Group Organizational Structure views
MSS_TMV_EE is assigned to MSS_TMV_EE_ORG2 etc etc
And then
These organizational views are defined in IMG step u2026u201Ddefine Organizational Structure viewsu201D:
They have the following Object selections:
MSS_TMV_EE_ORG2
Organizational View MSS_TMV_EE_ORG2 Employees from Organizational Structure
Object Selection MSS_TMV_EE_ORG2 Employees in Org.Structure Up to Level 2
Group of Data Views MSS_TMV_EE Display
Then you have to check the IMG step u2026 Object and Data Provider -> Object Provider -> Define Object selections:
Object Selection MSS_TMV_EE_ORG2 Employees in Org.Structure Up to Level 2
Rule for Root Objects MSS_TMV_RULE1 Managed Organizational Units
Rules for Navigation Objects MSS_TMV_RULE3 Organizational Structure Up to Level
Rule for Target Objects MSS_TMV_RULE4 Employees of an Organizational Unit
Then you can check the rules for object selection: IMG u2026Object provider -> define Rules for Object selection
Object Selection Rule MSS_TMV_RULE1 Managed Organizational Units
Evaluation Path SAP_MANG Org. units managed by persons or users >>> got from t77aw

• Person in BP related to Org Unit

Hi,
I Would like to know, when I create someone in HR, then is transferred to BP, could it be related to some Organization from HR?
Is it possible, or do I have to
1) create person in HR
2) interface with standard report HR -> BP (R/3)
3) make the relationship between "person" and "organization"
Thanks in advance

Hi
Sales areas have to be maintained and replicated accordingly.
If your Organizational unit has to be determined if you enter a BP in the transaction, we have to do the Organizational datadetermination based on Responsibility or Attributes.
Hope this helps, reward points.
cheers,
