PEAP Password Credential

I have a Wireless network whit PEAP authentication, the authentication work fine, but I have this question:
In the first login into the wireless the user enter the username and password created in the database local of the ACS,and the users is authenticated.
There is a way for the user re-enter your  password every two weeks?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823731
It would appear there is no Automated way to do it withing WZC, but it looks like you could do some Windows Magic by finding a way to clear the registry keys. Perhaps some kind of scheduled batch file or login script?

You can use JNDI to modify the data in the embedded LDAP server. http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs81/secmanage/ldap.html#1100263 will get you started...

  • Outlook 2010 keeps prompting for password

    Hi,
We use Exchange 2008 and Outlook 2010. For some reason, Outlook 2010 keeps prompting for password. My use entered the password and checked "Remember Password" box, but next morning when he logged in, he still got the prompt.
I removed the Outlook credential for Outlook listed under Password Credential in Control Panel, but still no help.
    Please advise!
    Thanks in advance!
    Grace

    Hi Grace
    1. Open Outlook 2010. Click File>Account Settings>Account Settings.
    2. Click the E-mail tab, click the Exchange Online mailbox, click Change…
    3. Click More Settings…. Click the Security tab, make sure the Always prompt for logon credentials box is unchecked.
Please mark it answer if it helps you solving your problem

  • Mail for Exchange credential error or corrupted

Hello everybody. I have a latest firmware update (V 06.41.3.0) Nokia E50 and Mail for Exchange latest update also (1.06) installed on it.
In my windows installation there are a policy to change password every 30 days and all works fine in my phone after first day I change password in my Windows account for policy reasons. My problem is as follows:
I have a M4E configuration working correctly. My first syncronisation works fine and I have all my Exchange contacts, Calendar and Mail. This works fine for several times for several hours but suddenly the sync process locks my user account in Windows and I have a message in device noting this situations. After this situation, I call to my Help Desk to unlock user account and all begins to work fine without changing nothing included password credential in M4E.
Why M4E locks my Windows user account?
Looks like M4E sometimes doesn't read password correctly...I'm sure that action that lock my Windows account is M4E syncronisation because log in Front-End server has 3 times a HTTP 401 message comming from my device.
What happen? my account has any problem? what do you think?....any clue will be appreciate...
    Regards
    Daniel

Hey All, I had these problems:
    07/04/2008 10:53:46 HTTP error code=401
    07/04/2008 10:53:46 HTTP Server Error 401: UnAuthorized
    ...and the exchange administrator sorted it out for me straight away as below;
It’s the IIS settings that changed. I can only assume that it was some update that was applied but I don’t know who did it.
The IIS security settings need to be...
For the Exchange web site and the Microsoft-Server-Activesync site and the OMA site.
They should be setup for Anonymous access for the ExchWeb site.
The default domain should be your AD domain name.
    This configuration works.
A screen capture that describes this is available here:

    Hope this helps.

  • Login to portal from a 3rdParty Web site without logon promt??

    Hi Experts,
We have developed a new WD ABAP Application thats available via IVIEW on the portal. Client wants to access this application via a Link in a website. Since he already validates user login to this Website, we need a seamless connection to Portal. Meaning when i click this link on 3rd party site
-NO PORTAL LOGON SCREEN should appear when user navigates to portal.
-i should be able to get the logged in user details. Client is ready to create USERs in Portal that are exactly same as the one existing on his webSite.
-Any password/credential  changes in the Users data on this customer website should get updated in Portal.

    Hello Eureka,
Why dont you configure NTLM...Kerberos authentication.
Using the above, as the user will login into his/her machine, the same credentials will be automatically passed to portal without any login screen and the portal can be accessed.
We are working on similar scenario as yours.
    Warm Regards,
    Ritu

    Thanks

From the error messages it does not seem to find any of the transport related jars (ftp, jca, email, etc..). Looks like there was an issue while creating the domain.
Can you retry creating the domain and let us know if you are still getting the same error?

  • OSM 7.0.3. getOsmCredentialPassword issue after order submission

    Hi,
we deployed the the 7.0.3. cartridges for the typical topology following the 7.0.3. cartridge deployment guide for AIA on osm 7.0.3. and weblogic 10.3.1.0 / db 11g. We set up SOM and COM in one single instance and deploy AIA emulators. All ant scrips and deployment are successful.
After submitting a test order ProcessSalesOrderFulfillmentEBM via SOAP UI against the machine, we are getting the error message below: '*Fail to find password credential with specified map and key name*'
We can trace back this error to the xquery file OrderStateChangeHandlerXQuery, line 33 method
    **let $secureToken := context:getOsmCredentialPassword($context, $CF_OPERATOR)**
In the javadoc for 7.0.3., we can find the method in Ordernotificationcontext, it is inherited from the interface AutomationContext. This method seems to be new in 7.0.3. since we cannot find it in the javadoc for 7.0.2..
The problem might be connected to the credential store in weblogic, which one sets up via ant scripts with setupJPSPolicy+ and setupPIPUsers+ following the cartridge AIA deployment guide for 7.0.3.
Does someone face a similar problem and have advice how to solve the issue ?
    Regards
    benedikt

  • Link or display Dokuments in the Dashboard (pdf, jpg, etc.)

    Hi together,
we would like to store documents which should be displayed or linked in Oracle BI Dashboard.
What's the best place to store such documents. We tried to store the documents below oracle/product/OracleBI/web/app/res.
It works, but in this case there is no security and everybody who knows the linke is able to display these documents.
And where do you store such documents?

    Hi stefanhess,
In any folder people will be able to access the documents if they know where they are. In this case, you put the documents in an oracle path, which for sure is in a server with security. When you place this in a dashboard, the dashboad itself is protected with user/password credential. So the security is at the user level, not at the document level.
If you want to have security at the pdf level, you should protect the pdf with a password (this is a pdf funcionality, not obiee).

  • Use of SQL fetchlet to create a custom management plug-in

    Hi,
I would appreciate if you anyone could help me out on this:
I need to fetch some data from EMF tables and create a custom Management plug-in in OEM so that it can be monitored from OEM itself. For getting the data from database table i am using SQL fetchlet coz it provides the facility to use SQL statement in it. Following is the code i have developed in target-type.xml file.

    My doubt here is:
As per Oracle it is importent to use response matrics with status column. How can i accomodate Response matrics with this code. what will be the columns except Status that i need to mention? if i use just one matrics i.e response then what will i use in in FROM clause in ExecutionDescriptor [<GetView NAME="emf_View" FROM_TABLE="emf_filer">]? i wuld appreciate if anyone could clarify my issues.
    Thanks for your help.
    Regards,

That is what i am trying to ask..as i will b using 2 dfifferent matrics so i will have to use 2 diffrent QueryDescriptors one for Response matric and one for other one. Now following QueryDescriptor will be added in other(Not Response) matric then what should i add in QueryDescriptor in Response matric?
Query Descriptor for matric other than "Reposnse":
    QueryDescriptor FETCHLET_ID="SQL">
         <Property NAME="MachineName" SCOPE="INSTANCE">MachineName</Property>
         <Property NAME="Port" SCOPE="INSTANCE">Port</Property>
         <Property NAME="SID" SCOPE="INSTANCE">SID</Property>
         <Property NAME="UserName" SCOPE="UserName">UserName</Property>
         <Property NAME="password" SCOPE="password">password</Property>
         <Property NAME="ServiceName" SCOPE="INSTANCE">ServiceName</Property>
         <Property NAME="STATEMENT" SCOPE="GLOBAL">
              SELECT PROGRAM_NAME,
                             PROGRAM_TYPE,
                             RICEW_ID,REQUEST_ID,
                             EBIZ_INSTANCE_NAME
              FROM XX_EMF_MESSAGE_HEADER WHERE STATUS = 'ERROR' AND RICEW_ID = 'INT-DL019';
              </Property>
    </QueryDescriptor>
what should be the QueryDescriptor for Response matric?? Will it be same or different?
    Thanks for your help.

  • Active Directory and userWorkstations constraint

Could anybody help me? I need to bind to Active Directory with user that has named workstations which can connect from (userWorkstations attribute). When I try to connect the AD returns the following error even from the workstation listed in the attribute:
    80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C09030B, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 531, v893
HEX: 0x531 - not permitted to logon from this workstation
DEC: 1329 - ERROR_INVALID_WORKSTATION (Logon failure: user not allowed to log on to this computer.)
LDAPuserWorkstations: <multivalued list of workstation names>
NOTE: Returns only when presented with valid username and password/credential.
Does anybody know how to pass the workstation name to connection properties? I use com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtxFactory and com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtx.
I am attaching the java code I use to connect to AD. And the excpetion stack trace I obtain.
    Thanks in advance.

I somehow think that you are executing this code from a workstation that is not in the list of workstations that the user is permitted to login from.
The list could be derived, either from the user's userWorkstations attribute, or possibly from the computer's Group Policy settings.
I think the only way that you may be incorrectly denied access, could be if the userWorkstations attribute contains the workstation name, rather then the IP address, and that the domain controller is incorrectly resolving the name and therefore it does not match the real IP address of your workstation.

  • 802.1x wlan authentication wont work with Access Connections

Hi - hope someone can help. I have a WLAN configured to use 802.1x authentication using PEAP, passwords and an internal CA.
I can conect and authenticate a wireless client using the inbuilt windows wireless client; i am unable to connect when i configure Access Connections on the same computer with the same wireless settings. This is really annoying.....
The version of access connections is 5.21 running on windows XP SP3. Laptop is T61.
The connection fails as Access connections seems to think that there is no certificate installed on the client; there is and of course this would not have worked with the windows wireless client.
    error message is:
The identity of the server was rejected. Verify that the correct server name has been specified in the 'Validate Server Certificate' section of the profile.
    Any suggestions appreciated.
    Thanks.

did you find any resolution to this?  our mba- mid 2013 deployment is having a very similar problem.  We've gone through loads of troubleshooting and have yet to come to a resolution.  all our mid 2012 mba's are working fine they're 10.7.5/10.8.4 mixed.  console logs don't show much, i'll try the wireless diags tomorrow.  our other 10.8.4 build appears fine on other models of machines.  i've read posts about deleteing the adapters, deleting the system config plists and changing the mtu size, these steps do not work for us.
we don't have as high a failure rate with our deployment, but 25%-30% of our clients randomly drop connectivity and are unable to reconnect (fluttering wi-fi wave).  when you slect the wifi symbol in the menu bar other wireless networks do not show, the 'looking for networks' fly wheel continues to spin.  ocasionaly on login the yellow jelly bean will appear then disappear before finally timeing out without logging the user in (depsite having mobile accounts enabled).    mostly the problem manifests itself when waking from sleep - the wifi symbol flutters endlessly without connecting.  deleting the 8021x profile and readding it will reenable connectivity.  we've tried new profiels, but to the same end.  i know our certs and systems are fine because previous mac os x builds work fine as do our windows clients.
any input would be much appreciated.

    Hi,
the issue got sorted out.... anywayz have one more question...
We are planning to modify some of the base EM plugin scripts, which comes with the basic EM Agent installation. In one of the metadata file named instance.xmlp , i did found a parameter name "_physical_writes" but wasnt able to trace the source in any of the perl scripts, i could find the parameter "physical_writes" collected in one of the perl script files, but wasnt able to find the parameter "_physical_writes", not sure what does the parameter "_physical_writes" mean or what does that underscore mean????
In the below metadata entries the metric "physwrites_ps" is collected based on some other parameters like
physicalwrites ,__interval, physicalwrites. I am able to figure where can i find the below mentioned parameters, i did check all the scipts and also the metadata files..
    admin/metadata/instance.xmlp: <Label NLSID="instance_throughput_physical_writes">physical writes</Label>
    admin/metadata/instance.xmlp: <ColumnDescriptor NAME="physwrites_ps" TYPE="NUMBER" IS_KEY="FALSE" COMPUTE_EXPR="(_physical_writes > physical_writes) ? (1/0) : (physical_writes - _physical_writes)/__interval">

  • Service Bus(OSB) not harvesting Endpoint to Enterprise Repository(OER)

    Hi,
I am harvesting a WSDL-based HTTP Proxy Service from Oracle Service Bus (OSB) to Oracle Enterprise Repository (OER) but the Endpoint is not harvested. The other artifacts are harvested successfully.
    Can someone please help
    Thanks,
    Umar

    Hi Anuj,
Here is the info you requested:
*1. Exactly which version of OSB and OER are you using?*
OSB version: Oracle Service Bus 11.1 Sun Dec 18 03:49:34 PST 2011 1447174
    OER version: Oracle® Enterprise Repository 11.1.1.6.0 (v11.1.1.6.0-111103_0001-1437995)
*2. What type of proxy services are you publishing?*
    Proxy Type: Web Service - SOAP 1.1 (WSDL:OSB_PR_POC/OpenAccount, port="OpenAccountServicePort")
My proxy service routes to business service.
*3. If it is a WSDL based proxy then are you able to see enpoint URL in exported WSDL from proxy?*
OSB shows the Endpoint information(Endpoint URI      /OSB_PR_POC/PS_OpenAccount)

*4. Did you harvested the configuration from OSB machine itself?*
The OSB and OER are on the same machine. Used the OSB command line harvester to harvest the project. So, Yes, harvested the configuration from OSB machine.
*5. Can you provide the harvesting log?*

  • OSB Sever Start Issue

    Hi All,
We have Oracle 11G R1 web logic server installed and running properly, we are facing problems in starting the OSB server through Admin console. Server name is edited in the script "startManagedWebLogicosb.txt"and used to start the OSB server. Below is the warning and ALERT notification prompted when the script is executed.
    <Sep 22, 2010 7:23:51 PM IST> <Warning> <JDBC> <BEA-001110> <No test table set up for pool "wlsbjmsrpDataSource". Connections will not be tested.>
<Sep 22, 2010 7:23:51 PM IST> <Warning> <JDBC> <BEA-001552> <The Logging Last Resource (LLR) data source wlsbjmsrpDataSource will not function when it is a participant in a global transaction that spans multiple WebLogic Server instances because remote JDBC support is disabled. LLR will function in single-server
    configurations.>
    <Sep 22, 2010 7:25:05 PM IST> <Alert> <OSB Security> <BEA-387042> <There isser password credential mapper provider configured in your security realm.
e Service Bus service account management will be disabled. Configure a userword credential mapper provider if you need OSB service account support.>
After executing the script, in the admin console, the OSB server shows down arrow in red color , but still able to access the console and create services in it, but not able to test antything....We are not getting how to resolve this issuie.
    Appreciate your help and time!
    Thanks,
    Arun.

    Look at the $MW_HOME/user_projects/domains/<your_domain>/bin/setDomainEnv.sh
    There should be line with
    WLS_JDBC_REMOTE_ENABLED="-Dweblogic.jdbc.remoteEnabled=false"
    Replace it with
    WLS_JDBC_REMOTE_ENABLED="-Dweblogic.jdbc.remoteEnabled=true"
    and it should work
