Percentage of Type

I'm in the process of converting my dad's vinyls into MP3s for him, and I want to be able to keep track of progress for him. My goal is to create a Numbers document with a table that is a list of all of the albums in one column and the status (ie. Ripped, In Progress, etc.) in the second column. This much I have completed. Next I would like to have a Pie Chart that references the table and puts a percentage as a visual reference point. I can create the chart and tie it to the table, but what functions can I use to count the number of "Ripped", "In Progress", etc. cells that exist? Is this even possible? Am I going about it the wrong way? Thanks!

I agree with Badunit.
1. It is not a great idea to convert from vinyl with all its scratches and imperfections. Better to find a digital master, such as CD, and work from that.
2. Convert to Apple Lossless as the first step, then use iTunes to convert that to whatever format and bitrate your father wants as an end file.
3. Take it into AIFF so that you can use various audio tools to normalise and clean up the sound.
The pain of having to manually label each track individually from the album sleeve would put me off, that and getting a 2nd rate result.
I converted (well actually am still converting) my vast CD collection and I am anal so check all the data and include composers, musicians and notes and it is a big undertaking.
Try and explain to your Dad that the physical records are just a sentimental attachment, it is the music he is after. How you arrive at the new format is not important.

  • Percentage Data Type

    Dears,
how "Percentage" data type works?...For example:
    1. If you have a stored value equal to 0,37 it will automatically show this as 37%?
    2. If two account elements are aggregated into a parent with the "/" division aggregation type, and the parent is a "Percentage" data type, the parent will store the ratio between the two children as 0,37 and will show this as 37%?
    Many thanks!!

    Hi
Percentage-Stores data values as a numeric value and displays the member's data value as a percentage.

  • Percentage Complete Type

"To specify that the activity’s percent complete be calculated from the actual and remaining units, select Units"
So If i'm having all three types (Labor, Non Labor & Material) of resources and the Activity Percentage Complete is Units than how it will calculate the percentage complete?
(On the basis of Labor Units or basis of units defined for Labor + Non Labor + Material)

You need to count the number of check boxes with a value other than "Off" and divide that number by the the number of check boxes. If you set a field with the "Percentage" format to that value you will have the percentage complete.
This will require some custom JavaScript coding.

  • Cin pricing condition types

    hi gurus,
I am working cin ecc 6.0 .  unfortunately standard condtion types are not there.  But i need to maintain the conditon types that related excise duties.  what are the conditon types i have to use.  Whic tax procedure should i use taxinn or taxinj.  In my system taxinj it is having condition types .  But i need the conditon types which i should use in my pricing procedure for the taxinn.  what is the critriea i have to use to get the conditon types.
critieria means keyelements whether it is  country, chapterid, plant, shiptoparty .  I am getting confuse please could anybody let me know where to include conditon types in my pricing procedure.
If anybody having screen shots taxinn please share with me
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi..
Please note that SAP will not provide you all the condtion types, SAP will provide you some sample condition types (each scenario). This needs to be copied to and you have to create your own condition types and ensure that all the customization/setting should be kept intact (only if required can be changed).
From 4.7E onwards SAP had come out with TAXINN procedure. So it is always recommended to use TAXINN procedure as this will support CRM application.
SAP has 4 standard pricing procedure  for both formula based and condition based. You can use
Pricing Procedure starting with JIN..... (Example JINFAC).
In those pricing procedure you can see excise condition type for BED, AED, SED and CESS.
Now for your information BED conditin type are: JEXP: Percentage Condition type and JEXT/JEX2 are total condition type. Similarly you can copy these conditon types and create your own ECS and SeCess Condition types.
For ECS and SeCess Most of the customers are using ECS:  JECS:Percentage JECP=Total.
    SeCess JA1X: Percentage and JA1Y : Total
Above mentioned ECS and SeCess condition types can be copied from repective BED condition types.
You have all the Key combination is defined in the standard access sequence, you are not suppose to changes the standard access sequence but you can add your own table in this access sequence as per your requirement (if only standard does not support).

  • How to create a new condition type for palets

    Hello Gurus,
I want to create a new condition type to order material palets (like LP02) but I need to calculate a discount in % for entire palets only.
    By example:
A discount of 5% for each completed palets.
I order 1 palet for 100euros, I want a discount of 5 euros, and final price is 95euros.
    I order 1,5 palets for 150 euros, I want a discount of 5 euros and final price is 145 euros (100-5% + 50) and not 142,5euros (150-5%).
I order 2 palets for 200 euros, I want a discount of 10 euros and final price is 190euros
I tried with a fixed amount calculation type and it works fine, I have a discount only for entire palets. But when I tried with percentage calculation type, it doesn't work.
    Any Idea?
    Thank you for your help
    Gregory

    Hi,
In the pricing procedure config, you will have to create a new formula under the AltCBV (Alternative formula for condition base value) column.  The base quantity should be
    Order Qty DIV 1
That will give you the effect of truncating the decimals.   Suggest you get an ABAPer to have a look for you.

  • Condition Type for commissions across sales orders

    Hi,
I have a requirement for which I need inputs:
We have sales employee who will get commissions based on the total sales they make. The relevant sales employee will be brought into SAP as a business partner (specific account group and hence partner function).
A tiered commission would be set up for each of the sales employee, for e.g. 1 to 10,000 , commission is 2 %, 10,000 to 30,000 commission is 3 % and above that is 5 %. The commission applicable should be determined at the time of sales order creation. The commission applied to an order should be determined based on all the sales orders for the sales employee and not that specific sales order. For e.g. if the sales employee has already got one sales order of worth 6000 and he gets another order of worth 9000, then as per the example, he is entitled to 2 % for 4000 of the order (his total sales now reacheds 10,000 and he moves now into the next bracket) and is entitled to 3% for 5000 of the order value. Also in case any order gets cancelled then the cumulative sales value for the sales employee should take care of the cancelled order.
I have a condition type where by I maintain the scale and the corresponding commision rates for the sales employee. I have ticked the condition update setting so as to cumulate the order value. I have the following questions:-
    1. How do I ensure that the rate applicable for the specific order takes into consideration the past sales orders for the sales employee and not only that sales order.
    2. How do I determine the condition record based on parter function (partner funtion for the sales employee)? I did bring in the partner role in the pricing communication structure but that does not work.
    3. How should I take care that the cancellation or sales order takes out that value from the cumulative value for the condition record. As of now it does not.
A quick response would be highly appreciated.

    Hi Kastubha,
Thanks for your reply. I am trying now to use rebates for this functionality. However I have few questions and I am unable to progress beyond a point:
Let's say that for a sales employee i set the rebate agreement. The sales employee's commission is as follows:
    1 - 10,000  (1 %)
    10, 000 - 30,000 (3%)
    30,000 and above (5%)
The calculation type for condition type is percentage, scale type is graduated to interval scale.
I am trying to use scale in rebate agreement to set up the commission structure for the sales employee. However, there is only accrual rate that I can enter. There is no place to enter the accrual rates as per the scale.
Because of this, what is happening that the rebate record determined is the accrual rate and not what is as per the scale. Also I need the condition record to keep track of total sales for the employee so that it knows what commission rate to apply based on how much the sales employee has achieved.
    Am waiting for you inputs.
    Best Regards,
    Sunil

  • Manual Condition Types

    Hello,
I have create a new manual percentage condition type to be used with POs. Is there a way that I can have this as a fixed percentage so that every time I use this condition on a PO it automatically populates the rate field with the desired percentage.

    Hi,
1)First Create Access sequence in Which Combination you want(Purchasing Org or Plant)
2)Assign Access seq to  your Condition type.
3)Go to MEK1 and enter the data.
Then onwards in your PO if Condition exists(Access seq) the fixed value it's Appearing.
    Thanks,
    Raghu

  • External Inventory Feed - Wish to Exclude Customer Order Stock

We have an hourly inventory job, which writes available inventory to an external file.  Recently, we learned that the report is including material which has already been reserved for future customer orders (see for example in MD04).  We do not have an ABAP programmer on staff so I am posting our existing code below and would appreciate hugely an updated script.
I've seen references in other searches to MD04 and use of function 'MD_MPS_READ_STOCK_REQMTS' as well as 'BAPI_MATERIAL_STOCK_REQ_LIST', but do not know how to incorporate this into the hourly job.
As you can see, the report output is being pulled from MARD-LABST, unrestricted, but it needs to also exclude allocated customer order stock.
Thank you in advance for looking.

What you said is exactly what I want! Very thankful for your help.
Yes, I have found that in EBEW table that standard price is valuated with preliminary cost estimate because I don't give a sales order cost estimate but I give an sales order stock in the customizing - requirement class. So, I have this question that how the sales order stock is determined.
In COPA customizing (COprofitability analysismaster datavaluationSet up valuation using material cost estimate), standard cost estimate or sales order cost estimate can be transferred into COPA value fields in our system.
But, I have still have a question: I found in our system, preliminary cost estimate in the linked production order is determined for valuation of sales order stock in EBEW table. As sap online help says, cost component splits can not be transferred to COPA.
So, according to SAP online help, I think what you said u201Cu2026..However , when we start thinking about the result of this cost to flow into COPA , this cannot happen as the Inventory was valued with a Preliminary csot estimate. So , the Online help says that it will not be able to transfer Result of Preliminary cost estimate into COPA for transferrring COGS details. System would always require a Standard cost estimate or a Sales order Cost estimate to flow Cost details into COPAu201D is correct.
But, in our system, cost component can be transferred into COPA!? When I create a sales billing (invoice) with tcode VF01, it can create a profitability analysis document (shown in VF03) which it had a cost component split for that material in the sales order stock valuated with the preliminary cost estimate. Or where is stored for the Make-to-Order materialu2019s cost component split in COPA?
That is the real point that confused me. Hope you can help me. Thanks very much.

  • Need to format a form field to add a "%" after the number

I am working on a form that will both print for manual fill-in and also electronic fill-in using reader. My issue  is that I need to
add a "%" symbol after the number input by the user. I can't use the percentage format type because that places a 0.0% in the field
when no data is entered and I can't have that due to the need to be able to print a blank form for manual fill-in. Is there a simpl
e way to append the % character after the user input only if data is in fact input and to leave the field empty otherwise?

I assume you only want the user to input numbers and you've then set the format to number.
In the textfield properties go to the format tab and set it to custom.
    Enter a custom keystroke script:
    if(!event.willCommit)
    var nChars = event.selEnd - event.selStart;
    var aFull = event.value.split("");
    aFull.splice(event.selStart, nChars, event.change);
    var strFull = aFull.join("");
    event.rc = !isNaN(strFull);
This will allow user to input numbers only - strings are regarded as user type.
Go to the validation tab and enter a custom validation script:
    f = event.value;
    if(f) {
        event.value = f + " %";
If I understood your question correctly, that should do the trick.
    Torben.

  • Manual Excise duty with fixed amount in Sales order

    Dear Sir/Madam.,
This is regarding manual excise duty with fixed amount in SD Module . I
have created three conditon type ZEXP,ZECS,ZA1X for BED ,CESS and HSED for manual excise duty with fixed amount, other than the standard condition type JEXP,JECS,JA1X , because  my TRADING SALE scenario needs both condition type with fixed percentage and fixed amount conditions also.  After the pricing procedure updation for trading sale, I have tried to create the sale invoice with VF01 , it is ok till  the VF01 for manual excise duty but when ever I tried to excise posting with J1IIN. the manual excise duty show only zero, whiile we used the  standard Condition type JEXP, JECS, AND JA1X with fixed percentage  8% -2% -1%  our over all steps are ok till J1IIN for excise invoice, mean BED ,CESS and HSED shown correctly.
I have done some experiment with the TAXINN tax procedure in (Logistics general > tax on good movments> india> basic settting>determination of excise duty> Maintain excise default), I have replaced the condition types  JEXP, JECS and JA1X with the ZEXP, ZECS and  ZA1X in the corresponding filed. then after my manual excise duty with fixed amount data  was reflecting
in the J1IIN and it start to work properly with the excise duty but my fixed percentage condition type stop to working mean, it was now showing the duty at the time of  excise duty posting J1IIN .
I want to use both the condition types in the same TRADING SALE scenario. May anybody help me to solve this issue.
    With Regard
    Vijay Kumar

    Dear Mr. Siva,
Sorry for the late reply, actually I was out of touch from this issue for few days. I am sending you the detail about my configuration----
I have assigned this condition type as following ...
    TAXINN     ZA1X     A/R AT1 Quantity based
TAXINN     ZECS     A/R Cess Quantity Based
TAXINN     ZEXP     A/R BED Quantity based
    Condition type information
         Control data 1
    Cond. class       D  Taxes
    Calculat.type     Q  Commodity
    Cond.category  D  Tax
    Rounding rule         Commercia
    StrucCond.
         Change which can be made---
Manual entries      C       Manual entry has priority
Still it is not showing the duty at the time of (J1IIN)
It may be I am missing some configuration or wrong configuration.
    give me some hints...
    thank you
    Vijay

  • Import service Purchase order

    Hi Experts,
I am facing  this problem when i am creating import service Purchase order with Purchase requisition. my import pricing procedure have Assessible value percentage condition type, which is coming in import service PO with certain percentage and condition type is coming  in display  mode. i am unable to change this condition type value in PO.
Access sequence not maintained for this condition type although it is picking some percentage. How can i find where it is picking and i want to make as editable this condition type in PO.
If i create import PO with material code, the condition type not picking any percentage and it is coming as editable mode.
if i create import service po without purchase requisition, this condition type not picking any percentage.
the problem is create import po with Purchase requisition only.
Control data of condition type is:  Cond. class     A       Discount or surcharge
                                                           Calculat.type    A        Percentage

    Condition type is item condition.
    Kindly help me,
    Regards,
    Makarand.

by going thru your problem, we understand that there are 2 different pricing procedures maintained.
Pls check in transaction MEK3 give your assess value condition type and you will know where from the record is being read.
To make condition editable and not editable. go to t.code M/06 and chnage "Manual entries" to "C Manual entry has priority:.

    Hi
Please maintain SeCess condition types under" Maintain Excise Default" settings. Example if you have both total and percentage condition types in pricing procedure; JA1X Percentage condition type and JA1Y total condition type then maintain it for your tax procedure as below
    A/R AT1 Perc
    JA1X
    A/R AT1 Cond
    JA1Y
If you have only percentage condition type in your pricing procedure example JA1X. then maintain it for your tax procedure as follows
    A/R AT1 Perc
    JA1X
    A/R AT1 cond
    JA1X
If you maintain the above setting for your tax procedure then system will bring you the SeCess amount in change mode as well as display mode of excise invoice
    Enjoy.........

I am trying to create excise invoice for export process bond (Letter of undertaking).
The basic excise and education cess are flowing in excise invoice as calculated in Commerical invoice.
But the Higher education cess ( for which i am using AT1) is not flowing in Excise invoice and subsequently in ARE1 document.
It is properly calculated in commercial invoice( Pricing procedure)
    Your valuable inputs are welcomed.

    Hi
If SeCess values are appearing in your billing document and its not copied to your excise invoice then please check the below two settings:
    1. Check whether the AT1 indicator for Excise Registration Number is active under CIN cusotmization.
    2 IMG>Logistics General>Tax on goods movements>India>Basic settings>Determination of excise duty>Maintain Excise defaults:
Here ensure that all SeCess condition type is properly maintained for your TAX PROCEDURE.
Example if you are using  JA1X-SeCess condition type in your pricing procedure.
Then check you have maintained as follows:
    A/R AT1 Cond...........JA1X
    A/R AT1 Perc............JA1X.
The above setting is required only if you are using percentage condition type. If you are using both percentage and Total condition type in your pricing procedure. Then it has to be classified as below. JA1X-SeCess Total condition type JA1Y-SeCess Percentage condition type
    A/R AT1 Cond...........JA1Y
    A/R AT1 Perc............JA1X.
