Output Not Appearing in Exported .TXT File

Hi
I am using Crystal Reports XI R2, using Universe as a Data source, and Business Objects XI Release  2.Oracle 10G as a Datasource with Universe.
I am getting Correct Data, in Crystal  Report Viewer, But if i am making attempt to Export the Data to a .TXT File, it is not displaying tha Data as in Crystal Report Viewer.
1) In my Case we are Using Page Number Reset Option, which is working fine in Crystal Reports Viewer, but in .TXT file output, Page Number is not reseted.
2) We are Using Group Headers which has Text Objects and Formula Field,  the Group Header Displays for Each Group in Viewer, but same is not displayed in .TXT File output.
3) For Very First Group, In Viewer it Displaying Page No as 1,1,2,3.....(which is not Correct, it should be 1,2,3....), but in .TXT file Output, it Displays right One as 1,2,3......
But If iam Exporting the Report to an PDF File, it Displays Eactly as what is in viewer.
So Kindly Help me on this Issue.
Thanks

  • MiniTOC does not appear in translated source file

    I added a miniTOC placeholder to three of my topics. This is the first time I am using the placeholder.
    The English WebHelp project was sent for translation to French Canadian. I received the source project and noticed that the placeholder does not appear in the source file. Therefore, when I compile the output the miniTOC does not appear.
    The translation company is using the latest version of RoboHelp, but I am not sure what tool they use to translate.
    I have no clue how to resolve this issue. Sample code and screens are listed below.

  • Pictures not appearing on exported pdfs.

    Hi,I am exporting reports in pdf format. I have a picture on the report in the report group header. I used the graphics picture to put the picture on the report. When the script runs and exports the report to pdf files, the picture is not appearing on the pdf files. Do anyone have any ideas?Thanks

    HI Beat!
    There's an excellent post on Adobe's site that walks through the differences. It's at http://www.adobe.com/type/topics/info9.html
    However, I believe the caveat about Open Type fonts refers to their extended character set capabilities. You can still see issues with any font that is probably tied to the design and metrics of that particular font. The best course of action is to see if a font will perform under the watermark feature. If so then you're all set. If not—try a different font.
    All your fonts will appear in the dropdown menu. Adobe is most likely just calling on the OS to serve up its list of installed fonts. That shouldn't be relied upon as an endorsement that all of them will function properly in watermark. This is really more of a font issue than an Adobe issue. I have many fonts that just don't respond well in certain programs. And it varies by font and by program so its hard to blame the app more than the font.

  • Why am I not able to export NEF files to Photoshop from Lightroom to edit. This is new. When I right click on an image, the export to PS option is not selectable.

    Why am I not able to export NEF files to Photoshop from Lightroom to edit. This is new. When I right click on an image, the export to PS option is not selectable. I've never had this happen before. I haven't used it for a few weeks, so maybe there's an update (Mac or otherwise) that's screwing things up? HELP!

    I have an Edit In - Photoshop option, but not an Export - Photoshop option.
    Obviously to have right-click Edit In to work, the photo you're right-clicking on needs to be selected.  I assume this is not the problem, and that the photo is selected.
    Mavericks 10.9.3 has a problem where the Users folder is hidden, and you need to update iTunes to fix it, but it's been a few weeks since this happened so hopefully you're up-to-date and the Users folder isn't hidden anymore.
    If you can't get things to work, I'd uninstall LR and uninstall Photoshop, then install Photoshop, and update it, then install LR and update it, as a way to get any wayward security or other OS-level things reset.

  • Scroll bar does not appear in some PDF files. How can I enable it?

    Scroll bar does not appear in some PDF files. How can I enable it?

    Scroll bars are supposed to appear when needed.
    For example, scroll bars will appear when you zoom in on a page.
    FAQ: How to zoom in/out on a page
    Windows 8 automatically hides scroll bars after a few seconds of inactivity.  Scroll bars will reappear when you touch the screen and move your finger (on a Touch-enabled device) or move your mouse.
    Additionally, page navigation depends on the view mode (Single Page vs. Continuous Page).
    In the Single Page mode, you can swipe left/right (horizontally) or click the left/right arrow button with your mouse to go to the previous/next page.
    In the Continuous Page mode, you can swipe or scroll up/down (vertically) to go to the previous/next page.

  • Book title/cover page not appearing in exported file?

    Hello, for some reason my book title page on the exported file does not appear the same as my preview copy.
    On my bookshelf, my preview copy (which has a small 'proof' flash) has the cover design as produced in the Author app.
    I have exported the file for somebody else to check the contents of file, when they download and open the file in iBooks the file has a white cover with 'Book Title' on it, not the design that appears in the preview file.
    Many thanks

  • Is there any way to send output in BlueJ to a .txt file?

    I want to send the output of my BlueJ program to a .txt file. Is there any command to do it? If yes, then please tell me the syntax of that command along with an example using it?

    Again, you're just misunderstanding the tools you're using. Java should do that, not BlueJ. You have to research this from the perspective of writing Java code to do it. If you search how to make BlueJ do it, you won't find it because BlueJ has nothing to do with it.
    So you know your basic requirements.
    - you use System.out
    - you want that to go to a file in stead of to the command prompt / BlueJ console
    Do you know how to work with files yet? If not, that would be something you need to learn right now. And after that, try a Google for "java System.out file" and see what you get.

  • AS3: outputting trace() content to external txt file

    the question's in the title. ive got a swf but i've gotta run
    it on a nokia n800, which means trace() content will be lost and -
    boy! - do i need it!
    so how can i set my swf up to output its trace content to an
    external txt file?

    hello kglad
    well, not 'lost' thats misleading, sorry. i mean: the swf
    will be running on a browser outside the flash authorising
    environment so the output window won't be accessible, therefore i
    need a way of printing out the trace() output to another source.
    the help files say that trace() can output to the output window OR
    to an external txt file. only it doesnt actually go on to say quite
    HOW you can output to said external txt file, rather
    irritatingly..

  • Spaces are not and end of TXT file in 4.6.C

    Hi:
    I need to create a TXT file with a length of 240 characters, but spaces are not at end of file. I need them to export file to another system.
    I have looking for in forum  a solution for this problem, but solutions like using respecting blanks or cl_abap_char_utilities are not available in 4.6.C.
    I use GUI_DOWNLOAD function with all options but it does not work.
    Do you know a way to solve this problem in this release?
    Thanks in advance for you answers.
    Regards.

    Hello
    Please use the below code snippet to get the space in 46c.
    DATA: LV_space TYPE X VALUE '20'.
    DATA: LV_EXP TYPE C.',
    FIELD-SYMBOLS: <f_tab> TYPE ANY.
    ASSIGN LV_space TO <F_TAB> CASTING TYPE C.
    LV_EXP = <F_TAB>.
    Now LV_EXP will hold the ascii equivalent of space.
    Other option is to declare a constant and having the defaulting the value by holding the ALT + 0160 keys from your numpad.

  • Russian text not appearing correctly in excel file while needs to be mailed

    Hi all,
               I am sending vendor data to each vendor to their email id through excel files in a report. This report does not display any of this data.
    For this iam using the FM. SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1. The excel sheet consists of Russian text. This Russian text is not appearing properly in the excel sheets sent through mail. Some weird characters are appearing instead of the Russian text.
    I tried using "Translate" but its invain. I also tried to generate the report by logging into the system in Russian still i could not get proper text.
    Kindly help me in resolving this.

    Hi
    You mean to say that the table you have queried doesnt have a column called last_update_login right ? If its the case then what you did for debugging the error. Pls share it since i was also struggling with *<<<< needs to be declared abstract; it does not define the method setLastUpdateLogin() ..>>>*
    error.
    Thanks.

  • IMSS Min Normalized Measure not appearing in imsmanifest.xml file

    Hello,
    The IMSS Min Normalized Measure line is not appearing in my imsmanifest.xml file. It used to, but since I upgraded to Captivate 5.5, I don't see it anymore. I have thoroughly checked my settings:
    Reporting is enabled
    SCORM 2004/Manifest/Default is selected
    Report Status: Pass/Fail
    Report to LMS as: Percent
    Report Data: Quiz Results and Slide Views
    Reporting Level: Interactions and score
    Did Captivate 5.5 fix it so we don't have to add the minimum score into the zip file anymore? If not, how do I correct this so the line shows up?
    Thanks,
    Barb

    Hi Melody,
    What I've been told by Adobe is that Captivate 5.5 produces a different looking manifest file than previous versions of Captivate.  For our LMS (Knowlagent), we require this line of coding so that we can manually input the minimum passing grade in a course.
    Adobe said I could try to edit the default SCORM template to suit our LMS, but our LMS said it wasn't possible.
    So instead, our LMS told us that if we adjusted the line of coding in each manifest file, it would work. And it has (it's just a little extra work each time you publish).
    This is what you need to do:
    Find the below block of code in your imsmanifest.xml file and change the value for satisfiedByMeasure from false (default) to true.  Once that line is changed, in the same block of code paste in the minNormalizedMeasure line that was present in the file previously (both settings are highlighted below).  The .80 is what we chose as our minimum passing grade (80%) but you can change that number to whatever you want.
                                                                <imsss:sequencing>
                                                                                    <imsss:objectives>
                                                                                                         <imsss:primaryObjective objectiveID="PRIMARYOBJ" satisfiedByMeasure="true">
                                                                                                                             <imsss:minNormalizedMeasure>.80</imsss:minNormalizedMeasure>
                                                                                                         </imsss:primaryObjective>
                                                                                    </imsss:objectives>
    Hope that helps! Are you using Captivate 5.5 too? Which LMS are you using?
    Thanks,
    Barb
