Problem in changing the internal table contents of a standard program
Dear All,
I am making changes to internal table LT_PPDIT of standard program SAPLHRPT in the user exit EXIT_SAPLACC4_001 while payroll posting to accounting with tcode PC00_M99_CIPE. But though the changed value of LT_PPDIT is visible within the exit still the value of LT_PPDIT when we come outside exit is the same as what was before entering exit.
Please suggest is there any way of modifying internal table of a standard program in the user exit.

I think the internal table is getting refreshed or something like that after the user exit.
Try debugging after the user exit and put breakpoints at clear and modify statements.
Then you ll find out where its regaining the oringinal value after getting changes.
After locating that point try finding some enhancmenent point there and including your code so that your value of internal able gets modified.

but you could check PCR XDPR and function PRDNT. -

Thanks in adanceMy requirement is based on a project to develop new sap product which can handle complex crew management for industries like railways and airlines,product is still in protoype phase and will basicaly cover right from dispatching crew to various sites to generating there payroll. standard sap works on basis of day and time. but crew industory work on trip. a crew for example pilot fly form point A to B get paid/claims based on on that single trip and whatever activities he has done in that trip. so purely this is based on trip and not day or hours, now we are thinking about using RPTIMEOO as a tool to calculate and create wage type beacuse at the end of the day payroll is getting generated in SAP and also all the crew employee will be setup as master data. this whole product will have its own screeen to capture activties and opereations . will be build on top of sap hcm.
so was thinking any ways sap says that you can create custom schema and rules but those standard internal tables and cluster are of no use because of the structure is based in trip, wage type will be based in miles that crew travel.
so trying to find how far this RPTIME00 is flexible .. and is possible to create custom function. becoz at end we are going to update payroll 2010 which can be mapped some how. RPTIME00 can also give clients to add there own custom functions in future if any new req comes.
if this is not possible i.e RPTIMEOO can not use custom cluster , then we might have to write abap programs ti do calculation but only problem any new features to be added will lead to code change.

Regarding Exporting and Importing internal table
Hello Experts,
I have two programs:
1) Main program: It create batch jobs through open_job,submit and close job.Giving sub program as SUBMIT.
I am using Export IT to memory id 'MID' to export internal table data to sap memory in the subprogram.
The data will be processed in the subprogram and exporting data to sap memory.I need this data in the main program(And using import to get the data,but it is not working).
Importing IT1 from memory id 'MID' to import the table data in the main program after completing the job(SUBMIT SUBPROGRAM AND RETURN).
Importing is not getting data to internal table.
Can you please suggest something to solve this issue.

How to upload a file in application server to an internal table
Hi,
I am asked to upload a file from application server to internal table. Can you please suggest me the ways to do it or the function module which helps to browse the application server file names.

i have 3 internal table: gt_header, gt_body and gt_footer. how can i used all 3 in gui_download fm. here is my sample code:

Maybe you can declare another internal table, with all fields is type C and length as you wanted.
Loop those three itabs, append to this new itab. then call this FM download.

IMPORT Statement Issue (Internal Table)
Hi All,
I am using an IMPORT statement to get all the data from other report's internal table. Now whenever this (the other report's internal table) is changed (for field addition, etc), my report throws a dump. Hence, everytime I have to add these fields in my program as well.
Is there any way by which I can include the whole internal table of that report in my program just like
'INCLUDE STRUCTURE VBRK'.
