PAPI processRun() doesn't work

Hi,
I need to write a java application witch run a BPM process, wait the end and read the output arguments in End activity.
I used processRun() (PAPI library) but my engine doesn't support it and raise this exception:
java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: runProcess() not supported for EJB engines.
processCreateInstance() method work correctly, but the process start in asyncronous mode and I can't get output arguments.
How can I start a preocess and read output parameters in End activity without processRun()?
This is my configuration:

I dont think ALBPM process creation works in the "Request-Response" model. It works as the "Fire & Forget" model. You create the process, it will return you the processId of the process created. It assumes there could be human activities involved and it would take long time to get to the end of the process instances.
If you want to get some output at the end of the process. You can do it different ways. But the basic idea is before you end the process, grap the variables you need and send it to some storage and notify the consumers.
The best way is to use the message queues, to send a message just your before your process ends. Make sure your client listens to the queue and when ever a message comes in it process the message.
