Partial conversion of .mht file using PDFG.

Hi,
I am facing problem while converting .mht(single web page) files using PDF Generator. The conversion is partial. I am trying the programmatic conversion using SOAP endpoints.
Deployment information is as given below:
1)PDFG is installed on a JBOSS server running on top of a windows server as OS.
2)Application accessing PDFG using SOAP endpoints is running in a websphere container running on top of AIX as OS.
However if i try to execute same code from application deployed on websphere on a windows platform, the conversion is correct.
Please advice....

  • Reading .MHT Files using Sender File Adapter

    Hi Gurus,
    I have a requirement to read a .MHT file extension with following format .
    File extension is : C:\TEST\DGFAKTFRI.MHT
    File content opens in HTML explorer as follows ...
    ;2333097;800;0;237546;3912875;"2008-09-11";"A";"E";" ";0;"8715  ";0;"8715  ";" ";"0001-01-01";"46994051       ";"DO";0;0;0;,00000;"0597656             ";2333097;"Jette               ";"61922434  ";1;1;348,00;348,00;348,00;25,00;25,00;25,00;25,00;"K";1,0000000;261,00;65,25;261,00;65,25;"Nordjyllands Erhvervsakademi  ";"Boghandel                     ";"Leder: Kim Lemvig Hagerup     ";"Sofiendalsvej 60              ";"Aalborg SV          ";"9200     ";"DANMARK                       ";"72 50 59 80         ";"72 50 59 89         ";"01";"173";"000";"481";"000";"655";"RSRAPPORT OG VIRKSOMHEDSANALYSE THOMSON";"ELKJu2019R & HJULSAGER                      ";" ";" ";" ";" ";" ";" ";" ";,52600;,52600;228;155;21;"9788761922434       ";" ";
    This is just a single record for sample purpose and my file contains line entries with these content .
    Now my question is how do we handle such file extensions ? Do we have to use Module processor ?
    Or any other option is left as i am yet to check directly calling .MHT files using File Adapter.
    Thanks in advance for help.

    Hi Sitaraman
    As per the description given it looks like a flat file with separator as ";". You can do an FCC using file adapter and give it a try. if complete file is uniform as look above then it will work fine and you can read this file else adapter module is the option to read such unstructured file.
    Thanks

  • Problem when trying to convert using PDFG

    Hi,
    I'm trying to convert come files using PDFG. I tried the user console, the email account and the WebService API. None of this options worked.
    I can see in the log file that JBOSS is launched successfully, with every BMC being started without any error. The only problem that i have is taht QuartzService error but the Adobe support already told me that this was not a problem.
    When trying to submit a document for conversion, the log files registered the errors below. does anyone has some clue on this problem ?

    Hi I am using Iframe with src="abc.mht" file. i want to view the mht file content in same window.please help..

    This is not a Java problem, this is a WEBBOT problem.
    I suggest that you research the topic in your FrontPage help files.
    Yes, we do know how to solve this problem using ordinary HTML and JSP. The sample code that you've posted implies that you are looking for an extremely different solution. To put it another way, it looks like you're logging onto the Federal Aviation Administration's forums and asking them how to go from Chicago to New York by train.
    But in any case, if you can't find the information in FrontPage, I'm 100% certain that if you went to www.microsoft.com and searched for FrontPage and downloads, and skipped the results that actually want you to download FrontPage, you'll get some sample code.

  • CS6 - does import DV files used with CS5.  File conversion is N.G.  Help!

    Trying to upgrade from CS5 to CS6.  Upgraded one NLE and found CS6 will not import DV files that were used with CS5.   Can't believe Adobe missed this one!  We create many DV files each day that can't be used with CS6.  Any sort of conversion would just add another unnecessary step.  Do I need to stay with CS5 or is there a fix?  Thanks.

  • MHT files cannot be sent using Eudora email - buffer overrun error

    Previous Firefox versions allowed quick email forwarding of website url addresses. The current version defaults to generating an MHT file and when Eudora 7.1 is selected as the email preference, the following error message appears:
    " Buffer overrun detected!
    Program: C:\Program Files(x86)\Qualcomm\Eudora\Eudora.exe
    A buffer overrun has been detected which corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated."
    It would be much easier just to continue email forwarding of the website url address

    hello wmsharpe, there should still be an "email link" option that you can place on your menu/toolbar once you go into the firefox customizing mode: [[Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars]]

  • Error writing data in a flat file using UTL_FILE feature

    Hi All,
    I have written a package which fetches data from four different cursors and inserts into a temporary table.
    Now this temporary table is used to write data in a file using the UTL_FILE feature.
    fhandler :=
    UTL_FILE.fopen (l_path,'Demand_Transactions_'
    || TO_CHAR (SYSDATE, 'YYYYMMDDHH24MI')
    || '.txt',
    'w',
    max_linesize => 32767
    This table has 62593 records and when it starts writing data into the file from the table it errors out after writing 30045 records with the error - ORA-01722: invalid number.
    Can anyome please advise me is it because of the max_linesize => 32767. If not then what can be the possible reason.
    Any help in this would be highly appreciated.

    The error would indicate that you have a character to number conversion going on somewhere but the characters are not numeric so it's failing that conversion.
    This doesn't sound like a UTL_FILE issue, but more to do with how you are building up your strings to output to the file.
    You would need to show us your code that builds up the lines you are writing out, with details of the datatypes of any of the columns/variables included in that.

    Hello Dmitry,
    Thanks a ton for your patience!
    I have already tried step 1, still same error.
    I have already tried step 2 and it works using Portal UI
    Knowledge Directory-> Going to that specific folder - having ID 4079 -> selecting same file from same network share
    Followed Step 3 and the result confirmed that I am using the correct DataSourceID
    Here is the small piece of code
    <Code>
    IRemoteSession rSession = this.portletContext.GetRemotePortalSession();
    IObjectManager oManager = rSession.GetObjectManager(ObjectClass.DataSource);
    IObjectQuery oQuery = oManager.QueryObjects();
    for (int i = 0; i < oQuery.GetRowCount(); i++)
    Response.Write(oQuery.GetRow(i).GetName() + "-" + oQuery.GetRow(i).GetID() + "<BR>");
    </Code>
    Step 4 - We are not using ALI Content Service Windows File. Do you reckon I require this for Upload?
    Step 5 – I ran PT Spy, reproduced the problem but couldn’t find any exception(On the portal server).
    Let me give you a little insight of our dev environment here. Portal Server along with Remote Apps are installed on ServerX and Studio, Content Upload, Collaboration, Publisher are installed on ServerY. To neglect any permission issue I created the network share on ServerY as the Content Upload Service runs on Server Y.
    Running PT Spy on other server (running Content Upload Service) showed few errors but I can not make much sense out of those.
    What I can understand is
    1.     It makes the call to [submitRemoteDocumentMerge] with correct parameters.
    <Parameter List>
    nDataSourceID = 217
    nFolderIDs = (1) { 4079 }
    sLocation = \\ccsu-gmt-952.gnet.ccsu.nsw.gov.au\TempShare\temp.txt
    sTypeID = text/plain
    sTypeNameSpace = http://www.plumtree.com/dtm/mime
    sOverrideName = Trying to upload
    sOverrideDesc = No Description
    sLanguage = (null)
    bMergeACLs = false <ptLogMsgEnd>
    </Parameter List>
    2.     But the call fails with following stack trace (copied partially)
    <Stack Trace>
    com.plumtree.server.impl.webservice.PTWebService     SOAP call failed, an internal error occured on the remote server. Attempting to parse the SOAP fault for detailed error info. Web Service='File Upload Web Service', SOAP Action='urn:plumtree-com:DocumentProvider.AttachToDocument', URL='http://ServerY:11910/ptupload/services/DocumentProvider'
    </Stack Trace>
    3.     Next line shows following Stack Trace
    <Stack Trace>
    com.plumtree.server.impl.soap.SOAPEnvelope     Error in function SOAPEnvelope.Restore (arrayText == [B@7bd8a5): SOAP fault: faultcode='soapenv:Server.userException' faultstring='java.lang.NullPointerException'
    com.plumtree.server.impl.soap.OpenSoapException: SOAP fault: faultcode='soapenv:Server.userException' faultstring='java.lang.NullPointerException'
    </Stack Trace>
    4.     Then it starts giving the same error again.
    5.     I thought it might be expecting a value in Language Parameter, so I Passed US-en but still it screams.
    I can send you the entire trace file if that helps.
    Thanks a lot for helping so far, Plumtree is pretty new to me and I am finding it difficult to get my steps going.
    Thanks,
    Avi

  • File Content Conversion Parameters in FIle Adapter

    Hi
    I am doing a scenario - XML file to Text file using File content conversion parameters in Receiver File Adapter Channel.
    I given FCC Parameters like:
    DATA.addHeaderLine - '0'
    DATA.fieldSeparator - ,

    But im getting error in Receiver File Adapter as - fieldSeparator not specified.
                 i would be greatful if any one help me.

  • File Conversion in Rec File Adapter with subnodes

    Hi
    My XML Structure is like this -->
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns0:MT_Test xmlns:ns0="urn:TESTconversion">
      <MstName>Hello</MstName>
    - <Header>
      <TableName>1tst</TableName>
      <PayDate>0102</PayDate>
      <TotalAmt>24.00</TotalAmt>
      <Total>000002</Total>
      <PaySource>CHK</PaySource>
    - <Subheader>
      <TableName>1tst</TableName>
      <SelectCatgry>test</SelectCatgry>
      <CustID>200</CustID>
      <PayAmount>11.00</PayAmount>
      </Subheader>
    - <Subheader>
      <TableName>1tst</TableName>
      <SelectCatgry>test</SelectCatgry>
      <CustID>400</CustID>
      <PayAmount>13.00</PayAmount>
      </Subheader>
      </Header>
    - <Header>
      <TableName>1tst</TableName>
      <PayDate>0103</PayDate>
      <TotalAmt>10.00</TotalAmt>
      <Total>000001</Total>
      <PaySource>ONE</PaySource>
    - <Subheader>
      <TableName>1tst</TableName>
      <SelectCatgry>test</SelectCatgry>
      <CustID>100</CustID>
      <PayAmount>10.00</PayAmount>
      </Subheader>
      </Header>
    </ns0:MT_Test>
    which means
    MT_Test is root 1..1
    Header is the sub-node of MT_test as 1...*
    Subheader is sub-node of Header which is also 1...*
    rest of the fields are elements as 1..1
    Now I need to convert this into Flat file using Receiver File Adapter, I gave this in my content conversion logic
    recordset Structure -
    MstHeader,BFKKZK,BFKKZP
    MstName.addHeaderLine     0
    MstName.fieldFixedLengths     8
    MstName.endSeparator     'nl'
    Header.addHeaderLine     0
    Header.fieldFixedLengths     30,10,15,6,6
    Header.endSeparator     'nl'
    Subheader.addHeaderLine     0
    Subheader.fieldFixedLengths     34,10,35,16
    Subheader.endSeparator     'nl'
    But with this I am getting exception as -->
    Could not process due to error: java.lang.Exception: Exception in XML Parser (format problem?):'java.lang.Exception: Message processing failed in XML parser: 'Conversion configuration error: Unknown structure 'ns0:MT_Test' found in document', probably configuration error in file adapter (XML parser error)'
    I know that http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/44/686e687f2a6d12e10000000a1553f6/content.htm says following -->
    The expected XML structure contains the structure as nodes filled with any number of elements without additional subnodes.
    But does that mean Structure with sub-nodes cannot be converted in flat format.
    Pls. suggest the solution for this.
    - lalit -

    Shab
    I resolved the issue & able to convert the hierarchical XML file into flat file with the desired format I wanted.
    Rather then FCC, I use MessageTransformBean module and I have to insert more dummy contexts & dummy fields in the target structure in order to achieve the flat file format.
    I am getting file ( not actual file below just template is shown below) like this now
    Header1 ....details....
    SubHeader1.1
    SubHeader1.2
    SubHeader1.x
    Header2 ....details....
    SubHeader2.1
    SubHeader2.2
    SubHeader2.x
    Headerx ....details....
    SubHeaderx.1
    SubHeaderx.2
    SubHeaderx.x
    Once the total development is over on my side I will create the blog for this. So this following statement is only correct when you use protocol as FCC but not with module.
    "The expected XML structure contains the structure as nodes filled with any number of elements without additional subnodes."
    Thanks
    Lalit

  • Processing Large Files using Chunk Mode with ICO

    Hi All,
    I am trying to process Large files using ICO. I am on PI 7.3 and I am using new feature of PI 7.3, to split the input file into chunks.
    And I know that we can not use mapping while using Chunk Mode.
    While trying I noticed below points:
    1) I had Created Data Type, Message Type and Interfces in ESR and used the same in my scenario (No mapping was defined)Sender and receiver DT were same.
    Result: Scenario did not work. It created only one Chunk file (.tmp file) and terminated.
    2) I used Dummy Interface in my scenario and it worked Fine.
    So, Please confirm if we should always USE DUMMY Interfaces in Scenario while using Chunk mode in PI 7.3 Or Is there something that I am missing.
    Thanks in Advance,
    - Pooja.

    According to this blog:
    File/FTP Adapter - Large File Transfer (Chunk Mode)
    The following limitations apply to the chunk mode in File Adapter
    As per the above screenshots, the split never cosiders the payload. It's just a binary split. So the following limitations would apply
    Only for File Sender to File Receiver
    No Mapping
    No Content Based Routing
    No Content Conversion
    No Custom Modules
    Probably you are doing content conversion that is why it is not working.
    Hope this helps,
    Mark

  • Creation of Excel files using XSLT

    Hi frnds,
    From the blog provided by the Michal
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/12/10/xi-generating-excel-files-without-the-java-nor-the-conversion-agent-not-possible
    I came to know that we can create excel files using XSLT mapping but here inthis blog the example provides creation of only one column but I have a scenario where in I want 3 columns ex:Name,Age,***
    Shiva 26 Male
    Ravi   25 Male
    Rani   24 Female
    but using the code provided in Michal blog Im getting the output as
    Shiva
    26
    Male
    Ravi
    25
    Male
    Rani
    24
    Female
    Can anyone help me in modifying the code given in Michal blog to get the output as required.
    Please share your ideas or suggestion onthis...
    Thanks in advance,
    Shiva.

    Please change the code as
    <xsl:template match="file_SDN/recordset/data/*">
    <Row>
    <Cell>
    <Name ss:Type="String">
    <xsl:apply-templates/>
    </Name>
    <Age ss:Type="Integer">
    <xsl:apply-templates/>
    </Age>
    <*** ss:Type="String">
    <xsl:apply-templates/>
    </***>
    </Cell>
    </Row>
    </xsl:template>

  • Upload File using MDS WCF API

    I have a field of File Type in my Entity. How can I upload file using WCF API?
    I tried to create a new Entity Member and added the following attribute in the member attributes collection
    Attribute att = new Attribute();
    att.Identifier = new Identifier();
    att.Identifier.Name = "Image";
    att.Value = bytes;
    In attribute value I tried to pass the bytes array of an image, also tried Encoding.ASCII.GetString(bytes); as attribute value, but none of them works.
    With byte array i get the following exception "Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value 'System.Byte[]' to data type int." and in case of ASCII string i get "A database error has occurred. Contact your system administrator." error.
    There is lack of documentation and samples.
    Please let me know if someone tried it out.
    Thanks!

    You need to use the EntityMemberAttributesGet operation to retrieve the contents of a file attribute. EntityMembersGet is designed to retrieve a collection of many members and therefore it would not make sense to retrieve every file for every row retrieved.
    In contrast, EntityMemberAttributesGet is designed to work with a single member and specific attributes of that member, and it was designed to retrieve the file content.

  • Losing 0x0D in Content Conversion of a file receiver communication channel

    Hi everyone,  I have a file to file scenario in which I receive an XML like this:
    <MT_IDOCS>
    <IDOCS>
    <IDOC>E2EDK14                       10000000000000000010000020000010200600
    E2EDK14                       10000000000000000010000030000010200712
    </IDOC>
    </IDOCS>
    <MT_IDOCS>
    Actually this is just to give you an idea, but inside the IDOC tag I have a whole IDoc with the flat file structure that is going to be processed by with program RSEINB00. The incoming file has characters 0x0D and 0x0A between both lines, which is correct and is the desired format for program RSEINB00.
    But when I download this XML using content conversion, the resulting file has lost the 0x0D character, it still has the 0x0A, but all 0x0D are gone.
    The content conversion is set like this
    Recordset structure IDOCS
    IDOCS.fieldSeparator     $$$$$$
    IDOCS.endSeparator     '0'
    (I don't know exactly why they did it that one...anyway only 1 IDOCS tag is expected). The I have to extract the exact bytes from inside the IDOC tag and download them to a file. Is it possible to handle it from the content conversion? Thanks!

    Hi Pablo,
       maybe the problem relates to the file encoding you have specified in the Communication Channels. Maybe the file is being picked up from a Windows system which uses Carriage Return (CR) in conjunction with the line feed character ( LF) to indicate

    The module
       ConvertCRLFfromToLF
    using parameter value
      LFtoCRLF
    may resolve this
