Check the Period parameter and date modifier
and check the assigment of the above said parameters with the pay roll area in table V_T549A
later generate the Pay roll periods and check
there might be some in consistency while generateing the pay roll periods

  • Re: Mid Payroll Period

    Hi to All Peers,
Has any one came across the mid payroll period and done the run in the month of March & April for Payroll India????
My clients payroll dates are from 21.xx.xxxx to 20.xx.xxxx of every month.
I am getting an error in the period for March & April ie 21.03.xxxx-20.04.xxxx... For other periods its coming correct.
The Error is "PAY SCALE GROUPING FOR ALLOWANCES FOR PERS NO IS NOT DEFINED ON 20.04.xxxx"
I thought in the first instance its a problem of dates but I checked from scratch all the dates which I had maintained are correct.
I wrote a mail to OSS also they said its consulting issue. So did not get any help from them.
Kindly Help me out. Looking forward for your valuable inputs.
    Regards
    Pavani

    HI Sandeep & Om,
Thanks very much for the inputs.
    I got an idea and has made two payroll periods ie 21.03.xxxx - 31.03.xxxx & 01.04.xxxx - 20.04.xxxx.
In the period parameter I mentioned in the time unit it as Monthly as there is no Days in the Standard.
When I am running the payroll its displaying as 21.03.xxxx - 31.03.xxxx But calculating for the whole month which it should not happen it should calculate on the base of payroll period not on the base of time unit.
Can U pls kindly help me out.
    Awaiting for ur inputs.

  • Payroll period does not correspond to master data error in INLK run & soln

    Dear All,
Just wanted to share this Issue and solution which i found after debugging.
I am not sure it is 100% correct.
I am working on indian payroll and was doing lagacy data transfer with INLK schema
i was used to get error '2 payroll period does not correspond to master data'
and this was for only new joinees in that period .what i found out after debugging is
for e.g. employee is hired in 03.06.2011 .and record in t558b is
    90300035 1  2011    1 2011 3 01.06.2011 31.06.2011
where 01.06.2011 is a for period begin date ,
now in payroll program this is being checked with joining date in following subroutine check_aper_versus_t558b
so it ends up with above error.now if i go and change 01.06.2011 to 03.06.2011 in T558B then payroll will be successful.
I dont no whether this is right approach but this removed that error.Just wanted to share so
    It might help the members.

la diferencia es la fecha del campo FPBEG que debe ser la fecha para los empleados que no esten con el año o periodo completo

  • Employment Status at Start of Payroll Period

    Hi all,
I have a requirement where certain amount is to be deducted from all employees who work for even a single day in the month i.e. if the employee leaves the organisation in say April and his full and final settlement is being run in May, then this amount will be deducted for April and not for May.
I have made a rule to fetch the amount from Constants table. Within this i have used operation STATU to get the employment status from IT0000. But the issue is that the operation STATU gives the employment status of the employee for End-date of For Period. And hence I am unable to get the amount deducted for the final period (for April in the example quoted above).
Please help me to get the employment status at the begining of For Period. Or if there is some other way to do it, please help.
    VK

    Hi Michael,
We deduct Rs. 250 per employee per month towards certain fund. This amount is deducted as long as the employee is in service. In the month of leaving service also this amount is to be deducted. But in case final settlement for the employee is being run say 2 month after his separation, then the amount should not be deducted for the months after his separation.
    Regarding your queries:
    1. I want to run payroll for May with retro for April. The amount already deducted in April (For April in April) should remain as it was and for May in May, there should not be any deduction.
    2. Since this can be done through reading employement status at the start of payroll period, I want to read the status at the start of payroll period (For Period).
    3. This depends, there may be some cases where we need to run payroll long after employee has left service.
    4. The amount is deduction towards certain fund which is fixed Rs. 250 per month till employee is in service.
    Waiting for some positive response.

  • Payroll - Changing the payroll period dates in live system

We are on a bi-weekly payroll schedule.  Requirement was the setup the pay period from Monday to Sunday (14 days).  However, it got created as Sunday to Saturday (14 days) in error.  Now the time recording does not coincide with the pay period.  I believe we can change the period start and end dates for all pay periods in V_T549Q.  This will make one of my pay period 15 days and I can continue correctly from then on.
I am curious to know whether there are any "side effects" if I do this in a live system.  Have any of you did this type of thing in SAP payroll?
    Thanks
    Joe

Why do you want to change table entries directly in PRD.....You can generate payroll periods in Dev through report RPUCTP00...and then make sure your table entries correct in Dev and then move to PRD.
Generate Payroll periods as per your Biweekly through report RPUCTP00.....Enter your Biweekly Period Parameter, Date modifier, Start date, Final year, Start date of the fiscal year ,payday rule etc...and execute.

  • Leaving Action executed in the Middle Of the Payroll Period

    Dear All,
I am Trying to execute Leaving action For the Employee in the middle of the Payroll period thereby changing his Employee Group to Pensioner and also his payroll area to that of Pensioner. However the System is not allowing me to do so and is saying that Payroll area cannot be changed in the middle Of the Payroll Period.Plz Suggest what can be done so that the Leaving action Of the Employee can be executed in the Middle of the Payroll Period.
    Thanks
    Punam Jha

    Hi,
In a payroll period, you can not include the same employee in two different payroll processing.  Hence, you can assign the new payroll area at the beginning of the next payroll period. Alternatively, execute the separation action with the last date of the pay period.

  • Difference Between Current Day and fist day of the payroll period

    Hi,
How do i find the difference between the current day and the first day of the payroll period with period parameter XX.
Operation VARSTFDYXX is used to decide if the current day is the first day of the payroll period. But is there any operation available to check the difference in exact number of days.
I know hrs=y is used to find difference between current day and a date specification record from IT0041, but i need to check difference between current day and first day from a payroll period parameter.
    Any response is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Imaneul Rajiv

No! haven't seen it at all! Do I have to drain the battery completely and then charge it? I did that the first day I bought the phone and yet the stats are the same for me
PS: I am referring to the Call Time stats and not the Usage/Standby stats

  • How to get the last day of the payroll period

    Hi all,
I need to get the last day of the payroll period e.g. last day of Jan 2007 is 31 Jan 2007. Can anyone suggest as to how to get it?
    Thanks,
    Madhu

T549S contains the payroll periods with pay date.  T549Q contains the begin and end dates of the payroll period.
You can select from the appropriate table (or from both depending on your given data) to get the end date of the period.
    Hope that helps.

Is there any function module to get the sequence number directly based on PERNR and payroll period dates? if so could you let me know.

        TABLES
          in_rgdir        = it_rgdir

        MESSAGE ID sy-msgid TYPE sy-msgty NUMBER sy-msgno
                WITH sy-msgv1 sy-msgv2 sy-msgv3 sy-msgv4.
      ENDIF.
check whether "Pay date for payroll result" with in Start Date and
End date, and "Reason for Off-Cycle Payroll" is initial
      LOOP AT it_rgdir WHERE paydt >= v_begda
                             AND paydt <= v_endda AND
                             void IS INITIAL
                             AND ocrsn IS INITIAL
                             AND srtza = 'A'.
        v_seqnr = it_rgdir-seqnr.

  • HR PNPCE - Selection Screen - Payroll Period not available

    Hi all,
I am using PNPCE and have created a custom Report Category.  I have unchecked the "Data selection = EE selection" so that I now have 2 seperate period drop down boxes.  I have selected all period options for both selection periods.
Problem is that under the "Data Selection Period" none of the Payroll Period options are available for using even though I selected them in the Report Category. ???  Anyone have this problem before?
If I go back and check the "Data selection = EE selection" then they appear and are available for selecting.
    Thanks, Mark

    Hi ,
You can get selection-options  by pressing F1 then technical attributes .
Then in AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT event you write the following code ---
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT  /  INITIALIZATION.
    select_option_name-sign = 'I'.
    select_option_name-sign  = 'EQ'.
    select_option_name-sign  = sy-datum.
    append select_option_name .

  • Using TVARVC to Dynamically Set the Payroll Period in Standard Reports

    Hi,
I am trying to define the selection screen parameters for the Pay Scale Reclassification (RPIPSR00) program such that the payroll period chosen is always +1 of the current period (i.e. the next payroll period).
I understand that I can use TVARVC to dynamically determine the field value of a selection screen variant.  The question is after I have created a variable in the table, how do I go about ensuring that the program uses the next payroll period?
    Regards,
    Augustine

You have to update TVARVC with the desired value - either via a batch program or manually.

  • Control records - Payroll Period

    Hi Expert,
Can anyone help me with following situations?
I am creating control records...I am facing problem what should I enter in "Payroll Period" when I have defined period parameter, monthly..
Looking forward to your prompt reply.
    Regards,
    XXX

    Hi,
First you have to understand the concept of payroll period. Payroll period is generated using period parameter and date modifier. Payroll period defines the exact start and end date of a period and the pay day. Here it defines the period number, which is very important to identify for which payroll period you are currently with. To make it clear let us have an example. A company is paying a group of employees monthly. In a year there are twelve months, so every payroll period is given a number. If the payroll period is for jan 01 to jan 31, 2011. It would be indicated as payroll period 01 in the year 2011. It should be generated before using it in control record. Based on your start and end date of the period, you have to enter those values. Check the table v_t549q to check whether the required payroll periods exists or not. If available use the relevant payroll period. Note that the payroll period used to create the payroll control records must be one period before the period in which you want to go live. Eg. If you are to go live in period 05,2011. You must enter period 04,2005 in the control record. To generate payroll period use the tcode OG00
