OSB - Import resources from UDDI(OSR) Issue

Hello
i am currently using OSR to register WSDL services, and then import the servcie to the OSB.
however, i have got something unclear:
1. seems even i checked the "Enable Auto Import" for my UDDI registery in OSB console, i still have to import business service manually
2. after i imported the business service, i found that the name of WSDL was something like "WSDL_1983082492" , is it possible to import the wsdl with exactly the name i defined in OSR(like DemoServiceWSDL) ? so that i don't have to change it manully in OSB console?
3. how to create a service account in OSR ??? does OSR support such feature??

We have a pre-production Oracle Service Bus with an intensive amount of development activity - a lot of deployments and testing.
For deployment we use System Administration > Import Resources , and upload a JAR from Eclipse workspace.
The thing is that after 20-30 deployments, the logs start to show Warnings of Low Memory, and a few later Errors like this:

After that, there is no other solution than rebooting the whole WLS and OSB, because even the consoles are not accessible.
Is there some way to check memory levels, JVM heap occupation, or to prevent this problem from appearing?

Suspect you've too many tasks in the OSB admin history.
OSB remembers the deployment tasks and everything else you do through the console to allow them to be undone. Unfortunately, it seems to try and load these all into memory so if you've done a lot of deployments, you'll eventually run out of memory.
If you can start the admin server, go to the OSB admin console and purge all tasks. If it won't start, then rename $domain/osb and start the admin server. You'll have to do a fresh configuration deployment, but at least you can start the server.
I did raise an SR on this a long time ago but was unable to reproduce the problem, though I have seen it again since then.

OSB - Load Resources From URL using proxy

Hi all,
How does one force the OSB to use a proxy server when using the Load Resources From URL option?
I'm trying to create a wsdl resource from an url, but the OSB needs to use a proxy to access the url.
I've tried creating a Proxy Server under System Administration -> Global Resources -> Proxy Servers, but I can't seem to find a place to make it use a proxy server?
How do guys and gals get wsdl files though a proxy?

I tried setting -Dhttp.proxyHost=12.34.56.78 -Dhttp.proxyPort=80 in the startWebLogic.cmd file under the ...\domain\bin folder. But still can't download the wsdl.

Importing graphics from photoshop resolution issues

Hi,
I'm new at final cut but I'm having an issue with a graphic that I imported from photoshop.
The image is 300 dpi : 2896 pixels by 2175 pixels. I saved it as a targa file
with an alpha channel to mask the graphic. The image looks horrible
"quality wise" in my final cut project. Why is this?
Is there something I have to know as far as sequence settings?
The big issue here is that before I realized the image quality was that bad
I have already done a lot of work. Is there a setting that I can fix
or do I have to re-import my graphics a different way and re-do all my work?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Please be as specific as you can and bear with me
since I am new to video editing terminology.

make sure you don't get confused about the image size here. if you targa file is being used on the canvas where it's edges go beyond the main viewable area, then you DO want it big. I find bigger the better. Photoshop does a better job of sizing stuff to the correct size if you only use it at that size, but it your image is being zoomed in on, then keep it as a big file. targa / .tga files work fine by the way.
I do a lot of animations that i chop together in FCP and its still images manipulated in FCP that are the weak link. It seams that regardless of setting field dominance or exporting as interlaced etc, it will still look ropey on computer. it will look beautiful on TV, but even on LCD tv's it don't look too hot. I think it's all been tailored to DV and interlaced stuff and doesn't seem to capable of being used simply as an 'editor' it's all aimed at importing from camera etc, which is fair enough given who it's aimed at. But i've moved on to After effects which does the job much better, all beit more slowly, more complicated, and generally far less 'apple' which is a pain.
if anyone works out whats going on and if it is fixable i'd love to come back to the FCP party though!

I found a regedit trick to prevent firefox from popping up the "would you like to import settings from IE?" thing every time, but my issue now is that every morning I have to re confirm exceptions for sites that I routinely use... Is there a way to get around having to do that every morning when people log into this computer? I am willing to write a batch script if someone could give me direction or mess with the registry if need be....

I was encountering this on the developers' beta of iTunes 9.2 on a gigabyte-sized iPhone 4 movie. (I am in Developer Program.)
I just reinstalled with the standard iTunes download and was able to do a successful import directly from the phone.
Perhaps an iTunes reinstall can fix it for you as it did for me.

Import from UDDI

I get an error when trying to import from UDDI into ALSB 2.6.
I get as far as the step to Review and Import Services.
It lists a valid Name, Path, and Type, but the status message says "Wrong Inquiry URL entered." The leftmost column has a yellow triangle with an ! in it.
Inquiry URL usually applies to UDDI, and I seem to have successfully configured ALSB to know about a UDDI server (Systinet 6.0). All the URL's configured in ALSB for this UDDI server are correct, and the ALSB "validate" button in the UDDI configuration shows success. The ALSB menu for businesses is populated from the list of businesses found in the UDDI server, so at some level ALSB has the correct Inquiry URL.
Any suggestions for the error message I get when trying to import from UDDI?

I resolved it by installing the UDDI registry in Discovery mode and not Standalone..
That worked for me. Not sure why this is the case.

If this is one of exercise then just open the Enterprise Resource pool in Project Pro, make sure the data matches in the columns in the Enterprise Resource Pool and the Excel file then copy and past in the resources from Excel to Project.

Issue with importing DV from Canopus ADVC-300

My concern is this:
When I convert and import footage from VHS tapes through my Canopus ADVC-300 I have to babysit the import because whenever there is a spot on the tape without footage (blackness, snowy confetti screen) either the Canopus device stops sending the signal and iMovie stops importing because of this OR iMovie senses the same thing the Canopus does and stops the import.
Is there a fix for this? I would like to be able to just hit IMPORT and walk away for 2 hours, so I can do other things with my day and simply go back and edit out whatever frames are fuzzy or blacked-out.

I use the canopus ADVC110, presumably not a universe away from your Canopus, but I have only once got the problem you describe from VHS tapes, and that was a tape that had been stored too long without use.
Try fully winding the tape forward and then rewinding again. It can loosen 'sticky tape'. Cleaning the tape heads of the VCR is also beneficial.

Issues importing messages from live mail

I am having problems importing messages from my WIndows Live Mail to my Thunderbird. The instructions say go to "Tools ImportExport | Import all messages from a directory | Also from its subdirectories." However in my Thunderbird l have tools, import and then it takes me to a wizard which says "This wizard will help import messages....." and when l select 'mail' as the type l wish to import it asks for a type of mail l want to import. Windows Live Mail is not in the list. Do you have any instructions or advice?

Import photos from iphone to iphoto

I've been able to easily import photos from my iphone to iphoto by connecting my phone to the computer via USB cable. However, it does not seem to be working. I have the older version of iphoto (I believe it's version 9), and when I connect my phone it is not automatically asking if I want to import. I've checked my preferences in iphoto, and have it set to open when a mobile device is connected. When reading other posts similar to this issue it seems that there is a "device" section over to the left, which I do not have in my iphoto. I know the USB cable is working because I can see my phone is connected to my itunes on my computer. I would like to take my photos off my phone to free up some space. Thanks!
