I am quite new to ABAP field. Specifically I am working on HR ABAP. I have made a programme & Getting an error like
"PERNR" is not a node of the logical database_S. Can any one please guide...

Thanks for all your valuable inputs. The Program is still giving error. What I am trying to do : I am trying to execute the example program ZEXAMPLE_PNP_GET_PAYROLL, if it will work for India Payroll then I will use it in my client place.
While executing it I am getting an error like: No results ? Did you assign the right structure to node PAYROLL? Now pay99_result is the satndard node in this program....
I will be grateful if you help me to modify the same program along with my wagetypes 1000(Basic), 1001(HRA), 1003(Transport).....

I am trying post goods receipt in EWM system in a simple inbound delivery process. It is not getting posted back in ECC. I have my RFC connection setup properly(I assume since I was able to transfer inbound delivery to EWM in first place).It seems some setting related to Outbound queue in EWM is missing.Can anyone tell me in detail what settings are required?Is it something to do with WE20 transaction?I am not sure what settings should be done there.The error log is as below-

I have checked remote connection in SM59 for both the logical system.It works fine.I understand this is more of a technical issue,but I don't have A local basis team to help me so reaching out to experts here.Can you guide me what technical settings could be checked for EWM-->ECC connection?When I execute BD82 for SB3CLNT011 it shows me green status with message "No messages have been defined for the selection conditions in the model".
Although when I do this for EWM logical system SB3CLNT012 it shows me this with all green status-

How to include the not assigned nodes in Hierarchy structure
Hi Experts,
I am running a report which has got Hierarchy variable type. After execution of the query some of the nodes appear always under "not assigned".
Please let me know is it possible to include these not assigned node under hierarchy structure.If so how to do that?

You can also supress the "not assigned" nodes in the hierarchy maintanence by choosing: Hierarchy attributes -> Supress unassigned nodes.

When you use the Statement <b>get PERNR</b>. This referst to the Logical Database.
Define the Logical Database in the attributes of your program and you should not face this error.

PERNR is not read in GET PERNR event for some period..
We have one ABAP report where we read financial data of our employees. But there is some PERNRs that is not read in the GET PERNR event the program skips to END-OF-SELECTION. I have all authorization to access this kind of data through other txn like PC_PAYRESULT. And this data appears in another ABAP reports. We've noted that the PERNRs that not appears doesn't have the Hiring Actions. And the data is read for this year 2007 but not to 2006 when the Action occurred. Does anyone knows what may be causing this?

We use a custom report category with the fields:

The program checks if PNPPERNR is not initial.
When we executes it with PNPXABKR = 02, PNPPABRJ = 2006. Some PERNR does not are read. The programa skips to 'perform xyz'. We found out that these PERNRs don't have the Action Hiring. We don't know if its because of it. -
Where in the function palette can i find the "logical shift" function (shift x by y bits)?
i am not able to find the "logical shift" function anywhere on the functions palette (after searching EVERY where). however, i discovered the function elsewhere in another VI (by pure luck!). i could keep bringing up these VI and copying and pasting, but that's a pain...i'd like to just have it on my functions palette to begin with.

Make use of the "Search" tool should you encounter difficulty in locating the desired function. For instants, search for keyword "Logical" or "Shift" and you will be able to locate the function

If the value in table P0021-SUBTY = 2 send 'CH'
Also use Condition Logic to check the age of Child in IT0021-FGBDT. If FGBDT =21 years or greater then Check the Student indicator on IT0021 if it is checked then set 'ST' on full file else set 'CH'.
For Disabled Dependent check to see if the indicator in P0106-DISAB is set to X i.e. yes. If its Yes then set 'DD' on full file.
DD takes precendence over 'CH'. Send termination record for students on their 26th Birthday.

We are upgrading from 4.6 to ECC6.00.Previously we used the include RPCIPE0D with PNP database in one of the programs and had no errors.Now in ECC6.0,there is a huge change in the code of RPCIPE0D when compared to 4.6C.
When i use this include in one of my programs with PNP database it throws an error as "'PERSON is not a node of logical database PNP'".Do i have to use PNPCE?If so,plz explain why.Hi Shruthi,
Main Program RPCIPE00 of your include program RPCIPE0D is built with the Logical Database PNPCE which has the node PERSON. When you try to activate your custom program with your program as main program, Since the include has the following code in it.
NODES: person, group.
this node will be checked against the LDB provided in your Custom Program.

Logic Pro 7 And NODES - Do the versions of OS X have to match?

I tried installing, off the logic pro 7.2 installation disk, the Node on my 10.3.9 ibook. My main computer has 10.4.5.
My question, can I run logic as a node on my ibook without upgrading to 10.4?

I have a MacBook Pro early 2011. Does not start. After the apple show, a blank screen appear. The service said that the problem is with the video plaquue in the logic board. Need to change. Cost lmmost the same than a new MacBook Pro. Somebody has the same problem? What we can do?
I hate to break this to you, but life isn't fair. If your job is that critically in need of a computer, then you should have a spare to use for just this kind of situation or have your employer provide you with a computer to use.
Computers break down, just like cars. If your car breaks down do you curse the car maker or get it fixed? Surely, you paid more for your car than the computer.

Just encountered this odd behavior in LV 2011 which I reduced to the following example:
- create a new VI and drop an enum control on te FP.
- make this control a typedef and open the corresponding typedef
- create a "case 1" item and a "case 2" item
- save the typedef (I used the name Typedef Control 1) and CLOSE it (this is to allow updating of the original control).
- drop a case structure on the diagram and connect the enum to it:
So far so good. Now create a "Value" Property node for the enum and use it instead of the terminal:
If I now go back to the typedef and add a "case 3" item, save the typedef and close it, the control is updated, but the Property node is not.
How do I know that? For one, the Case Structure contextual menu does not offer to create a case for every value. Also, if I add a "case 3" case manually, it turns red.
Luckily, the magic Ctrl-R key stroke actually does solve this problem.
Tested in LV 2011.By Ctrl-R trick do you simply mean running the VI? That is one way to force a recompile, but if you hold down Ctrl while pressing the run button you can recompile without running. This should not be "dangerous" in any situation.
As you have drawn your example, I see no reason not to use a local in that situation (ok, maybe for vanity). Still, I view the behavior you describe as a bug, and it should certainly be fixed for the benefit of local haters out there. You have to be a little careful where you draw the line between what gets handled in real time and what gets handled only at compile time. -
I got my Macbook Pro 17inch (early 2011) back from Apple (they had to replace the logic board) 3 days ago, I had a terrible experience as the genious who gave me my solid state disk for safekeeping lost my disk's brackets thus I had to wait 2 more hours until they find one after 10 days of waiting for the repair. I noticed some weird sounds, like somehting is moving with the mac 1-2 times, even if I have no mechanical parts other than the fans, but my real issue at the moment is that my microphone is not working. I can see the mic in the System Info however and in Audio Midi Setup. In the Audio Midi Setup I see that the master chanel is turned off and I can't turn in on. Ch 1 and 2 are on full. I also noticed the first seconds after the comp. boots the blue bar goes to the middle in the System Preferences -> Sound -> Input. Any ideas what to do or try? I do not want to go back to the apple store as it is 50 minutes away from here and I need my laptop as a computer science student. Everything else is working perfectly.
You need to call both the store that did the repair and Apple directly, warranty service or Apple care, and report this problem with both of them and get a ticket number of some kind (some kind of verification number) that the unit just came back from major service with this problem and that you want it fixed when you can lose the use of it, which is not right now.
Without doing something like that they could easily say it is damage not covered under the normal warranty.
God knows what the repair center did and did not do to it while it was there.
And depending on when you actually bought it the warranty could run out in the mean time. -

I've got a mac pro late 2006, and i am having problem with it for quite a while now. the problem i am facing is the start up process, and the red light on the logic board. Earlier I've got the two led on the diagnostic leds 5 and 6 turned on without the diagnostic button being pressed, and i think those are related to the processors overtemp. I've managed to solve that by, removing the processors and re applying the thermal compound on the heatsink. what i have left now with is the red light on the logic board at the time i plugged in the power. At the same time when this light come on, the power indicator at the front panel come on as well. i am not sure what is this light relates to. We've replace the power supply too, and gone through the SMC reset but seems no help.
Any idea on the problem? I am desperate about it, and i will be greatful if anyone can help..

Not able to get the PERNR Details in the LOG overview

I have uploaded the data into info types 0000 and 0001 through PA30 transaction using LSMW,Recorging,Batch input method.
once LSMW is executed,PERNRs are getting created successfully in the ECC with in the Internal number range.(We are giving PERNRs in the input file).
I want to get a list of PERNRs which are generated by me after executing the LSMW (I do not want to refer PA0000 table to get the details). Actually I am not able to check the PERNR details in the LOG overview.
Please help me.Try this way..

and again select the session name in log overview press the dispaly button or press the double click the session name.
after this press the print button or CTRL+P
there you have option to download the log to excel file , after downloading the log , select based on message number which are created ....
