OS X MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH with custom Java location

I'm trying to use Firefox with Java both on a usb stick.
On Windows this works with setting the MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH environment variable to java plugin location (..\Java\bin\plugin2).
I tried to do the same on Mac OS X (10.9.5), Firefox 33.0.1, Java 7u67 but it doesn't work.
It works only if Java is locally installed.
For the test I copied the /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin and unpacked JRE (jre/lib) to some test directory and set the MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH to it.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Marko

  • Calling Web Service Proxy with Custom java Object as parameter

    I created a web service proxy from WSDL URL using JDeveloper 11g(.5 version)
    I need to call a webservice method which takes custom Java Object( Ex: ABC.java) as Input parameter. It creates the XSD java (ABC.java) file for that.
    @XmlElementRef(name = "abc", namespace = "http://impl.service.ns.test", type = JAXBElement.class)
    protected JAXBElement<ABC> abc;
    ABC.java has a property of type java.util.Set of a custom Java Object (Set<XYZ.class>)
    It doesn't create xsd file for XYZ.java.
    @XmlElementRef(name = "XYZ", namespace = "http://model.ns.test/xsd", type = JAXBElement.class)
    protected JAXBElement<Set> xyz;
    Please help me.

    The passing of Java objects in and out of a web service is NOT supported. variables must be xml documents defined by a XML schema. In my opinion, missing Java object and WSDL is not a good idea. -Edwin

  • Not able to work with customized Java roles which were edited in ABAP stack

    Hello All,
    I am trying to copy standard roles into customized roles (i.e. Z roles) using PFCG in XI system. All ABAP based roles are working fine, but all JAVA based roles are not working. I generated profiles as well. And I check all the authorization objects in both standard and customized roles. Everything look same but customized roles are not working.
    And when I check the logs on JAVA stack I found the error which says " User XXXXXXXXXX IP address HTTP request processing failed. HTTP error [403] will be returned. The error is [You are not authorized to view the requested resource.No details available]."
    I thought there might be any Jco RFC connections missing between the stacks and I tried to check in Visual Admin, but I was not able to find much info regarding these roles.
    Am I missing anything or is there any other way for these roles to make customized roles.
    And can any one tell me how to run a trace for JAVA stack activitites as we do in ABAP using ST01. Any help will be rewarded. Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Farooq.

    Java roles work with influence of permissions in Application Server which we call actions in UME. As you are aware in PI user master record will be in ABAP stack. So the roles in ABAP stack will be having only RFC connections to JAVA stack for the specific JAVA based role. So you need to edit the permission on Java App Server. For that you need to log on to server through visual admin and then go to services and you will find the standard groups assigned to actions. But I don’t remember that under which service you will find them
    Under that service you will find some 200 actions. And you have to add the name of the custom created JAVA roles on ABAP to all those actions where you find the standard roles. And its a very very lengthy procedure. So SAP advice to go for customized ABAP roles and Standard JAVA roles.
    Hope this answer clears your query.

  • CRM Survey Suite - Validate fields with custom Java Function

    Hi all,
    Does anybody now how to validate the survey fields when pressing a custom button and before submitting it to the CRM database?
    If I add a custom field, it appears in the html as:
    <a onMouseOver='return true;' href="javascript:void(0)" onClick="return htmlbSL(this,2,'SUBMIT:SUBMIT')" class="sapBtnStd" id="CHECK_VALUES"><nobr>CheckValues</nobr></a>
    Which makes impossible to handle the event with a client side function defined in java script in the html code.
    I've tried to setup the EXAMPLE_DYNAMIC_SURVEY, but I wasn't successful.
    Any tips?

  • Using RDF XML output with custom java concurrent program.

    Hi, I started investigating the java API and did not find the way to use RDF XML output ? The goal is to use the Bursting engine to send out PDF generated from a "RDF XML" and a RTF template.
    Is there someone that could help be with this ?
    Thanks

    Hi Jacky
    Im looking to write a paper on this subject.
    Basically you can write a java conc program that will take the XML output from the Oracle Report and burst it. So you could tackle it a couple of ways.
    1. Have the JCP call the Oracle Report, sit and wait for it to complete then call the bursting engine with the XML and the control file. this has the advantage that its a single step for users to submit the report on the other hand you'll be writing a JCP specifically for that report.
    2. Write a generic JCP that can burst any XML, a little tougher to write but will have applications all over the Apps suites.

  • Custom Java Type persistence with JDO

    Hello,
    I have a question regarding KodoJDO.
    We have a class called "CBOCountry", CBOCountry is a type that has some
    behaviors.
    Each CBOCountry has only one field, an integer.
    We have a class called Person, this class must be persisted in the DB !
    Also, Person has a file of type CBOCountry, so, we need to persist in the
    DB the integer field of the CBOCountry.
    It is possible with JDO ?
    You can call me at +352 295665 280
    (Can you also send me a list of prices for KodoJDO ?)
    Thanks
    Demez Christophe

    Christophe,
    Ah! It seems to be that I recall some discussion of serialization on
    this list and if I recall right, it is possible to serialize an object
    as a field, but then you would lose the ability to query on those
    fields, I'm pretty sure. What you want is CBOCountryValue to be a
    second class object stored in PERSONX table.
    So let's see what the others have to say.

    Thanks David, but ...
    I have 2 tables and only one table is usefull.
    In fact, what I need is a table PERSONX with a field CBOCOUNTRYVALUE !
    In our object model, every field is a specific class ( a CBO), and we do
    not want to create a table by field or even by kind of field.
    Thanks , I appreciate your answer

    Christophe,
    The short answer is yes. Both Person and CBOCountry would be
    enhanced to PersistenceCapable objects with entries in the XML metadata
    (package.jdo) and either entries in the database or in system.prefs.
    When the schematool is run you end up with a PERSONX table in the DB and
    a CBOCOUNTRYX table in the database. The names can be tweaked if
    necessary. Each table will have a column for each persistent field in
    the corresponding object. Which fields are persistent and which are not
    are identified by defaults and by the XML metadata.

  • How can i get rulefiles name in  appllication with using custom java code.

    Hi.
    I want to get rulefiles names from analytic service with using java api.
    How can i get rulefiles name. Which api can i use for this issue?

    Hi,
    Use IEssCube.getOlapFileObjects() api to retrieve rule files.
    Insert this code snipid in your code, it will list all the rule files.
    IEssCube cube = olapSvr.getApplication("Sample").getCube("Basic");
    IEssIterator itr = cube.getOlapFileObjects(IEssOlapFileObject.TYPE_RULES);
    IEssBaseObject[] rfs = itr.getAll();
    System.out.println("Rule file count: "+rfs.length);
    for (int i = 0; i < rfs.length; i++) {
         System.out.println("RuleFile"+i+": "+((EssOlapFileObject)rfs).getName());
    you can also list data files and other file objects by changing IEssOlapFileObject.TYPE in getOlapFileObjects()

    Hi
    According to
    http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs90/webserv/annotations.html#1050414
    If you are going to publish the policy file in the Web Service archive, the policy XML file must be located in either the META-INF/policies or WEB-INF/policies directory of the EJB JAR file (for EJB implemented Web Services) or WAR file (for Java class implemented Web Services), respectively.
    Can you make sure the policy file is in there?
    Also there is a sample from the developer at http://dev2dev.bea.com/blog/jlee/archive/2005/09/how_to_use_anno.html

  • How to create custom java class in Content Server

    Hi All,
    I want to develop a custom java class (.class) file and upload in the UCM(Stellent Content Server). The problem is that I have to use some objects like DataResultSet, SharedObjects etc in my java class file. Since these class files resides in the Content Server I am not able to create a custom java class with these objects.
    Can any one help me to solve the above issue
    With thanks and regards
    Mohan

    Hey there,
    All of the core content server class files are included in a single jar file. This jar is in one of 2 places in the 10gr3 version of UCM:
    1. If you have an unpatched content server include $IntradocDir/shared/classes/server.zip in your classpath
    2. If you have a patched content server include $IntradocDir/custom/CS10gR35CoreUpdate/classes.jar in your classpath.
    In UCM 11g the jar file is located in %MIDDLEWARE_HOME%/Oracle_ECM1/ucm/idc/jlib/idcserver.jar
    P.S. Venkat is correct, post UCM specific questions in the ECM forum.
    Hope that helps,

  • Where to Place Custom Java Code

    We are planning on adding customized Java code to Identity Manager 8; XPRESS will be used to call the customized Java code.
    Questions:
    1) Where does this customised code reside in the Java Application Server (Glassfish)?
    2) Does the customized Java code have to be packaged in a JAR file?
    Many thanks for your help.

    You would deploy custom Java code along with the IDM war/ear file. Classes go in the WEB-INF/classes/ folder, JARs in WEB-INF/lib/ and that is application server independant.
    Class files or JARs? Do you have any build process for your IDM, like the custom build environment CBE, then the source files might end up as class files; if you are using a seperate build environment for those custom classes, then packaging them in a JAR would be the way to go.
    Generally speaking, using a JAR for your custom code is neater; whether a class in classes/com/foo/bar/Foo.class or in lib/myfoobars.jar takes precedence over the other is up to the class loader and depending on your application server and its settings, the behavior might vary - so be careful about mixing use of those locations.

  • SSO problem on Windows Mobile with WAS Java 7.0 and R/3 4.7

    We have a curious single sign-on problem with custom WM-app.
    The application is developed using WD Java and currently runs on WAS 7.0 SPS10. WAS makes calls to several RFC:s on 4.7 Enterprise and authentication is done using SSO.
    The enduser device is a handheld running Windows Mobile and the browser is a vendor (HHP) provided Mobile IE based HandHeldWeb. Because of the poor usability of the default login on handhelds we created a custom J2EE Web Application JSP which does the login to the WM-app.
    On a PC browser everything functions normally, but occasionally with the mobile device no data from R/3 is displayed. As if SSO didn't work. Sometimes, if transaction 1 doesn't work and the user comes out of it, then runs transaction 2 which makes an RFC call and then returns to transaction 1 it works. Sometimes..
    This problem does not occur on mobile device when the default login is used. And as stated previously, on a PC the custom login works fine.

    Hi,
    Currently SAP is selling the Software in Business Suite .
    If you are purchasing the SRM 7.0 .It will come as Business suite . It will contain
    1. SRM 7.0
    2.CRM
    3.PLM
    4.SCM
    5. ECC 6.0 wiht Eph 4
    When you are getting the ECC 6.0 in this package why to use  SAP R/3- 4.6C
    So better you upgrade both the SRM and R/3.
    I would like to know if SRM 7.0 and R/3 4.6C is compatible in first place.Will it work?
    It will work but in the long run you will get lot  of Problem.Since SRM 7.0 is Based on Webdynpro technology

  • How do you invoke custom java classes???

    Could someone post a detailed method of invoking custom java classes that works including what files go where, settings and the way it is invoked etc.
    I have tried various ways from this forum and in the documentation without success. I am using IDM 8. I found these instructions regarding how you would do it if you were writing custom resource adaptors in the deployment tools guide:
    To install a resource adapter you’ve customized:
    1. Load the NewResourceAdapter.class file in the Identity Manager installation
    directory under
    idm/WEB-INF/classes/com/waveset/adapter/sample
    (You might have to create this directory.)
    2. Copy the .gif file to idm/applet/images.
    This .gif file is the image that displays next to the resource name on the List
    Resources page, and it should contain an image for your resource that is
    18x18 pixels and 72 DPI in size.
    3. Add the class to the resource.adapter property in
    config/waveset.properties.
    4. Stop and restart the application server. (For information about working with
    application servers, see Identity Manager Installation.)
    I tried the instructions here but placed my custom class in a folder entitled custom instead of /adapter/sample. Not sure about instruction 3 or whether it is relevent. Anyway nothings working.

    Hi,
    The way to add custom class is the same as you followed , put them in the WEB-INF/classes.
    To use the custom adapter ,
    Go To Resources - > Configure Types -> Add Custom Resource .
    Type in the fully qualified class name of the custom adapter you added.and Save.
    Now the new adapter you added should showup in the list of available adapters when you try to
    configure a new adapter.
    (Make sure that the prototype XML of your custom adapter is correct so that it displays the correct name / type for the adapter in the adapter list.
    Thanks,
    Balu
