Buen Día. Quisiera saber donde puedo obtener el update.zip de esta actualizacion, regularmente los respaldo sin embargo ahora que quiero restaurar esa actualizacion me manda error y mi tablet queda corrupta (no inicia) EL error es el siguiente: set_metadata_recursive: some changes failedInstallation aborted. Y ya no inicia. intente volver a alguno de los respaldos ateriores pero tampoco permite realizarlo dado que recibo el siguiente error: --Install /sdcard ...Installing update ...Package expects build fingerprint of Lenovo/LenovoB6000-F/B6000:4.4.2/KOT49K .......this device has Lenovo/LenovoB6000-FUpdate.zip is not correctInstallation aborted y de ahi ya no pasa. Por lo que supongo que los binarios que tengo estan corruptos. Hay manera de que pueda conseguirlos, o que puedo hacer para poder usar los que tengo? saludos y gracias.

[SOLVED] Package-Query build error

I'm trying to get my new Arch system setup, and I'm having trouble getting Yaourt installed. I can't seem to get package-query to build successfully. I have base-devel installed, and I've followed the instructions in the wiki on installing AUR packages. After running "makepkg -s" from the package-query directory it seems to go fine until the end, where I see this output.

And that's it. Not sure what I'm missing here.

Can I clean install a Windows 7 Pro System Builder on a Lenovo PC with Windows 8 preinstalled?

Hi. I would like to clean install windows 7 on a Lenovo PC that came with Windows 8 core preinstalled. I want to format the entire drive and remove windows 8 and clean install windows 7. I already tried the clean install of Windows 7 Pro to get all of my drivers in line, and now I would like to buy a Product Key.
Would a Windows 7 Pro System Builder work in my case? Would it work just as smoothly as a retail version? I understand that the System Builder is an OEM version that includes the Product Key, COA, and DVD) Just want to make sure before I buy the System Builder version of Windows 7 Pro. Thanks.

that should be retail since it seemed to be used for pc upgrades either way your new system builder key should work. those are called refresh because they re-released them sincea bug was found in thier installers. Do you have any key in the computer atm? or is windows just waiting to be activated?

Should you want to use the DVD images permanently, and don't own a product key yet, you can order a Windows 7 OEM or retail version from Amazon. The OEM reinstallation versions contain a DVD with a product key just like the retail versions. They are significantly cheaper, but lack a proper box packaging, and don't include technical support by Microsoft. The OEM key will work with the Digital River downloads, so you can just pick the cheapest one. Sometimes better editions are the cheaper ones, so all of the following links to Amazon offers might be worth checking. I've already tried to find good deals for all editions and linked to them here:

Building packages remotely / build server?

Hello.
I'm not sure whether this is the right sub forum to post to, so feel free to move my thread if it's in the wrong place.
My situation: I've got a fairly weak Asus EEE netbook (with a Atom N450 inside). This is obviously not ideal for when you want to build bigger packages, such as the Linux kernel. First off, it's pretty slow. Second, I'd like to use the netbook for stuff besides building packages. Third, having a high load over a long time is probably not healthy.
Now, I have a relatively powerful desktop computer. This machine can be on pretty much 24/7. So, here's my question: Is it possible to have makepkg build a package on a remote machine?
I imagine I would setup some kind of daemon listening to incoming connections on the desktop computer, and on the netbook side I would just "makepkg -si --remote xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" or something like that.
The benefit would be that you can build a optimized package for an older machine you have utilizing a newer (and hopefully better) machine, thus decreasing compilation time immensely.
Or maybe I could somehow get all the relevant flags etc. off of the netbook, make a Bash script on the desktop computer that setups the environment and executes makepkg? That would be fine by me. I'm guessing that's a slightly easier way to do it, as the flags are just some text strings.
If I recall correctly, I was searching on this matter a couple of months ago, and I found some old project (on the Arch Wiki) that would do exactly this, but I can't find it again. It didn't really seem to work, so maybe it was removed because it was useless information.
So yeah, this would be sort of like a "ordinary" build server, except that I don't need my own repository, and the flags wouldn't be safe/generic.

Unforunately I have a problem in which a package seems to not build for `haskell-json` on the AUR. The build terminates like so:

Perhaps you haven't installed the "dyn" libraries for package `text-0.11.3.1'?

However, I can actually confirm that this *does* build when I do it with cabal itself. For some reason issuing an indirect build via arch build system causes failure. Here is the output from `ghc-pkg list text`:

ER: Minimal ojdeploy package for build servers

Hi,
I'd love to see a minimal installation package that would install only what's required to run ojdeploy on a headless build server. Many development teams (if they're well organised :D) have a continuous integration server, which is often a headless Linux environment. I don't like the fact that to run a build requires a huge JDeveloper installation on your build environment - I think a smaller, ojdeploy-only type installation would be a great addition.
With the help of John Stegeman (and the JDevLibsForAnt plugin) I've gone the Ant route, but I think there are a number of complicating factors in the way JDeveloper manages project dependencies that cause real headaches for those attempting to create their own build scripts with Ant. Ultimately, I think using a standard tool to build and manage JDeveloper projects (Ant, Ivy, Maven, etc) needs to be made a lot easier. However if Oracle is going to prescribe ojdeploy as the only real option right now, I think it should be possible to use that tool without installing the entire, vast IDE.
Do those close to the ADF team have any thoughts on this?

Having just completed the drafts of some OTN articles on things like ANT and Build servers, I have to say that I partially agree with you, but not completely. My goal was also to be able to have a build server that didn't require anything to be installed from the IDE. When the articles are published (should be soon), you'll see that it was quite a large amount of work to set up and manage. Maven could help here somewhat, but that support is in its infancy as well.
Given that configuring build servers is a relatively infrequent task, I'm now starting to shift my thinking. I ask myself, why not install JDeveloper on the build server? Even if I have to install 4 versions (note that there have been 4 releases so far of 11g), that's what, about an hour to install them and maybe 6-7GB of disk space? The benefits I get - not having to manage all those JDeveloper libraries, not having to figure out what goes in each WAR/EAR file, etc, etc. If I try to manage this myself, I would have to somehow manage all the different versions of the ADF libraries by either putting them in source control (and wow is it fun trying to upgrade JDeveloper if you take that approach ;) ) or do the same level of management in Maven, which is a bit easier, but Maven support in JDeveloper is just now emerging, and not quite ready for prime time without some additional work, as has been discussed here on this forum before.
Believe me, I fully understand your point of view, as I came from that same perspective myself. I am now moving my thinking along and thinking that ojdeploy is a really good way of doing things. Yes, if we can get a stripped down install without all of the other bits we don't need (i.e. a WLS server, GUI, etc) so much the better, so I think I agree with your original ER, namely, can we have a stripped-down JDeveloper install with just the bits needed to run ojdeploy on build servers - it's a nice-to-have thing, although it's not all that onerous in my opinion to have to install the full JDeveloper (by the way, on my laptop, I have every version of JDev from 10.1.3.2 to 11.1.1.2 installed, together with a few odd installs of the OA Framework as well).
So, although I agree with your ER, I don't agree that ojdeploy is only viable for very simple situations. I noted some bugs where ojdeploy didn't work properly in the very first 11g release, but I havent had the opportunity to check whether it is fixed in the latest release (see [url http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=3878795]here)

I have modified the xml package found in Building Oracle XML Applications chapter 5 to exclude everything but the CLOB function, see Package below. When compiling the package body I am getting the following error.

Can you identify which MS Update package contains build 34238

We discovered that a recent update had broken some code and we're trying to pin down which update was the culprit. We have a fix, so that isn't the issue. The issue is that the software is being used by clients and we would like to warn them not
to apply the Microsoft Update until after they have applied our fix.
What I know is that Build 34209 runs the code with no errors, however machines with build 34238 (.net 4.0.30319.34238) has the issue. So, if anyone can let us know which update this build is found int, we can warn our customers.

I do not have any documentation off hand to identify which update package contains MSBuild 34238, however I would like to know is there any relationship with MSBuild? MSBuild is only used to compile applications base on the configurations, will MSBuild version
effect compile result?
Besides if you think the .net 4.0.30319.34283 is the issue, you could include some previous version of dll in your project package and use these dll instead of using system dlls.
Some of my research on the Internet pointed to KB3004394 (Not that sure), I would suggest you to have a check. But not sure, you may need to get a confirmation from:

[CONFLICT BETWEEN 2 PACKAGES] expect and expectk

All is in the title, when i try to install expect, it tells me that /usr/bin/expectk is in expect and expectk !
Also, the package xsmbrowser, which depends on expectk doesn't work on archlinux.
When i try to install xsmbrowser it install already expectk but when i try to launch xsmbrowser, it tells me "unable to load libexpect"
Then, if i force installation of expect, i can launch xsmbrowser but it doesn't works well : i can click on any button.
In my opinion, there is two possibilities :
first, remove expectk from expect package and add expect to expectk dependancies.
second, integrate expectk into expect package and replace expectk by expect into xsmbrowser dependancies.

Audio distortion issues on build 9926 on Lenovo Y50-70 Touch

I upgraded to build 9926 last night and was immediately met with a very loud distorted sound at login. I removed the Realtek driver 6.0.1.7195 and rebooted to allow Windows 10 to install the default Microsoft driver (10.0.9926.0) and experienced the same
audio issues.
I wiped my drive and did a fresh install of 9926 and got the exact same blast of noise. Every notification sound is extremely distorted. Installed the Realtek drivers from Lenovo (6.0.1.7195) and there was no change.
Any suggestions on resolving this issue?

UPDATE
If I plug in Headphones to the Audio/Mic jacks on the right side of the Laptop - All sound coming out of the Headphones is just fine ie Not Distorted like the speakers on the Laptop.
Not sure what this means but its a "Work Around" for now.
This option isnt available to me.
1) Fresh Install of Windows 8.1 fully updated with Windows Update and Lenovo Drivers - Everything works fine
2) Used Windows Update route to get windows 10 Tech Preview
3) After install and several reboots - Sound is broke.

Packaging Scene Builder with Netbeans ...

In the old world of Swing the GUI builder (matisse ?) was packaged and bundled with Netbeans.
In the new world of JavaFX it appears that "Scene Builder" is a standalone tool. Although, Netbeans can be configured to invoke SceneBuilder it appears to be a bit weird. . It's not clear as to why we have ended up with this new arrangement ?.

SceneBuilder works with lots of different IDEs and without an IDE at all.
I don't think matisse (?) did (though I never used it).
I think that's an advantage.
If you wished, you could file a request against the NetBeans project for them to co-bundle SceneBuilder.
The plan for NetBeans 8 (http://wiki.netbeans.org/EditorPlan80#JavaFX_2) has an item:
"Ongoing support of SceneBuilder interoperability plugin (?, ? days)"
I think the first question mark means no owner has been assigned the task and the second question mark means nobody knows how long it would take.

I can't get any of the AUR compiz packages to build.

I must be missing a build dependency or something. I've tried to build compiz-core-dev and compiz-core-git and I've tried changing the version number in compiz-core-dev to several versions that I know exist. I even HAVE compiz-0.9.5 installed already, so it did build at some point.
This is the error I get:

i see compiz-core-dev is out of date so you can't install it with yaourt.
if you change the version you have to change the sha1sums,
and maybe the depends versions as well.
i did it with mplayer before someone fixed the pkgbuild and it worked
for one of the newer version but not all of them.

Try replacing `sed -i 's/'-Werror'/''/g' Makefile` with `sed -i 's/-Werror/-Wno-error=implicit-function-declaration/g' Makefile` in the PKGBUILD. This won't fix the warning but the package should build.

Here once again a failed attempt after removing pacman-color. I am beginning to think that maybe running yaourt as sudo is probably a bad idea. I think that may have had something to do with it.

Quite confusing statements. Below sHyLoCk recommends http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=37738 on June 2 2010 and on June 27 he declares his recommended package obsolet and ask a TU to delete! The problem with the sHyLoCk package is there is not page setup option. Calling the packager as part of the automated build process

Hi,
Is it possible to call the iPhone packager via command line or ANT script? We are developing a pure ActionScript application, and as part of the build process for this app, we'd like to call the packager to build the IPA file.
Is this possible?
