Page expire problem in one env of two environments having same code

Hi,
We have an web application deployed into two environments. The application versions and server versions are same in both environments. We are using sun one application server.
When we click on back button (Say Env1) we are getting page exipre problem. The same code is working fine in other env (Say Env2).
We have not coded anywhere to clear the client side information after it is displayed. It looks like there is some server setting using which we can specify not to save any information at client machine.
Can any one of you help me in resolving this issue.

Transporting a request betweem two clients having same number

Hi all,
I took back up of PRD system and restored in Development system.After that I have changed the sid to DEV.our land scape here is two system land scape.
Production sid is:PRD
development sid is:DEV
1.The client number in PRD is 100 and DEV also 100
If i transport a request from DEV to PRD system will I face any problem?
2.If i have a same client number in DEV and PRD will I get any problems in future?

Hi Nani,
There's no problem in having same client nr. at DEV and PRD. In fact, is the more frequent case!
You'll only have a warning when you import a request, because of this. But no errors will derive.

Search help value restriction in two tables having same value table

Hi Gurus,
I have two tables containing same field having same domain with value table. My requirement is to restrict the values in the tables. For example the field contains 4 values:
1) A
2) B
3) C
4) D
For table 1, only A and C should be seen in F4 and for table 2, only B and D should be seen. Also if somebody forces B or D
in 1st table should not be allowed and the same for 2nd table ( A & C are not allowed ). How to do this using search help exit . Which event should I use. I don't want to create two separate check tables containing only the required values.

Session problem in one out of two jsp

Dear java guru's
I have got jsp page A.jsp.User select few option and this jsp calls
B.servlet this takes user input and pass to
C.bean which returns vector to B.servlet
This servlet put vector in session and dispatch to new jsp
D.jsp which calls
E.jsp in it for Image generation.
This E.jsp retrieve vector from session and generate a image and reurn to D.jsp
Now my problem is that session in B.servlet and D.jsp are same but a new session in created in E.jsp so image is null as it could get data from vector which is null.
I put System.out.println(session.getId()) in each servlet and jsp so to get thier ID's.
This is working fine in my system with Tomcat 3.2 but on web the new session is created for E.jsp
I am calling E.jsp like this

I am making page session=true in each jsp and also puttting request.getSession(false);
but still E.jsp is getting new session.I tried eliminating each one and made all combination that could be possible but not effect.

Two symbols, have same code, yet one behaves erratic. Both stage and symbol timelines used.

Basically, there is a random or erratic behaviour with the symbol/box on the right when you go into and out of it by pressing the button on the bottom which makes it scale out and in. The symbol/box on the left always behaves like it should no matter how many times you press the bottom button scaling it out/in. However, for the symbol/box on the right, it skips animation steps at random times by pressing the bottom buttons. When you first load the page, the right symbol/box scales out/in properly and may take a few times to reproduce the problem. Sometimes you have to try also going in and out of the symbol on the left and then try the symbol on the right to make it show this erratic behavior.
MORE DETAIL:
The symbol all the way to the right ( Merchant Dashboard ) is not behaving like the one on the left. When you go into them with the bottom button, the symbol scales out towards you making it bigger and pushes the symbol on the left out. When you press on the RETURN button on the bottom it should scale back by playing the animation in REVERSE. It does this by playing the stage and symbol timelines in reverse all the way to the start of their respective timelines. This works fine for the right symbol if you try going in and out several times, however, the right symbol behaves eratically when trying to go in and out multiple times. Yet they both have identical code.
If you try going in and out you will see what I mean.
There are three timelines. The stage timeline and the two symbol timelines. To scale out when you press the bottom red button, I play the stage timeline and the symbol's timeline. Here is the code at the stage level triggered by the buttons which are found inside the two symbols:
Right button (CLICK): "DASHBOARD LOGIN"

ok, I stand before you, head bowed in humiliation, begging for your forgiveness :-)
I'm not sure what is going on but I found the font problem (or at least it seems so).
Somehow (and I don't know how but I think I've been "duplicating the same folder content each time I start a new page to test and make changes (since the problem, I have been scared to touch anything that WAS working).
Well, it seems that the "duplicated" folder was missing my "CSS" folder in every one!
That explains why, even though the fonts and all the settings in Edge showed everything as being correct - they were; all except the CSS page that loaded the fonts!!!
Again, I humbly apologize - I really do try and find the problem BEFORE posting here; this one just eluded me :-)

Problem when deploying on tomcat two applications with same appmodule name

We have deployed two different adf-uix applications to a tomcat application server.
Each of the two applications has one application module, the two application modules have the same name. This seems to cause a conflict between the two applications.
After starting the application server, we can run first the application 'A' and then the application 'B' or viceversa, every time the first application works and the second doesn't. When running the second application we get messages like 'table or view doesn't exist'.
Having the application modules with different names seems to solve the problem, but it seems not so easy to change the application module name on an existing and rather complex application.
Any suggestion? Please help.

I had the same problem and the only way to solve it was to change the app module name.

Problem wih analysis authorization for two scenarios on same data provider

Dear all,
I am looking for a solution on the following authorization scenario (using the new analysis authorization). Unfortunately everything that I tried did not work out as expected:
User A is allowed to manually access query 1 (based on cube A) with authorization on all sites A-Z
The same user A shall get an email distribution automatically (derivation of the filter in the query out of the authorization) for query 2, which is as well based on cube A, but this time the authorization shall be limited only to site A.
As both queries are based on the same infoobject (0PLANT) and the same infoprovider (0TCAIPROV) I always get the result for all sites A-Z. The 0TCAACTVT is in both cases 03 (display), so I have no chance to distinguish between reporting and email distribution.
Probably the only chance would be to derive the values for the email distribution scenario not from the authorization directly, but using a customer exit to fill the filter - but I would prefer a "standard" solution...
Any ideas??

Before give you an alternative for you problem, Iu2019d like to comment the combining authorization concept:

For this reason I suggest you which combing restriction through authorization and query filter. For query 2 try to use in 0PLANT characteristic the single value u201Csite Au201D, this restriction give you only authorization for see this value.
Otherwise, you have to use customer exit.

Up the top where the three buttons are (red yellow green) are three images. Click on the third image that looks like a notepad (not the first which is a library book), and that should get rid of 'Notes'. To read using two pages make the window bigger.

Smb resolution problem on one of two MBPs, same network

I have a MBP 2,2, 10.6.5 and a MBP 8,2, 10.6.7. Each connects to the local network via WiFi 802.11n. The router is a Netgear WNDR3700.
On the new MBP, I have connection problems when browsing to SMB shares in the Finder that are not named explicitly in /etc/hosts. All the shares I expect show up in the Finder. However, connections fail:

On the old MBP there is no problem.
What's been tried so far: make /etc/smb.conf identical on the two machines; twiddle name resolve order when that didn't work; examine /var/db/smb.conf (which on the new machine includes three Kerberos lines that do not appear in the old machine's /var/db/smb.conf, I've commented these out even though the file header says DO NOT EDIT); throwing away /Library/Caches and ~Library/Caches; adding hosts' names explicitly to /etc/hosts. Firewall settings on the two machines are identical.
Connections always work to shares named explicitly in /etc/hosts. They always work between the two MBPs. The new MBP can basically connect to nothing that isn't named in /etc/hosts on any reboot except the one immediately following deletion of the caches. If the machine is connecting properly and then allowed to sleep, on waking it can no longer connect to the shares.
What should I look for to figure out this behavior? The MBP 2,2 has been exemplary and it seems reasonable that the 8,2 can do the same things.

Went into preferences and deleted all cookies. Then with Safari downloaded and installed 'Firefox Browser' and ran to see if we could break into Yahoo mail. Unfortunately, that didn't help. One thing that I didn't take into account was that I had reset the 'Parental Controls' after installing and updating Leopard.
I decided to uncheck the Parental Controls, log into Yahoo from 'Firefox', and got to the mail account page without any difficulty. We backed out, tried the same on Safari and everything worked just fine. I let her get into her email account and clean up the multitude of junk that collected since installing Leopard. Then reset the Parental Controls and then went back to the Yahoo mail account without any glitches.
Apparently, something triggered a fault and would let her go beyond the Yahoo opening page to mail. Everything is running great now, and we've an additional browser just in case.

One Apple ID two phones big problem.

Hi guys,
Before 6 months I bought new Iphone 4s,but it was used one day from person who sell it to me, so it already has Apple id.
I deleted user and created my user which was synced with iCloud and worked without any problem.
Before 10 I bought Iphone 5, also created my Apple ID on it and sync with my PC/ iCloud.
Yesterday I want to sell my first Iphone 4 and I did reset ( Erase all content and setting), but it did not want to wake up, so i started it with DFU mode using I tunes, and I did restore and update.
Now I am facing to bit problem, on the begging steps it says something like "this apple id cannot be used to unlock this iphone".
If I go to iCloud I can see only one device and currently its new iPhone 5, but both devices called with same name, so I am not sure is this problem.
So I have two doubts:
- I am not sure does SIM card can make this problem(on initiation phase you have to put sim in Iphone), because main is much smaller now so I using my wife SIM to finis registration Iphone 4 (iPhone 5 using smaller than iPhone4)?
- another thing It says you have to "use original apple id..", like I sad on the beginning when i bought Iphone4 it already has apple id on it, which I was deleted and configure main (afterwards this device was visible on my iCloud). So do I need to put first creaded apple id, does iPhone remembering first created or last used. If yes I have big problem because I dont have contact of user who sell it to me.
I want to add one thing, Iphone is not stolen I have warranty documentations and all profs that is not stolen.
PLEASE HELP, in my country we have awful support !

Just left the Apple store with an official answer. You can have two phones one Apple ID, turn off auto updates so you don't automatically get apps on both phones. Then you need two different iCloud accounts.

Yes, get a 4TB max HD, 6TB drives are both new and have known issues, ...in fact so do most all 4TB drives.

It is a common premise that people are overjoyed at the dropping prices per terabyte on external hard drives, and the first thing that enters most peoples minds is "great, I can put all my stuff on one drive,... all of it!" However considerations need to be made in creating a giant single choke point for not mere data loss, but seriously large data loss. If there is at the very least yet another redundant copy, this is fine, otherwise do not consider it whatsoever. Some 3TB and 4TB drives of all mfg. have, at the time of this writing, reliability concerns currently and best recommendation is staying at 2TB drives or less.

Donot receive all emails one of my two iMacs. What could be the problem?

I have two iMacs in my home LAN, both running 10.6.8. I have problems with one iMac which is older. It does not receive all emails while the newer iMac does receive all emails.
What could be the problem? Is Mail corrupted?

Can you narrow the problem down to a specific account or are all accounts affected? If one account, try deleting the account and then adding it back.

Problem with one master two details

Hi,
I have to create a form with one master and two detail blocks, both related via the same primarykey to the master block.
Both detail blocks shall be based on joins (as shown in the white paper).
First I have the master block with its items on the form.
Then after creating the first detail block, I put the items on the form, too, and everything is fine.
Next I create the second detail block (without join), rename it and create a master detail relation to the master block.
To look after result I run the form - and all items off the master block are invisible!
I checked it - its the creation of the second relation.
What does this mean?
What can I do?

I first created the same form with the same construction, the two detail datablocks based on views, and there is no problem.
I had to change, because some items should be updatable that I cannot achieve with views.
There is a diffrence in useing the datablock wizard.
Working the Views, datablock wizard cannot automatically find suitable master blocks.
Working without views, he suggests the suitable master block. Even the dialog box for selecting the master block is different, it shows both the master block and its first detail block in ONE line.
