Pdf sharing option

Hi,
Need to know the option for sharing the pdf by multiusers while using same time.

Two points:
# If you've already downloaded the file, Firefox doesn't control how it's opened, so Options > Applications won't do anything. You'll need to change the setting at the Windows level.
# If you're viewing an embedded PDF, it'll load with a plugin (which Adobe has but Foxit does not) so it'll load with Adobe and not Foxit.

Open file in Photoshop CS4 with PDF open options

Hi, I need to open Illustrator file in Photoshop with PDF open options and set the crop page options to media box. I am not sure how to do it. Here what I have that doesn't work:

Open options are a list… So you supply like so…
open theFile as PDF with options ¬
{class:PDF open options, bits per channel:eight, constrain proportions:true, crop page:media box, mode:CMYK, page:i, resolution:300, suppress warnings:true, use antialias:true, use page number:true}
Where 'theFile' is an alias of your PDF file and 'i' is your page to open (if in a loop) else use an integer…

"PDF Open Options" in Applescript

So I am trying to batch convert a bunch of PDFs to JPEG files as part of a larger Applescript, and I'm finding that some of the parameters in "PDF Open Options" are ignored. Namely, the "height", "width" and "constrain proportions" parameters.
This code is lifted directly from the Photoshop CS3 Scripting Guide (with filename changed, of course):

In the resulting file, the "resolution" is correct, but the height and width are calculated using the PDF's original height and width multiplied by the resolution, and the image is constrained to the original proportions.
I thought it might be a collision with specifying the resolution and the height/width in pixels, so I tried omitting the resolution, but then it just defaults to 300.
Anyone else create a script that opens PDFs and run into this?

(If those parameters are deprecated since CS2, it's probably bad form for Adobe to use them in their documentation for CS3. Just sayin'!)
Anyway, it looks like the shell script you quoted gives the page height in points with an assumed resolution of 72 DPI. I can use that with my target dimension to calculate what to set the resolution to.
In case it helps anyone else, here's the working code I came up with:

All of the images coming out of this script are just over 1000 pixels at their widest dimension. Since it's not critical that they be exactly 1000 (just very close), I was able to completely eliminate the resizing portion of the script to save even more processing time.

I updated my MacBook Pro and my iMac to Mavericks and now I see that the scanner sharing option in System Preferences is disapperad..
Can someone help me?

Are you aware you can use Image Capture located in HD > Applications to scan with?
Connect the scanner to your Mac whether Wi-Fi or USB.
Launch Image Capture.
Click the very small black box bottom left side of the Image Capture window.
You'll see this pop up menu: Connecting this (device) opens:
You can select a default app to scan (Image Capture) and select a folder from the Imort To pop up menu on the right to save scanned files to.

Facebook, Twitter and Flickr sharing option removal

Good morning,
I just bought a brand new Iphone 5S with Ios 7.05 on board.
I have seen that when you click share on something (like a photos) you have the option to share with social application like Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.
Now I don't have these app installed and I don't have any account with them.
How I can remove the sharing option?

I think is not very fair to link external application like this.
An Os generally speaking should be free of external application, or at least, the user should be able to delete them and their presence.
I am not also really sure that this is compliant with some laws in some countries. I remember Google had similar issue with some application on their phone.
Anyway this is only to share ideas, I guess I will take your suggestion :-)

Final Cut Pro X not giving Sharing options

Ok I finished a small project it's only 1:17 long and FInal Cut is not allowing me to lick on any sharing options that it shows? It has been doing this a bit lately. I not sure what i need to do to be abel to get FCPX to let me export and share my projects? anyone else dealing with this or has delt with it and has the fix for it?

Then you need to outline all text before savng the PDF.
Make sure you do this on a copy of the file.

How to set PDF Job option using FDK11?

I have a tool to convert Framebook into PDF and this works good. But the generated pdf is not of the same size as it is generated through FrameMaker Save as PDF. With the FrameMaker API, I get a dialog box to choose the different PDF Job options available. I came across a similar provision with FDK which also has a property to set the PDF Job options but it doesnt work as expected. Please correct me if my approach is wrong.

As far as I know, the only way to specify PDF options is by programmatically displaying the PDF Options dialog (via WinAPI calls), "selecting" the options and "pressing" the OK button. There have been numerous discussions on this topic on the Yahoo frame_dev group ..

You may be able to set the options as you're doing, but I don't think they are "set" until you display the dialog and "press" the OK button.

Adding sharing options from within a page

We would like to add sharing options like "Tweet it" or "Email it" from within a page and not dependant on the viewer
is this doable ?
If not, can we have a button inside the page which triggers the viewer's sharing option ?

You'll have to code it as a hyperlink yourself that navigates out of DPS to the browser to do the share. I believe National Geographic does this on some pages with a Twitter and FB icon. There's no way to trigger the share menu via a button on the page.
