Outbound Delivery (Tables - VEPO & VEKP)

Hi All,
For a particular outbound delivery i find a few materials which have been packed, But in the table VEPO i do not find an entry for these materials, but i find the entry in VEKP table, can anyone let me know why is there no entry in VEPO table?
Hope my question is clear.
Await inputs.
Vivek

Mr. Murali,
Thanks for the info. Actually i am building a query report & i have joined LIKP - VEPO - VEKP. I tried joining LIKP directly with VEKP, but there is no direct link as the delivery order number is stored as a object key in VEKP & hence i cant join the 2 tables.
Any suggestion how i can join these 2 tables (i.e. LIKP & VEKP)?

  • Update VEKP-EXIDV2 during automatic HU creation from outbound delivery

    Hi All,
    I need your suggestion / input on following scenario.
    When I create an outbound delivery and save it, an automatic Transfer Order is created and at the same time an HU is created for delivery.
    Now, I want to populate the field VEKP-EXIDV2 ( HU header -- Handling Unit's 2nd External Identification) with a specific logic.
    Can anyone suggest a suitable EXIT or BADI or Enhancement point where I can populate the field VEKP-EXIDV2 ?
    Note: I have tried using EXIT_SAPLV51S_001 and also BADI_HU_MAIN, but it is not helping in my case.
    Because it is called only when Transfer Order is created manually (LT03), but is not triggered when TO is created automatically after saving the outbound delivery.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Devendra

    Hi Ankur,
    I am not going into HU creation screen in VL02N. There is some setting on functional side to create the automatic TO and HU during outbound delivery creation.
    When I save the delivery, an entry in HU header table (VEKP) gets created automatically. I want to populate the field VEKP-EXIDV2. But, the EXIT or BADI as mentioned in my previous post is not helping in this case.
    I would appreciate if you can throw some light in resolving this problem.
    Thanks.

  • Handling Unit Link (VEKP-EXIDV) in inbound/outbound delivery

    Hello,
    I need to code the automation of logical pick and pack tasks in the trading company such that the following fields of the outbound delivery are automatically populated based on the corresponding fields from the inbound delivery:
    1.) Pick Quantity (LIPSD-PIKMG) comes from the pick quantity from inbound delivery to trading company
    2.) Batch Number (LIPS-CHARG) comes from the batch from inbound delivery to trading company
    3.) Handling Units (VEKP-EXIDV) comes from the handling units from the inbound delivery to trading company.
    I've found a way to link the outbound to it's corresponding inbound delivery through table EKES (link of stock transfer order number to the inbound delivery), however I could not find the link of the stock transfer order to the handling units (VEKP-EXIDV).
    Any idea on this?
    Thanks.
    Sincerely,
    Ice

    //What I found was that VBFA-VBELN = VEKP-VENUM, given that VBFA-VEBELV = inbound directory (LIKP-VBELN) and VBFA-VBTYP_N = 'X' (handling unit).
    From that link I was able to get the external handling units (VEKP-EXIDV) since the key VENUM has been identified.
    During the pick and pack i have to link the LIKP+LIPS  and VEKP  for handling unit and internal identification number.
    VBFA is for sales document flow which is helpful for forward and reverse navigation to itdentify the documents .
    Inputs for the Feed has to be from LIKP / LIPS and VEKP
    Please refer to tcode VL02N and in here check Packing options with all the subscreens of Packing Hu's and Single entry .

  • Outbound Delivery - Header (Text field - Table Name)

    Hi All,
    In outbound delivery header - Texts tab i notice that we can maintain some texts. May i know which table i should refer to read the text entered.
    I can read the text type key from the table TTXTD, but i need to read the actual text entered by the user.
    Hope my question is clear, await your inputs.
    Regards,
    Vivek

    HI,
    SAP has already provided a various functions for read the text element. So you no need to get the value from table directly!
    There is some example
    CALL FUNCTION 'READ_TEXT'
           EXPORTING
              CLIENT           = SY-MANDT
              ID               = T_TEXT_ID
              LANGUAGE     = 'E'
              NAME          = T_UNIQUE_ID
              OBJECT          = T_TXTOBJ
         IMPORTING
              HEADER          = HTEXT
         TABLES
              LINES          = T_READ_LINE
         EXCEPTIONS
              ID               = 1
              LANGUAGE                    = 2
              NAME                            = 3
              NOT_FOUND                      = 4
              OBJECT                         = 5
              REFERENCE_CHECK     = 6
              WRONG_ACCESS_TO_ARCHIVE = 7
              OTHERS                  = 8.
    Let me explains as below parameters.
    T_TEXT_ID - Text id: example - '08000123', also is the document no.
    T_UNIQUE_ID - Text unique ID: example - 'ZD01'
    T_TXTOBJ - Text Object: example - VBBK
    That information can find it on relevant of document. In your case, you can fount it on the below path:
    VF01n/VF02n > GoTo -> Header -> Text -> detail (is the push small button, then it will go to the next screen) -> Goto -> Header.
    Return Value tales - THEXT and Table Line - T_Read_line
    You must declare this variable before,
    DATA: BEGIN OF HTEXT OCCURS 50.
            INCLUDE STRUCTURE THEAD.
    DATA  END OF HTEXT.
    DATA: BEGIN OF T_READ_LINE OCCURS 50.
            INCLUDE STRUCTURE TLINE.
    DATA: END OF T_READ_LINE.
    READ TABLE T_READ_LINE INDEX 1. "read the line value
    I hope this can help, so remembers reward the points

  • Problem in updating LIPS table in outbound delivery user exit

    Hi,
    I wrote a code in outbound delivery user exit (save document userexit) to update LIPS table.
    for example
    XLIPS-LGORT = '0657'.
    XLIPS-PIMNG = I_LIPS-LFMING
    (PICKing QUANTITY =  DELIVERY QUANTITY)
    MODIFY XLIPS TRANSPORTING LGORT PIMNG.
    After outbound delivery created i couldn't found my entries in lips table. it shows me as blank.
    Can anybody tell me what went wrong?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Suresh.

    Hi Suresh,
    If you want to change any delivery data, like LIKP or LIPS you should use the USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE exit. The exit you are using is called after all delivery data is passed to the update task.

  • Delete assignment of HU from outbound delivery (VL02N) not working

    Hi All
    I have searched many threads to find the solution to be above problem but none of them was working for me, so posting the query again.
    I hava a dummy pick HU that I create for some purpose, finally i want to delete the assignment of the HU in the outbound delivery.(not to delete the HU completely). For me, the assignment of the HU vanishes from outbound delivery with 3 FM's. 'HU_GET_HUS' , 'V51P_DELETE_RELATIONSHIP' and 'HU_POST'.
    The problem is, when i PGI the delivery, the HU appears again in VL03N. I am not able to understand this strange behavior.
    I have tried all FM's like bapi_hu_delete etc, but they delete teh HU completely which is not my req. I heard abt this FM BAPI_HU_DELETE_FROM_DEL, but am workng in Ecc 5.0 and the FM doesnt exist.
    Pls help
    Thanks

    Hemanth,
    I recall that we used to update the HU status as well when we dissociated HU from delivery,  though can't remember the reason now.
    Pls check the VEKP-STATUS for HU after you have done with these 3 FM calls, I believe you have to update the status to 'BLANK' with the help of some FM, try it first if it works for you by direct updating it in table in Dev.

  • Outbound Delivery Handling Unit HU material box pallet

    Business requirement.
    To create a delivery based on a sales order using a function module. To do this, users have an AbapWebdynpro application to collect data,
    Handling units for boxes and handling units for pallets are creates as the user packs his materials in the application.
    Items are packed in boxes and boxes on pallets.
    Problem description: cannot pack boxes onto pallets.
    I can pack items in boxes no problems. Delivery gets created ok.
    How i do it:
    Step 1:
    At the end of AbapWebdynpro process and validations, if no errors occurs, a function module is called to format the data and call fm to create a delivery.
    This part works as expected and is all ok.
    Step 2:
    Then in the function module that will create de delivery, header proposal is filled for boxes and pallets. itemproposal is filled for items in boxes and pallets
    Step 3:
    then,
    FUNCTION 'BAPI_HU_CREATE' is used to create handling units for items
    This part works perfectly for boxes and items but not for pallets.
    then, delivery create
    CALL FUNCTION 'SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PACKING_1'
    EXPORTING
    delivery = ls_createditems-document_numb
    commit = 'X'
    synchron = 'X'
    TABLES
    verko_tab = i_verko
    verpo_tab = i_verpo
    prot = i_prot
    it_handling_units_1 = i_handling_unit
    EXCEPTIONS
    update_not_possible = 1
    OTHERS = 2.
    This part works fine also if not pallets HU are present in the data .
    The problem is when i want to create a pallet and add the boxes to it. I have tried about every thing i read but had not much success.
    The only thing that came close to doing the job is the following code.
    First i create the delivery with boxes and materials only and with the following FM, i create the pallet and attach it to the delivery line but then i can not assign the boxes to it.
    ls_handling_units-top_hu_external = ls_packed_pallets-hu_pallet.
    ls_handling_units-top_hu_internal = ls_hupallet.
    ls_handling_units-venum = ls_huboxes.
    ls_handling_units-vepos = ls_packed_boxes-posnr.
    ls_handling_units-rfbel = lv_vbeln.
    ls_handling_units-rfpos = ls_packed_boxes-posnr.
    APPEND ls_handling_units TO lt_rehang.
    Step 4:
    CALL FUNCTION 'SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PACKING_1'
    EXPORTING
    delivery = ls_createditems-document_numb
    commit = 'X'
    synchron = 'X'
    TABLES
    verko_tab = i_verko
    verpo_tab = i_verpo
    prot = i_prot
    it_handling_units_1 = i_handling_unit
    EXCEPTIONS
    update_not_possible = 1
    OTHERS = 2.
    Is anyone succeed to create a program to create outbound delivery where materials are pack into boxes and those boxes are packed on pallets.
    Regards
    dstj

    If the delivery document PGIed then you need to do VL09 transaction to reverse the PGI document.
    Then do in VL02N transaction  select Delete handling unit assignment icon it will remove all the handling units from delivery.
    Later goto EDIT option then selct copy pack qty as dlv qty then save.Later system will allow you to delete the document.

  • Enhancement during automatic HU creation for outbound delivery

    Hi All,
    I need your suggestion / input on following scenario.
    When I create an outbound delivery and save it, an automatic Transfer Order is created and at the same time an HU is created for delivery.
    Now, I want to populate the field EXIDV2 of table VEKP ( HU header table ) with a specific logic.
    Can anyone suggest a suitable EXIT or BADI or Enhancement point where I can populate the field VEKP-EXIDV2 ?
    Note: I have tried using EXIT_SAPLV51S_001, but it is not helping in my case. Because it is called only when Transfer Order is created manually (LT03), but is not working when TO is created automatically after saving the outbound delivery.

    HI,
    You can use the BADI BADI_HU_MAIN and the method HEADER_UPDATE_IN_PACKING.

    Step #2  I assigned the HU to my Outbound delivery by updating VPOBJKEY and VPOBJ field of VEKP table. QUERY.
                    This also successful. I am now able to see the HU attached to the Outbound delivery.:)
    Step #3  But I am not sure how to do the packing/ Assign Serial numbers.  Need help?

  • Packing two HU's - Outbound delivery

    Hi,
    I am creating a RF transaction to merge two HU's with same delivery.
    I want to merge two HU's with packing object 01 - Outbound delivery and same delivery.
    I don't want to create a new HU, but merge one HU into another ie, add the source HU line item to Target HU.
    I have used BAPI_HU_REPACK Function Module but it was giving an error "HU &1 is assigned to an object that cannot be processed here", where I have passed HUKEY as Target HU and in REPACK table passed the values of Source HU with FLAG_PACKHU as 'X'.
    Is there any problem in sending the data.. or else i need to use a different Function Module. Please suggest me.
    Thanks in advance... Waiting for ur reply.

  • How to compare delivery date in schedule lines and PGI in outbound delivery

    Hi,
    I want to create a report to monitor and compare different dates in sales and delivery process.
    One of my key figure is the comparison between date confirmed to the customer, that I can find in the schedule line of the sales order, and the actual goods issue date from the outbound delivery.
    But I can't succeed in making the link between delivery and schedule lines, means between LIKP and VBEP.
    Would you have any idea?
    Thank you.

    It seems there's no exact (table) connection / link between delivery item and schedule line item.
    Those who were searching for this thing (link / connection between delivery item and schedule line) were recommended to use FM "RV_SCHEDULE_CHECK_DELIVERIES".
    This FM calculates the delivered quantity for each schedule line, so it makes link between the delivery item and schedule lines - however if you check the code it's quite sophisticated...
    (if you put a breakpoint in the FM and display a SO in VA03, you can check how the parameters have to be populated with data).

  • Stoarage location is not being reflected in the outbound delivery

    Hi
    I have a scenario of creating outbound delivery with respect to sales order, But when i am creating outbound delivery vai  tranaction Vl10H , The system creates outbuond delivery but the stoarge location is not being reflected in the outbound delivery  . Since this storage location is WM managed  hence the WM  status shows that the transfer order is not required .
    When i tried to put manually the storage location  the system  throws an error that this storage location in not maintained in plant R001 .
    Althoght the stoack has been there in the stoarage location with resepct to plant ans also  the matrerial master is also been extended for  this storage  laocation and all the respective views such as WM and Sales hasbeen maintianed .
    Could any one guide me what correction is to be done to incorporate the Storage location in Delivery ?
    Thnaks and Regards
    RAJ K

    Hi,
    did you check if there is a storage location determination maintained for the relevant combination of shipping point, plant and
    stor.conditions (table TVKOL)?
    Please also check if the storage location determination is activated for the relevant delivery item type in customizing (transaction 0vlp - field "Determine storage location" (V_TVLP-BELGO)).

  • Problem with IDoc for an outbound delivery

    Dear All,
    I am facing a problem with the IDoc defined for an outbound delivery.
    Scenario:
    Implementation of a small enhancement for an IDoc (DESADV, DELVRY01) created for an outbound delivery (in VL02N).
    What I did:
    I implemented the EXIT_SAPLV56K_002 exit in the V56K0001 enhancement, activated in SMOD, assigned V56K0001 component in CMOD and acivated it. Then I put a breakpoint on the ZXTRKU02 include. For me everything in SMOD and CMOD looks OK.
    I have also created a partner profile, port, outbound message config. (message DESADV, basic type DELVRY01, application V2, output message type LAVA, process code DELV. function module used for this process code is IDOC_OUTPUT_DELVRY).
    What I can do:
    I can issue an IDoc message, it looks ok and contains the standard data.
    Problem:
    It seems that the enhancement does not work. Finally I put there only one line of code to avoid a program bug and just to check . The system does not stop at the breakpoint (set on the ZXTRKU02 include in the EXIT_SAPLV56K_002 exit).
    Am I using the proper exit? I appreciate any suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Grzegorz Skorus

    Hello Grzegorz
    Not an expert on this, but noone is responding so I thought let me try and help you. You seem to be doing the right things as mentioned in OSS note 1498409.
    Firstly since this can be called form Shipment Idoc also, you may need to make a differentiation by the interface parameter 'MESSAGE_TYPE' or segment name. See the attached OSS note, though it belongs to older releases,  it may help you.
    Also help says 'The callup of this function module is programmed for each enhancement of the internal table for the IDoc (in other words, when you add an extra segment'. So may be you need to add an extra segment/field to make it work.
    Futher  the user exits are replaced by BADIs. May be you should use exit_badi_v56k.
    Hope this helps and others will pitch in.
