When I click 'view' , I can "show inspector". From the table tab, I can pull up the "Format". [See below]. I don't see the "Arrange" or "Object Placement Move with Text"
Right now I have the Wrap Text On. When I take it off, It messes up my rows [see second image].
All I want is for my column to flow onto the second page.
Your assistance is genuinely appreciated.

I've upgraded to OS 10.8.2 and my Bowers and Wilkins MM-1 Speakers were working fine until today, and now they won't play any sound at all, even though iTunes shows the audio is playing. I've tried both the headphone jack and the USB port. Please help! I don't want to have to be stuck using my internal speakers!

Thanks. I haven't mixed down the audio or checked the number of tracks in Prefs. Good points.
As far as a mixdown goes, I'll definitely give it a try, though I wonder whether or not the tracks will be recognized during mix down recording - given that you can't hear either of those segments in playback. Just have to try.
Re the preferred number of allowed tracks - I'll go check as soon as I send this off, but I'm not sure that applies in this case, since the two Channels containing the segments that are pinked out are not in additional tracks. I should have mentioned that other audio clips and segments on the same Channels in the SAME tracks ARE heard in playback. As are two additional track in the 2nd Sequence. It's only when the two sequences are joined that the pink tinted segments can't be heard. Within the sequence the same audio cuts playback as they should. Thanks again &

Please help me..Accidental damage is not covered under Apple warranty. And it seems there is much accidental damage. Only a Genius Bar tech looking at it can tell how much it will cost to repair.
Cost to repair will be high, I suspect (though Genius Bar will confirm/deny.
There is no gentle way to say this sir/ma'am ... someone will need to pay for your friend's MBA repairs. -
My Ipad can't connect to WiFi. I tried to reset and connect to the wifi network, it will divert me to the IOS page...could you please help? Thanks.
Try a soft reset or turn the device completely off then turn it back on again. Also you can toggle Airplane mode on for about 10 seconds and then turn it off. Sometimes that resets the radio signal inside the device.
A soft reset is basically holding onto the power button and the home button simultaneously together for about 10 seconds or until you see the screen flash and it should go completely black. Afterwards, tun the device back on like normally and see if that fixes the problem. -
Safari browser won't exit YouTube unless I switch the phone off! Please help
I am new to Iphone just recently, I have been using Android for a few years and it had its problems too. On iPhone 6 , if I use Safari and go to YouTube it gives me the option "done " top left corner, but when I click it nothing happens, it refuses to let me exit YouTube frequently.I have to switch the phone off to use the browser again! Please help! Dont know what to do here, bit frustrated since this phone is very expensive And simple features are troublesome! I enjoy the phone but this is ridiculous, if anyone has a solution please reply. Thanks in advance!
Try the standard fixes one at a time:
- Reset. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore the iPod from backup
- Restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod
If you still have the problem it is likely do to a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -
i recently have ipad but before i sell it i made a back up of it and by an iphone when i put all the date on my iphone some files and software did not install is there anything i can do to recover the lost data? please help
I don't think you're on iOS 5, I think you're using iOS 6. That's the latest version.
Unless you've used iCloud to back up your documents, you won't be able to restore them. And for future reference, you don't have to uninstall Pages to update your iPad anymore. Sorry about this. -

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.

How do I get rid of the "Extra" stuff? Please help!!
I just got a iPhone 3G today. it came with the 2.1 firmware and my iTunes is 8.0
I added some songs and ringtones to my iPhone, total of 500mb. I checked if they safely got into the phone while the iphone was still hooked up to the computer and everything seemed ok, I could set the custom ringtones and all.
But after a while, the USB went all wonky and continuously made that USB plug-in plug-off sounds you know?
and the iphone lost the connection to the computer. it was physically still attched to the USB to the computer though.
I unplugged it and checked it, and now all the music and ringtones have disappeared. When I tried to hook it up to the computer again, it won't recognize it, won't even make that usb plug-in sound. so I restarted the computer and this time the computer recognized the iphone. iTunes said that I didn't have any ringtones or and songs in my iphone, but the information said that there still was 500mb worth of stuff as "extra" - the orange portion- in the phone, and I really want to get rid of it!!
I did notice the "Erase all data" thing on the setting in iphone, but wouldn't that get rid of my firmware + all the contacts? Is this the only way?
Please help... I want to have a good experience with this phone, and first day I'm already quite disheartened.
ThanksWhat you need to do, when all else fails, is put the iPhone into DFU mode.
To do this, turn off your iPhone. Then hold down the power and home button. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.
It will then, eventually, be patient, come up with a cord and the iTunes logo, plug it in, and you should be right.
This deletes EVERYTHING.
I know that conventionally, this would seem like the worst possible option, but seeing as yours is new, no harm done!

Since I have Yosemite on my iMac I can't view PDF files in Safari anymore. It keeps telling me to upgrade my Adobe Reader, but it is the latest version. Please help? I don't have this problem on my Macbook that does not have Yosemite installed.
Back up all data before making any changes. Please take each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, and the problem is just that you can't print or save PDF's displayed in Safari, you may be able to do so by moving the cursor to the the bottom edge of the page, somewhere near the middle. A black toolbar should appear under the cursor. Click the printer or disk icon.
Step 2
There should be a setting in its preferences of the Adobe application such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected.
Step 3
If you get a message such as ""Adobe Reader blocked for this website," then from the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and check the box marked
Allow Plug-ins
Then click
Manage Website Settings...
and make any required changes to the security settings for the Adobe PDF plugin.
Step 4
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens by pressing command-V, then press return.
From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari.
Step 5
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others—I don't have a complete list. Don't remove Silverlight if you use the "Netflix" video-streaming service.
Step 6
Do as in Step 4 with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari. -
I downloaded music to my ipod shuffle from itunes and it still saying saying download music from itunes. But there is music on it when I hook it to the computer but it want play on the shuffle. Someone please help me.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
i downloaded lion but lost the setup assistant. please help me recover the setup assistant. i do not know where/how to find/enter information in the terminal as was suggested.
Launch the Terminal application; e.g., by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search. Copy or drag -- do not type -- the line below into the Terminal window, then press return:
sudo rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. Confirm.
Reboot. The Setup Assistant will launch. -

Thank youI found this strange glitch that wouldn't let me open my iTunes Store. I tried all the reset options and still iTunes would close a second after it opened. I fixed this. Instead of using the iTunes Store icon on your home page to open it. Go into music and click on store. It will say "Cannot Connect To Store". Just tap ok. Then tap on "featured" on the bottom of the screen. That will take you to the store front page. After that is loaded. Back out and the icon for iTunes Store on the home page should work just fine. Hope that helps.

It's a built-in app, so it can't be deleted nor downloaded from the store. If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Camera being set 'off' ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
