OVS Buttons with wrong Label on Portal

Hello,
I have a Web Dypro application that uses an OVS. The OVS works fine and looks fine when I test on my locally installed Application Server.
But when I run the application on the Portal ( the OVS opens fine and does its functionality) the OVS Button "Go" does not have the text "Go" written on it, it has the text "view.MainView.gr.c.tc.goSearch.text" written on it.
there is also an other button next to the "Go" button that i do not see when I run the OVS locally. This is the button "Exit" also with the wrong label "view.MainView.gr.c.tc.exit.text".
The portal team assumes that this behaviour is connected with a prior path, but they do not know exactly.
Can you help? Is it a Bug that was caused with a Patch?
Is it possible to fix/ override the button's texts?

I have opened OSS message for this but it is not touched for a month...

After patching our J2EE-Engine from Patch 640/17 to 640/19 a colleague has a strange problem using in a WebDynpro the OVS input help. Before we patched the engine everything was fine, but now the label of the buttons in the input help are gone and instead of the label (Start/Go and Exit) it shows
view.MainView.gr.c.TransparentContainer1.go.text
and
view.MainView.gr.c.TransparentContainer1.exit.text

the resource bundle seems to be this one:
com/sap/tc/webdynpro/components/ovs/wdp/ResourceOVSComponent
In the WD Content Administrator we can see the right value for the "Go/Start" button, but one thing is strange: After we patched the system, the OVS did show a second button (EXIT) and before we only had the "GO" button. In the Content Admin there are three keys for the resource bundle:
view.MainView.gr.Header.text
view.MainView.gr.c.go.text
window.OVSWindow.title

But shouldn't be there another key-value for the "new" button? Do we have to reload the resource bundles anyhow?

Encore CS6 - Bluray; some buttons with wrong color (precomposed White Wedding)

Yesterday, I've authored a DVD with the White Wedding template from precomposed. Everything is fine and ok!
Today, I started with the Blu-ray version of the same movie.
So, I created a new project, import the menu assets/menus/videos. Linked everything and created the Blu-ray-image.
All things are fine exept the buttons from the Scenemenu. In Encore, Photoshop and the preview from Encore, the buttons are black. But when I view it with PowerDVD they are grey.
On the Mainmenu, I've used the same buttons in black and they are black in PowerDVD. Same for the special features menu. It's also ok.
I've used this template a lot on Encore CS5.5 and never have a problem. But I need CS6 for the chapterplaylists (Blu-ray).
Strange thing is that the DVD is good but the Blu-ray version not.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction

The four buttons belong to Highlight group 1 and the other to group 2.
After more trying:
What I've done: Removing transparency from the Photoshop file. The four buttons are white (ffffff).
When setting the Selected state in Encore to 93%, there is a lot of transparency (looks much more than 93%) in the four buttons and the 'Heart-button' has no transparency. But when I go below the 93%, the heart-button becomes transparent and it looks that the transparency from the four buttons didn't change. The stay very transparent and grayish.
But in Encore all looks good.
Edit:
When I set the transparency in Photoshop to 93%, I got also transparency on the four buttons and not on the Heart and next/prev buttons. I can even go to 92%, but below that, the buttons are messed up.

A button with more than one label... how?

hi everyone!!
i have a little problem... i have to create a button with 3 labels... and i've no idea about how... i tried to add labels to button but it's not permitted... plz tell me how to reach a result like this:

Creating a button with a text label layer

Hi guys. Looking for any tips on how best to implement a button with a text label. I initially created a rectangle object on a lower layer and with text in the upper layer via type tool. When I group both objects and create the button the text is readable in my InDesign (document) computer screen but the minute I preview it on my iPad the button becomes unreadable and pixellated. I tried various approaches by moving the text layer outside the button group does not display the text at all. Has anyone run into this issue? If so what is the best practice? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the insight Neil. Regarding my button design its nothing fancy. Its a rectangle box on one layer and a text label on another layer inside the rectangle object. What I'm trying to simulate is when the user taps on the button the click state will change colour to notify the user that they have activated an event and in this case a navto://...
The way I've implemented it is the rectangle is coloured pink [Normal] and when tapped the light pink [Click] toggles between both colours BUT my text label disappears.

if the player goes to the school she will find the teacher, and if the player goes to the beach se will find the coach.
How can I make the player (for example) talks to the teacher at school, returns to the main map, and goes to the beach to talk with the coach, yet if she goes to the school again, the dialogue with the teacher won't be the same with first dialogue?

point=0 should be the entrance to "dialogue1", but all I can get is "dialogue2"...

PSD Rollover Button with image in front stops button from changing state

I have a wide PSD button that changes state when rolled over. I would like to place a PNG image with transparency in some areas over the top of it so that the rollover button shows through the transparent areas of the PNG.
How can you get it to do the rollover effect when the user mouses over the bit of the button that the image is in front of? Is ther a way of making the PNG 'invisible' to the mouse?
I know I could redesign the button so that it includes the image but I'm trying to keep file sizes and load times to a minimum, I use this button a lot on my website with a different on each, and having that number of individual buttons would result in a bloated, slow-loading website.

Thanks for your reply. I was able to achieve the effect I wanted by having the PNG and the PSD Button with the same link and then grouping them. This means I can mouse over the PNG and still get the PSD rollover effect, which is perfect.
However I also have another similar problem. I have some different PSD Rollover Buttons which have some text in front of them (basically it's the button label). On some of these buttons when you roll over the text it prevents the rollover state of the button, and on other buttons the rollover effect occurs as it should, and there doesn't appear to be any consistency about which does what. Grouping or ungrouping doesn't appear to make a difference. Can you help?

You'll, according to the readme generated by your C3PO Wizard, have to run
Regasm.exe <your C3PO server>
That will create the needed regkeys...
Also, you might have to add the typelib wrapper and assambly to the GAC, bu typing:
Gacutil -i <your C3PO server>

Get keypresses from SVGForm with only label components.

I have a Screen class, extending SVGFORM, with only labels in it.No buttons or spinners and the like.
The SVGForm is displayed and on clock ticks, I change the label strings (telling time). So no input facilities.
The SVGForm has commands, Exit and pause.
The SVGForm is on its own thread, being Runnable.
all works nicely, but:
I need to act on the user pressing the "FIRE" button of the handset.
How can I get at the key code ?
keyPressed() does not catch it, somehow...
one more:
I put the SVGForm on its own thread. The program starts with a splash screen, then an input form to get some variables and then the clock screen starts and keeps running, that being the sole purpose of the program. When the clock is stopped , the program may exit. Is a separate thread for it necessary/a good idea ? or shouldn't I be bothered with threads at all ?

I have ended up with something that seems to be working finally.. it's very inspired by robotlegs probably.. I found the SQLite robot-legs-addressbook example extremely helpful and borrowed large swaths of code from it; it was really tricky for me to figure exactly what was doing what (especially because I wasn't aware yet of some of the finer points of debug mode and that thing where you cmd+click and it goes right to the function definition).. I got it working by adding handlers as arguments to the add/update/modify functions..
in the model:

Probably a little less decoupled than robotlegs.. which I was looking at a bit based on its use in SQLRunner and addressbook, and was quite tempted, but I was on a tight timeline and it seemed very daunting up front; I didn't find a strong enough handhold on it, even though on paper it seemed like exactly the solution to my problems.
I will have to write model classes for some specific views to get the basic information out, but now that communication's going on everything seems a lot more attainable.

We ran into the exact problem when opening a PCR form from the "Status Overview" iView in MSS.

This applies if you have one of the following versions and an iView is launched in a new window:
- NW04s SP15

Then the ethernet is not getting an IP from the TC.. there is no connection.
I am not sure where you mean when you say the green LED should be on. Do you mean the TC?

In order to help troubleshoot ethernet connections all routers use connectivity leds.. even APPLE.. it has one big LED on the front.. and 4 tiny leds beside each ethernet port. That light has to come on for ethernet to be active.. if you plug an ethernet cable into the port and the light doesn't come on.. then there is no connection.. either the other end isn't plugged in.. or the cable is bad.. or the ethernet port is bad.. something is wrong.
To get access to the TC you need this led to be green.. is it?
If it is green and the WAN is also green.. then I want you to unplug the WAN connection.. the blue wire in the picture.. the port slightly separated from the 3 LAN port.. computer plugged just into LAN port.. no airport turned on.. and press the reset again for 10sec until front led flashes rapidly.. then try and bring up the airport utility again.. assuming the ethernet led is green.
How old and what model is the TC?
The A number from the rubber mat will tell us the model.

Trying to make a button with a drop zone

Since I can't find any of the template buttons that look the way I want, I want to make a simple button that includes a drop zone for an asset, a label, and a highlight. I am trying to make a chapter index menu. I can do it using the automated method and using a customized template - but I cannot find buttons that look the way I want. All I want is a simple rectangle, with the label underneath, and a highlight line under the label. There is one like that in which the asset is black and white (RectRoundEdgesBlue.pox), but I want one that is in color. Is there any way to do this?? I have studied some of the Photoshop tutorials, but I am missing how you put a drop zone in.

I have done some changes suggested by ATD for another thread.
In your app, through Shared Components, Templates create a new button template based on a copy of an existing one (pick whichever existing template you prefer, the normal Button may be ok). When the new template is created, edit it. You should see something like the following in the "Template" setting:

There may be other HTML around this, but this is the important part as it is the actual button itself. Change this to:
a href="#" class="t12Button" #BUTTON_ATTRIBUTES#>#LABEL#</a
Now, on your button on the page, change it to use your new button template. In the Button Attributes setting, add in:
onclick="javascript:checkText();"
everything works fine except appearance of button.

Rollover buttons with unexpected results

Hello Folks,
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction with a
problem I'm having with rollover buttons.
I've used Fireworks to create five rollover buttons with
round corners onto a single transparent canvas. I've exported the
images as gif and then pasted the relevant code into Dreamweaver.
I'm getting two results that are puzzling me.
1. The images are not being displayed with transparent
backgrounds, as you can see at this url:

The corners are showing which is not what I want. I notice that
there are four types of gif than can be exported when making
rollovers. So far, I've tried using Gif adaptive 256 and Gif
Websnap 256 with no success.
2. The second puzzle is that including the javascript code
seems to have increased the top margin for the background of the
page. If you compare the page before any code is added, you can see
the difference:

transparency.

Separator page prints out with wrong name when printing from Outlook 2010

Working with Windows 7 Enterprise, Outlook 2010. We've set up our desk printers to print a separator page with the user's name, as several people use the same printers in our building. Printing from IE, Word, etc. all work fine, and it'll print
out the correct username on the separator page.
When anyone attempts to print an Outlook email, it instead prints out my username. We've found that it doesn't happen if they click on the "quick print" button, but it happens every time if they do "file > Print" or Ctrl+P.

As per the information and details provided by you that separator page prints out with wrong name when printing from Outlook 2010, please follow these steps: -
To create a custom separator page file, use a text editor such as
Notepad. On the very first line, type one single character, and then press
Enter. The character on this line defines the character used as an escape character. For example, the following list assumes that this character is the at sign (@).
Enter the escape codes for the functions you want, and then save the file with an .sep extension in the Windows System32 subfolder.
In the Print Manager, select the printer that you want to use the separator page file with, and then click
Choose Properties on the Printer menu.
Click
Details, specify the name of the desired separator page file in the
Separator File box, and then click OK.
Note:
Put the custom separator page file in one of the following locations:
In the %Windir%System32 folder.
In a folder whose path contains a SepFiles folder. For example:
Drive:\Folder\SepFiles\Subfolder
