Transporting a request betweem two clients having same number

Hi all,
I took back up of PRD system and restored in Development system.After that I have changed the sid to DEV.our land scape here is two system land scape.
Production sid is:PRD
development sid is:DEV
1.The client number in PRD is 100 and DEV also 100
If i transport a request from DEV to PRD system will I face any problem?
2.If i have a same client number in DEV and PRD will I get any problems in future?

Hi Nani,
There's no problem in having same client nr. at DEV and PRD. In fact, is the more frequent case!
You'll only have a warning when you import a request, because of this. But no errors will derive.

Hello all,
we have two clients in QAS system - 600 and 700, now the extended transport control has been setup, once we release a TR in DEV system, there will be two entries in QAS import queue, one for 600 and one for 700, I would like to know whether there is a way to import this TR into QAS (both 600 and 700 client) at the same time, that is to say, just one import action imports the TR into both 600 and 700.
Currently we have to import one by one, click the entry for 600, import it, and then click entry 700, import it.

Hi,
If you want to transport each and every request which is released from Development into both the clients, better schedule transports in both the clients every 1hr/with some duration. Then system automatically imports the requests into target clients without any user intervention.
Delete all the transports which are "ready to be imported" from Quality queue before you scheule the job!

2. Shall we have to transport client dependent request to production 2 times?( first to 100 and second to 200 via STMS)?
3. Using SCC1 shall we pull the request from client 100 to 200? is it right process in production?

Search help value restriction in two tables having same value table

Hi Gurus,
I have two tables containing same field having same domain with value table. My requirement is to restrict the values in the tables. For example the field contains 4 values:
1) A
2) B
3) C
4) D
For table 1, only A and C should be seen in F4 and for table 2, only B and D should be seen. Also if somebody forces B or D
in 1st table should not be allowed and the same for 2nd table ( A & C are not allowed ). How to do this using search help exit . Which event should I use. I don't want to create two separate check tables containing only the required values.

Page expire problem in one env of two environments having same code

Hi,
We have an web application deployed into two environments. The application versions and server versions are same in both environments. We are using sun one application server.
When we click on back button (Say Env1) we are getting page exipre problem. The same code is working fine in other env (Say Env2).
We have not coded anywhere to clear the client side information after it is displayed. It looks like there is some server setting using which we can specify not to save any information at client machine.
Can any one of you help me in resolving this issue.

How to Simultaneous import of a request into two clients in QAS

Hi All,
We've implemented ECC 6.0. Our landscape is like:
Development 100 -
QAS 200 -
QAS 250------Production 400
We've a requirement to Simultaneous import into QAS 200 & QAS 250.
How can I configure TMS to import automatically one order in QAS 200 and 250 without any manual intervention?

I follow tjis step:
1. Log on to client 000 of your TMS Domain Controller SAP Instance.
2. Go to transaction STMS.
3. On the Transport System Management screen, click Overview -> Transport
Routes.
4. On the Display Transport Routes screen, click the Display<>Change button to
toggle into Change mode. Click on the Target Groups line and click the
Create button.
5. In the Create Transport Group popup, fill in the Target Group as /XXXCLNTS/,
give a Short Description and click the Client Assignment button. Be aware
that the Target Group name must start and end with a u201C/u201D.
6. Enter each Target system and Target client you need. For our example, we will
DEV 100, QAS 200, and QAS 210. Click the green check mark to Transfer. You
now have a target group. Now you must create a Consolidation Layer.
7. Back on the Change Transport Routes screen, click on Transport Routes and
click Create.
8. In the Create Transport Route popup, click the Extended Transport Control
button at the bottom of the popup. Make sure Consolidation is "on" and fill
in the information using our Target Group as the Consolidation Target.
9. Click the green check button to Save the change.
But ,the the problem is:
I need to import orders individually, not through a JOB.
When I perform the QAS IMPORT via STMS transaction, the system requires one client. I seek is that no client request, ie the possibility of "ALL" or simply do not request a client and the import for the customizing order be made to all.

Compare two tables having different number of rows based on 2 columns

Hi,
I am having two tables table a having field1, field2 and table b having fields field1 and field2.
I want those records from table a in which field1 of table a is not matching to field1 of table b and field2 of table b not matching to field2 of table b, but i also want the bifurcation of records as whether field 1 is not matching, field 2 is not matching or both fields 1 & 2 are not matching.
e.g.

In this case my output should be

How can I renumber proofs in a collection set so no two have the same number

I have
four or five catalogs(400 to 1000 picts in each) that need to be joined into a set to send to an online service for proofing. How can I renumber these in lightroom so they all have a different number.doing it one by one would take forever

I now have two accounts with same number!

On May Tenth my account was charged, but the card on file had been cancelled due to security reasons on my end! I put in my new card, but at that time it wouldn't let me renew! I was told The only way to renew was to get another account under my sign in that I used! I had to pay more for this, but I didn't mind! What I do mind though is now the account that I was told that I couldn't renew Is now bugging me to renew it! If I had known this I would have resubmitted the new card for this payment! Transport Request in All client

Dear All,
In my Quality server there are 4 client (630, 650, 670, 690). When i transport any customized request from DEV to QLT, then in each client I have to transport it. It means i have to do same activity for 4 times. So is there any way by which I can transport the request in all client at same time? How?

Try scehduling a Background Job (TMS_BCI_START_SERVICE), which run at the same time in all the clients.

Transporting a request in single system landscape

Hi,
I our single system landscape, we are using the scc1 t-code to transport a request from dev client to prd client,then it showing a message like target client is productive and protected against client copy for this reason every time we are changing the production client settings. please give me suggestions how to transport a request in single system landscape with out using scc1 t-code.

Are you sure SCC1 is just for client copy? I dont think so.
Client Copy transaction is SCCL for a local copy and SCC9 for remote client copy.
SCC1 allows to transport local requests within different clients, of course depending of what the transport request contains you can copy something simple or a lot of data (yes, I know, the title says something, but see the functionality).
I'm agree is not a good practice to have DEV and PRD in one server, but maybe he is using it for testing purposes? I saw different cases in the past and sometimes they had DEV and QA in one server, maybe this is the case.
Anyways, lets help him on his question.

How to make 2 clients on same VLAN communicate to each other when tunnel-loop-prevention is enabled?

Requirement:
How to make two clients on same VLAN communicate to each other when tunnel-loop-prevention is enabled on tunneled-node configuration at controller?
Whenever we enable tunnel-loop-prevention on controller while we configure tunneled-node, the communication between two tunneled-node client on same VLAN is blocked or dropped.
If the tunneled-node clients are of different VLANs then they can communicate between them even when the tunnel-loop-prevention is enabled on the controller.
Solution:
To make two tunneled-node client on same VLAN to communicate between them, we need to enable "local-proxy-arp" for the interface VLAN on the controller.
Once it is enabled now the tunneled-node clients on same VLAN can communicate between each other.
Configuration:
To enable "local-proxy-arp":
Get to the interface of the VLAN on the controller
Example :
(config)#interface vlan 5
(config)#ip local-proxy-arp
To enable tunnel loop prevention on controller
(config)# tunnel-loop-prevention
Verification
Show commands:
To check if tunnel-loop-prevention is enabled or disabled
#show tunneled-node config
Tunnelded node Server: Enabled
Tunnel Loop Prevention: Enabled
To check if local-proxy-ap is enabled:
#show interface vlan 5
Look for in the output "ProxyARP enable"

SAME NUMBER RANGES FOR DOMESTIC AND EXPORT INVOICE

Dear All,
We have maintained Two objects separately for Exports and Domastic sales invoices which is inturn giving two different number ranges.
But our client needs same number to be continued for both.
For eg: 000001 . 000002 and 000003 is the number range for domastic invoices for Export invoice 00004 should come. now as we have maintained different objects Export invoice is starting from 00001.
Our client does'nt want to maintain separate number ranges for Exports and Domastic, same number range should be there for both which should follow continues numbers.
Please suggest me on this at the earliest.

Assuming that you are asking about Excise Invoice number ranges, please do maintain Numbers for the Object: J_1IEXCLOC
When you go into J1IIN, you will need to mark the checkbox: Use Local Number. If at the first time (in the case of Deemed and Regular Exports), you do not see this checkbox, click on the 'Calculator' icon and hit the 'Back' icon. Mark the checkbox and save your Excise Invoice. This number will be a continuation of your Domestic Excise Invoice.

Transport Request copy between clients in the same system

I have one workbench request needs to transported across all our client in the QA system
Development system has 3 clients - D001,D002,D003(client)
I am supposed to do the development works in the D001 client.
Unfortunatel I did in the D002 client.
But our transport route is D001 --->Q001only.
Is their any way I can copy the Transport request from D002 to D001 and then release D001-Q001.
I am able to repeat the same work relevant to D002 client.But there is no transport request is creating for the new
work in D001.
Please advise on this.

Hi,
You cannot copy a transport request from one client to another. Try to make a client copy so that the changes you made to D002 client will get effected in D001.

I would like to delete one client.
How can I prevent import of transport request for certain client?
At hte same time users must transport request into other client in TST system.
Is it possible?

These are Client Specific not Cross client. So if you want to delete a client just Schedule the Delete Job and lock the client and no body would be able to transport on that client. I hope i understand your question properly.
