Persistence two beans in the same table, Duplicate table name in different beans
Hi,
I need to persist two beans belonging to different classes in the same
table, but the following mistake happens:
[jdo-enhance] javax.jdo.JDOFatalUserException: Invalid jdbc-table-name:
Duplicate table name
There exists some way of persisting both objects in the same table?
thanks
jasabino
No. It would be very confusing to do so. Can they not share an
inheritance hierarchy? You can use flat mapping to do so.

Two iterators browsing the same data (a table and a tree) problem
I have an ADF UIX application with a navigation tree and a central page with a table of the records of a Works view object.
There is a hierarchical relationship of Works ->Subworks-> Tasks which is shown in the tree. In the central part of the page, there is a table of Works.
I want
1) the tree to show all the data, but only about 10 works at a time (using small arrows for scrolling up and down)
2) the table to show only 10 or 20 records each time. Not the same with the tree.
3) Both clicking on a link on the tree and selecting a work on the table will open the appropriate page.
4) Opening the children of a node in the tree and clicking on the links being able to send me directly in the correct subwork or task page EVEN if I haven't visited the parent node (work) first.
I cannot seem to be able to succed in the "even if" part of 4 and I can succeed in only any 2 of the first three.
If the tree iterator and table iterator point to the same view object (work1 for example), it is impossible to show a different set of works in the tree and the table
If I use different view objects, then, if the tree part is working, the table selection doesn't work. I imagined that's a problem with "SetCurrentRowWithIndex" and I tried to set up correctly a "SetCurrentRowWithKey" event, but I didn't know how to write the handler. (I use JHS event handling, by the way)
I suppose the following has errors:
<event name="setCurrentRowWithKey" source="GetaeergView1">
<set target="${bindings.GetaeergView1Iterator}" property="currentRowKeyInRange" value="${ui:tableSelectedKey(uix, 'GetaeergView1')}"/>
</event>
Any suggestions?Noone has tried this again?

I've tested this using several versions of Firefox (from 3.6 to 10.?) under both Windows XP and Windows 7.
Using either a backward slash (\) or a forward slash (/) in an <A HREF="..\home.htm"> link works fine when testing the document locally; but after installing it online the backward slash is no longer recognized as a file separator.
While the mistake was mine, the inconsistent treatment of the two slashes made it impossible to catch the problem until it was installed, resulting in a badly mangled website. Competing browsers (such as Internet Explorer and Google Chrome) don't have this problem.see http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=9107 to use a different cipher and improve speed. might help.
btw are you sure the stuttering is due to pure CPU and not (disk) IO, or a combination of both? look at wait times in top. maybe tweaking your schedulers might help.
also you can take a look at AFP (netatalk package) as an alternative. who knows, might help you.
by the way, did you try webdav? -
Two LVO link to the same not base table field
I would like to know if it possible to relate two LOV to the same not base table field. If it possible, how to do it.
Thanks,
JuliaYou can set the LOV with set_item_property(<item>,LOV_NAME,<lov>). This way you can associate 2 or more different LOV's with an item. Of course only one LOV can be active at any given time.

SUM two ROWS in the SAME Table
Hi,
I have a problem with this issue. I want to sum two rows from the same table, but I don´t know how to do that. I tried to do it with CTE, but always I get the same error "Ambiguous". I would like to ask you, if there is other manner to get that
data (sum two rows) and if it is possible to see examples about it.
Thank you in advanceHi Vaibhav,
I leave you my scrip:

Two triggers in the same table and event
If I created two triggers on the same table and event (before insert), which of them will be triggered first ?...
The problem from the beginning is that I created the second one as after insert and in the body of the trigger I wrote (:new.xxx:= value) ... then an error (that it should be before insert trigger or update trigger), so I created it as before update ,,, but I have already before update trigger (for primary key)..... and the problem -I think- which of them start first...
Can make the second one as after insert and make update statement instead of assigning (:new.xxx:= value).....
RegardsIf I created two triggers on the same table and event
(before insert), which of them will be triggered
first ?...As already mentioned, prior to 11g the order of firing is undetermined.
The problem from the beginning is that I created the
second one as after insert and in the body of the
trigger I wrote (:new.xxx:= value) ... then an error
(that it should be before insert trigger or update
trigger), so I created it as before update ,,, but I
have already before update trigger (for primary
key)..... and the problem -I think- which of them
start first...If there is a conflict of interest inside the code then you will have to alter your design principle around this to cater for it. Also consider combining the code into a single before insert trigger to prevent any confusion.
Can make the second one as after insert and make
update statement instead of assigning (:new.xxx:=
value).....Attempting to update or query the same table as is causing the trigger to fire will result in a mutating table error. You can't do this. -
Compare two results from the same table
i have two results from the same table that i would like to compare. below is my query and the results i want to compare
SELECT tblItemRoutingBOM.ItemRevID, tblItem.ItemID, tblItem.PartNum, tblItem.ItemName, tblItem.ManufacturerPartNum AS [Mfg Part#], tblItemRoutingBOM.Quantity
FROM tblItemRouting
INNER JOIN tblItemRoutingBOM ON tblItemRouting.ItemRoutingID = tblItemRoutingBOM.ItemRoutingID
INNER JOIN tblItem ON tblItemRoutingBOM.ItemID = tblItem.ItemID
WHERE tblItemRoutingBOM.ItemRevID in (61,70)
as you can see i am returning two records using the where clause
ItemRevID, ItemID, PartNum, ItemName, Manufacturer, Mfg Part#, Quantity
61,121,331503,.233 Aluminum Sheet,,1
70,121,331503,.233 Aluminum Sheet,,3
now what i am looking for is to combine these two together into one row with the following added. two columns for each QTY, QTY1 = 1 and QTY2 = 3 with a third column added that is the difference between the two QTY Diff = 2
Any thoughts?Here are the two statements that i want to combine, results for each are attached

Columns go as such, ID, QTY1 (for 61), QTY2 (for 70), Diff (QTY1-QTY2), PartNum, ItemName, Mfg, Mfg Part#
IF the results from one of those two are empty then i would see something like this

Singletons running on two servers at the same time
Hello,
we faced one interesting situation with our application, running on clustered BEA Weblogic 9.2. We implemented some Singletons (ie. Singleton Service in a Weblogic cluster) and they are running fine. Most of the time.
Common scenarios: cluster is started -> the singletons run on one server; the server is brought down -> the singletons are started on the second server.
However, we had recently two situations where the Singletons started on both servers! Here they are:
1) We use Database Migration Basis and we have a dedicated table for Weblogic to capture current state of the singletons. Due to the fact that database (Oracle RAC) was partially available one of the Managed Server could not get the lease and probably assumed that no singleton is running, therefore started the singletons locally.
2) Network outage: we had several minutes where none of our servers could communicate between them (neither between SASU MS nor with the database). Consequence: each MS decided to start the singleton locally (after some time, which I assume is the waiting time). Once the network came back the servers could communicate again but the duplicate singletons are not deactivate, so they are running in parallel.
Anyone experienced the same or similar issues? How to prevent the above? Is the Consensus Migration Basis a better choice? (I think yes for #1 but not for situation #2).
Any helpful answer is appreciated.
Thank you, best regards,
Remus.In general its not a good idea. Running PSConfig will try to establish a lock on the configuration database. Doing that from two servers at the same time may cause the update to fail.

How do you stop your phone from creating two albums with the same photos after syncing?
When I first bought my phone I was able to sync my photos by checking the folder I wanted synced under iTunes. This put all those photos on photo library on my phone. I recently added more photos to that folder and tried to sync them it now put them in the photo library album and also created another album with my folder name. So I have two albums with the same photos. I tried in checking that folder in iTunes and of course they're not in my photo library. Please help. I don't want two albums with the same pics
This is how Apple has always handled photos. nothing has changed at all.
Just as your music is in your library and you can access those exact same songs from a playlist, all of your synced pics are in the Photo Library and those exact same photos (NOT duplicates) can be accessed from the album name that you chose to sync. -

sessionInfo1 and conmment out sessionInfo1.publishSession()in
Detailed frame.
But when I tried to pass Master frame SessionInfo object to
Detailed frame there is nothing showing up in the detailed frame
it is just blank frame.
So two frames have to use the same SessionInfo object . Dose it
make sense?
I would really appreciate anyone who can enlighten me on this
subject.
Thanks you so much for the attention.

1.Use wizard and test the frame
2.pass the sessioninfo object in parent to child(put method in
child, call from parent e.g ..getsessionInfo(SessionInfo ss)
3.pass the sessioninfo object to rowsetinfo in child
4.add Database authentication (username/password is sufficient)
methods right before publish method
*publish activates RowSetInfo and connects to db
5.add methods in parent to call child
That should work though depending on how you have set up your
wizard generated java form, might tweak

Can we assign two values to the same parameter? If yes how? For details please go through the following SAP related program.
Here I need to print 2 queries using the same parameter "QUERY" the value assigned to this parameter(query) is REPORT_TEST1. I want to assign one more value to this Parameter. Is is possible? This question may sound stupid if it is not possible please kindly reply.
I want to do this to print two documents(values) with a single command (parameter)
Anybody please help quickly,
Now, I have 2 tables from different queries. I have a print (HTML written) option in my WEB Template
JAVA PROGRAM:
<param name="QUERY" value="REPORT_TEST1"/>
function PrintReport(typePaper) {
document.title ='Report';
if (typePaper == "0")
{var CurrentReportName = '&?mp=U&ptot=1&rtot=0&psize=' + escape(typePaper) + '&fsize=' + escape('39') + '&qtitle=' + escape(document.title);};
if (typePaper == "1")
{var CurrentReportName = '&?mp=U&ptot=1&rtot=0&psize=' + escape(typePaper) + '&fsize=' + escape('52') + '&qtitle=' + escape(document.title);};
CurrentReportName += '&ASOFDATE=' + escape(AsOfLabel.innerText);
var openCMD='<SAP_BW_URL>';
openCMD += '&DATA_PROVIDER=REPORT_TEST1&TEMPLATE_ID=DPW_PRINT_PAGE&CMD=RELEASE_DATA_PROVIDER';
openCMD += CurrentReportName;
openWindow(openCMD,'MainTitleNow',800,600);
The data provider here is REPORT_TEST1. Now it only prints the corresponding data for the data proviedr 1 i.e., REPORT_TEST1. I have a second table whose data comes from the data provider 2 when i use this HTML to print I want the second table contents from the data provider 2 (REPORT_TEST2)also to be printed simlutaneously.
Please help.
THANX A LOT,
SRINIHi,
Try assigning two values seperated by a delimiter ( say '|') to the same parameter.
In the function get the parameter value and seperate the values using the same delimiter.
<param name="QUERY" value="REPORT_TEST1|REPORT_TEST2"/>

Is it possible to list one song with two genres? THis would be solve a problem I am having. I just got a new computer and transferred my old iTunes library, with lots of songs where I had changed the genres. But when I plugged in my iPod, iTunes duplicated all those songs with their original genres, stored somewhere that I didn't even know about. As a result, I have duplicates of most of my songs. Before I bother to try and delete them, I have to figure out a solution so it doesn't happen again. help
I do get what you're saying. But I found that I can look at all my duplicates in iTunes and the only ones that are 'wrong' are the ones where I changed the genres. Plus, I don't understand how iTunes 'found' the original genre settings. For example, a Richie Havens song was listed as hip-hop. So I changed the genre to rock. Did this several years ago. But when I transferred the library from my old computer to the new iMac, now I have two copies of the same song, one with the hiphop genre label and the other with the genre I assigned it. Well, it's not so bad...I'm just deleting. Thanks

Two copies of the same mail folders / Problem with TimeMachine backup
I have two copies of the same IMAP mail folders in my library
1. ~/Library/Mail (actual version)
2. ~/Library/Mail/V2 (old version)
I guess this is the reason why my TimeMachine does not backup the emails (it only backups the folder with only one version in folder "V2")
How can I resolve this problem ?
Manny thanks,
Olebuddy.....I've tried urs suggestion,but now it is showing two quotations(easily adjustible in 2 pages) on 3 pages. I've tried Page Protect to set to No for all the repeating frames and fixed the horizontal & vertical length of all repeating frames.
plzzz let me to describe my report more deeply, it picks data from two tables,one master table containing quotation#,customer-id, date.2nd block contains details about repairing items. so all the data is in two
repeating frames which can be easily printed in half page. 2nd copy of this quotation will also print on the same page in the lower half portion of a page.
is it enough for u????
still if u peeps have any problem in understanding my problem then I think u peeps should have a look on my quotation report so that u may have a better idea of this problem. -
How to write two item in the same line?
In the smartforms,how to write two item in the same line?
eg
1 ************* 2 *****************
3 ************** 4 ******************
5 ***************
Anyone got any idea to do this.
Thanks in advanceHi,
In the smartform the main windows is 20cm.I use the table output my data.Because the output is two item in same line,I define two rows in the table line type.
Question:
Should I define the table width 20cm?
In the main area of table , should I define two folders and each of folder include a line? The second item I had already defined as Append Directly,but the item 1 and item 2 don't in the same line.

Two FK in the same tabe/query
I'm trying to return two fields from the same table through two joins in the same query.
Take this example:
Table: Product
ID Varchar PK
Name Varchar
Leader Varchar FK to Person.ID
Backup Varchar FK to Person.ID
DATA:
1 MyProduct 123 345
2 YouProdct 345 678
Table: Person
ID Varchar PK
Name Varchar
DATA
123 John
345 James
678 Tom
I need to return
RESULT:
Name Leader Backup
MyProduct John James
YouProdct James Tom
I've lots of different queries, but I always get either what looks like a cartesian product or a syntax error.
Thanks in advance
Edited by: jdc114 on Mar 28, 2009 5:20 PMWhat have you tried? It would seem like
SELECT product.name, leader.name, backup.name
FROM product,
person leader,
person backup
WHERE product.leader = leader.id
AND product.backup = backup.idwould be sufficient.
