Path to integeration server in PI

Hi,
I am very new in PI, I have logged in to the PI server but can't find link to integeration server. Can anyone please tell me what is the path for accessing integeration server in PI.
Regards

Hi,
The Integration Server comprises of the runtime functions, and accesses objects from the Integration Directory , SLD etc.
To access the J2EE tools, the link is:
http://<servername>:500<instance_no>/rep
Logging in through SAP Logon takes us to the ABAP stack of XI. Use T-Code SXMB_IFR to access the above link.
You need to specify more clearly which component of the Integration Server you want to access.

Puloma.

  • How to get the absolute path of logicalhost server domain on Windows Sun

    i am reading a file from Xsql Folder, that is located in the logicalhost Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\applications\j2ee-apps.(IN Sun Application Server)
    I am pretty sure that using the absolute path will solve this issue, so my first question is: How to get the absolute path of logicalhost server domain on Windows?
    i tried with System.getProperty("com.sun.aas.instanceRoot").
    but i am able to retrive Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1 upto this .i am unable to retrive Sun\AppServer\domains\domain1\applications\j2ee-apps.
    please suggest me how u can get absolute path in sun application server

  • How to get the absolute path of logicalhost server domain on Windows?

    My logicalhost server domain behaves strangely. I am reading a file from collaboration definiton, that is located in the logicalhost/is/domains/domain1/config folder. I thought, that this folder is used as an application root folder so I can read files like ./file from there. And it worked.
    But then I've installed the domain as a Windows service, restarted the PC. When the domain1 gets started, I get exceptions saying that the file can't be found. Then I restart the domain (in domainmgr.bat) and it works again.
    I am pretty sure that using the absolute path will solve this issue, so my first question is: How to get the absolute path of logicalhost server domain on Windows?
    And my second question is: Why does this happen?

    The default folder for a Windows Service is the system32 folder contrary to the instance root folder when starting it as a normal process.
    That's the why, haven't tried the how, but you should be able to get the value by calling System.getProperty("com.sun.aas.instanceRoot").
    Hope this helps

  • How to check file is exists  in specified path in content server or not

    i m using JDevloper 11.1.1.6.0
    I want to upload file using RIDC functions,but before uploading it i have to check wheather it is already present on specified path in content server or not.
    How i check it.

    I tried to write a (simpler) version of my own code:
        public static Results CheckInToFolder(File f) {
            // create the binder
            DataBinder checkinDoc = idcClient.createBinder();
            // populate the binder with the parameters
            checkinDoc.putLocal("IdcService", "CHECKIN_UNIVERSAL");
            checkinDoc.putLocal("dDocTitle",
                                "Document checked in through RIDC at " +
                                new Date());
            checkinDoc.putLocal("dDocType", "Document");
            checkinDoc.putLocal("dDocAccount", "");
            checkinDoc.putLocal("dSecurityGroup", "Public");
            checkinDoc.putLocal("dCollectionID", "909964822906001607");
            // add a file
            // execute the request
            try {
                checkinDoc.addFile("primaryFile", f);
            } catch (IOException e) {
                myExecutable.logEvent("File" + f.getName() + " not found.");
                return null;

            try {
                checkinResponse = idcClient.sendRequest(userContext, checkinDoc);
                myExecutable.logEvent("Check-in successful. Size:" + f.length() + " bytes");
            catch (oracle.stellent.ridc.protocol.ServiceException e) {
                            myExecutable.logEvent("ServiceException");
                            e.printStackTrace();
                            return null;
            catch (IdcClientException e) {
                myExecutable.logEvent("Check-in failed.");
                e.printStackTrace();
                return null;
            DataBinder checkinData;
            try {
                checkinData = checkinResponse.getResponseAsBinder();
                Results res =
                    new Results(checkinData.getLocal("dID"), checkinData.getLocal("dDocName"));
                myExecutable.logEvent("Successfully got response - dID is " +
                                      res.getDID() + ", dDocName is " +
                                      res.getDDocName());
                return res;
            catch (oracle.stellent.ridc.protocol.ServiceException e) {
                            myExecutable.logEvent("ServiceException2");
                            //e.printStackTrace();
                            return null;
            catch (IdcClientException e) {
                myExecutable.logEvent("Unable to get response.");
                e.printStackTrace();
            return null;
        }What I'm getting is this:
    Mon Aug 13 14:51:29 CEST 2012 0ms: Started
    Mon Aug 13 14:51:29 CEST 2012 57ms: Connection to idc://192.168.44.129:4444 successfully established.
    Mon Aug 13 14:51:29 CEST 2012 102ms: Check-in successful. Size:702 bytes
    Mon Aug 13 14:51:29 CEST 2012 5ms: ServiceException2
    Mon Aug 13 14:51:29 CEST 2012 0ms: Finished
    This means:
    a) it does, indeed, return the exception (oracle.stellent.ridc.protocol.ServiceException)
    b) you could use this mechanism for your code
    c) it is, indeed, primaryFile.name what's being checked
    I will also take a look at the other service to perform the check prior to check-in service call.

  • Convert file path in application server as link

    How can we convert file path in application server as link to send email.
    Thanks
    Suresh

    Your app server folders have a mappable location on your network, e.g,
    server\path\filename.  Use an HTML anchor tag and build the link with code.  You'd be better off storing files on a file server (write to a mapped location from the app server) and link to there (same process).

  • Naming Convention for  path in Application Server

    Hello Guru's,
                        I asked my basis team to create flat file source system. he asked me " what path to follow, any sub directories"?.
    they are asking me naming convention for a path in App server to create i think ? usually what will be the naming convention for path.
    please help me
    Thanks,
    Prashanth

    Hi,
    Create flatfile source system is no need path and sub directory on app server. You can create yourself go TCODE RSA1>Source system>file-->create.
    path and sub directory only need if you want to load data from flatfile which is stored in application server. This will be determined in extraction tab of your datasource and infopackage.
    Hope this helps.

  • Standard Upgrade Path from VMWare Server?

    I've been using VMWare Server for years to test my software. Specifically I have 2 "beige box" PCs running CentOS running VMWare Server running various versions of Windows Server as domain controllers and file servers as well as numerous workstations. I have a complete mini multi-domain Windows network. When I run the tests for my software it really pushes the 2-3 vms involved with a lot of network communication and some disk activity.
    With care and some brute force this has worked well. At least I don't need a stack of PCs. And it's free so it's hard to complain. But unfortunately it's not terribly reliable. The web interface stops working - sometimes only after a day. Clocks drift causing authentication issues. Generally bad things happen if I try to run more than 2 images on the same server. I've gotten to be pretty good at combating these problems but I'm hoping to find something a little more reliable.
    So now I'm willing to actually pay for something (gah!) and I would like to upgrade. But VMWare has so many products I just have no idea what I should be looking for.
    What is the standard upgrade path from VMWare Server?
    Mike

    Ok. Two people say use ESXi so I guess I'll just try to burn an ESXi DVD and see what it's like. But ...
    Is performance really good enough to compile large projects and do backups over and so on?
    VMware Server has worked well enough for me over the years but performance was not like real hardware. But the real problem was reliability. If I ran more than 2 VMs at a time, eventually they would just get their tentacles in a tangle and I would have to kill them and delete lock files and bah! I'm going to assume by your endorsement that ESXi doesn't have any of these problems.
    Also, the machine I'm using is a lowly DELL i660 i3-3240 with 8GB of memory. I paid $429 USD for it at a local consumer electronics store! This is no server. Will it even work?

  • Css/js relative path for embedded server

    We have recently begun using relative paths for css and js files in our deployed applications:
    <link href="../../resources/css/global3.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    <script language="JavaScript" src="../../resources/script/globalScript.js" type="text/JavaScript"></script>
    I cannot figure out where to put the resources folder on my local machine so the pages will link correctly when running a project on my embedded server in JDev. Can anyone please help?

    Hi,
    the embedded OC4J has its configuration files at
    \jdeveloper_installdir\jdev\system\oracle.j2ee.<version>\embedded-oc4j
    However, if you use relative addressing then web applications try to find them relative to the public_html directory of the Viewlayer project

  • How to find a path in Application server?

    Hi,
    I have a reqirement that i need to download the original document which is attached in the DIR links for each line item in the PO.
    Say for Eg. user is uploading the original document in CV03n.
    Through program i have to download it and save it in local desktop.
    But as per my concern when user uploads that document in CV03N,  it should get updated in application server.
    I wants to know how can i find that path through the document got updated in AL11.
    Please let me know if you have any idea on this.
    Also please let me know if my question is not clear.
    Regards,
    Prabu

    Hi Prabu,
    It depends on how DMS is implemented in your place.
    If DMS is implemented along with CONTENT SERVER, then the actual document uploaded is stored in CONTENT SERVER and only a link is saved in SAP DB and whenever you refer to this link the image is being retrieved and displayed.
    If you dont have content server then the uploaded documents are stored in your application server only. Generally the big companies which implement DMS do have a content server otherwise DB size will grow enormously in no time.
    Once you check out the basics of ur requirement, then search through FM's available related to DMS.
    Hope this answer helps.

  • BI 7.0 infospoke - how to change standard destination path on appl. server

    Hello,
    I have the following problem:
    I need to extract large amounts of data from infocubes to flatfiles. I have created an infospoke to do this. However, in this infospoke, the destination path, when I choose application server, is fixed.
    In BW 3.x, there is a document "BW 3.1 Open Hub Extraction Enhancement Using Literal Filename and Path.pdf" that describes how to change the destination path for the application server.
    This solution does not work for BI 7.0, I get short dumps, probably due to ABAP OO.
    I need to extract the data to flat files on the application server, not on my local machine, nor into a table in SAP itself, so I need to change the destination path, because the amount of free storage is limited in the standard destination path.
    Has anyone encountered this problem in BI 7.0 and solved it?
    best regards
    Ting

    Sorry, wrong subforum, will close this

    Hi Ting.
      I never had a simmilar problem but, if you go to your InfoSpoke, right click --> "Change" you can see (and change... ) the following values:
    Destination Type: FILE  (the one you have choosen)
    Application Server: Check Box (I think this is your setting)
    Server name: (BW server)
    Type of File Name: (Here you can choose Between "File Name" or "Logical File Name")
    Appl.Server File N: "MY_FILE.CSV" (for example)
    Directory: (The directory you want - take a look at the end of this post )
    Separator: (The field separator)
    Note : If you are working with Linux or Unix you have to look if the BW system user has the corresponding rigths to write in the FileSystem.
    .          In the beginning I advice you to use something like this /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<XX>/work
    Hope it helps.

  • How to validate a Particular Directory or file path in Presentation server.

    Hi SAP gurus,
    I am having a requirement where I want to download a file into the Presentation server.
    The file path to download will be provided in a parameter.
    What I want to do is to throw a message to the user if He/She provides a wrong Directory or File path.
    For example :
    Say the user is providing the file download path as " E:\test.txt", but there is no "E" drive or such directory in the presentation. So in this case I should be able to check the wrong Directory provided by the user and throw some message to the user saying there is no such Directory present. Please give a proper directory or similar messages.
    I have found a FM: PFL_CHECK_DIRECTORY but i am not able to use it properly.
    So do you have any FM or any method and its explanation to fulfill my requirement .
