I see this certification exam sources questions from 28+ reference books. Experience apart, going through these books (at least once) will surely improve the pass percentage of all the participants. How do we source these study materials. Currently i possess few of themand looking for rest of them. Any information / sharing books will be a great help to me. i give below the list of books required to refer and the one that i have. i know few guys with good experience have failed badlly , hence the care.

I have seen (from below weblink) that Syllabus for this cerfication as Olny one pdf "BW310"

Hi,
This is a very fresh exam and probably that page is not fully updated.Check that page some time later or ask certification services in SAP for details.If you take a look at the associate level exam,its page updated.

I am Atush Rohan, I have done my "SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.0" on 3rd April 2009.
I want to appear for "SAP Certified Development Professional - ABAP System Interfaces with SAP NetWeaver 7.0". I have about 3 and half years or experience in SAP ABAP. And I plan to give this certificate exam in the coming 6 months.
Could you please tell me how i apply for this exam, and whether SAP provides the certificate material for the exam "P_ABAP_SI_70". Waiting for a positive reply.

hi,
actually you can find your sid on your certificate itself ... your sid will start with SXX .. ok now along with this you will receive an envelope in which there would be an letter where detalis regarding your sid and password for login access in sap market place will be stated... so you can login with that in server market place.... usually you get this along with the certificate and is being provided by the centres authority... now if you have not received it so you need to contact your centre and tell them to give it to you... if they dont barged then you can ask them for the concern guy's email .... this guy is the one who receives all the documents relating with your certificate .. now this guy is someone from sap labs banglore ... also if you have not received your id card so you can mail him or tell your centre authority in that case now usually the centre guys take the matters lightly ...
ok and as far as your certification exams goes i did search the pearson website they really dont have that professional certification for the abap guys but they do have one for functionals and some other....
ok now you need to approach yout nearest certification centre in that case and simply ask them that you need to appear for level 2 certification also you can contact the sap labs banglore in that case but i know that they are not responding .....
so in that matter you tell your centre that you need to schedule the certification they will charge you the certification amount and then will schedule the date..... yes they can do that.

You just need to have an overview knowledge of the ABAP fundamentals as you mentioned about:
ABAP Debugging, Business Workflow, ALE/EDI/Idoc, Forms (Smart Forms/SAPScript), Authorization and Roles, Data Migration Transaction Variants,Analytics and Reporting, Foreign Trade (Foreign Trade in ERP, Global Trade Services), Programming in SD.
You will be able to get basic SAP Help on these topics on SDN or google.
Foreign trade would include export sales.
Analytics & reporting would include SAP Query and LIS based reporting(std & flexible analysis).
ALE/EDI/IDOC would include communication with other systems.
Forms include output data, you really dont need to know the way it is coded, just std assignment like NACE(output determination), etc.
Authorization & roles would include segregating responsibilities across different ppl in a big organization.User profile, parameters and other basis related logon objects refere to thi.
Data migration is uploading and moving of data through BDC & LSMW's from flat files to SAP.
Programming in SD would be knowledge of SD related tables, user exits/badi's and workarounds(if std config doesnt work).

Certified Application Professional BI EDW P_BIE_70

Wondering if anyone took this exam? I want to know if there are any hands on during the test? What kind of requirements to sign up for the test? and how tough/easy it is? Also, curious to know how is the value in BI world?
Details are highly appreciated?

The hands on is only for the Master Level exam and not for the professional level exam.
you should be certified as associate in order to take this exam.
There is not set syllabi for the exam unlike the associate exam where the syllabi was limited to the SAP Education material alone.
The courses mentioned in the sap education site are only guideline courses but the questions are expected to be tougher than the associate exams.

Large difference in the two levels. You need to look at the proper forum here on SDN, and got to SAP site and read the differences in the knowledge levels expected for Associate and Professional. If you're a WebDynpro and WebServices wizard, know some SOA and fluent in OO should have no problems, but you really need to look at the exam content and weighting in SAP certification documentation.

the "Professional"-Certification is very very hard - during my last Certifcation Exam, all candidates with the Pro-Exam failed (I was so glad I chose the normal certification...)
Here's how to book your exam:

Figure out the exam code for your certification. Example: For the US, there is a downloadable list (PDF) of exams available, called "list of the available certification exams".

Hi Sushant,
Professional Certification course will cover questiones related to Business scenarios and Basic fundamentals which you have experienced during your implementaion or support experience. Associate level questions will come straight from SRM 210,270 pdf.
There is no criteria for Certification except if you are engaged with some organisation than you must have completed 1 year in that organisation.
After 3 yrs of experience, You can appear for Professional Certification. My suggestion will be to go for Associate first and than Professional in next 1 year.

I am looking to work towards the HANA certified application associate certification. Is there a study guide available or will be available? I was only able to find one for the 2013 edition, and I m not sure if that is sufficient studying material for the 2014 edition.

Integration with SAP order fulfillment?

Hi, forgive me in advance for my ignorance and high-level questions in this post. Though I am a good programmer, I have never used SAP before and am trying to learn as much as I can as quickly as I can.
I am the founder and director of technology of a small nonprofit, www.sirum.org, that uses an online platform to streamline medicine donation from manufacturers and hospitals to community clinics that serve the uninsured. We recently had a big break through with a number of large manufacturers that they would transition their current proprietary donation software over to us in order for us to develop a cross-manufacturing donation solution so clinics didn't have to deal with each company individually.
The catch is that I believe most if not all of these companies wanted backend integration of our service with their current SAP order fulfillment systems. The webservice SIRUM is creating will have a clinic login to our site, order the medicine they need, tell each manufacturer how much of their drugs were ordered by whom, and then have a delivery request along with the clinics address sent to their distribution center.
I haven't discussed the integration component with them in anymore detail yet, but since I have never integrated a webservice with SAP - let alone even used SAP - before I wanted to get a sense of what a multiple manufacturer webservice integration would entail. Namely,
1) would we just create a WSDL with operations that tell the manufacturer how much was ordered?
2) Since we want the manufacturer to have little or no customization work on their end is there a way to also provide them an SAP program that then take information provided by our webservice and turns it into their ordering syntax.
3) Would this latter piece depend on what modules of SAP each manufacturer has installed, or does all order fulfillment use the same SAP module/solution?
4) Would a solution involve a lot of customization from manufacturer to manufacturer? Is there a way to minimize the amount of customization without sacrificing integration?
5) Do you guys/ladies have any good ideas of any features that could be added to the base functionality (sending an order of medicine from a clinic to a manufacturer and its distribution center for fulfillment)

If I'm understand your question correctly, you want to send the order you receive on your web to the manufacturer. Then manufacturer will create a sales order and delivery order on their side and deliver the good to the clinic.
In this case,
1,2) It would be better for you to send the order to them instead of creating the wsdl for them to call. There is a standard format EDI for sales order that SAP use to interface with legacy system. You cna generate the data in this format and send to each manufacturer so they can configure the system on their side.
3) The module is called SAP order fullfillment or SAP order-to-cash or SAP SD (Sales & distribution). It means the same thing just some people call it differnetly. SAP SD is the common one.
4) Surely there will be some effort for each manufacture to integrate their system with you. However, If you use the standard EDI, the effort would be minimal for the manufaturer that already implement this with other partner.
5) you can pass along the address in sales order. If the manufacturer system implemented SAP SD, they should be able to create sales order, delivery order and invoice from their side.
