Overwrite image information box display

I want to insert a mouse over image into my Project. I think
I'm on the right track...Insert>HTML>Forms>Image Button
(Ok maybe the image button is not on the right track but it's a
start). I'm getting an informational box that says:
Overwrite "C:\Projects\IQS\Wizard icon png.png"?
Why does it do this and what is the correct response Yes or
No?

Hello again
Perhaps it will help to remove RoboHelp form the picture and
think purely in terms of Windows Explorer and files. Let's say you
have a folder named C:\Images.
You have another folder named C:\Projects.
You copy an image named MyImage.gif from C:\Images to
C:\Projects. The first time you do this, the image doesn't exist in
C:\Projects so it is simply copied.
Perhaps you try to copy the image again. This time you should
see a message that is basically saying Stop and pay attention! You
already have an image in this location that is using the same file
name as what you are about to copy. Are you certain?
RoboHelp is basically doing the same thing. It knows you
already have an image in the project that is using that name. So it
is having you decide upon how it should behave.
Unfortunately we can't tell you which action is appropriate.
Only you will know that for certain and here's why. Assuming you
have already used this image and you didn't change the image, you
are probably safe in allowing RoboHelp to copy the new image and
overwrite the old one. As I said earlier, as long as it's the same
image no harm will be done. But if perhaps you are using images
from multiple locations, maybe you found one on the web you are
wanting to use and it's named identically to another image you
already are using in the project, you would want to think twice
about proceeding. Because if you do, you will replace the first
image with the second and that can have some serious consequences.
Sorry, but without watching what you are doing first hand
it's a bit difficult to know how to advise. All we can do is to
provide generalities.
Cheers... Rick

  • I cannot get rid of an annoying blue box on an image link that displays from a hyperlink in my dbase

I have a hyperlink in my SQL database which displays from a recordset on my page. It has an image link which displays with a very annoying blue border around it.
Because it is not an image (as such), I cannot just select it and change the border to 0.
When I go to CSS, it just lets me set the border of the table it is presented in!!!
Can somebody point me in the right direction, Please!

Hi, this is the code I see in my view as an SQL statement calls for the link from the database:
    <td height="37" align="center" style="padding: 5px;"><?php echo $row_rsProducts['Buy Now']; ?>
              <td height="37"id="ShopButton"align="center"style="padding: 5px;"><br /></td>
Don't know whether I am doing it right but this is where I have put the code in the head section, still not working and got the grey border.

  • Some images do not display on E-Bay with FF 11

Running Vista. had no problems with E-bay using FF 10 or lower. some images will not display, and when a image that does show in the category, when selected, it does not display. I am running FF11 on my xp machine with no problems.
every thing on E-bay works with IE

It's not recommended to go back to Firefox 10 due to known security vulnerabilities. It's still available if there's no other solution.
Another standard diagnostic step is to try Firefox's Safe Mode to see whether it is caused by a custom setting or add-on.
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, restart Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode] using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the Safe Mode dialog, do not check any boxes, just click "Continue in Safe Mode."
If the images load correctly, this points to an add-on or custom setting or perhaps a saved password as the problem. A few things to work through.
If the site doesn't load correctly, we would have to consider other factors.
    Any luck?

  • There is no album artwork in the Multiple items information box for all albums

I have iTunes 10.0.5 and all my album artwork is present but when i bring up the Multiple item information box by clicking on an album there is no artwork there?
but there is artwork on the actual album. im wondering if this is why when im uploading music to the internet using FTP transfer the artwork doesnt come up next to the song name. It does with some and with others there is no art.
All the songs have ID3tags versoin 2.4 and have been converted to a MP3 file but still doesnt work.
Check this image to understand what i mean more.
So from the right itunes is showing an album with the album art, in the middle is showing the Multiple items information boc and on the left its showing my FTP with albumart work showing and some not showing?
    PLease can someone help

*Why is artwork not showing on my iPod when it's there in iTunes?*
iTunes will display a cover in many of it's views provided at least one track from the album has embedded artwork. The iPod appears to load only the artwork from track one to create the cover flow and album views which means that it can sometimes fail to display art for albums even when you can see the art in iTunes. Further, when tracks are played on the iPod, artwork is displayed if and only if it exisits in the currently playing track, so track one may show art while track two does not.
*How to find tracks without artwork*
To find all the tracks without artwork so that you can update them you can try http://www.stum.de/itunes-find-tracks-without-artwork/ for Windows or http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/scripts13.php for Macs. If you're using Google or other FWSE to locate suitable images they should be jpg's and ideally square, 320x320 pixels or above and borderless to give the best results in the various menus. If you have artwork for some tracks of an album, but not others, select a track with artwork, right-click (Option-Click for Macs) on the art & click copy, then select all the tracks of the abum, use CTRL-I or Option-I to *Get Info* and then paste the image into the artwork box.
    *Rebuild artwork cache*
Sometimes the artwork cache becomes corrupt and fails to show correct artwork, even when this is properly set up in iTunes. To rebuild the artwork cache, connect your iPod to iTunes. Locate the iPod in the Sources pane on the left-hand side, then select the Music tab. Remove the tick from *Display album artwork on your iPod*, sync the iPod, reselect the option & sync again.

  • Image information when hovering with mouse?

    Hi,
would like to display a text box when hovering over different images, showing image information (Image name, photographer etc). I.e. in the likes of the hyperlink text box that appears over hyperlinks.
Is this possible to do in iWeb?
    Cheers!

You can do that easily with iWeb SEO. If you're hosting your site at MobileME then launch SEO and click on the Load iDisk Sites button.
If you're hosting on a 3rd party ftp server you will need to publish your site to a folder on your hard drive and use the Open Website button.  Afterward the site folder will need to be uploaded using a 3rd party ftp client like  Cyberduck. You could use SEO to upload the site but users have reported less than stellar results with it.  Give it a try and if it works OK for you go for it.

  • Images are not displaying(PHP MySQL)

    Hi,
I've created a database table (MySQL) to store file path of images stored in a folder but the only problem is that the images are not displaying on the web page. Here's the procedure that I've used:
-Placed the cusor at the insertion point (div).
-Then selected 'Insert image' from the insert menu.
-Selected 'data sources' in the select image dialogue box.
-Selected the 'path' field in the recordset containing the image details of the images I want to display.
    -Then OK.
    Here's the code generated:
    <td colspan="3" nowrap="nowrap"><img src="<?php echo $row_rsBanner['path']; ?>" width="950" height="141"/></td>
Here's the client side code generated:
    <td colspan="3" nowrap="nowrap"><img src="C:/xampp/htdocs/Dirwebclient/banner3A_mod.png" width="950" height="141"/></td>
But the funniest thing is that if I pull the image as a background of the <td> (table data) it displays perfectly.
    Here's the code:
    <td colspan="3" nowrap="nowrap" background="<?php echo $row_rsBanner['path']; ?>" width="950" height="141"></td>
Can someone please give an idea of how I can pull the image using the <img> tag and not as a background.

    Here's the source code from the browser for pulling the photo;
    <td height="126" colspan="3"><p align="center"><img src="C:/xampp/htdocs/Dirwebclient/banner3A.png" alt="jpeg" width="950" height="124" /></p></td>
    And here's the source code for the whole page (It's quite long because I had not yet mastered CSS);

  • 3.1 Bug? - Images don't display properly after upgrade to 3.1 from 3.0

When pages are displayed after the upgrade, the image appears the first time the page is opened. Once a user goes to another page, then come back to the page with the image, the image is no longer displayed.
This happens when the browser is set to "Check for newer versions of stored pages". When it checks for the new version, the image is not displayed.
This looks like a Bug? Is someone working on a fix for this?
    Thanks.
    - Scott

    Scott,
Thanks for this information. It is very helpful. May I put you through one last contortion, please?
I would like to see what information is being passed in the HTTP header in the request for one of these broken images. If you have Live HTTP Headers or Firebug for Firefox, or Fiddler for IE, this should hopefully be easy. You don't seem technically challenged in the least, but just for the record, here's what I did using Firefox:
    1) Ran the Timesheets application
    2) For the very first icon on the left "My Timesheets", I right-clicked my mouse and chose "Copy Image Location"
    3) I opened up a new tab in Firefox and pasted the URL and then hit enter to retrieve the image
    4) I turned on Live HTTP headers and then clicked Refresh in my browser.
I am most interested in the If-Modified-Since HTTP header. The full request on my system was:
    GET /pls/apx11c/wwv_flow_file_mgr.get_file?p_security_group_id=191046216955701077&p_fname=eba_timesheets.png HTTP/1.1

  • Images Do Not Display on Signature Reply Emails _ Outlook 2010 Professional

I created a company signature which display fine when sent, however when replying to an email the signature shows up with out any of the images.  There are simply blank squares where the images should be displaying.  Can anyone help me resolve
    why this would be happening?
*Would the device (i.e. iPad) one is viewing the email on be the reason for the issue?
    Thanks,
    Julia

    Hi
As per the information and details provided by you, outlook 2010 not showing image in signature during replying emails, to solve this problem please follow these steps:
You mentioned that you are using a device, i.e. iPad.
Mobile device supports only Plain Text and that’s why the signature image is not showing in your emails.
If your picture contains crucial information which you really want in your signature. You can
customize your Plain Text version of your signature to include that information in a typed form instead of as a picture.
HTML format is capable of displaying different kinds
of font style as well as graphics like a logo.
You can set the email format on the
Format Text tab of an email message window in Microsoft Outlook 2010.
I hope this information will be helpful for you.
    Thanks and regards

  • Can you change the colour of an 'image' bounding box?

This concerns bounding boxes not 'strokes'.
Is it possible to customise the default colour of a bounding box around an image?
I know that the default 'rectangle image frame' matches the Layer colour (eg: Layer 1 - Light Blue, with an the image bounded by a brown box) which is easily changed by moving it to another layer (eg: Layer 2 - Red, which displays an image bounding box of Cyan). What defines the colour of the bounding box of an image that is placed inside the 'rectangle image frame' and can it be changed?
I have no real necessity to change it, I just wondered if it was possible?
    Steve

I'm not sure you understand the terminology.
The bounding box is an imaginary rectangle that encloses the shape of an object or group of objects. For a simple graphics frame this is the same size and shape as the frame and is poisitioned on the frame edge (and it's what you see when you select the frame). The bounding box is used for calculating object positioning. When dispalyed, it takes on the color assigned to the layer.
The frame edge is also fictitious. It's a screen display aid that can be tuned on or off to help you locate objects and also uses the color assigned to the layer. It corresponds to the path that describes the edge of the frame, so might not be rectangular (a bounding box is always rectangular).
The stroke is an attribute assigned to the path describing the perimeter of a closed object or the path itself of an open path. Stokes can be assigned a weight, color, and stroke style such as dotted or striped.
An image placed inside a frame has it's own bounding box, but not a frame edge or stroke. To see the image bounding box use the direct select tool to select the image inside the frame. If you crop an image so it is larger than the containing frame, or or enlarge the frame so the image does not completely fill it, you can see the differnce between the bounding boxes very easily. The color of the image bounding box is also tied to the layer color and is not editable by the user.

  • Alias to Image does not display image preview icon (Regression!)

I noticed that an alias to an image no longer displays the underlying image preview in the icon, instead you get the standard "JPEG" icon.
I have turned on icon previews (since other images in the same folder are correctly displayed) and all that. Also if you press Space on the Alias, the fancy Preview window will open and show the correct image. The icon however is dead. I've tested this with many images and with both OS created Aliases and using "ln -s".
This seems to apply to all kinds of alises that in the past would show the icon of their parent, not only images.
The alias "arrow" overlay is enough to inform the user that the file is an alias, there is no need to display the standard "JPEG" icon, that is so passé.
    Not very leopardy.

The same thing appears to be a latent bug from Tiger -- I am seeing this in 10.4.11, and as Rob notes, it's not always consistent.
What's worse, Rob's suggestion won't work for me... because the "Select New Original..." button is greyed out! I realize this is technically a Leopard thread, but I can't imagine this was deliberately changed between 10.4 and 10.5, so I would think it would be applicable pretty broadly.
Any ideas or suggestions would be very welcome indeed.

  • Missing Images Grey Box with ?

Have tried drills to view inserted images in 4-page Pages doc, going thru Finder to view, reinsertion of images, trashed com.apple.iwork.Pages.plist,,reinstalled iworks '05 CD, upgraded to 1.0.2, read copious discussions from gurus, still no joy. Images I inserted still there, elusive as ever which remain hidden with that ugly "X" and "?" when reopening doc. Am Mac addict from day one, average Mac user, not tech guru, programmer, developer but need step by step instruction for my low-level 83-year-old comprehension. Pages works o.k. with glitches but the missing image grey box with X and ? reared its ugly head last April and still with me on occasion. Finish 4-page Pages monthly Newsletter 5 meg doc with about 15 inserted jpeg images, "save as" for local distribution printing plus "pdf" for e-mail transmission, print it but when reopening doc after closing I get the grey box with X and ? for my inserted images and have to start over. Images I inserted originally still there opening thru Fiinder viewing "Package Content". Ran G5 Hardware CD test, no problem. From discussions I noted one solution that worked by uncompressing "index.xml.gz" file. Tried that with Stuffitt which didn't work. Am unable to view to see if my images were corrupted as the Discussion Guru "Sylvain Pedneault" outlined on Sep 15, 05, that his images had property sf:corrupt="true". Could be that's my problem if I knew how to determine and fix. I've hit a firewall and am patiently waiting for Apple Pages gurus to resolve this issue still unresolved which I'm confident they will, but at my age I don't buy green bananas. My frustration level is maxed out and will appreciate help in simple step by step language as a work-around until Apple Pages comes thru with upgrade. If I make it thru the Pearly Gates, not guaranteed, I'll put in a good word for the Guru who can resolve my problem!! Thanks.

    Hello Jim,
If you want to uncompress a "index.xml.gz" file, try this way:
    a) Copy the "index.xml.gz" file to your desktop, so you are not working with the original file.
    b) Start from "Applications/Utilities" the program "Terminal".
    c) In the terminal window, type: gunzip (with a space after it).
    d) Grap the "index.xml.gz" file from the dektop and drop it over the terminal window.
    e) Hit the return key.
Now you have a "index.xml" file, which you can open with a text editor.
To compress the file, do the following:
    a) In the terminal window. type: gzip (with a space after it).
    b) Grap the "index.xml" file from the dektop and drop it over the terminal window.
    c) Hit the return key.
    The file should be compressed.
To make the template readable for Pages, do the following:
    a) Copy the original "index.xml.gz" file from the template package folder (not to the desktop) to have a backup.
    b) Now copy the "index.xml.gz" file from the desktop (the one you have edited) to the template package folder and overwrite the original.
Please let us know, what you find out.
    Frank.

  • User Uploaded Image won't display on Mac OSX

I am experiencing something very strange with user uploaded
images on Mac OSX, latest Debug Flash Player 9, Safari and Firefox
    2. Everything works fine on Windows (XP and Vista) on all major
    browsers.
A user selects a local image to upload. The file gets
uploaded to server, resampled, saved to a public location, and a
response is sent back to the Flash Player in the form of a JSON
object. The response contains the URL to the uploaded image on the
server. The Flash Player downloads the image and adds the Loader to
a sprite that is already on the stage. All appropriate events are
fired. The progress events show that the image is downloading, and
the complete and init events are both fired. Using the Charles Web
debugging Proxy I can verify that everything is working correctly
(upload and download), and no security violations are occuring.
Charles even shows the actual image that gets downloaded. However,
on Mac, the image doesn't display (stays blank, as if it's an empty
sprite), whereas on PC/Windows the image displays fine.
I have placed a crossdomain file in the appropriate location
    - even though it is never requested as I don't try to do anything
    with the image's bitmap data.
Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to create a new project
to test this out in, but will do as soon as I can, and post a link.
    Any ideas?
    Many thanks,
    Shaun.

We had a similar problem, maybe it is related to this (it was
done in as2, but the real problem was outside flash)
flash took an enormous time to display thumbs for a gallery
of images.. and directly in ff on osx, the thumb (about 100x100 px)
would load only half way.. and again wait for about half a minute
or more.. and then display. In flash the thumb would remain blank
until the loading was over.. that is for about half a minute or
    more.
What this turned out to be, was that the php script on the
server somehow returned header information that the image had the
dimensions of the full-sized image. So after all the data for the
thumb downloaded, the client (browser or flash) would just wait
    until a predefined timeout..
Since you are resizing uploaded images I thought this could
be one of the possible reasons, maybe the flash player for osx and
for windows handle such "missing data" cases differently.

  • Altering the information box in windows explorer`

I was wondering if it was at all possible to alter the information box in windows explorer. I am talking about that little box that pops up when you place your pointer over a folder and let it sit there for a second. Currently it displays the first few files and folders, but I want to alter that so it would display the first 10 or 15 files or folders. Can anyone help with this?

Java does not alter Windows' ToolTips.
Check Microsoft/Windows resources/forums for possible solutions.

  • When opening a Word document... an option box displays which I placed a check to 'Do this automatically...' but when redoing same process... option box display.

We're using EBS application that has a option to open/create download Word document. When we use Firefox v30 to open a Word document, a option box displays to inform where the document is to be open and/or save and a check box which is unmarked... which states... 'Do this automatically for files like this from now on'. I've checked the box and clicked 'OK'. I also checked Firefox options to the application and I checked and verified the Word document settings to 'default'. What happens after re-checking the process to open a Word document... the same open option box displays again... the check box is engage though. I would think that after selecting the box... this display box will not display but directly open the Word document. Please let me know if there is another setting or suggestion.
    Thanks,
    Wil

    The server must
    * Send the correct Content-Type header (e.g. ''application/msword'' MIME type).
    * Not send the ''Content-Disposition: attachment'' header.
You can use the Web Console to examine the response headers for the file request in question and see if the above two conditions are met.
    * https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Tools/Web_Console
If they're not, the workarounds are the Force Content-Type and InlineDisposition add-ons, respectively. I don't know if Force Content-Type still works though.

  • Help with image query and display

I want to show clients a few proofs. I've created a dropdown
list of Projects. That calls a CFC query to search for the related
image names within the DB. The images are stored locally/within my
Flex Application File Folder Structure. After querying the DB I
need it to return the list of images, and then display them from
the folder location. Can this be done and how? So far I can't even
get my CFC to return an Alert.show(imageList).toString(); So... I
missing something somewhere. I had to change the returntype to
query... but I've got a variable set as an imageList:image;??? Any
help or comments would be greatly appreciated!

The validator gives sound information about most
    non-compliant code. For
example, the No Doctype error is an easy fix, and will
    eliminate many of the
    others.
Have you done anything to fix the problems ? Take the errors
    one at a time
and please let us know each one you have difficulty with. You
    will have to
learn some CSS to resolve some of the "errors".
