Panic Error Like ;- DAC-502 ; JBO-27120 ; ORA-00942

Hi,
I am developing wizard through simple database connection application and save it and try run it run first time ok and I also inserted 2 record in it. But next day I strat OJD 3.1.1.2 and try to insert record in same project I found bellow error.
DAC-502: ResultSetInfo: ResultSet ItemMast could not be opened because of problems opening one or more attributes.
JBO-27120: SQL error during query execution. ERROR OCCURED AT RECURSIVE SQL LEVEL1 ORA-00942:TABLE OR VIEW DOSEN'T EXIST

Hi every one, I am fresher, I am getting error when I am trying to run my workflow.
My work flow is getting succeeded in my folder and writing 22074 rows same as source qualifier. But yesterday I tried to move it to the other folder by exporting it to my desktop, and again by importing it to the other folder. from then it is not working and giving Table or view does not exist.
My target name is ws_twfs_olb_project_ds but in the session log it is showing wc_twfs_olb_project_ds1 . I really dont know what I have made changes while importing it to the other folder.
Can any one please suggest me how to resolve this issue in Informatica 9.0.1. the only problem I think is the target table is replaced with following "1". Can any one pease help me in it ASAP.

It has nothing to do with DBMS_XMLGEN.GETXMLTYPE. It simply means user executing your SQL has no select privilege on table &SCHEMA_NAME.&TABLE_NAME.

Up to now, using a characteristic with its own master data read class as the InfoProvider was not supported. This is now released but it is not available for all modelings. Using the attributes in the query is not supported for characteristics that have their own master data read class. Using the attributes in the query causes a termination. The following errors may occur in this case:

Error handling function: ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error:ORA-00942: table or view does not exist is not trapped. Why?

Why APEX 4.1 Error handling function does not trap the error of missing table?
Say, I create simple application with single IR report page and I also assign standard simple error handling function.
Function works perfectly, except but this case:
If I just drop a table used by report page and then refresh the page I am getting usual APEX error message:
ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
and error handling function is not invoked at all.

Cannot insert PS_TXN ORA-00942 table or view does not exist

We are using jdev 11.1.1.4.0
We have two users in the database and various application modules which connect to these users using datasources
We have tested the application with applicatin module pooling enabled off to test for passivation and activation errors and the application works fine.
Also on our internal test enviorment which has more then 10 concurrent users the application works fine
But at UAT it has started suddenly to give errors Cannot insert in PS_TXN ORA-00942 table or view does not exist
When I see the data in PS_TXN tables in various users I can see that passivation has taken place for the same day when there sporadic errors have been reported all having the cause as ORA-00942 table or view does not exist.
But one strange thing that I have observed is that the COLLID column has sequence numbers interchanged for the users randomly, database user 1 has sequence number from database user 2 seq and vice a versa in COLLID
As far as this problem goes the passivation should have failed with ORA-00001 primary key voilated but that is not the case
May be the keys have still not got to a number where they collide.
But I am totally taken aback on such a behaviour and I am not sure how to correct it.
So we have two porblems here
1) why did this error come in first place PS_TXN ORA-00942 table or view does not exist
2) Why are the sequence numbers interchanged for the databse users ?

I got reply to my second question
It looks like a bug in the framework and the suggestions are to use only one ps_txn and ps_txn_seq by modifying the internal connection
But the first problem is not yet known why did it appear suddenly

Look for the name of the Application Computation in APEX_APPLICATION_COMPUTATIONS APEX View using component.id: 3102806535980644 to find its name.
Once you have the name you can edit that App Comp and figure out which Table/View is not accessible.

Constantly facing JBO-26061, ORA-12519, ORA-12516

Hi,
I am using Jdev 11.1.1.2.0 with ADF 11g.
I am constantly facing JBO-26061, ORA-12519, ORA-12516 errors. I have tried many things like
1. Increasing the connection pool size
2. Defining locking mechanism as 'optimistic'
3. Changed Inactive connection timeout to 180
There is no code of opening a txn, but there is a code where I call getDBTransaction method on a VOImpl, but only where needed.
Many times application suddenly becomes creeping slow.
Can any one help or give clues? Need to get this resolved desparately.

I suggest if you're desperate, lodge an SR with Oracle Support. Relying on a public forum for instant help is a recipe for no-progress-anytime-soon.

I am getting currently getting an error when I try and insert into a table from a different schema from my Stored Procedure:

I am explicitly calling the table with the schema name infront i.e.
INSERT INTO SAPSR3.ZTREC_NAME_TYPE

VALUES
In_MasterID,

I only get this error when I try and compile my stored procedure. If I try this insert not within a stored procedure (i.e. a blank script) it works perfectly.
Can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong?

Hi,
It sounds like you (the procedure owner) have privileges on that table only through a role.
Roles don't count in stored procedures created with AUTHID OWNER (which is the default).
Either
(1) Have user SAPSR3 grant the necessary privileges directly to you (or to PUBLIC), or
(2) change the procedure so that it runs with the caller's privileges, by adding AUTHID CURRENT_USER after the argument list but before the keyword IS (os AS) like this:

AUTHID CURRENT_USER

Error Expanding Database Node : ORA-00942 table or view does not exist

I just installed the ODT for Visual Studio.NET. It installed fine and I can connect to my databases. However, I am having trouble expanding adatabase node to see all of its object nodes (tables, views, ...). I get the ORA-00942 error when connecting with a user id and password used by an application. If I use my personall user id an password, I can expand the database node. What table or view is it looking for that it cannot find? Is this something that our DBA has prevented? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Only guessing, but I wouldn't expect an application id to have anything like the same rights as a normal id. I wouldn't expect it to have any rights to tables, just to stored procedures and/or views, but this would be up to the standards in your organisation. This will be something the DBA has done, probably granting the absolute minimum of rights to the application id. It might be looking for one of the system views, so if there's an option to ignore system objects try setting it.

Error while deploying map: ORA-00942 Table or view does not exist

I'm having yet another problem with OWB, this time when I try to deploy a mapping I get this error:

Where AYADEV_LOCATION points to the module/schema/location where my source data is.
Now, I have defined three modules:
SOURCE, where I defined the tables and other objects from the original database (source data)
STAGE, where I am performing all the transformations; here I defined all the maps
TARGET, this holds the dimensions and fact tables.
Now all three modules point to different databases. The dblink for AYADEV_LOCATION has been created and shouldn't present any problems. The username that I'm using to log on to the source database is current and I can connect to it through SQL+ or any other program (TOAD, SQLDeveloper).
What could be happening here? I'm using OWB 10g R2, with Oracle DB 10g R2.
I'd really appreciate any help you could provide.

Hi,
I'm still having problems but I found out why these tables are returning errors. The username I've been given by the DBA to connect to the database is CONSULTA, but this user is only for querying purposes, the actual objects reside on a differente schema, of course, which is PROD. So the line:
"CONSULTA"."ESTADOS"@"PROD@AYADEV_LOCATION" "ESTADOS"
raises an exception because the table ESTADOS is not located on that schema, but on PROD. If I query the table from SQL Plus with:
SELECT *
FROM [email protected]@AYADEV_LOCATION
then there's no problem at all.
Why is this? How do I instruct OWB to point to the correct schema or to avoind fully qualifying the table name?
Please help me, I'm kind of confused here.

No, I don't think that explanation is correct. I don't think it has to do with user privs. besides, we don't
adjust rowids on an import -- we recreate the index, just like a b-tree index import would.
This should be working. It's most likely a bug in our (i.e. Text) import code -- SYS.XMLTYPE is a little
strange because under the covers it's actually a function-based index.
I will test it out and file a bug if I can reproduce the behavior on solaris.

Multiple kernel panic errors after upgrading to snow leopard 10.6.8 on my MacBook Pro.

After upgrading to 10.6.8, I almost immediately began experiencing multiple random kernel panic errors. I reinstalled the operating system that came with my notebook from the cd (10.6?) and the problem went away. I upgraded again to 10.6.8 and again began experiencing the same error. I have since gone back and installed the operating syatem from the cd and then upgraded to 10.6.7. I have not had a single kernel panic error since, but I would like to upgrade to 10.6.8 so that I can install Lion when it is avaialable. Any thoughts as to how I can do this without experiencing all of the accompanying kernel panic errors?

MAPVIEWER RECEIVING ORA-00942 Table or View does not exist ERROR

I've created a new 10g instance that will store spatial data almost exclusively. SDO Version 10.1.0.2.0. Using an ESRI product (shp2sde), I have inserted a shape file into the database so that it will accessible through ArcSDE or Oracle Spatial, then created the spatial index. The information appears correct in the USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA table. The spatial layers are accessible via all ESRI products but when I use our Mapviewer JSP application, it encounters an ORA-00942 Table or View Not Found error. The same procedures to insert data were used in a 9i database and a previous 10g database (built from the same CDs as this instance) without a problem. It looks like there is a permissions problem but cannot put my finger on it. The table is owned by a user AREAOFINTEREST and the Mapviewer datasource is connecting as AREAOFINTEREST.

What are the datasource and theme definitions in your jsp?
Could you also post the full error stack that should be in the mapviewer log file.

Drop DB control, error: Could not connect to SYS, ORA-12541

Hi All,
I am new to Oracle. I am struggling to solve this problem for 2 days, but still couldn't get it done. I post my problem here and wish every guru in this forum to offer some help. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
I have Oracle 10.2.0.3.0 installed on GNU/Linux. There are several instances there. The database, listener, sql/plus all work fine. Yesterday, I installed 10g database control on server. The information showed that dbconsole created successfuly. However, I use the produced url (http:// xxx(hostname):1158/em)in my local machine (Win XP) to connect the databse, and the webpage opened. The information showed that EM couldn't be connected to database, and the status of Listener is unavailable, the inforamtion for agent connect.. is: ORA-12541: TNS:no listener (DBD ERROR: OCIServerAttach).
I googled lots of posts both in this forum and internet and tried to make some changes, but the things get worse. It still didn't work. Even i failed to drop the DB control with the command of emca -config dbcontrol db -repos recreate. the error log information in cfgtoollogs/emca is:
