PCUI : Problem in Process_Event

I have created a Z PCUI Application.At the item level there are two buttons on tab namely 'Save','Confirmed'. When the first screen appears with item list we select the item check boxes and press save.It saves the items into Z Table.Now the screen refreshes and displays the remaining items and when we now select more than one item on the screen it only takes one.We can see this in debugging mode, by checking the it_selected_objects table of the process_event.Can any body help me why this happenning.Has someone faced such a problem while selecting items on the PCUI Screen.

CRM PCUI Issue; tab product; no of items displayed configurable?

Hello everybody,
I am facing one CRM PCUI problem.
customer would like to set no of items, which can be max. displayed in CRM PCUI application CRMD_BUS2000115, on tab "product" on Level "Detail Area 1". As default max. 10 could be displayed, this is however not enough. if there are more items assigned to one order, page up/down functionality can be used, that's however not really helpfull for customer. e.G. for orders with 100 positions user hast to click 10 times to display all positions.
Which class/method is used in standard to set no of items to be max. displayed?
could I adjust that without modification?

Hi,
You need to identify the field group that you want to increase the 'no. of lines'.
say the field group is 'xxxx'
goto transaction CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C => Application Element => Field Group => Field Group.
Search the field group 'xxxx'. Now, select that line and scroll to the very right. You will see a parameter as 'No. Of Lines' and the value in that field will be '10'. change it to your desired value and re-generate the Field Group 'xxxx'.
This will increase the no. of lines that u want to diaplay on the screen by default.

Several clients in CRM PCUI. Problems reusing the same iView for ValueHelp

Hi, all:
We are implementing a new scenario with PCUI (based on Case Management) and using the client number 400.
The problem is that this is the second scenario because there is an already customized scenario using client 200 of the CRM server and the same EP.
These are the symptoms:
a) Launching the application from the SAP_GUI (like a CRM BSP Application) the main screen and the value helps (pop-up windows) are working correctly.
b) Launching the application from a newly create BSP iView, the main screen appears correctly; but the pop-up windows are not working. These are the issues i have seen:
1.- The system object with the system alias SAP_CRM points to client 200.
2.- The iView that is called when the value help is clicked has the value SAP_CRM as the system alias. And it is accessing client 200 even thought the URL parameter sap-client=400 is passed to it.
I tried a workaround copying standard iView located in:
pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.crm/com.sap.pct.crm.roles/com.sap.pct.crm.core.defaultservices/com.sap.pct.crm.core.valuehelp
to another location in Portal Content and changing the parameter system alias to SAP_CRM_400 (which is a correct system object pointing to client 400). But i don't know how to configure the search to use this iview instead of the standard one.
Can anyone help me with this workaround or with other solution to this problem?

Sorting problem in PCUI

Hi Forum,
After we upgraded our CRM system to SP10, we are not able to sort in PCUI/EP for any field. Can somebody tell me what can be the problem for this?

Hi,
We have similar sorting issues with items in the order.And we found that the EEWB fields added caused the problem. If I recollect correctly we applied a oss note to resolve this isssue.
If you do have EEWB fileds where soring is not working , if you aearch oss you could find the note.

Problem with Help Link in search result screen of PCUI

Hi,
I am trying to access the pcui applications that came out of box with crm using BAB,everthing is working fine but got a problem with "Help" link in top right (beside personalize link) the search result area of all the PCUI screens.
when i click on that i get "page cannot be displayed" error, seems that it is pointing to some wrong URL, where should i change the url to point to our company's help site for that link..
clicking on the properties of that link shows that it is pointing to

My response help resolve Kodru's Message which he also posted in EP Implementation Forum. He resolved it by changing the variant noted below.

First I would check if the crm_bsp_f1_help service has been activated in SICF.
Secondly I would check the settings in the IMG -> SAP WAS -> Know. Mgt. -> Settings in App. Sys. -> Usage of Help Type "Dynamic Help". The Tab PlainHtmlHttp should have a variant called CRM_HELP, Server Name (help.sap.com) and path.

Problem in creating follow-up in PCUI

need some help,
While creating the follow-up transactions in PCUI, the fields are getting greyed out.
Eg., Activity to Opportunity
Opportunity to Quotation or
Quotation to Order etc.
The followup scenarios are working fine in GUI.

Hi Karunakar,
You need to maintain blueprint table entries for the Back End CRM roles that you have created. Goto Transaction CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C navigate to Navigation(URL generation) "Assign object Method to Role" .
Add a new entry for your custom role if you have assigned the custom role in portal to the Enterprise Profile and under object type select OpportunityCRM , Method type is "Application" and Implementation Type : S - BSP as external Service and in ID Page/Service give the PCD location of the Portal Role that you are using.
Repeat the same procedure for the other followup scenarios by selecting the corresponding Object type for Quotation and Order.

i have an error like when iam trying to view PCUI applications through TR.code SE80 given BSP application CRM_BSP_FRAME inthe Text box,and Expanded Views and selected .htm,Here the following error giving
"The system cannot Test a view"

2 ways to test your PCUI application without portal :
- go to 'CRMC_PCUITOOLS\analysis tools\determine the correct model access class' and choose the application you want to see in the list (F4)
- SE80\BSP application\CRM_BSP_FRAME\go to pages with flow logic\choose page select.htm and test it. You can choose the application you want to see.

we are working on CRM 5.0 & EP7.0
i have created custom function module (z function module) for generate the customs BP number( Dep country ,region) for BP t-code in GUI (CRM) System , when test through PCUI i can not get the PCUI field values like counry , region....so i cant generate the custom BP number depend upon the country and region,
when user type the country,region,company name,city in PCUI
how can i get PCUI field values ( country,region,company name,city)
in GUI (SAP- CRM) System.
PCUI field values ( country,region,company name,city) is not stored in ABAP memory, like
1. CALL FUNCTION 'BUP_BUPA_MEMORY_GET_ALL'
TABLES
t_but000 = t_but000

Activity Scheduling Calender problem in PCUI

Activtiy scheduling calendar does not show all the activties in calendar.
For that you have to see the calendar in activity.
All the activities that have been scheduled using Activty scheduling will be shown in the calendar and they will have different colors like Blue (indicates a clash with other activity), Green (no clash) and White ( activity in calendar accepted).
Instead of seeing through the week view the list of activities scheduled or having already appointments, it is possible to see the scheduled activities in graph format on calendar and once you accept the activity, you can see that it turns into Green or white or blue indicator.

EP 7.0 PCUI Open Link in new Window Problem

Hi all,
we have recently upgraded our portal to EP 7.0. Now I have the impression that something has been changed regarding the link navigation in this version.
E.g.: In the former version EP 6.0 it was possible to right click a Trans. No. and to say "Open in new window". Portal would jump to the correct navigation entry within the portal navigation structure.
Now in EP 7.0 the exact same action leads to reloading the start page. This makes me assume that the portal can not resolve the link correctly. Although directly clicking the link opens the correct navigation entry within the portal navigation structure.
Does anybody know what has changed within the EP 7.0 navigation process versus the EP 6.0 one?
Users complain that they can no longer do what they did before....therefore I am looking for a solution/workaround.

... one thing I bumped into during my research is the CRM table CRMC_PRT_CUSTOM which could be of use. I think the navigation issue has something to do with the CRM URL Dispatcher configuration which should be made in the above mentioned table.
Unfortunately I have no idea which values are needed in this table in order to get the CRM URL DISPATCHER functionality work... .
Any ideas are greatly appreciated :).

Creation of Dropdown "custom" field in PCUI

Hello
I have created a new field through EEWB and want to place it in both form view and list view of Accounts transaction (crmm_account) in PCUI. This field should be come as a drop down field and should have specific values to be picked from the domain associated with its data element.
Problem is
1. When I converted it into a drop down field through Blueprint tables, it is showing properly in form view but "not" in list view. In list view It creates a "drop down list" but without any option values.
2. If I dont create a dropdown field then it gets displayed as a Input Field with "F4" option list. However, it lets a user enter ANY value in the Input field. (Ideally it should allow user to put only the values being shown in F4 options list like Country Field)
Any input to resolve the issue is welcome.

You may want to look at IMG and check your entries for the respective fields.
If you dont want users to enter any value, check and mark the respective control attributes for those fields.

EEWB Fields in PCUI Screen

Hi All
I am facing a weird problem for a long time and have not got any documentation to refer.
I have created a new field through EEWB and want to see it in both Form & List View of Accounts transaction(CRMM_ACCOUNT) in PCUI.
I realised that extended field through EEWB are created in a Field Group(FG) "CI_EEW_BUT000". However the "Search Result Area" Field Group (ACC_SRES_01) contains a 32 Digit Number Field Group in it. Example (4A934616C4104543B9A972B516D6C4E9) . This Field Group in turn contains Field Group "CI_EEW_BUT000".
However what I have realised is that this dynamic field group number keeps on getting changed.
But today I can not locate this dynamic field group in the main field group table (Transaction: CRM_BSP_VCLS_FLDGRP) but to my surprise I still find it included in the Field Group "ACC_SRES_01".
Now the implication is that, I can not see my extended field properly in List View of accounts transaction(crmm_account). I have tried umpteen times to include this field in List view through CRM designer but it is not working. However field is visible in FORM View.
Does anybody have any idea that how can extended field groups be controlled and how can I display my extended field in List View ?

Hi Vishal,
The naming convention sometimes is wrong although it has been created by a standard SAP function or program. Don't worry about this. Many standard PCUI applications are wrong in name conventions terms. Don't care.
However, naming convention is not the problem with your layout generation (100%), but I'm not sure what's the problem.
The option you have is to create a new field group, based on the same screen structure than CI_EEW_BUT000 with the same fields. Try to follow the name convention but this is not very important. Regenerate your new field group (with the correspondant view) and try it.
If not, perhaps the perhaps the Weblog PC-UI and Easy Enhancement Workbench (EEW) Integration helps you.

Problem with roles in CRM 5.0 PC-UI

I have a problem with CRM 5.0 PC-UI.
When I have user profile SAP_ALL, BSP's are showed correctly.
When I'm using restricted profile (for example role 'Account manager'), for some BSP's I'm receiving this error:

I've explored the role SAP_PCC_ACCOUNT_MANAGER in pfcg transaction, and realized:
on tab 'Menu' in section 'Portal Roles'
when I click on service: HS PC-UI PC-UI_CRMD_MKTSEG
In section 'External Service'
There are only '?????????' in the field 'Type of Ext. Service' instead of 'PC-UI'
and strange chars in the field 'Service'.
But for example service: HS PC-UI PC-UI_CRMM_CONTACT is OK, and I'm receiving BSP.
I think, that something important is missing.
Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?

I am not sure whether you resolveed this issue already..
Under Portal Roles you find PCUI external services which refers to auth objects in order to access PCUI application.
Read thru the section "Tracing Authority Objects of Blueprint Applications" under PCUI cook book .
