Passing Payload data to alert container for all SAP PI erros
Hi All,
I have a alert requirement as follows.
One alert has to be raised for all PI errors including Integration Engine errors and Adapter Engine errors. The scenario is ABAP PROXY >XI->SOAP.
Payload will have n number of fields including Delivery Number and Mail ID of a business User.
Mail has to be triggered from PI to this particular user along with delivery number. Please note this alert has to be triggered for all PI errors ( Mapping, Adapter Error,Apllication Error ...etc).
Triggering alert from an UDF by calling report SALERT_CREATE does cover only integration engine errors. It should not cover any adapter engine error.
By creating a alert rule and alert category in RWB will not have Payload data in the mail and Alert will be sent to fixed receipients. Alert rule does cover all PI errors.
How should i do this>
Hey
By regular alert mechanism, this is not possible, you need to use BPM to trigger e-mail to include delivery number.
/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/13/alerts-with-variables-from-the-messages-payload-xi--updated
>>Mail has to be triggered from PI to this particular user along with delivery number
Well this can only be done via mail adapter, alert mechanisms need a specific user ID or user with specific roles.
Thanks

Top Organization Classification as a Container for All Employees
Hi All,
I hope someone will be able to help me on this.
From what I gathered in Oracle Documentation, the Employer is represented in HRMS as an enterprise structure and the Business Group is the highest Organization classification that serves as a container for all Organizations, Employees and other objects within it.
However, I observed an Organization Classification "Employer" in the Define Organizations Screen.
Does this mean that in fact the organization classification of the topmost organization in Oracle HRMS that serves as the container for ALL of the employees, is in the fact the "Employer" Organization Classification?
Thks
RaviTo determine the purpose and use of each organization you create, you give it one or more classifications. The setup information you enter for an organization depends in large part on its classification.
Question : Does this mean that in fact the organization classification of the topmost organization in Oracle HRMS that serves as the container for ALL of the employees, is in the fact the "Employer" Organization Classification?
No, organization classification of the topmost organization in Oracle HRMS that serves as the container should be "Business Group" Organization Classification.

Payload field value in container for alert
Hi All,
I am configuring Alerts for my client.I have to insert a value of one of the field from payload in the alert long message.
I have gone through SDN to search for any blogs.
1) I dont want to use BPm
2) Other option of using RFC lookup in mapping is not feasible.
Does any one else has any other idea about implementing the same.I could see some System Fields like XPATH_GET_VALUE in the alert category. But ,how can we use it?
Thanks
NidhiIf you are using the Alert category definition of SAP PI
there are default container values that can be used to include
data in the alert message.
Refer to: [Alert Category definition|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/80/942f3ffed33d67e10000000a114084/frameset.htm]
this should be the first place to look for work methods and features. -
Configure a SSRS Data Alert once for all parameters
Hi,
while BOL mention "[...] If the report is parameterized, you might need to run the report using different parameter values to ensure the data that that you are interested in appears in the report. After the report is open, you click the
New Data Alert option on the Actions menu on the report toolbar to open Data Alert Designer [...]"
is it possible, or is there a work around, to configure a data alert that lists all parameter members?
i.e. I've a report with a parameter that is "Customer" that contains more or less 1000 names. How can I create a single data alert for each Customer? --> i.e if the customer has a payment delay greater than n days?
Thanks in advance, DavideHi Davide,
Per my understanding that you want to create only one Data Alert for all the parameters in the lists, right?
As you know that if the report is parameterized ,only after the report is open then you can click the New Data Alert option on the Actions menu on the report toolbar to open Data Alert Designer and create the Data alert.
So by design you need to first select the parameter to filter the report and then create the “New Data Alert” . When you choose a data feed, the data from the feed displays in a table with rows and columns in the alert data pane of Data Alert Designer which
is the filtered tables data based on this parameter, that means the current version not support to set only one Data Alert for all parameters at once through the setting of the “New Data Alert” , The parameter values you chose to run the report are saved
in the alert definition and will be used when report is rerun as a step in processing the alert definition. To use different parameter values, you must create a new alert definition.
I recommend you that submit this suggestion at

Getting payload data in alert category
Is there anyway to fetch XI payload data(IDOC number) in ALRTCATDEF along with other container variable?
We have been sending email alerts without BPM(Alert rule and alert cat).

How to Pass Multiple data records into SDATA for a segment
Hi Friends,
I need to Pass data records to Function Module
MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE for Creating Outbound IDOCs
I am Collecting all the Data Records and Passing into the Structure EDIDC.
Here my problem is
For one Route there are Multiple Customer records.
so my First Parent Segment is ZROUTE
i am passing the Datarecord for this Segment.
and for the Customer Segment , I have 5 Customers,
so i am passing the 5 Data records to SDATA .
Loop at gt_route into gw_route.
Pass the Route data into the Data record SDATA
gw_idocdata-sdata = gw_route_header.
gw_idocdata-segnam = lc_route_header.
gw_idocdata-hlevel = lc_4.
APPEND gw_idocdata TO gt_idocdata.
CLEAR : gw_route_header, gw_idocdata.
Loop at gt_customer into gw_customer
where anlage = gw_route-anlage.
Pass the Customer data into the Data record SDATA
gw_idocdata-sdata = gw_customer.
gw_idocdata-segnam = lc_customer.
gw_idocdata-hlevel = lc_5.
APPEND gw_idocdata TO gt_idocdata.
CLEAR : gw_customer, gw_idocdata.
ENDLOOP
ENDLOOP.
So this customer segment is comming 5 times in my IDOC
Can any one suggest me whether i am going in correct way or not.
I am Getting the IDOC status 26.
Error during syntax check of IDoc (outbound)
I think it is because the IDOC is not yet SET RELEASE.
But i am having the Dought in Passing the data to SDATA fied
of the EDIDC Structure.
Can any one Suggest me.
Thanks in Advance,
GaneshHi,
First of all EDIDC is the control record, EDID4 is the data record. When collecting customer record into idoc_data you need to insert customer's parent segment number.
Eg.
route1, segnum 1.
child 1, segnum 2 and parent segnum = 1
child 2, segnum 3 and parent segnum = 1
child 3, segnum 4 and parent segnum = 1
route 2, segnum 5
child 1, segnum 6 and parent segnum = 5
child 2, segnum 7 and parent segnum = 5
child 3, segnum 8 and parent segnum = 5
Cheers.

Dynamic SELECT containing 'FOR ALL ENTRIES'
Hi,
I am trying to do a slect from a table in which the table and the field to be selected will be dynamically populated using Field Symbol
Something like this,
SELECT * FROM <FS_TABLE>
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE <FS_IT_TABLE>
FOR ALL ENTRIES IN T_TABLE
WHERE <FS_FIELD> EQ T_TABLE-FIELD1.
I know that <FS_FIELD> cannot be used along with 'FOR ALL ENTRIES'. Is there any other way to achieve this?Hi!
Try out the dynamical WHERE conditions then:
PARAMETERS: column TYPE c LENGTH 8,
value TYPE c LENGTH 30.
DATA spfli_wa TYPE spfli.
DATA cond_syntax TYPE string.
CONCATENATE column '= value'
INTO cond_syntax SEPARATED BY space.
TRY.
SELECT SINGLE *
FROM spfli
INTO spfli_wa
WHERE (cond_syntax).
CATCH cx_sy_dynamic_osql_error.
MESSAGE `Wrong WHERE condition!` TYPE 'I'.
ENDTRY.

ENDIF.
Pl help me as soon as possible...
Thanks & Regards,
Swapnika PanseHi,
In table j_1iexchdr, there are two fields
RDOC J_1IRDOC1 CHAR 10 Reference Document 1
DOCNO J_1IDOCNO NUMC 10 Internal Excise Document Number
RDOC is of character type and DOCNO is of numeric type.
Your declaration for fields is :
docno LIKE j_1iexchdr-rdoc,
rdoc LIKE j_1iexchdr-rdoc,
And in the select query you are trying to fetch docno which is of type j_1iexchdr-rdoc. SO, change your declaration from
docno LIKE j_1iexchdr-rdoc,
to
docno LIKE j_1iexchdr-docno,
This should solve your problem.
Thanks,

ABAP/4 Keywords for all SAP R/3 Versions
Hello Experts,
Is there any DB Table available in Data Dictionary where all these ABAP/4 Keywords available; if yes do please let me know if not available then do please provide me with all ABAP/4 Keywords of all versions of SAP R/3 if possible
points will be awarded if helpful.
Thanks in AdvanceHello Arif,
There no particular table to check all the key words in ABAP.
To check system fields Go for
Se11-- SYST.
TO get the key words go to ABAPDOCU- type ur required key word in the search given in the last section.
The best option would be to debug ABAPDOCU, when you do a click on Keywords
Or Check the Pooled table : TSE05
As you must be knowing ABAPDOCU is in SABAPDOCU Package.....!!
There are a number of tables used; like ABTREE,etc !
Explore and find whether you can get some clue!
Find the keywords here...

How do I keep my wife's IPhone from alerting her for all of MY appointments?
Both IPhones and my MacBook Pro are sync'd to the same ICloud/ITunes account.
My plan: Use 3 separate calendars to organize our appointments - one for her, one for me, and one joint calendar.
I keep trying to unselect my calendar on her phone to keep my appontments from alerting her.
I guess the ICloud keep reselecting that calendar on her phone. We both receive all alerts.
Is there a way to have ICloud only sync certain calendars with certain IPhones? Or is it an all-or-nothing deal? That would be so dissapointing. An icloud account is really designed for one user. Unless you want all your devices to be identical (same emails, contacts, calendars, photos in the stream, etc.) your wife should have her own account so she can keep emails, etc. as hers, not yours also.
With calendars, you can make some "sharable" so two user can share events, the other calendars are personal, for each user. Log into icloud.com, go to the calendar page, click small icon next to a listed calandar (click the Calendar button first if there is one) and select sharable.
As for itunes account - you can both share the same account for sharing music, apps etc. without having to re-buy them. -
Calendar alerts created for all-day events contrary to "None" selected in preferences
In Calendar preferences I have selected None, None, and None. When I create a new event there is no alert, but when I click on the all-day box an alert is scheduled. I can uncheck the all-day box, but is there any way to prevent the box from being checked contrary to the preferences I've set? Perhaps this is a bug. In any case I will report it as such.
Eric, thank you for the suggestion. I turned off everything in System Preferences/Notifications/Calendar but an alert is still created when I check the all-day box.

How I fixed my M4 that wouldn't detect in the BIOS
Yeah the power cycling procedure that Crucial posted is **bleep**. What's happening is that when your SSD thinks the power supply is suspect (which with the current firmware means every time your computer turns off without shutting down) it locks its
