Page Scroll Effect

I have set the vertical page scroll position to a certain value when a button is clicked. It's like setting anchor points in HTML. That is fine.
But how can I add an effect to slow down the scroll instead of jumping to the anchor point? I'd expected there to be a scrollEffect just like a resizeEffect or moveEffect.

I don't know if there is, but you could try tweening one for yourself.

  • Scrolling problem in one-page scroll effect website

    Currently the site I created with Muse has two problems, boths have to do with the second anchor in the page.
    - When opening or reloading, the site automatically scrolls to the second anchor at 671 pixels (with the text Situatieanalyse). Thereby passing the first part of the page.
    - When scrolling the site or using the navigationbuttons, the site sometimes scrolls automatically scrolls to the same anchor at 671 pixels.
    To me it looks like both issues are related to each other, because they deal with the same anchor. How can I solve these problems?
    Thanks in advance!
    Kind regards,
    Alexander

    Hi Sanjit,
    In the beginning, I thought the problem was solved. However recently I discovered it was not completely ok. I contacted Adobe Support for this issue. It seemed the bleu background image had a large frame. Adjusting this frame to the size of the picture solved the problem partly. Do you have any suggestions?
    Kind regards,

  • How to obtain scrolling effect to pages instead of sections , with muse

    I need to create so many pages within website the site is graphic based
    need scroll effect to the pages not for the section  is it possible

    i need exact effects horizontal and vertical for diccrent pages , i can obtain wih scrollmotion
    but problem is that when i switch from one page to another it not provide that easing motion effect

    Visually, you can do just about everything in Muse that was done on that website by using anchors and scrolling effects on the objects. However, you would effectively have a huge, single page web site layout. From skimming the source code on the first page I think the people behind that web site used some special JQuery scripts & plug-ins to make all the "sub pages" transition into view as scrolling items in their own DIV containers rather cause a complete page re-load. I suppose they chose this method to improve search engine optimization since it's probably better to have multiple pages with different tags and metadata than just one single page.

    How can I stick an accordion navigation MENU on top of a mobile scrolling page and make it work properly?
    As I can't pin it, I keep it on top of the page with scroll effect 0.
    It collapse, shows the menu buttons but doesn't close back once it reaches the anchorpoint.

    Muse won't let you, at least not that I know of. You could find the class in the code that muse gives it position: fixed…I think. You could paste it into the head area of your page properties to override the class. I believe something like this would give you persistent nav bar, pinned at the very top, on mobile:
    #youmuseclass {position: fixed;}
    I wouldn't use any parallax on mobile either, the performance is terrible.

  • Scroll Page/Parallax Effect Edge Animate

    Hello. I have been working on Edge Animation which play according to the page scroll.
    I have used EdgeCommons.js to play the animation when scroll but when I add the animation to the static website .HTML page it's not working according to the page scroll.
    It's targeting edge stage but I want to play to with the browser scroll.
    (function ($, Edge, compId) {
      var Composition = Edge.Composition,
      Symbol = Edge.Symbol;
      //Edge symbol: 'stage'
      (function (symbolName) {
      Symbol.bindElementAction(compId, symbolName, "document", "compositionReady", function (sym, e) {
      yepnope({
      load: "http://cdn.edgecommons.org/an/1.1.2/js/min/EdgeCommons.js",
      callback: function () {
      EC.centerStage(sym);
      EC.Parallax.setup(sym);
      $('body')
      //Edge binding end
      })("stage");
      //Edge symbol end:'stage'
      //=========================================================
      //Edge symbol: 'Down-level'
      (function (symbolName) {})("Down-level");
      //Edge symbol end:'Down-level'

  • Scroll Effects to OAM file

    Hello everyone!
    I am trying to add Scroll Effects to OAM file (in Muse project).
    I did this:
    Export the OAM file from Adobe Animate.
    Launch Muse and double-click a page to open it in Design view. Ensure that the page is long enough to scroll by updating the minimum height settings in the Page Properties dialog box.
    Choose File > Place and browse to select the OAM file from the site folder.
    Open the Scroll Effects panel. Click the Adobe Edge Animate tab (fourth tab from the left) to review the settings for this section.
    While the OAM file is selected, enable the Edge Animate checkbox.
    Choose Autoplay 700px
    Preview page in browser and my OAM animation starts playing immediately. What is wrong? I want animation to star playing after user scroll down (700px for example), but now as soon as I load the page my animation starts playing!
    My Adobe Animate file has simple structure. Autoplay set to "yes". I have a stage and one element with animation (movement from one point to another in 2 seconds).

    I just updated to the latest version of Muse, Edge Animate, and everything else from Creative Cloud, on my alternate computer. I re-published the animations from Edge Animate and the site from Muse and it still doesn't work.
    @Devendar_kumar
    I made a test page and animation like what I am trying to do. You can view it here: http://testanim904.businesscatalyst.com/
    It's the same animation in both grey rectangles. The one on the left is published from Edge Animate with autoplay not checked, and the one on the right is with autoplay checked. They are then placed into Muse, with a scroll effect (edge animate tab) to start playing the animation at 430px. The blue bar is there to show 430px and when the animation should start playing. (I tried the 'advance 1 frame every x pixels' setting as well but it had the same results.)
    Yet, the result is that the left one does not play at all and the right one plays even before the browser scrolls to the blue bar. Thus, edge animate scroll effects in Muse appear to no longer be working.
    I have placed this test file and both oam files on my dropbox at:

  • Creating a 1 page scrolling site - problems with the final section scrolling too far

    I have created a 1 page scrolling site that works fine apart from the final section, which scrolls too far. My site is made up of a pinned headr, a pinned footer, and 4 sections (defined by rectangles - each one 1011 pixels high). I have used scroll effects to bring the items in and out.
    The site can be viewed here: Home
    The problem is with the contact us section, where you seem to be able to scroll further than the bottom section.
    These are my document set up settings:
    so my height is set to 4042 (though I have tried it with 4044 - 4x1011 - it makes no difference. When I click on the link to the contact section it looks fine, but I then seem to be able to scroll further down, and this seems dependant on the monitor / browser size. The problem is more pronounced with a smaller monitor / browser size in height.
    I have tried everything I can think of to make it not scroll beyond what the anchor takes it to when I click on the link, but whatever I do the problem seems to persist.
    I would welcome any suggestions on this, and also any general feedback on the site. But help with the problem first please.
    Many Thanks in advance - I would be happy to post the muse file but cannot seem to find a way to do this.
    Ian

    Thanks for the help. Is there a way that I can upload the file for someone to look at - I have tried your suggestion but cannot find any empty text boxes or anything at the bottom. I have gone top right and tried the upload file section but it tells me that I am not allowed the create the content.
    Actually i'll put it in dropbox and share it that way.
    Dropbox - YESS2.muse
    Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me can see what I have done wrong - it is my first time doing a 1 page scrolling site so it might be a school boy error
    Cheers

  • How to slow Motion Scroll Effects and anchors?

    I am using a down pointing arrow to cue the user to scroll down to the next section. I thought I could automate by linking the arrow to an anchor that is positioned down the page. Cool, it works. However, the jump is so fast that all the fancy Motion Scroll Effects I'm using on the next section are nearly invisible. I see that this site does what I want when you press the "Scroll Down" graphic: Digital Marketing Agency in Johannesburg, South Africa
    Is it possible to slow down the browser scroll when jumping to an anchor, using only Muse?
    Thanks,
    JohnS

    There's no way of controlling the speed of the scroll, other than the distance between your trigger and the anchor points. Since it uses an ease in control, the closer the anchor is to the trigger, the slower the scroll will be and likewise, the further away the anchor, the quicker it scrolls.

  • How to make page scroll automatically on click, plz help ASAP

    Hi!
    I need to know how to make a page scroll up or down automatically when i click on an image.
    Too see example click here: http://www.morphix.si/
    I am very new to Dreamweaver and coding, so please be gentle. But I need help A.S.A.P if it's possible! =)
    Thanks!

    Hit F1 (help) and search for Named Anchors.
    The example page is one, very tall page with several named anchors on it.  When you click a button it takes you to the designated anchor on the page.

    The gliding effect is done with jQuery.

  • How do I create a mobile version of a site that is based on scroll effects and a slideshow background?

    I need to create a mobile version for a site that is based on scroll effects and a slideshow background.
    Is it possible to copy the format from the desktop version without re-designing all the elements?

    Hi
    Different renditions will use require the page elements to be optimized accordingly.
    So you can surely copy the page elements and paste in phone or tablet layout , but you would need  to modify them.
    Thanks,

  • Scrolling Effects in Adobe Muse

    Hey everyone,
    I am experimenting with the scrolling effects in Muse and I am using a pattern that tiles horizontally
    across the site. My pattern scrolls up and off the screen. My key position is 143. If I change this, it
    changes my original postion on the page. I like the scrolling up motion but want it to stop at a certain
    spot and remain fixed there while the rest of the animation goes through its motions.
    Any ideas?
    Thx,
    matt

    Aish,
    I think we are on to something here. I went back to changing the final motion to 0. Then, I changed the T-Bar ( the blue line that designates the starting from point)
    to extend into the graphic, instead of above it. In previous attempts I tried to extend the T-Bar below the graphic without success. Now, the graphic moves to the correct
    position but does not start in my desired position. In "design" mode the graphic appears to be in position but in "preview" mode it has shifted from my intended placement.
    What do you think?

  • What screen size for revealing scroll effects?

    Hello,
    I'm currently designing a website in Muse for a motion graphics company which has quite a few scroll effects.  As the user scrolls down (it's a one page site), elements either fade or animate (edge animate files) onto the page.
    I'm designing it on a 27" screen but of course a lot people will be using smaller screens and laptops so I was wondering what everyone uses as a standard active screen area?
    If I keep all the animations happening in the top 700px, I'm left with a big empty space below when using a larger screen.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
    (I will be doing a tablet and phone version once I've nailed this).
    Thank you

    I would suggest you to go with browser width animation so that it should render same with all screen sizes.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • Scroll effect is not working with button

    step 01: Make 3 pages (e.g. Home, About and Contact)
    step 02: use state 3 individual buttons from widget and link them with pages (home, about and contact pages)
    step 03: Try to use scroll effect with individual buttons.
    it will not work...
    if you first use scroll effect and then link the buttons with pages then the button will not get display on browser.

    What scroll effect are you using on the buttons?

  • Edge Animate Scroll Effects must loop, cant stop at end?

    I have an Edge Animate composition that I have inserted into Muse and have selected and checked the box for Edge Animate Scroll Effects. The Edge Animate compositon is of a piece of text that is set to shrink to about half size and then stop once it reaches the end of it's timeline. In the scroll animation I created, as the page is scrolled the text travels from the center of the home page, starting at full size, to the upper left side, where it reaches the end of it's Edge Animate timeline and should rest as a logo in the banner at half size. The problem I'm encountering is that Muse ignores the stop action at the end of the timeline and instead loops through the timeline over and over, causing the text to continuously go from full size to half size and then back again after it comes to rest in the upper left corner of the banner as the page is further scrolled, even though I have a stop action placed at the end of the Edge Animate timeline.
    Must an Edge Animate Scroll effect loop continuously as the page is scrolled, or is there a way to make them stop at the end of the Animate timeline? Obviously, having it scroll off the page before it begins to loop over again would not be a solution, given that I want it to rest in the upper left corner as a logo…
    Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

    The answer is quite straightforward
    you cannot stop the animation from looping in MUSE if you linked it to scrolling
    BUT
    you can still do it in EDGE ANIMATE - the technic which works for me is to put a "trigger" like STOP at 30 or 40s at the end of the timeline of your animation.
    Then for MUSE it will be considered as an "ongoing" animation and will not loop. Still the user keep the possibility to "scroll backward" and deconstruct the animation while scrolling  which is I believe what you were seeking.
    Check this ongoing project if you want the visualisation of it. Master Square
