Passing the property values dynamically
Hi All,
We have requirement that we need to invoke the Webservice by passing the crdentilas and for that i am using the BasicHeaders,Basicusername and Basicpassowrd and i am hardcoruing the values now i need to pass the values dynamically.
How can i acheive this situation.

You can use bpel preferences for that:
1.
In the composite add a property, for ex:
<component name="test">
<implementation.bpel src="test.bpel"/>
<property name="bpel.preference.exam">abc</property>
</component>
2.
To get the value within your bpel process use: ora:getPreference(exam)
3.
Then, you can change the value in the EM:
Under Farm_soa_domain>weblogic domain>your_domain>soa_server1
Right click on menu>system Mbean browser>oracle.soa.config>server:soa_server1>SCAComposite>your project>SCAComposite.SCAComponent>processName>
Now, click on the properties attribute : you can see the exam property and change the value.

How to pass the property value to getter function
In jsp, I have a select box,like this:
<html:select property="chooseType" styleId="chooseType" onchange="javascript:checkType()">
<html:option value="Type1">Type1</html:option>
<html:option value="Type2">Type2</html:option>
<html:option value="Type3">Type3</html:option>
</html:select>
javascript, I use document.getElementById("chooseType").value="Type3";
however, i form.java file, using getChooseType(), I could not get the value "Type3". If I do not set the value by javascript, I just select "Type3" from GUI, value "Type3" is passed properly to the getter.
How to pass the value,set in javascript to getter?

javascript, I use document.getElementById("chooseType").disabled=true;
So if I disable the select box, the value can not be passed to form. How to disable the select box but still pass the value to form?

In the above code instead of the *"Calc_Script name"* I want a script which is called dynamically and the values are calculated accordingly.

This is the situation:
I have a calc script in Essbase which I can call to perform the calculations on the current sheet that is retrieved. I want calculation for the following formulas:
x = EssVCalculate("Sheet2", "CalcBC", False)
CalcBC is my calc script which is present in Essbase
So instead of passing the above script I want to pass the conditions dynamically in the VBA code . I don't want to mention the script name directly in EssVCalculate option
For example:
I have three drop down menus from which I would select three different( zero level )members. It would then retrieve the data for that particular values in the excel sheet and now when I click on Calculate button it should calculate the script dynamically.
I don't know how calc scripts can be executed dynamically in the VBA code itself.

I have to pass the 4 different values to the sql file and each time i pass the value it has to generate the txt file for that value like wise it has to generate the 4 files at each run.
can any one help me out.

sqlplus is a program. you start it from the korn shell. when it's finished, processing control returns to the korn shell. the korn shell and sqlplus do not communicate back and forth.
so "spool the output from .sql file to some txt file from k shell, while passing the input parameters to the sql file from korn shell" makes no sense. -

If i click GO button on search page then it pass the selected Poplists values as a Bound values to VO Sql query at runtime after this I store the search results in a Table(Which is created by using New Region Wizard).
I want to pass the Bind parameter values to VO SQL query during runtime and :1,:2,:3,:4,:5,:6,:7 values are coming from Poplists.
I search through forum I found many threads regarding Bind Values but those all are passing ID's only not String(Varchar) values.
How to pass the Character values to VO Query.
Please anyone help me on this.

I have a stored procedure written in sqlplus as below:

I am trying to insert a new row into the database using the stored procedure.
I have called the above procedure in my java code as below:

Pass Multiple Prompt Values Dynamically in a Publication
Hello
I have a dynamic list for list for my Publications of a Web Intelligence Document. The dynamic list has the following columns names
ID
Name
Email
Zone
and the Web Intelligence document has the columns:
Zone
Sales Value
I can't use Profiles because some of the recipients in the dynamic list do not have a BOE account
Lets say I use the following values
ID = 1
Name = Sally
Email = [email protected]
Zone = USA
This works fine and if I change the value of the Zone to another single value, (maybe Sally has been reallocated to a different Sales Region) for example:
ID = 1
Name = Sally
Email = [email protected]
Zone = UK
then this also works fine and the output from the Publication shows the correct value.
However, when I try and do the following, I run into problems:
ID = 1
Name = Sally
Email = [email protected]
Zone = USA;UK
The resultant output is blank!!! The prompt that is in my document that I want to burst is set to optional. I've tried using:
semicolons: for example USA;UK
commas: for example USA,UK
brackets and semicolons: for example (USA;UK)
brackets and commas: for example (USA,UK)
but nothing works and the resultant output is empty
Also, passing in a blank value for the optional prompt to return everything but this does not work either and the resultant output is empty.
I can't believe that this is not possible and would welcome any suggestions.

RameshwariYou can not do that.The jsp:useBean and jsp:setProperty are action tags and not custom tags. Action tags get translated into Java code in the translation unit and are then compiled. Custom tag are backed by classes and the tag get translated into a method call of the class.
