Osssearchresults.aspx page throwing error on only one webapplication in SharePoint 2013

I am working with Search in SharePoint 2013 Standard version.
I am facing while searching on a SharePoint Web-application. The page "osssearchresults.aspx" showing error in URL "http://SharePointserver/_layouts/15/osssearchresults.aspx"
but when I am searching on other web-application, the result is shown from "not-working web-application" also and all other webapps also.
I have created site collections in not-working web application but the problem is same on other site collections also (if it is created in that web application).
The web application is having DMS so to search documents we need search.
I am not getting any results in other search pages 'created in site pages'.
I found the crawling is working for all files.
I am getting below error:

Hi Khan,
Per my knowledge, the osssearchresults.aspx can only return results from the site collection or current site.
Could you please provide a screenshot of the search results in the web application without issue including the URL?
I also recommend to create a search center in the web application with issue and then check if the results from the web application can be returned.

DFF in Competency Region of Update Appraisal: Overview Page throwing Error

Hi,
I want to show a extra field in the competency region of Update Apprisal page for employee self service.
I have added one dummy segment to global data elements segment of PER_COMPETENCE_ELEMENTS dff. I have used Attribute1 for this.
In page i created one MessageChoice item and by extending controller i executed the message choice VO and mapped this item to Attribute1 of CompetenceElementsVO. Everything is working fine but in some cases its throwing the following error when i save or try to send the apprisal to manager.

i am getting "ID_Flex_Ctx_Global for the flex field segment Context doesnot exist in the value set >$FLEX$.DF_CONTEXTS." errorAttach the DFF field to the page using flex item only.
First remove value set attached (if any) to the DFF segment (Attribute1) and test the page. If this works fine(and as per the error message) there seems to be some mistake you doing regd. value set.
Post all the steps you have followed.

Aspx page giving error while migrating to another site

According to your description, my understanding is that the Page Layouts was missing for a site in SharePoint Designer.
For this issue, there is a common scenario:
You have a subsite in a site collection
The publishing feature is activated in the subsite, but not in the site collection
You want to edit/add page layouts on the site collection level, to be used within your subsite
When you open the site collection in SharePoint Designer, you can't see Page Layouts in the Site Objects panel
You now have 2 options: you can either activate the publishing feature in the site collection (and the Page Layouts link comes back), or you can use the All Files link and browse to the master pages and page layouts library (_catalogs > masterpage.)
Either option will do, unless you really don't want the publishing feature in the site collection.

Certificate error on only one of two identical systems?

I recently installed two COMPLETELY identical Ubuntu 12.04 systems, PC01 and PC02. The browser is latest version of Mozilla Firefox.
When visiting https://www.komplett.dk/k/signin.aspx with PC01, the connection is secure and everything is OK, no error messages. When visiting the same URL with PC02, the following error message is shown:
This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.komplett.dk, but we can't confirm that
your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove
that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
What Should I Do?
If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is
trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.
Get me out of here!

Why is this happening when the systems are COMPLETLY identical? i have tried to delete the profile folder on both systems, but the result is the same. NO certificates has been manually installed on PC01, so that is not the reason. The file size of cert8.db on PC01 is 94K and on PC02 it is 64K, I do not understand how the size can be different when the profiles are newly created.
I would really like to find out why I am experiencing different behaviour with Firefox, on two identical systems, so any suggestions or ideas are very welcome.

Export error on only one DB

On only one of the instance that I try to export.

MB01 GR error Enter only one true account assignment KI249

Hi Experts,
We are getting an error message as "Enter only one true account assignment KI 249" in MB01 transaction while doing goods receipt for a subcontracting PO. Subcontracting PO is created from a maintanence order for external operation. Account assignment of PO is with maintanence order. Account assignment F and item category L. Maintanence order inturn is reference to a sales order. We are into ECC 6 DIMP system. Same scenario is working fine in ECC 5 system and this issue is appearing in upgrade. Please provide your inputs for this problem.

Copy of Standard Page throws error Unable to find component reference

I have copied a Standard Page to custom package to modification after importing when I try to run the page I get the following error.

"Open In Excel" button inside the Xlviewer.aspx page return Error and I can not open excel using local office

Inside the xlviewer.aspx page when I click on "Open In Excel" at first I receive this Error:

Locking a JSP Page i.e allowing only one user to access it at a time

Hi,
I have web application where multiple users can log in at the same time.
I have a JSP where a user is presented with a list of executable items.It is quite possible that at the same time more that one user tries to execute the same item.I want to disable this. i.e at a time only one user should be able to execute the item.
Currently what i can think of is putting an extra column in the database...saying that this item is locked and you cannot access it until unlocked.But then this would involve a round trip to database.I want to avoid it, and do some coding in java code itself.
But i dont know how to proceed.

Yesterday my SharePoint server was running fine and today when I try to update a SharePoint solution (wsp) I got same error. Even if I try to do any operation

An Error occurred while running detection with sharepoint 2013 SP1

I am trying to install SP1 for MS SharePoint 2013. after starting the wizard am getting "An Error occurred while running detection" error. I have ran SharePoint config wizard to troubleshoot it. still same problem persist.
my current SP build version is 15.0.4551.1508. I think SP1 is applicable on SP build versionn15.0.4569.1000.
How I can upgrade 15.0.4551.1508 to 15.0.4569.1000
any have idea on how to resolve or troubleshoot this issue ?

could you please share the upgrade log file, so that we understand the error?
did you reboot your server after the installation of SP1?
also try to clear the Config cache on the servers and then try again?
you can run this command on the server its failing
