PATH_NOT_FOUND Root Cause while creating a declerative component - resolved

While adding a new File System Connection , I have added the directory path where my declerative component jar is created it is in the path D:\workspace\mywork\TaskFlow\ViewController\deploy\myDeclerativeCompLib.jar
I have cross verified the path the jar is already created. but during the test connection I get the following error.
PATH_NOT_FOUND Root Cause =The specified file system path does correspond to a directory. Base path=[D:\workspace\mywork\TaskFlow\ViewController\deploy\myDeclerativeCompLib.jar] Resolved path=[D:\workspace\mywork\TaskFlow\ViewController\deploy\myDeclerativeCompLib.jar].
I cantfigure out whats the problem. pls give me the sugestion.
I found the solution : The path I have mention is D:\workspace\mywork\TaskFlow\ViewController\deploy.

Error while creating a new component

Dear
I'm trying to create a component to delete the "blank" value from an option list so that the default value would be the first value on the list. I did all the steps in the "Component Wizard" and at the end when clicking finish the following errors appear:

I don't think the pipe is the problem as that appears to match what's defined in the manual. Plus, the error doesn't seem to match that (not saying that detail alone would ever through a hypothesis out). It's worth taking out.
MME, are you 100% sure you've opened the file, from the filesystem, and all you saw was the code you posted?
Typically the format is:

That could cause a difference between what you believe is the ninth line & what the system reads as the ninth line.
I would suggest taking all of the idoc out of the dynamichtml and see if that renders. If that works, add it back in line-by-line. See what causes it to break. There's not much code, so it shouldn't take more than a handful of restarts to test this out.
I have a feeling that even empty, the component will fail. The fact that you believe you made your code eight lines long and yet the error still pointed to line nine means something is not as it seems.
Can you post the full component for review? I so, provide a link and I'll take a look.

How to make settings of root folder , while creating customize JSP Pages.

I am developing customized BI Beans Application.While the development ,I gose to compnent pallete and try to access BI Beans Objects which are on same workspace . But in the location tab it shows root foloder and only one object . I am unable to access another object which are belongs to same workspace .
My question is how to make setting of root folder (there is no any option) and how to access other objects from same workspace
Please guide me, if someone have any idea

Which tag are you using from the component Palette?
Also do you have multiple workspaces in your OLAP source DB?

The problem could be a SAPGUI related problem... Whats the current sapgui patch level ? Does it work when you try on another wokstation with the same user ?
Could you please use SAPGUI 720 and update your patch level to 7 ? Then check the behaviour again.

Help while creating application component

While creating a application component => forms in Oracle Portal if I use the help icon on any of the wizard pages, it won't show any help. Instead it reads javascript error on my browser's status bar.
Is this a bug or is it a problem with my installation of Oracle Portal. I use the Early Adopter for Windows NT on a 8.1.6 database.

The best solution is to update your environment to the production release (scripts for Solaris are on OTN, NT are coming soon). Thanks for your question. In order to create simulatable custom components in Multisim you need a SPICE model (Multisim can also understand PSpice Models). The file format for SPICE model can be different according to the manufacturer, for instance: *.cir, *.lib, *.llb. At the end of the day these files are text files that you can open with a text editor, therefore, you can simply copy and paste the model in Multisim.

When you reach the step where you need to enter the SPICE model, simply open the *.lib or *.olb file with a text editor, and copy and paste the model.

I have no issues in trying to help someone as polite as you! It is very nice to have questions answered in an intelligible manner - not unfortunately always the case.
Without being able to debug on your system it is quite difficult to say what might be causing this error - especially as you say this was working in a different system.
I'm sure you've already tried eliminating differences in your authorisations between the two systems? Are you registered as a developer in the new system?
Sorry I'm now just guessing as I've not come across the error myself - hopefully now that we have clearly documented the issue, someone else might be able to shed some light on what might cause it!

We tried to implement Component Based Message Alerting following the steps mentioned in the below blog.

Ours is PI 7.31 dual stack. However, after setting up the job with my own user id, I am getting the below error inside the log of Jobs tab:
javax.jms.JMSSecurityException: You do not have permissions: action alertingVP.queue and instance:name alertingVP.queue
action consumer
instance jms/queue/xi/monitoring/alert/ALERT-TO-MAIL
Please let us know what permission is required to set up the job.

Hi,
Now I am able to receive alert in my mailbox. But it's coming with improper content.
I have set up the job at an interval of every 2 minutes in NWA, and in case if only 1 message fails in IE, in ideal case, I should receive only 1 message details in alert.
However, in every 2 minutes, I am receiving junk data and the number is increasing for the particular scenario for which the alert has been created. Also the Error Category mentioned is showing improper.
But in table SXMSALERTCONTENT I am able to view only the newly added failed entry.
An erroneous alert email content is pasted below:

Set sap Component mandatory while creating the support desk message

When create the support desk message from any application sysytem, the sap component get selected automatically but when we create the suppport desk message from the Easy Access the component wiil be blank, so some user create the support message without giving the component. So we want to make the component as mandatory while createing the support desk message from application system and also set mandatory when we create support message in solman.can anybody help me in setting component mandatory.

View not copied or enhanced with wizard Error while creating Event Handler method in Z Component

In one Z Component (Custom Component), in one of the views, while creating event handler, it gave me error message that view not copied or enhanced with wizard.
I am aware that in Standard Component, if we want to create the event handler method then we need to first Enhance the Component and then we need to enhance the view.
But, in the Z Component (Custom Component), how to create event handler method in one of the views as while creating event handler method i am getting view not copied or enhanced with wizard error.

Add a method in views impl class with naming convention eh_on__* with htmt and html_ex parameters. I dont have have the system right now. Please check any existing event import export parameters.
Check out do handle event method in the same class.
Redefine that method. Call that event method in this handle method. See existing code for reference.
Attach that event to the button on click event in .htm page.

I think your logic is reversed. I think it's better to let users create messages from the application areas from which they are having the problem. Based on the standard SAP component which defaults into the component field, the ticket can be routed to one of your 20 teams. This is where the agent detemination rule for support team can be configured. There are a number of message on the forum regarding support team configuration. This way, if your 20 teams can't solve the problem (for example SAP defect) then the message can be forwarded directly to SAP using the correct component. Good luck.
