PDF Unemployment Tax Forms

My users have requested that I change the PDFs for Unemployment that come out of tax reporter.  They would like the "premium due" carried down to the "Total Due".  Has anyone else made changes to these forms?
I am in transaction SFP.  I cannot seem to get the data to come in.  I tried creating the field from scratch and binding T005 to it.  I tried to copy the field from "preium due" and paste it by the "Total Due".  I even tried dragging T005 from the data view to the "Total Due" area.  Nothing is working.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and rewarded.
Thanks!
Mary

Yes.  The value in field T005 shows up before and after my changes in the "Premium Due" area.  It just doesn't show up when I put the same field in the "Total Due" line.

  • Saved as tax form PDF shift to the right

I copied PDFs of tax forms from the IRS web site. I then filled them out in Preview mode and tried to save these files on my hard drive. When I did the copy of the pdf shifted to the right and erased part of the document on the far right side. How can I save this PDF in Preview and not have the documents shift?

I have seen that with some forms in Preview. Try using Print > Save as PDF.

  • Mapping of Tax Form Fields to the PDF Tax Form

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to see the mapping betw the Tax Form fields and the Tax Form in pdf format. For example in Quarterly State Unemployment form, I have a Tax Form field T003. How can I map this field to a particular field in the Tax Form in pdf format ?
    Thanks And Regards,
    Somdeb Banerjee.

    Hello Somdeb,
To use the Tax form field say T003 in PDF,  there check box 'Form Processing Indicator' should be checked then only the field is available in PDF to be linked. Detailed documentation on how to use is available in 'Service.sap.com/hrusa'>Year end 2008> Year end reference materials-->' new! SAP ERP 6.0: 2008 U.S Tax Reporting w/ PDF-Based forms '

Need Help ASAP  my State tax form is in a PDF file and the attachment in my email says Please wait...
I tried downloading updates like it said to but it still will not display the document.  How do I print the PDF file ASAP

Can you give us a LOT more info?
What email client? What version of Reader (I can only assume you even have Reader at this point)?
Please wait? I'm sure it says more than that, right?
Have you tried simply saving the PDF (it IS a PDF correct?) to your desktop and opening it from there?
Did you get this form from the IRS or did it come from somewhere else? If the IRS again, what version of Reader?

  • Accessible PDF files and forms

I am beside myself with the lack of help and/or interest in the Accessiblity area. We have been mandated to make all our PDF files accessible on our Web site. We have been able to master many of the issues regarding tags and form fields, but still have questions regarding updating the original PDFs without loosing the tag structure.
Is there any options on the Adobe site that may concentrate on this area? I called tech support yesterday (Bronze contract), was on hold for 10 mins and got disconnected. After leaving my number, they never called me back again.

The point was not having to create the tags again in a new file before
replacing the pages containing the form fields in the old file. We have
many forms that get updated right up to the last minute and to go through
the tagging process is too time consuming. We do not use PDF Maker, but
produce all the PDFs directly out of InDesignCS3 to Adobe Acrobat
    Professional (Distiller).
    Thanks for your reply.

I am really suggesting replacing all of the pages. I was thinking that the
tag structure would go with the replacement and you would need to create
the other PDF with PDF Maker to keep the tagging. I may be wrong, but that
was the view I had. If you replace a single page, I am not sure what might
happen since that would generally not be done with PDF Maker.
Since you already have the application process going, it is probably
easiest for you to try the variations on replacing pages and such --
basically what I would be doing.

  • How do I add a tax form field to a tax form magnetic tape structure?

    I'm in version ECC 6.0:
I copied SAP's tax form HR_F_1099R_TAPE and created ZHR_F_1099R_TAPE, bringing in all the entries.
The only change to ZHR_F_1099R_TAPE is to add tax form fields T102 (STATE withholding) to position 139 and T103 (STATE tax) to position 151.  However, when I run PU19 the values are blank. All other fields are populated as expected.
If I stick in T002 (FED tax) and T004 (FED withholding) into positions 151 and 139  I have no issues, but I need state not federal.
What step am I missing to get the T102 and T103 to show in my magnetic tape structure output?
The PDF form works brings in P103 and P102 instead of T103 and T102, but the P's don't work either for the mag media.
    Please help.

    Good Morning Arti,
Tax Form Field T102 pulls from Tax Form Group 0001, and the same for Tax Form Field T103.
On the magnetic tape structure, my entry is as follows:
    03     Payee "B" Record     139     Payment Amount 8     T102
    03     Payee "B" Record     151     Payment Amount 9     T103
I'm using the take from field option.
    Thanks,
    Kerri

  • Edit tax form by field like in v4

    Editing tax form by field.
In Adobe v4, I was able to edit a tax form generated by my tax software (Lacerte) by a field. Although this was not a fill-in field, I was able to click on that field and edit only that field.
With the new versions [7 & 8], if I click on this same PDF file of a tax form, to edit it, it puts a rectangular border around the entire form and views the form as one big editable field. Then when I edit one area, it shifts the remaining areas of the form.
Yet when I bring this same PDF file back to version 4, I can edit text by that field alone.
Is there any way for me to edit a PDF field in version 8 the way it is edited in version 4: by field?
    Thanks!!

    Hi Ranjani,
I believe you need this to be identified for Multiple Worksite Report (MWR) and since you would need to have plant code/unit/location identified in T5UTV.
MWR would identify it based on worksite code in SAP MWR Report which is field WKSIT.
Reporting Unit Number is maintained if it is provided by BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) to report the worksite on MWR.
NC9901 Establishment code is used for NC9901 reporting which is a separate report.
    Thanks,
    Ameet

    How can i fix this?
We plan to generate statements in sap script not Adobe.

ECC 6.0 defaults forms to PDF with effiective date of 01/01/2005; the sapscript forms in table T5UX7 has to delimited with valid dates.

  • Tax Form Scoots to Right When Saved

After downloading a 1040 PDF form from the IRS website and then do a Save As within Preview the whole form scoots to the right, some content going off the page. Does that do to some for you or is it my machine?
    OS X: 10.4.11
    Preview: 3.0.9
    Thanks!,

    Dialup? I feel your pain
I don't see Export in Preview. My setup is US Letter - 8.5 x 11.
The file stays intact when doing a Print > PDF; and Print > Preview looks correct. If I do a Save As, with this file, the file will jump a good bit to the right and toward the top. I tested several other PDFs besides these tax forms and doing a Save As works correctly, they don't shift over. I've been doing Save As with PDFs for years and never had this problem. For some reason Preview doesn't like the IRS forms.
Doing a Save As in Adobe Acrobat with these PDF forms works correctly btw. I've actually been using Acrobat to fill these out but would rather use Preview.
    Thanks again,
    Wesley

  • Fill In Tax Forms

    I have windows 8.1 and office 365
when I try to fill in a 1065 fed tax form a window aqppears that says " Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.
You may not permission to access this data."

PDF form or Word Form? And you mean that you have already open this file, when you fill in the form, windows throws such an error message?
Have you already right-click the file to check if it is blocked? also you can check if your antivirus software is blocking the file. Please see

  • 2010 Tax Forms print errors in Reader

All of the tax forms I've downloaded from the IRS web site print with errors --- lines, garbage characters, etc when printing from Reader (latest version) on OSX.  If I open the .pdf files with Photoshop and print them, they come out just fine.  Printing from Preview also gives errors.
Other .pdf files print OK from Reader and Preview.
    Anyone else notice this?

The problem has not been answered, but I have transferred data that changed since 20th March to the backup drive, loaded that onto the hard drive and then made a new backup. Printing now works, but if anyone has any idea what might have got messed up let me know.

When I try to download tax forms on IRS.Gov I get a "reader out of date" message.  I upgraded to XI and still get the same message.  IRS techies say this is an Adobe problem. How do I fix?

Version 4 is oh so old.
The IRS and many other providers of forms are using products like LIveCycle which require at least version 7.05.

We use Adobe Acrobat PDF files as a means to electronically provide forms & publications. You will need to have the Adobe Reader software installed to access them (available FREE from the Adobe Reader download page on Adobe's Web site). We recommend using the most recent version of Adobe Reader.
