Hi,
I get the following error in my DTP of a process chain:
Runtime error while executing rule -> see long text
Diagnosis
An error occurred while executing the transformation rule:
The actual error message:
Overflow in the operation :=
The error was triggered at the following program location:
System Response
Processing of this data record was cancelled
This issue seems to be because of the length of the target field being lesser than the source field.
Can you please let me know how this issue can be resolved since the DTP is added in a process chain?

As long as without knowing exact infoobject not easy to suggest direct solution.
Assuming as your loading data from PSA to Cube.
Go to your transformations, Menu Extras--> tabular overview, compare each source and target object length, need to be the same.
if any target object length is lesser than source field , that length need to increased.

Dear all,
We have implemented BI7.00 and have used data source "0EC_PCA_1" which loads data to the cube "0PCA_C01".
In one of our load from the PSA to the cube there were 14 lacs record which failed during the load to the target. The error message is as mentioned below.
"Overflow in the operation COLLECT - Message no. RS_EXCEPTION000".
Due to this error message, all the subsequent loads to the Target have not happened (due to request red in the cube).
Can anyone kindly mention the steps to correct the same and load the data to the target.
On analysing the error message, it pointed out to the start routine - this routine is also SAP standard - as per the OSS note 577644.
We tried to load the request again manually through the DTP but it throws the same error message and subsequent loads have not taken place to the target.
Experts suggestion and help required.

Thank you for the immediate response. Can you kindly explain about the first option i.e., "break the selection condition and load again".
The second option mentioned by you had been tried already and it doesn't work. I had reduced the size in DTP from 50,000 to 5 and also tried by increasing upto 99999 - but the same error is thrown.

Getting " Not enough memory for the operation error " in BOE

Hi,
We are using BOE 11.0.
we try to schedule a new report with multiple database logins for testing in BOE. When we run the report we are getting error like "Not enough memory for the operation error"
The same report has been executed successfully when we run using Crystal reports developer. The report is fectching less than 10K records from all the databases together.
Please let me know which is causing the issue and also let me know is there any limit in the number of databases connecting for a single report.

Sorry. I'm new to BOE. We know only scheduling the reports creating folders etc. :-)
I've seen one parameter "Maximum Cache Size Allowed (KBytes)" and the value for this parameter is 5000.
If we change it to a big number whether we can solve the issue ? Please suggest.

'The mobile phone rejected the operation' Error - ...

Hi,
Using E70 via Bluetooth. Everything works for sync etc.
When I click on contacts, it gives me the error 'The mobile phone rejected the operation' and does not allow me to view my contacts.
On occasions it will show the contacts, then something 'hides' them again and will then go back and browse the 'root' directory of the phone.
Im not aware of any security settings or such. At the moment, when I try and do something the phone asks to allow the connection, I do - but still nothing.
Any ideas?

I had a double-take on your message because I was 99% sure that your problem was related to digitally signed communications, but then you said no other Macs are having this issue.
This would lead me to believe the problem lies with the one Mac, however I suspect that digitally signed communications are still the cause. The reason is that I suspect your server also has File Services for Macintosh (SFM) enabled and that your other Macs are probably using that. By default if a user enters just "servername" in the Connect To Servers dialog then AFP will be used automatically. You're specifically trying to use CIFS (more commonly referred to as SMB on Macs).
Try this...
First, verify that your user still has the problem when using the connect string "smb://server/share" instead of using CIFS. If that doesn't work then...
Second, have your user trying entering "afp://servername" as the connect string. This will verify whether or not others are using AFP instead of SMB. Finally...
Have a look at this page on Microsoft's website. While it doesn't specifically address Macs, it does refer to SMB connections and digitally signed communications. This page also tells you about the policy on the server that needs to be disabled to allow Macs to connect via SMB.

After home sharing my pc and my ipad2 I still have no access to my songs from my iTunes on pc even though I signed in with the same ID on my pad2.what is the operator error I make?

I tried to find it out myself but even though apple is quite idiot proof I still manage my way around it.:-)
Found my apple IDs, my passwords, my voucher I thought I'd lost but to get my iTunes songs I have on my old pc onto my ipad2 I need a degree!
It seems that even though I clicked on home sharing and connected the device to the pc that nothing gets transferred.:-(
It gets better, I actually bought a MacBook air but my pc doesn't recognise the hardrive which I'd like to use for important files to transfer to my mac.
Now I have a knackered pc a pretty but empty mac no music on it but probably one click away!
Oh, did I mention that I have a kindle device but don't seem to be able to connect it to my iPad?
I know latest now you are laughing and suggesting to get rid of my technology and be better of living without any electricity to prevent me from injuries.
That's nice of you but doesn't help me as stubborn as I am.

Keep Receiving: Error is: 'Insufficient access rights to perform the operation' When running script

Hello. I have a powershell script I run in our domain to disable AD accounts. Part of that also removes the users from all AD groups. That part of my script however keeps throwing up this Error is: 'Insufficient access rights to perform the operation'
error.
Now from our Exchange server if I run this script with powershell, things work fine. But running it on the domain controller is when I get this error. Thoughts?

There can be some problem with tolerances set in the customizing.
In my case, I was getting this error because of delivery date variance. The difference between delivery date maintained in PO and invoice date was huge and hence the multiplication of price of PO and difference of delivery date was huge and that was the reason for error.
Similarly in your case also, there will be some tolerance limit problem.
Please check your tolerance limits set in customizing.

Does you guys enhancemented this program? I think if it`s standard code, it should give you a error message inform you "amount is too large" or something.
So double click this dump log, to check whether it is a custom code, if yes, to add "TRY CATCH" and give out a message.

Instead of directly assigning the value to xkomv-kbetr. Store the value in a temporary variable of type p length 13 decimals 2 . Multiply by 10^n to get the correct result.
Then assign the temp value to xkomv-kbetr.
Sample Code
DATA : lv_temp TYPE P length 13 decimals 2.
lv_temp = ( xkwert * 10^n ) / komp-mgame.
Then assign lv_temp to xkomv-kbetr.
To get proper value, you have to multiply or divide by 10^n .

Got this when I was trying to consolidate some referenced photoshop files. If failed to create a new version as well when I tried to open the files in Photoshop. I rebuilt the the library and it displays and exports both masters and version just fine, but it won't let me consolidate the master to the library.
What gives?

I think that error was due to the fact that I hadn't upgraded MAC OSX after installing it. I have done that now and now I get another error saying the masters are offline.
I found this old thread: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1965601?start=0&tstart=0 which seems to be the same problem. This is a whole other topic so I will start a new thread, but leave this in case anyone gets the same problem as me. Upgrade your OSX. That's the solution :-)

I have an iMovie project in iMovie HD 6.0.3. (Mac OS 10.5.8)
It plays, but I cannot copy the file (including saving it to a flash drive). I get either a message
"the finder cannot complete the operation because some data in [name of
iMovie file] could not be read or written (Error Code 26)" or the
message "A project file is missing. The file [name of the QuickTime
movie inside the project.dv] couldn't be opened and is being skipped."
This happened suddenly, I was able to save a backup version numerous
times while working on the project.
I followed some of Karl Petersen's advise on apple discussions. I opened
the package contents, and everything seems to be there. The source file
(original QuickTime movie) is there and can be opened and played. I
replaced the current project file with the backup in the package
contents, but that did not change anything. I was able to export the
movie timeline into a new project as a single clip, but would like to be
able to copy the current project.
