Pad Zeros in user Exit
What is the syntax to pad a value with zeros in a user exit code.
I have a value of MONTH 01,02, 03...12. Then to get previous month I do MONTH-1 but this gives me 1,2,3...12. and I loose the zero which i will need when I concatenate with year to get what I need...

Can anyone give a perspective on the following issue:
We are using periodic valuation (ke27) and user exit EXIT_SAPLKEAB_001 in order to valuate COGS. There are instances where we have to zero our specific value field COGS for a material for all previous months of the year.The issue is that although we initialize the specific line items in the exit properly, no revaluation postings are made. When, instead of initializing, we give a specific value ( i.e. '0.01' ) the posting is made.

User Exit for Incoming Excise invoice capture(MIGO)-clarification
Hi all,
We are using mySAP ECC 5.0 version with CIN Configuration made. In this, if Excise Duty value is zero, then excise invoice pop-up should not come. But the system asks for it, and the user has to manually change the excise action as 'No Excise Entry'. To avoid this, we have a idea of using some user exit to do this automatically.
We have added the following source code in the user exit 'J_1I7_MIGO_DEFAULT'
IF CS_EXHEAD-TOTAL_BED = 0.
CS_EXHEAD-EXCISE_ACTION = '06'.

But, irrespective of the excise duty value(CS_EXHEAD-Total_BED) system determines the action as '06' i.e.'No excise entry.But still it asks for excise invoice also!!!
How to resolve this? Should some corrections should be made on this source code? or the option of 'pass values' needs to be selected in the user exit?

Hi Friends,
I have the following requirement and for this appropriate user exit/ badi should be needed which will trigger during saving of the shipment.
Cass shipment type (VTTK-ADD03) field needs to be required and should be automatically populated upon creation of the shipment document. The rules for populating the value (SO, ST, PO and RA) are as follows:
If any of the orders on the shipment are customer order types, then the CASS shipment type should be a SO,
If all of the orders are STO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "ST",
If all of the orders are PO orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "PO" , and
If all of the orders are customer return orders, then the Cass shipment type should be "RA".
I have tried with the 3 badi available and 7 to 8 user exit, but it won't work.

Sales Order Line Items User Exit - Credit Management/ Exposure Calculation
Hello Folks
I am looking for a solution to a peculiar problem we have in credit management.
In case of Drop Ship sales order life cycle, the system automatically creates two line items per sales order - one each for Freight and Handling Fees. these are NOT relevant to schedule line delivery, nor are they billed to the customer along with the material billing. The default update rule for credit control area concerned is 12. The system, on finding line items not relevant to schedule line delivery automatically switches from rule 12 to 18. This leads to Open Deliveries field (S067-OLIWW) being updated instead of Open Orders (S066-OEIKW) on saving the sales order.
Once the sales order is billed for the material, the system should logically display net value as zero for the open order (as the 2 lines of fees and freight are not yet billed, the order is still open). But the system considers this figure at SALES DOCUMENT HEADER level and considers the net value as the total value of the sales document (including the material that is already billed).
What I am looking for is if there is an exit available whereby the system considers only those line items whose billing status indicator is "not complete". As such, the net value should be updated to the S067-OLIKW field net of the billed items.
Please advise if there is any such user exit available. Also, is there a way to customize this? We are exploring this at our end, but would appreciate an expert advise. Right advise will be awarded with brownie points

Creating a Project to include the enhancement
1. Go to transaction CMOD and create a project.
2. Enter a description for the project. Then, click on the pushbutton Enhancement Assignments in the Application Toolbar.
3. Enter the name of the enhancement and Save.
4. Go to Components.
Creating Custom Include for ANLU
The screen shown below will appear, showing all the enhancement components under the assignment AIST0002. Double-click on the name of the Include Structure to create it.
Create the include structure with three new fields, as required. Then, save and activate it.
Develop the subscreen and the program
Go to transaction SE80. For the function group XAIS, create a new subscreen 9000.
Create it as subscreen.
Then, go to the Layout of the screen and create three new fields from Database table ANLU.
Drag the fields in the screen body and place them.
Then, save and activate the screen and come back to screen flow editor.
Create the PAI module to add validation for field Location 2, as required .
Activate the whole function group and come out.
Write code in the Function Exits to synchronize the programs
Now, code has to be written in the function modules EXIT_SAPLAIST_002 and EXIT_SAPLAIST_003 so that data flows to and fro between the main SAP program and custom subscreen program. For that, go back to transaction CMOD and change the function exits.
Write code in the function module EXIT_SAPLAIST_002 called once at the beginning of the transaction:
Write code in EXIT_SAPLAIST_003 to pass the data from the subscreen to SAP main program.
Then, activate everything the whole project and come out.
Complete the configuration to link the subscreen
The development portion is complete. Now, linking of the subscreen has to be done with the subscreen area of the main program. In most of the cases, this linking can be done in the enhancement itself. But, here, requirement is a bit different. It is done by configuration using SPRO.
Assets are created under Asset class. And for each asset class, there is a layout assigned to it. For a layout, there are multiple tab pages assigned to it. And, for each tab page, there are multiple screen groups/field groups assigned.
Here, the requirement is to create these three custom fields in the tab page General of asset master screen ( AS01/AS02/AS03/AS91).
Determine the Layout
To achieve this, first of all, we need to find out which layout is assigned to asset class 1000.For that, go to transaction AOLK( information has to be obtained from functional consultant).Select the Asset Class 1000 and click on folder General Assignment of Layout.
Here, for Asset class 1000, for all the user groups, tab layout SAP is assigned. Since layout SAP cannot be changed, it has to be copied and manipulated to include our screen group. Later, the new layout has to be assigned over here.
Create new tab layout
Go to transaction AOLA. Copy the tab layout SAP to create another layout, say, YSUB.
System will copy all the settings and will inform you about that.
Select your newly created layout and double-click on the folder Tab page titles.
You want to put your custom fields in the tab page General. So, select this tab page entry and double-click on the folder "Position of Groups".
Here, all the field groups currently residing in the tab-page General are shown. Add an entry for your newly created fields.
Select the group box from the list. An entry will come with U padded with the custom subscreen prepared by you.
Then, save and come out.
Assign the new Layout to Asset Class
Now, go to tcode AOLK and assign tab layout YSUB for asset class 1000.
Save and come out.
Test the Exit
Everything is over. Now, go to transaction code AS01/02/03 or AS91 to deal with an asset of asset class 1000. You will see your new fields added to the screen. Add values to them save. Then, enter into the tcodes again to see whether the values entered by you are being displayed or not.

Create a function module Z_ADD_ZTABLE..Which should be remote enabled..
Give the parameter..
You can select on MKPF and MSEG with the material document number that has been just posted...The values are available in XMKPF-MBLNR..
Example.

User Exit for Tax manipulation in IS-U Billing/Invoicing
I have a situation where I need to apply exemption for certain customers based on their consumption. I just wonder if there is a way I can effect that through a user exit. We are on ECC 6.0. The transaction we use for Billing and Invoicing is EASIBI. I tried clearing the text code in billing for such customers but invoicing gave me a termination error because it requires a value in the tax code. Now I need a way to maybe make the tax value zero during invoicing before it is posted for those specific customer scenarios. It is a bit challenging through config because it is not an across-the-board rule that can be applied to a bulk of customers at once and it is consumption dependent.

User exit for pricing in Sales Order
Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement while changing Sales Order and an Inquiry.Below is the requirement.
I have a custom filed at the Sales Order Item level as VBAP-XXXXX. When the user changes this value to a value (say abc) then the NET value in the Conditions tab of the line item should become zero and also the grid of the conditions tab should be displayed as zero.
I have custom item categories for which the Pricing (TVAP-PRSFD) is blank (No pricing). For this type of Item categories I can make the NET price s ZERO by implementing some custom logic in the user exit userexit_new_pricing_vbap. Since this item category is not relavant for pricing then when I carry out new pricing the net value is set to ZERO.
But for other item categories, this field (TVAP-PRSFD) is set to X (Pricing standard). For this item categories I cant make the NET value as zero.
So Can you please let me know the possibility of implementing the above mentioned logic?
Are they any user exit to update the pricing table KOMP?
Are they any user exit to change the TVAP-PRSFD value based on my requirements?

Code SE18 is used to Identify the BADI available.
Look for the string 'CL_EXITHANDLER' in the standard program. This is a class which has a method 'GET_INSTANCE' which is used to trigger BADI's from the Standard Program. The interface parameter for this static method 'EXIT_NAME' is used to pass the BADI to the method.
Open Standard Program and do a global search 'CL_EXITHANDLER'.
SE18 > give the BADI name found through above search.
CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA > which has a method SAVE_DATA.
T.Code SE19 is used to Implement BADI.
SE19 > give the implementation name > Give the Definition name as CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA and the Short Text.
User Exit
Exits are basically the hooks whcih SAP has provided to add your own code. There are two types of Exits:
1. Customer exits: Implemented as Function Modules within z includes. Anybody can change it and no access key is required.
2. User Exit: Implemented as subroutines within includes (any include except y or z includes). You need access for the specific include and then you can any subroutine (user exit) within that Include.
BADIs are the enhanced version of user exits where the same logic is implemented via classes and object (OOP)
Enchancement point is the latest once introduces with ECC6.0 . Not very sure about that but you can change it without any access key.

Problem in user - Exit for VF01?
Hi all,
I have a requirement where i need to calucate the condition value for my billing document and pass the same value to Net value of the billing header also. Here there is no sales order in the flow.
I am using the exit USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK in the program RV60AFZZ . The calculation is working fine and the net value of the billing header is changing. But if click on any button on screen or saving the billing document the value is not saving and set back to 0?
Please help me to resolve the problem?

Aravind.This may be because there are more than one entry points in exit USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK i.e the code written in this will be executed varoius time . SO, you need to code in such a way that desired code get executed only for your senario.
As per my understanding , when you click your button user exit USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK get executed and may be by initial quantity of some field and hence net quantity becomes zero.
Check this by puutting a breakpoint in USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK and check when all it get executed and then ristrict its execution as per your need.

Settlement Rules for PP Orders - Need a user exit?

We have a PP Order Type (ZSVL) that requires a sales order to create. SAP then defaults in a settlement rule with 100% to the MAT. We want to default in or alter via user exit a settlement rule with 100% to a specific fixed cost center. We cannot get SAP to default it in. We have not found a user exit that will let us alter this settlement rule, either at PP Order save or during settlement. If we can't do this then the user is forced to manually change the rule for every order entered and we want to avoid this, if possible.
Any suggestions?
Ideas tried already:
PP Order exits and BADIs do not include Settlement Rules in their interfaces.
IWO0027 settlement exit is for internal orders and does not work on PP orders
K_SETTLEMENT_1 has limited fields to change.

PP Orders should always be settled to the Material and thats the standard SAP design. From the settlement rule it is clear that you have created a Cost Center called Production Variance and the settlement is pointed to that Cost Center.
A better design / approach would be to settle the PP Orders to MAT. And Month-End Variance calculation will categorize the variances and push to CO-PA. Variances reports could help in gathering the information regarding the variance categories and the amount of variances. (If that is the only purpose why you are settling to CTR). Currently, since you are settling the variances to the CTR, how the Cost Center is getting cleared / zeroed?
The existing approach can be re-visited and business requirements can be analyzed to see how that can be met through what SAP delivers.

CREDIT MANAGEMENT - EXPOSURE CALCULATION USER EXIT

I am looking for a solution to a peculiar problem we have in credit management.
In case of Drop Ship sales order life cycle, the system automatically creates two line items per sales order - one each for Freight and Handling Fees. these are NOT relevant to schedule line delivery, nor are they billed to the customer along with the material billing. The default update rule for credit control area concerned is 12. The system, on finding line items not relevant to schedule line delivery automatically switches from rule 12 to 18. This leads to Open Deliveries field (S067-OLIWW) being updated instead of Open Orders (S066-OEIKW) on saving the sales order.
Once the sales order is billed for the material, the system should logically display net value as zero for the open order (as the 2 lines of fees and freight are not yet billed, the order is still open). But the system considers this figure at SALES DOCUMENT HEADER level and considers the net value as the total value of the sales document (including the material that is already billed).
What I am looking for is if there is an exit available whereby the system considers only those line items whose billing status indicator is "not complete". As such, the net value should be updated to the S067-OLIKW field net of the billed items.
Please advise if there is any such user exit available. Also, is there a way to customize this? We are exploring this at our end, but would appreciate an expert advise. Right advise will be awarded with brownie points

And trying with that also but looking for any other solution if it is available..
