OS X Lion still shows download in App Store Purchases

Hi,
I Purchased OS X Lion from App Store and installed in same desktop but when I see Purchases in App Store its showing download, not showing install, all other apps like Twitter shows install. OS X Lion not installed correctly or any other problem? Please guide.
TIA.

Hi..
Nothing to be concerned about. It's an App Store anomaly that will hopefully be rectified soon. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with your Lion installation.

iOS 6.0.1 update still no fix for App Store Purchased section. Keep crashing after few seconds and kicked back to home.
Does apple even aware of this problem???

    Hi, thanks for your comment.
The steps that I have dines so far is similar to you I think.  I have all so tried a restore on all my devices running 6.0.1 and still nothing.  Have spoke to staff in an Apple shop and they were no help at all and kind said it was my devices that had the issue and nothing to do with anything at Apples end.  Have all s spoke to staff in a premium retail seller of Apple products and again, no he,o what so ever.    I think it's clearly a issue at Apples end with the serves sending out that data when request.  IOS6 is full of bugs and runs so slow it silly.
I'm thinking that Android is the way the forward after all the problems I've had with iOS6.

  • Mountain lion still shows download

I have mountain lion on my powerbook, but I have noticed when I am in the app store purchases tab it says download (not installed). Shouldn't it be installed (fully)? My other apps say installed (although OSX lion says download as well)

The OS X installers will always so download in the purchases tab to enable us to easily redownload the instaler. Look at About This Mac in the Apple menu to verify the version of OS X installed.

  • Mountain Lion shows "download" in App Store

I have been using Mt. Lion for quite some time. Whenever I go to purchases at the Appstore, Mt. Lion show "download", not installed. All my other apps show "installed', or "update"-if needed.
Do I dwnload this again, or ignore it? I don't want to do anything that may mess up my computers and OS.

This refers to the Mountain Lion installer. Don't worry about it

  • Mountain Lion won't download from App Store

Hello, I'm on the Mac OS X 10.6.8 and am currently trying to download Mountain Lion onto my computer. However, after I've made my purchase nothing happens when I try to download the software from the App Store. I've tried restarting my computer and App Store. Any ideas?

The loading bar for Mountain Lion actually showed up when I restarted my computer by using the software update. The downloading bar is still empty but I'm guessing I simply can expect quite some time for it to download?

  • Mountain Lion will not download from app store

I have a new macbook pro running Lion, and I tried to download Mountain Lion from the app store yesterday.  it downloaded partly and but then the download seemed to stop. So I disinstalled the partially downloaded software and tried again. But when I try, the icon says "waiting" and the actual download never begins.  I've tried several times with the same result. What should I do?

  • How to make manually downloaded Xcode app show up in app store purchase page?

Is there a way to make mac app store show updates for Xcode app that is downloaded from developer.apple.com without having to download it again from app store itself?
    thanks

If you do as wjosten has advised you, you will have made your chosen app the default for all files with the same filename extension as the file you selected. If you want to do the same for files with different extensions, repeat the same procedure with one file that has each of those extensions.
You can't make one app the default for every video file format in a single operation, because there are so many different video formats, and few if any apps that can play all of them. VLC Player comes close.

  • Mountain Lion won't download from app store even after I've purchased it

I have purchased and tried to download Mountain Lion OS X but the icon just says "waiting" and in the purchases tab on the App Store  it says "an error has occurred" and I can't click anything. What do I do? I just want to download it!

    i have resolved the issue.
I had to close down the App Store, re-open it, and in the purchases tab the error disappeared and the option to resume the download was there again. However, I have spent the last 3 days opening and closing the program, restarting my computer. There is obviously a problem with this because there are other users who've had the same issue. Its frustrating because Apple has already taken my $20. I could have easily gone to a store to buy it if I could.

  • I've downloaded OS X Mountain Lion from the App store , it still shows download on purchases . I've downloaded multiple time and still shows download.

I've downloaded OS X Mountain Lion from the App store , it still shows download on purchases . I've downloaded multiple times and still shows download in App store purchasesSoftware is showing OS X 10.8.3 .

    Is this what you see?
That Download button is telling you it is available for downloading. Since you have paid for it and you are entitled to multiple downloads, that button is correct.

Press Shift key on boot, delete Mountain Lion installer from Applications, open App Store > Purchases and download OS X. If it doesn't help > http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/contact

  • How can I delete the app store purchased history?

The game shows up in app store(purchased) even after I deleted it. How can I remove it from the purchased history?

It can't be removed from your purchase history as that is permanently maintained by the iTunes store.  However, you can hide it in iTunes on your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919, after which it will no longer appear in your history on your iPod unless you unhide it in iTunes.

  • I have an IMAC and purchased OS X Lion to upgrade from the APP store, and launched the software for downloading, and I have been waiting on this for an hour, and it still says it's downloading? What do I do next?

I have an IMAC and purchased OS X Lion to upgrade from the APP store, and launched the software for downloading, and I have been waiting on this for an hour, and it still says it's downloading? What do I do next?

The OS X Lion installer takes more than 4 GB of space, so it is normal for most Internet connections to take the download more than an hour.
If you want to see the download progress, open the Mac App Store and go to Purchases.
Before upgrading, make a backup of your files with Time Machine and check that your apps are compatible > http://www.roaringapps.com

  • On 7/25/2012 I installed OS X Mountain Lion.  Now, each time that I go to App Store/Purchases, The status column for this item indicates "Download".  When I start to download it again it says that it has been downloaded.  Is something wrong.

Installed OS X Mountain Lion. App Store/Purchase shows it as still Download.  Help!

Yes, this is normal. You are permitted to redownload the installer as many times you want, so that you can transfer this to ANOTHER computer after you download.

  • My macbook software is up to date but I am still unable to download the app store, any ideas?

I have a macbook which is about 5 years old now and is not yet running OS X Lion.  I checked for software updates and it says my system is up to date.  Unfortunately it still wont let me download the app store without updating my software but there is nothing to update from what i can see.  Im trying to upgrade to OS X lion but i cant get that till i figure out how to download the app store so if anyone knows another way to go about it I would appreciate that.

The Mac App store requires Snow Leopard (10.6.6) what is your OS

  • I have deleted accounts via preferences Mail,Contacts etc however mailboxes still show in mail app and i am unable to delete them (Delete mailbox is greyed out)!

    Hi,
Ive constantly had problems with mail app since upgrading to mountaion lion. 8/10 time i have to force quit mail but thats not the main problem. I have been trying to delete all my mailboxes however the "Delete Mailbox" option is always greyed out therefore I went to system preferences>Mail,Contacts..., then selected the accounts and clicked " - " and deleted the accounts successfully.
Weird thing is that the mailboxes still show in mail app. I have no accounts showing in preferences as i have deleted everything but when i open mail app, everything is still there.
Anyone have an idea, what is going here? Wish it could be like windows, just uninstall and install the app again -_-
    Thanks in advance!

I found this link for a similar problem someone had with a Lotus Notes account. I used it to resolve my issue with a different email account (basically followed the same steps, and then looked for the particular account I needed to delete)... hope it helps!
