Pages - Table won't continue to next page
I'm new to using "Pages" and I can't seem to get the rows on the table I inserted into the page to continue to the next page despite the fact that i have no more room on that one page. Instead, if I continued to type, the information would disappear behind the footer as the row would get larger. Am I doing something wrong or is there no way for the row to continue to the next page?
Quick question before I give up on this. Can I only add tables in this manner. I am trying a simple file right now untill I understand how to do it. I create a file that contains a button (which will be used for adding an extra drop down list) and a drop down list. I did not include a second button to remove the section.
I then select the button and in the Script window add the:

So my subform is called "subform1" while my element I want to duplicate with the button is called "DropDownList1"

It would help if you told which version of Captivate you are using. Since you are talking about 'multiple actions', I suppose it is Captivate 4, because that feature was abandoned in Captivate 5 and even for CP4 it was not very recommendable, I always replaced it by an Advanced action.

Podcast won't continue with next file
Okay, I've got a 5th Gen iPod and I like the way it's handling podcasts. I go to music, select album, and then navigate to the title of my podcast. I select one of the files, and when it's played through to the end the iPod immediately advances to the next file.
On my new 4th Gen nano, Podcasts are selected through the main menu and then select the podcast I want to hear. When it finishes the current track, it exits back to the menu. How do I get it to advance to the next track? I'm usually listening in the car, and I'd rather not be looking at the iPod while I drive.
If I select the podcast using search, it does what I want. That's a bit inconvenient, however.Okay, I guess I solved my own problem...
The search workaround worked quite well, but something like this shouldn't be so involved. I've recently discovered 'Smart Playlists' and have created one that automatically updates to the 3 most recent entries matching the criteria that I want. Everything even comes up in the right order.
So far this looks spot on with what I wanted, and with live updating it doesn't require any work to set up the next day's podcasts. -

I have an invoice where all the lines are not fitting into one page. So some of the lines are getting printed in the second page. But in this case I wanted to put a message below the first page as "continue on next page"
Since Iam a newbie to XML/BI Publisher I kinda stuck here. Tons of thanks in advance.

I have a group and sub group in the report. If the sub group records continue to next page, i want to display 'Continued from next page' and also repeat the parent group record in the continued page . I have used the following function in rtf and it does not work. Did any one have face similar issue?

This can be achieved by doing the following .

The image above shows the template - standard table with employee data in it. Notice the last row of the table has most of the borders turned off.
I have got 'Show Gridlines' enabled so you can see it is another row in the table. There are some other fields in there too.
Walking through the more important fields:
InitPT - <?init-page-total: contd_footer?> - initializes a page total object 'contd_footer' - for more info on this check the user guides.
ET - <?add-page-total:contd_footer;1?> - within the table, adds the total into the page.
Footer - <?table-footer:?> - an undocumented command (we had other plans for the command for a later release - hence the lack of doc) to specify that this row is the table footer. MSWord does not have a concept of table footer so we need to mark it as such for the rendering engine to 'see'. Notice its in the last row of the table - no borders remember (thats optional)
PT - <xdofo:inline-total display-condition="exceptlast" name="contd_footer">Continued ...</xdofo:inline-total> - this is the cool piece. It is supposed to render the page total, but instead it will show the string 'Continued ...' on all but the last page of the table.
EET - <?end-page-total:contd_footer?> - this closes out the page total command.
Try it out and play with it here. This approach works with 5.6.3 and above.

What you can do is just fill a webpage with content until you want it to goto the next page, duplicate the page and add the rest of the content. Then at the bottom just add a number navigation or 'Back page / Next page' buttons. It is bascially what a blog does except you won't have database and PHP to automatically populate pages, you will just do it manually. -

When I click 'view' , I can "show inspector". From the table tab, I can pull up the "Format". [See below]. I don't see the "Arrange" or "Object Placement Move with Text"
Right now I have the Wrap Text On. When I take it off, It messes up my rows [see second image].
All I want is for my column to flow onto the second page.

In your case, I think that we can try to implement another solution to deal with this issue. For example, we can reset the page number based on group and add some information on the page header.

Improving form by indicating continued on next pg. for visual gaps
I am trying to create a trailer to show whenever I have an instance where content must not break pages and it creates large visual gaps in the form. The trailer will appear when one subform pushes another subform to the next page creating a large visual gap in the layout. The trailer text will then say continued on next page. This will help my users know they are not finished filling out the form. I would put it on the master page outside the content area at the bottom but if the user does not scroll down they will not see it. If anyone can think of another solution to this problem I am open to anything. Thank you soooooo much!

Songs won't continuous play in playlist on itunes, Please Help!!
Just recently when I try to play my music on my computer on itunes it won't continuous play in my playlists. Just one song at a time. I cannot figure it out. Can anyone help? Any suggestions?
The songs in this particular playlist are unchecked because they are all AAC conversions that I load on my nano. For normal iTunes use, I have my songs in 320 kps. mp3s--but the files are too big for the Nano. So I keep this playlist, and uncheck the songs so I don't have duplicates playing in my regular libary. The songs don't play when checked and unchecked are together, but when it's just the complete unchecked song list they play in random order continuously until I stop them manually.
good lord ... i don't believe i've ever seen that reported before. (no real surprise, i guess ... how would people realise that something strange was happening if it was happening to them? that would keep report levels down ...)
