Percentage Complete Type

"To specify that the activity’s percent complete be calculated from the actual and remaining units, select Units"
So If i'm having all three types (Labor, Non Labor & Material) of resources and the Activity Percentage Complete is Units than how it will calculate the percentage complete?
(On the basis of Labor Units or basis of units defined for Labor + Non Labor + Material)

You need to count the number of check boxes with a value other than "Off" and divide that number by the the number of check boxes. If you set a field with the "Percentage" format to that value you will have the percentage complete.
This will require some custom JavaScript coding.

  • Is there a way to remove the percentage complete display?

When a user is completing the form a 'percentage complete' is displayed.  In my case, the way this is calculated is misleading.  Is there an option to edit or remove this?

    This is the logic:
For multiple page forms the first page always shows 0% and we don't show progress on the last page. For the pages in between we take the number of questions completed on the previous pages and divide by the total number of questions in the entire form to get the percentage for the current visible page.
The percent doesn't include what is on the current page because it hasn't been filled out yet. The user may only fill out a few questions and leave the rest so you can't say they completed 90%. We don't know what the completed until they hit Next.
We've never found a better way to do the math that makes sense in all cases.

  • Percentage Data Type

    Dears,
how "Percentage" data type works?...For example:
    1. If you have a stored value equal to 0,37 it will automatically show this as 37%?
    2. If two account elements are aggregated into a parent with the "/" division aggregation type, and the parent is a "Percentage" data type, the parent will store the ratio between the two children as 0,37 and will show this as 37%?
    Many thanks!!

  • Duation Type and % Complete Type

    Hi,
    I'm having trouble getting the
desired effect with Duration Type and %Complete Type. What
I want to be able to do is add resources to a activity and
    have its duration reduced.
    Example:<br
/>Activity 1 has a duration of 10 days with one
resource if I add another resource of the same type I
expect activity 1 to reduce its duration down to 5
    days.
Now I am able to achieve this
    by setting;
    Duration Type: "Fixed Units"<br
    />% Complete Type: Units
    and
    User
    Preferences<br
    />    ->
    Calculations<br
    />           ->
    Resource Assignments<br
    />
    Check Recalculate Units...
    The
Problem that I am having is when I adjust the "Units %" to
say 50% it reduces the activities remaining duration 50%
and the 'At Completion' duration 50%, instead of just
    halfing the remaining duration.
    If
I reset the "Units %" to 0 then change the "Duration Type"
to 'Fixed Duration & Units' I get the desired effect,
setting "Units %" to 50% reduces the 'Remaining Units' by
half and Gnatt chart responds the way I expect it
    to.
My question is how can I
achieve the desired effect of adding new resources reduces
the duration and changing the % complete reduces the
remaining units only? or is this not possible.<br
    />
    Thanks

  • Project Revenue Recognitio based on Percentage Completion

    Dear Experts,
For on going project, we want to recognize the revenue based on the percentage of completion. Final bill will be at the end of the project, how to recognize the revenue in Finance on unbilled items/completion.
Please let me know what are the config setting to be done and steps to be executed (SD/PS/CO Module) for this process.
    Regards,

You'll have to implement Result Analysis in CO.  This does exactly what you require.  You can take a look at the following links which will guide you through.  Also, there are numerous other resources available in the internet.

  • Chart region with percentage complete

    Using APEX 4.1.0.0.23
    Oracle 11g database
I am sure the answer is really easy but I can't seem to figure out how to create this chart region.
I will have a data set which looks like this
    USERID VARCHAR(30)
    QUESTIONS_CORRECT NUMBER
    TOTAL_QUESTIONS NUMBER
Where the data might look like
    JONES, A 10 20
    FLINTSTONE, F 18 20
    RUBBLE, B 6 12
The page the user will be looking at will be for themselves (RUBBLE, B for example).
I want to show a region which shows their percentage correct (50%) on a pie chart - basically a visual reference instead of showing them a number.
So my query would be something like:
Select questions_correct/total_questions from userdata where userid = :P5_USERID
How do I get this represented in a chart region?
    Thank you in advance!

One way of writing the chart series query:
    with test_data as (
select 'JONES' userid, 10 correct, 20 questions from dual
      union all
select 'FLINTSTONE', 18, 20 from dual
      union all
select 'RUBBLE', 6, 12 from dual)
    select
        null link
      , 'Correct' label
      , correct / questions * 100 value
    from
        test_data
    where
        userid = :p2_userid
    union all
    select
        null
      , 'Incorrect'
      , (questions - correct) / questions * 100
    from
        test_data
    where
        userid = :p2_userid
    order by

  • Percentage of Type

I'm in the process of converting my dad's vinyls into MP3s for him, and I want to be able to keep track of progress for him. My goal is to create a Numbers document with a table that is a list of all of the albums in one column and the status (ie. Ripped, In Progress, etc.) in the second column. This much I have completed. Next I would like to have a Pie Chart that references the table and puts a percentage as a visual reference point. I can create the chart and tie it to the table, but what functions can I use to count the number of "Ripped", "In Progress", etc. cells that exist? Is this even possible? Am I going about it the wrong way? Thanks!

    I agree with Badunit.
    1. It is not a great idea to convert from vinyl with all its scratches and imperfections. Better to find a digital master, such as CD, and work from that.
    2. Convert to Apple Lossless as the first step, then use iTunes to convert that to whatever format and bitrate your father wants as an end file.
    3. Take it into AIFF so that you can use various audio tools to normalise and clean up the sound.
The pain of having to manually label each track individually from the album sleeve would put me off, that and getting a 2nd rate result.
I converted (well actually am still converting) my vast CD collection and I am anal so check all the data and include composers, musicians and notes and it is a big undertaking.
Try and explain to your Dad that the physical records are just a sentimental attachment, it is the music he is after. How you arrive at the new format is not important.

  • Complete type hierarchy for project

    Hi all!
Does anyone know if it is possible in Jdeveloper to view the complete project type (class) hierarchy. This is for example possible in Eclipse, and I've always found it a really useful tool. I know Jdeveloper supports type hierarchies for individual classes, but I'd like to see the complete project hierarchy.
    Any help is much appreciated!
    Regards,
    Falco

For Project budgets, there is no approval hierarchy as such, you can define system statuses for the project how the approval hierarchy to follow across and then have the key project members who will provide approval listed in the project
For ex: you can define your own project statues Pending--> Submitted--> Approval for Finance --> Approved
during all these stages you can set the workflow to follow the approval process, notifications will be set to the key member for the role who needs to provide approval
Using notifications the managers can approve or reject

  • The percentage completed UI is not showing the correct data

    Hi All,
I have received complaints from one of my larger customers that a very long form we have created is not showing the correct % completed at the bottom. They get to the penultimate page (the last page only have three text boxes on) and it state that only 41% of the form has been completed.
It looks to me like the UI is not updating as the questions are being completed. Rather it waits until you move to the next page.
This is what makes our form look rubbish - you are being told that you have only completed 41% of the form only to move on to the next page and bam, you only have three more boxes to complete.
Can somebody help me out here.
    Thanks,
    Bill

    Hi Bill;
I can take a look at your form but you are right that only the pages are accounted for in the percentage and not the form fields so it can be far off from reality.  If there is skip logic in a form that can make it vary more.  It is likely that it is working "correctly" (considering how we calculate) in your form but if you send me the link to your form at [email protected] I can see if it is not.
    Thanks,
    Josh

  • Mark percentage complete in item

well i try to elobrate my question.in  apo if A is a header item and B is its child item in 1:1,if we apply material constraint for taking planning run in ppds-apo,suppose we have req of A as 1000,system will not start till B is 1000,by someway may i put some % in item, like A can be started even if 50%of B is available.

    Dear Vikas,
System makes sure that the any PPM will only be considered if the requirement is above the Minimum Lot size. And to propose the production of this quantity, system will check the availability of the APO relevant materials in Full.
Whereas the following are the workarounds:
    1. If the planning of the input material(B) is not required in APO i.e. if the planning Run(MRP Run) is sufficient for that material. You have to delete that material in the PPMs in APO. This way system will not check the availability of this material.
    2. Reduce the Min Lot size in the PPM if the production of lesser quantity is practically possible or in simple terms if the Planned order of lesser quantity is acceptable.
Hope this will solve your Problem.
    Do reward points if helpful.

  • Percentage of completion

    Hi Gurus
I need to show the percentage of completion of a project and based on that calculate the Earned value and commitment cost in Project system report .the report is based on standard cubes 0PS_CO4 (project system controlling) and 0PS_CO2 (Project system dates0.I need to know how to go about for this so that i can calculated figures.i dont see any field called %of completion in these cubes.please help

    1. You need to have percentage completion as a key figure.
    2. In the update rules, write a routine to read the earned value for the project and derive the percentage completion.

  • OBIEE Percentage of Current month Completed

    Hi,
How to calculate the percentage of current month completed dynamically. For example if the date is December 15th 2010 then it has to display. Current month percentage completed i.e Dec 15th 2010 50% . Please suggest me how to calculate it dynamically...
    Thanks

Add another column to your report. Click on the fx button and paste the following. It will give you the percentage of the day of the month relative to the number of days in the month:
    DAYOFMONTH(VALUEOF("CURRENT_DATE"))/(DAYOFMONTH(TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_DAY, -1,TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_MONTH, 1,TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_DAY, (DAYOFMONTH(CURRENT_DATE)*-1)+1, CURRENT_DATE)))))*100.00

  • How to create a new condition type for palets

    Hello Gurus,
I want to create a new condition type to order material palets (like LP02) but I need to calculate a discount in % for entire palets only.
    By example:
A discount of 5% for each completed palets.
I order 1 palet for 100euros, I want a discount of 5 euros, and final price is 95euros.
    I order 1,5 palets for 150 euros, I want a discount of 5 euros and final price is 145 euros (100-5% + 50) and not 142,5euros (150-5%).
I order 2 palets for 200 euros, I want a discount of 10 euros and final price is 190euros
I tried with a fixed amount calculation type and it works fine, I have a discount only for entire palets. But when I tried with percentage calculation type, it doesn't work.
    Any Idea?
    Thank you for your help
    Gregory

    Hi,
In the pricing procedure config, you will have to create a new formula under the AltCBV (Alternative formula for condition base value) column.  The base quantity should be
    Order Qty DIV 1
That will give you the effect of truncating the decimals.   Suggest you get an ABAPer to have a look for you.

  • I want an activity to automatically progress percentage....

I can make this work most the time (Not always consistant) by the following:
    1) Make sure the act has an actual start.
    2) Set the Duration type to: Fixed units / Time
    3) Set the % Complete type to: duration
    4) Double click the Finish date cell in the Finish date column and set the finish date. (Question: This is not treated as a mand finish date.... does not constrain the act is what I mean.
Having said the above, I use this alot on a procurement step that has a hard delivery date and many weeks or months must go by before the act reached 100%. As I move the data date the % complete updates....
    Any thoughts....
    Jeff

I found the answer to my scenario.
After providing the activity with an actual start date, make sure to give the activity an expected finish date. This is found under the Status tab for the activity. As the data date is moved weekly or monthly, the percentage will update given the percent type is set to: "duration" and the Duration type is set to: "Fixed Duration and Units / Time".
This works great on a procurement activity that I don't want to bother progressing if it has a drop dead promise date.

  • Cin pricing condition types

    hi gurus,
I am working cin ecc 6.0 .  unfortunately standard condtion types are not there.  But i need to maintain the conditon types that related excise duties.  what are the conditon types i have to use.  Whic tax procedure should i use taxinn or taxinj.  In my system taxinj it is having condition types .  But i need the conditon types which i should use in my pricing procedure for the taxinn.  what is the critriea i have to use to get the conditon types.
critieria means keyelements whether it is  country, chapterid, plant, shiptoparty .  I am getting confuse please could anybody let me know where to include conditon types in my pricing procedure.
If anybody having screen shots taxinn please share with me
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi..
Please note that SAP will not provide you all the condtion types, SAP will provide you some sample condition types (each scenario). This needs to be copied to and you have to create your own condition types and ensure that all the customization/setting should be kept intact (only if required can be changed).
From 4.7E onwards SAP had come out with TAXINN procedure. So it is always recommended to use TAXINN procedure as this will support CRM application.
SAP has 4 standard pricing procedure  for both formula based and condition based. You can use
Pricing Procedure starting with JIN..... (Example JINFAC).
In those pricing procedure you can see excise condition type for BED, AED, SED and CESS.
Now for your information BED conditin type are: JEXP: Percentage Condition type and JEXT/JEX2 are total condition type. Similarly you can copy these conditon types and create your own ECS and SeCess Condition types.
For ECS and SeCess Most of the customers are using ECS:  JECS:Percentage JECP=Total.
    SeCess JA1X: Percentage and JA1Y : Total
Above mentioned ECS and SeCess condition types can be copied from repective BED condition types.
You have all the Key combination is defined in the standard access sequence, you are not suppose to changes the standard access sequence but you can add your own table in this access sequence as per your requirement (if only standard does not support).
