OSB Service Deployment

I am trying to expose web services from EJB as OSB proxy services. Basically, what I have done so far is, import WSDL of web services from URL, create business service and proxy service, and export the project as sbconfig.jar.
But when I deploy the sbconfig.jar to different environment, I have to change Endpoint URL in the business service and XML schema references in WSDL file. So rather than manually editing from OSB console, is there any way that I can make it configurable or automated? Thanks.

I couldn't find any place in customization file that I can modify schemaLocation attribute. How could I edit it? Thanks again.

OSB services didn;t got discovered in OEM 12cR2

Hi All,
I hace installed OEM 12cR2. I want to monitor OSB services (Proxy and Business) from OEM 12cR2. Following one of the Oracle document I opened the osb console and turned on the service monitoring for proxy service and set the level to "pipeline". Also I turned on the service monitoring for business service. I refreshed the OSB domain which has been added in OEM and in which my proxy and business service have been deployed.
But I find no data captured for my proxy and business service. The page for OSB services shows no entry for my proxy and business service. Even the services didn't get discovered. The OSB services page in OEM shows a blank page even if I turned monitoring for osb services on in my osb console.
Please suggest what I should..where I went wrong.
Also I checked by turning on the service monitoring for proxy service and set the level to "action" but this also didn't work.
Please help!!

I am little confused here. What I understood from your other posts is that you do not even see the proxy/business services in EMCC OSB target home page, but now it sounds like you do see the services, but you don't see the metrics. Is that correct? Lets take two possibilities:
1) OSB business/proxy services are discovered in EMCC. but the metrics are not collected. For this, check the following:
a) The agent monitoring your OSB domain shouldn't be down and there should be no incident due to this cause on the OSB homepage. If yes, file a SR to get agent issue resolved.
b) If agent is up, then go to OSB taget menu > Monitoring > Metric and collection settings and make sure that the "OSB Business Service Metrics" and "OSB Proxy Service Metrics" are not disabled and the time interval is not too large such as in days/weeks. Make sure all other metrics that you are interested in are also not disabled.
c) If both of the above are true, then also make sure that constant traffic is flowing through OSB so that EMCC gets enough cycles to collect the data from the hosts.
2) OSB business/proxy services are NOT discovered in EMCC at all. For this, do the following:
a) Refresh the OSB domain once and see if these services get discovered.
b) If refresh is also not discovering these services, then this seems to be some OSB/Mbeans level misconfiguration and will need to be worked by support as it would be a client specific issue, so create a SR.
Also, can you close the other threads around OSB monitoring topic so that we can work on just this thread since there seems to be few threads with duplicate information floating around.

Calling the osb service from java

Hi all,
i am trying to invoke osb service at a remote host which is accessed with no proxy settings in the broswer
I followed "code 2" in the below link to create the java client in the jdeveloper

But my fusion team is not giving me wsdl to call they wanted to me to call through http onlyI don't understand that... Did they tell you a reason?
Is their any best practice for the above scenario? I didn't see your code, but looking at the code you mentioned, I would say that call a webservice in java 6 mounting the http manually doesn't look like a good practice to me at all, we are in 2012, moreover, create an XML by concatenating tags like "<xmltag>" + variable + "</xmltag>" is even worst, use DOM at least.
They gave me the admin servers uri but the service was running in the managed serverUnless "they" are using a topology where the OSB is deployed along with the Admin Server, what is not recommended, OSB Services will run on the managed server(s). If they have more than one OSB managed server in cluster they need a load balancer on the front, or are they expecting you to do that as well? Who are "they"?
I'm not sure what version of Fusion the service was implemented, I'm assuming it is 11g.

Error invoking web service deployed in SOA Suite

I have implemented a stateful web service in Jdeveloper 10.1.3.2.
I can test succesfully an operation of the web service from the embedeed oc4j of jdeveloper, but i can not succes when i try do the same from the application server control of soa suite.
The response of the web service in the second case, is the xml of the request.I can not understand.
I implemented a web service proxy in jdeveloper that invokes the web service deployed in soa suite.When i run it, it gives me an exception like this:

Jdeveloper WS proxy error while invoking web service deployed on weblogic

Hello experts, can you please help me. I have web service deployed on weblogic server.
I have not set any credential for this web service. I can test the service from SOAPUI without providing any credentials.
Then I generated WS proxy client using Jdeveloper. When I try to run the client, I do not know why I get security execption (shown below) eventhough I have not secured the web service deployed on weblogic server.

Problem generating stubs for Java EJB web service deployed in OAS

I created an EJB web service and I've successfully deployed it in my Oracle App Server. Some of the methods work fine but others produce the ff error:
org.apache.soap.SOAPException - java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No Serializer found to serialize [classname] using encoding style [encoding]It seems that the objects specified as parameters in the web service methods exposed are the only ones that had stubs generated for them. Other objects I use, which are usually wrapped inside a Vector, did not have generated stubs.
Example:
public String loginUser(UserDTO userDTO) throws RemoteException, NamingException, SQLException;
public String addItems (Vector vecItems) throws RemoteException, NamingException, SQLException; // where vecItems is a collection of ItemDTO objects In this scenario, stubs were generated for the UserDTO class, but not for the ItemDTO class. In effect, calling the addItems method resulted to the exception I mentioned above.
I did a workaround wherein I declared a dummy method which accepted all the types of objects I needed as parameters so all the necessary stubs can be generated, but this fix doesn't feel like it's the proper solution to my problem.

Questions in regards to server 2012R2 Remote desktop Service deployment and GPO

We have a business requirement moving to 2012R2 RDSH server. I have installed a 2012R2 member servers and enabled Remote desktop licensing role. I have activated the licenses. the servers is in operational
I have deployed 3 windows 2012R2 member server "RDS1" , "RDS2" and "RDS3".
on RDS1 I ran Add roles and Feature Wizard > Remote Desktop Services installation > Quick Start >Session based desktop deployment to complete the installation.
On RDS1 Server Manage Dashboard Page Select Remote Desktop Services > Overview. Under RD Licensing I added my 2012R2 license server "2012r2-tslic". Go to task. Edit deployment properties RD license mode to per device and click OK.
Reboot RDS1
Check RD Licensing Diagnoser everything is clear
On RDS2 I did the exact same thing ran Add roles and Feature Wizard > Remote Desktop Services installation > Quick Start >Session based desktop deployment to complete the installation.
But With RDS2 I move this server to an OU that link to a GPO with RD licensing details. after reboot the servers check RD Licensing Diagnoser I can see 2012r2-tslic specified as the license servers.

Here are my questions
We currently have ten 2008r2 terminal servers in a NLB cluster. each RDSH server have in house application installed on each one of them. User connect to the 2008R2 RDSH servers via RDP connection. we have a restricted GPO apply to those
RDSH servers. user cannot do anything on RDSH servers apart from running the application and use excel. On the remote desktop session host configuration we have enable settings like end a disconnected session , Active session limit ,
remote control users session , LPT port redirection.
We push out RD license server detail via GPO to the terminal servers
Can I use our existing GPO apply the licensing server settings , desktop restriction setting to the 2012R2 RDHS servers or we should be using Remote desktop Service deployment to do the job ? If that is the case how would you transfer the
current 2008r2 environment to 2012 using Remote desktop Service deployment. is that mean I have to manually configure 1 by 1.

Please see my response to you in the other thread. Please contact me via email and I will go over the basic planning and deployment steps with you which will help clear things up and get you started off on the right foot.
You should only run through the wizard and create a RDS deployment once. Then you add the various servers (RDSH, RD Licensing, RD Gateway, etc), set Deployment properties, etc.

I tried with DBadapter select it does not work ... For blob objects cant use select throws error as expected number got blob
can call a stored procedure to write the file to some directory but that file will not be created with the same name of the file as stored in DB .. need to hard code the filename in utl file or if we pass a variable to get the name of the attachment file we have to use select query in cursor which throws error like above in step 2
Can some body tell me how to get the blob attachment with the same name as it is stored in DB table

Urgent - please help with osb-service bus schema validation.

I have a proxyService runing on osb service bus, when I send wrong input to my proxyservices it react correctly by rejecting it, becuase the requestion is not conform to the schema, but I only get the error message saying that
the Input is does not much, is there a way to get more info about the error ?
like witch fields that cause the error ?

The fault variable in your stage error handler will have the approariate information. Just add a stage error handler in the stage you are doing schema validation (make sure that in validate action you are selecting "raise Error on validation failure") and the error handler log the $fault

Java client for OSB service

Hi All,
We have to talk to OSB11g proxy service which is created as Any Soap service (url: http://myosb.firmname.com:7001/osb-ws)
I have java client applications which need to consume this proxy service built on top of OSB by providing the necessary inputs.
Typically we get wsdl url's and then we use Jdeveloper to create web service client proxies to generate client side web service artifacts and call the web service.
But I am confused here as to how can I get a handle to the OSB service from a java client. The OSB developers on the project tell me they don't have and cannot provide a WSDL based URL.
What are the general practices for consuming OSB proxy service from java client apps. Google search result did not yield much help.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks for reply. As u guys mentioned that about the URL I have rechecked the URL and realized the port number which I was using that was Admin Server Port while environment contains two servers Admin and Managed both. I have change the Port Number from Admin to Managed now its hitting the Service but now another problem I start facing that I need to pass a big XML as input request to that OSB Proxy Service. I have two different code where I am attaching the input request in two different ways but none of them is passing that request to URL and in both cases I am getting default response from URL.

Need help calling SOAP service deploy in WebLogic

My name is veda.
Need some help in calling a SOAP binding web service deploy in Weblogic, using classic ASP
After reading this link http://www.aspfree.com/c/a/ASP/Consuming-a-WSDL-Webservice-from-ASP/,
1. i still do not know what value to pass in for parameter SoapURL. I did try http://invicta.app.vic:8002/RTO/RTOService/getCustomerOffers, but return a negative result.
2. Am i right to say i cannot do a SoapRequest.Open "GET",
or SoapRequest.Open "POST", because i only have a SOAP protocol binding instead of HTTP protocol binding.
I really appreciate any help to enlighten me.

BPM Studio call web service deployed by R12 Intergration Repository error

Hi, I encountered a problem when calling a web service deployed by R12 Intergration Repository (SOA Gateway) w/ username/password authentication.
It seems that the BPM Studio can not pass the security information to the web service. But using SoapUI it's quite easy to call the service with no error, just set the username and password, and set the password type to PasswordText.
Under the External Resources catalog, I've set fileds in the Security tab with "Plain" Username Token, "sysadmin" Username and "sysadmin" Password, then changed the Authentication Type to "Username Token Profile". Then create a participant named sysadmin, and use this participant to run the process, but it just can't work.
Anybody can help? My colleague also posted a topic here: processRemoteException when invoke webservice from Oracle E-Business Suite but nobody answered. It would be very appreciated if sb. can fix this.

I've encounter something similar to you're problem and it was resolved by manually creating the object using the web service constructor and inputting user credentials. If you manually instantiate your web service wrapper object and set a a security profile token, it may solve your problem. You can also pass in the web service endPoint URL, if you want.
Fuego.WebServices.UsernameTokenProfileSecurityPolicy
I'm not sure how to use UsernameTokenProfileSecurityPolicy, but try something like this:

I realize the security profile isn't tied anywhere to the web service, but try it anyway.
There is also some fields on the webservice, tws.setRequestHeader() that may allow you to set the username and password on the request, but this doesn't make sense to me. It shouldn't be that hard.

Can't remove Service Deployment Configuration

Hello,
When i try to remove VMM Service Deployment Configuration i get error:
Error (26965)
VMM is unable to find the specified static IP address pool. The specified name may be incorrect, or the pool may have been deleted.
Recommended Action
Verify that the name is correct and that the static IP address pool exists on the VMM management server.
How to force delete this Service Deployment Configuration ?

Not sure about supportability with Microsoft. But this should allow you to delete the orphaned Service Deployment Configuration in SCVMM.
1. Open SQL Server Management Studio.
2. Navigate to SERVERNAME\Databases\VirtualMachineManagerDB\Tables\tbl_WLC_TierConfig, right click
tbl_WLC_TierConfig and click Select Top 1000 Rows.
Look for the name (e.g. Web Service) of the
delinquent Service Deployment Configuration and record/write down the
TierConfigId. (e.g. CCAAFC3B-F26A-46A5-8EBA-8FB6813537A0)
3. Navigate to SERVERNAME\Databases\VirtualMachineManagerDB\Tables\tbl_WLC_VMDeploymentConfig, right click
tbl_WLC_VMDeploymentConfig, and click Select Top 1000 Rows.
Look for the TierConfigId from step 2. and record/write down the
VMConfigId(s). (e.g. 5C68C6A1-2063-4C4C-B7A4-42236BFEF809, 2A372909-BB9F-4456-AC55-806326BFCFB9, etc.)
4. Navigate to SERVERNAME\Databases\VirtualMachineManagerDB\Tables\tbl_WLC_NICConfig, right click
tbl_WLC_NICConfig and click Edit Top 200 Rows.
Look for the VMConfigId(s) from step 3. and change the
IPV4VMSubnetPoolId and IPv4SubnetVLanId values to
NULL. These values are the orphaned ID's for the deleted IP Address Pools (SCVMM Error 26965).
5. Open SCVMM console.
6. Navigate to Library\Templates\Service Deployment Configurations, select the object
(e.g. Web Service), right click it and select Delete.

External web services deployment

Hi,
I am facing a situation of web services deployment. I am using Jdeveloper 10g and oracle bpel process manager 10.1.3.1.0. I am not able to deploy web services. The following are the steps that I followed to consume that web service called web service called WeatherByCity from xmethods.net.
Create new Application---> create new empty project( I named it 'projectgt') ----> new 'java web service from wsdl' from wsdl document url (http://ws.strikeiron.com/InnerGears/WeatherByCity2?WSDL ------------->
--> In the default mapping options for Package Name I put 'projectgt' and root package for generated types I put 'projectgt.types'. All the other options are default. When I right click Webservices.deploy under resources and deploy to the application server, it says failed to deploy with the following message.
