Design overview:
List A
InfoPath Library - Form A
SharePoint Designer workflow
List A has a multi-selection column with multi-values.
Form A has fields populated from the data in List A by using a data connection in the form. I have a workflow that updates the values or creates a new item in List A. All fields work except the mufti-selection. The multi-selection has ;# separating
the values and I am having trouble setting the list box properly(checking of the selecting values) instead it concats all values on one line. I basically need to get the multi-selection column from list 1 to show exactly in the Form A and be able to
update the selection with the workflow. I can do this with single values with no problem. the multi-selection list is difficult. I read somewhere I can use a repeating table but I am not sure the workflow will work with that. That is only a read and not
a write.

Wow over my head a little. I understand what an array is with script but not how to write the script to handle it. I made this:
event.value = getField("LISTBOX").value;
But still no change in the behavior with multi selections. Example below if you want to check it out.

Passing values between jsp pages

I am a newbie to jsp. I am trying to pass value from one jsp to another.
Let me post the code here and make my point clear. I have 3 jsp pages and am trying to get the value into my 3rd page that was in the first page.
This is my Test.jsp page:

Thanks for the reply, it works. I was wondering whether this is an efficient way of doing this. What I want to do further is to setup a connection to a database and use the value I got from my previous page to query the DB and get the results and display.
I have see some code in the java website and a lot of people do by writting a bean /class(believe bean is just a class) and then importing it and do the things that way. I have good knowledge of OO and Java as a language and would definitely love to do it this way.
What i think i am missing is the basic idea to doing this way. So if you could let me know how to do this using java classes I would really appreciate it. If its too much to explain can u point to some good source(URL's) that explain's this. I have searched on this and all i find is code with no good explaination.

We have multi select list box on one of the info path forms. We have placed on button on this form. If user clicks on this button we want to select some of the values in Multi select list box (check box).

Hi Amit,
From your description, you would like to check items in a multi-selection box when a button is clicked.
I’d recommend you make use of rules in InfoPath form, i.e. when button is clicked, then set a field’s value.
However, if you are using multi-selection box, then you could only set the value of one item at a time. If you want to select several items at once, then we could use code. For more information:

If you are using several check boxes to replace multi-selection box, then it will be more easy. The rule could be that when this button is clicked, set a field’s value (check box field) to true and repeat it.

How to increase the width of the drop down list box in SSRS multi value parameter

Hi,
I am using SSRS 2012. I have a parameter, which accepts multi value.
The width of the drop down list box is very small, and the user need to scroll to the right to view the complete view of the content in the list box. But, if I don't use multi value then the length is good. Kindly suggest how to I increase the width
of the list box when it set to multi value parameter.

After testing the issue in my local environment, I can reproduce it. When the values for a single parameter are too long, the drop-down list of the parameter will automatically enlarge to an appropriate size. While the values for a multiple parameter are
too long, we need to scroll to the right to view the complete view of the content in the list box in SSRS 2008. But in SSRS 2008R2 and SSRS 2012, we can directly drag the black control at the bottom of the list box to control the size.

Thanks for your reply. I understood we need to drag the list box to a maximum size to view the contents.
But, this seems an additional task, i know this is a limitation in the current version of SSRS and hope it will be resolved in the next versions.

Passing Values to a dropdown list within a dialog box

I am using the app.execDialog(dialog1) command to display a dialog box on my form. The dialog box contains dropdown list (popup). I have found examples that do this but in all the examples they reference the loadDefaults function with hardcoded values.
For example:

Does anyone know if there is a way to pass values into the loadDefaults via a variable etc.. I can get the data I want to populate the dropdown with but I cant figure out how to load it into the control.

Hi scamp, not sure what you're asking. What do you mean by "pass" fields from one list to another? If you need information in list 1 to show in list 2, just create lookup columns in the SharePoint list. If you mean you want to add columns to
list 2 automatically, you'll need to make a designer workflow for that.

my problem is when i change the option in the list box, the particular modify group ie, the screen is getting changed only after i press enter, So please suggest me how i can change the screen without pressing enter.

without using VRM_SET_VALUES...you just create one data element by going se11....create one domain for it...now give the values in the "value range" tab....and at the time of declaration just write ..
PARAMETERS var1 TYPE <your created data element>
                    AS LISTBOX VISIBLE LENGTH 20
                    USER-COMMAND onli
                    DEFAULT <one value>.
You will get the same effect as list box....and make it mandatory..

Hiding of Select Options in screen based on selection in selection list box

         I have a screen where i have put a selection list box, it is pre-filled with values, Now based on the value which user selects, I want to show/hide some select-options fields. I have declared the select options in the top include of my program,

I am setting some flags based on the value which user selects in the selection list box, When I debugged I found that the flags were being set correctly, but the screen group value never set to '222' or '333', these are id's i have used for select options. Hence I am unable to hide/show the select options fields. Kindly suggest some solutions for this.

Your SELECT-OPTIONS are defined in a SELECTION-SCREEN so the PBO actions must be maintained in a AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT block.
I suppose the selection-screen is a subscreen, if you dont want to get unwanted interactions with a main selection-screen of the report, check sy-dynnr
AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.

Dynamic population of second list box based on the selection of first list

I have the code like this.
Here my issue is: when the user accesses this page he will get the topic and related categories in the drop down boxes. but when the user changes the topic it needs to populate the categories from the database and kept the topic same for the respective categories. so how can i do this?

Pass Values to Edit Form thru Query String and Save in List

I have developed a custom Edit form from SharePoint Designer and I am passing values thru Query String as below;
http://<>/cli/acc/Lists/GIInfo/testEdit.aspx?ID=262&com=POD_Send
And, user supposed to save the form directly without changing the values came thru Query String as below.
Now, issue is, when user saves the form, values is not getting saved. It saves when we change the value in text box or when we do a text change event in form. Becasue data binding says Text Change even in data binding property.

The issue was resolved by changing the textbox values,

The only problem is, the XML form data only contains the first selection made. All others are discarded. This is the first thing I've ever done with the Life Cycle Designer but the product seems somewhat in a version 1 state. Lots of features but no depth. Any suggestions about the XML?

Here the number of values in vector list are not fixed.
