Phone makes 3 vibrations when plugged in, black screen, doesn't load up
Hi, I washed the phone's screen (made sure that all flaps were closed prior to that) and all of a sudden, after 10 seconds of water the screen became darker - till it wend completely black. When I try to turn it on, no response, I also tried pressing power+low volume - still no response.When connected to a charger - it continuosly makes 3 consecutive vibrations+red led flash over and over again - never stops. I also tried the PC companion software with repair option - it doesn't work since every 3 seconds it connects and disconnects from the USB port. I have no idea what to do next. Sony please help!!!
You may need to perform a software repair using PC companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.
Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).
Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Resolving issues
If your battery doesn't charge, or if your device shows a low-battery image, black screen, or "accessory not supported" alert, follow these steps.
Inspect the connector at the bottom of the phone:
Make sure that there are no bent pins in the connector.
Make sure that the connector is free from debris.
If there are bent pins or debris, please contact Apple Support.
Otherwise, continue troubleshooting.
Make sure that the outlet you're using works.
Make sure that the Apple USB cable and Apple USB power adapter work.
Plug the device in to power and let it charge until your device turns on. This could take between 10 and 30 minutes. If you don't have an Apple USB power adapter, try connecting to a computer's high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be on.
If the device still exhibits an issue, try turning your device off and then on again while connected to power.
If the issue persists, please contact Apple Support.

Toshiba laptop black screen, doesn't load...
I have an x205-sli2 laptop. Everything was working fine except this morning when I turned on the laptop all I get is a black screen with three beeps: one long and two shorter ones. I don't know what could be wrong since I can't even access safe mode. I read that this might be a hardware problem, but I want to know for sure and what type of problem it is. If it is something serious do you suggest that I get a new laptop or just get this one repaired? Also, if a new laptop is better, would it be possible role recover the data on this laptop? Please respond as soon as you can. Thank you!

You can to recover all the info on your hard drive, but will have to remove it from your system and can be done externally, there are many hardware to copy, me in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I do that anymore, but I doubt you're living near Buenos Aires.
Try removing the hard drive, usually 1 screw cap and one screw holding the hard drive under test and then turn on your system. No doubt Windows will not load, however if you should see the Toshiba logo, ie booting the BIOS. Rarely has the hard drive may be causing problems and conflicts load. I believe that if your motherboard emits sound, means that the BIOS is not dead, but not sure. If that does not help think about replacing the motherboard or the micro. So your laptop without my presence is often difficult to see which can be, until the memory could conflict.
You have another memory module to change your system? I ask because it might also be that. Until the video chip can be.

While updating the iPhone 5 software from 6.1.3 to 6.1.4, the power failed. iTunes had just finished the backup and was beginning the software update. Now the phone screen says to connect to iTunes but the phone is not recognised when plugged in. Using Windows 7 and phone not recognised by computer, let alone by iTunes.
Any suggestions? Happy to take it off to the the Apple genius people but would prefer to get it running myself.

Could be a poor ground. Try plugging the monitor directly into the wall (no power strip) and see what happens.

What can i do to get my phone working. It went to a black screen when I was playing a game. I pressed the power and home button then it showed the apple logo and went back to a black screen. Doesn't came on, show a charging sign, read on iTunes.
Press and hold the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.

My iPhone won't stop vibrating when plugged into my Macbook. All software is up to date. iTunes just gives me an error. No problems when plugged into a PC. Why the nonstop vibrating!?
When I connect it to my iMac (with up-to-date OS X Yosemite 10.9.5) - it doesn't work.
Specifically - iTunes automatically launches, but then quickly shows a dialog window that says, "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone. This device is no longer connected."
Meanwhile - on my iPhone - in the upper right-hand corner (where the battery life is displayed) - you can see the "plugged in" icon (lightening bolt) rapidly blinking on and off.
In other words - it seems like, when it's plugged in - it's rapidly connecting and disconnecting (several times per second).
If I click "OK" on that dialog window on iTunes - it instantly pops back up, and continues to do so as long as I keep the iPhone plugged in.
I have tried all and stile did not resolve my problem. I tried to restart both devices, try different cable (I have original cable). Both devices are new and software's are update it on latest versions.

My iPhone 4 registers that it is getting a charge (vibrates when plugged in) but is not charging. The charging display shows the fully charged symbol and not the charging symbol. I have tired charging using two different cords and into both my computer and an outlet.

I jailbreaked my iPhone 5 and now i don't want the jailbreak any more so i restored the iphone without iTunes and then it turned it self off and now its stuck on the black screen with the loading sign. So please how can i turn my iPhone on again?
I figured it out by pressing the home button and the off button but when i turn my phone on again it's not restored. And when i try to restore it with iTunes it has to update but i can't update my phone because it's jailbreaked but if i can't update it, it won't restore the phone.

A Restore first downloads a new copy of iOS to your computer. On a slow Internet connection this can take a long time. How fast is your connection? How long would you expect it to take to download 900 MB?
That's assuming nothing is interfering with the download. Some firewalls and antivirus programs will block the download or slow it down. So you should temporarily disable your security software. Security software can also block the update after the iOS download is complete. -
i did some thing wrong that makes my mac just showing a black screen and amessage says you need to restart your mac .... etc and i wanted to talk to any one from apple and i couldnt get my mac serial number and i could do nothing i turned to some one who formatted the hard desk and i tried to talk to any one from apple but it seems no one care i spent 4 years to be able to buy this mac and i dont know what to do > i will never buy mac again please some one tell me what to do dvd is not working i press on options and nothing happen what showld i do ? through it ? some body tell me what to do or where to go
Just to make certain, you inserted the original installation disk and started the MBP holding down the C key? Did the Optical drive reject the disk or did it just spin? If the former, the lens in the drive may be dirty and needs to be cleaned. If the latter, you will have to take it to an Apple repair facility.

My son has been deleting files. Now when he turns on the MAC OSX v10.4 it just comes up with the grey apple keywhich alternates with a NO ENTRY symbo and ? symbol. Tried pressing "apple key" S. Black screen appears Error Loading Drivers.
We have no discs. Any ideas?You should have given your son access to a Parental Controlled Account only. Unfortunately without the disks, and from the sounds of it, no backup, you are stuck. You might be able to recover the information with an external hard drive and an appropriate data recovery program, but getting the 10.4 original discs is increasingly difficult. If a Mac is Intel, only the original discs can be used to install 10.4 which you would need to call AppleCare for and hope they still have a copy of, or a cloned backup. If it is PowerPC G3, G4, or G5, you can probably find the 10.4.6 retail disc, discussed here to Archive and install 10.4.
Before Archive and Installing, which you can do with either the original 10.4 or retail disc, be sure to attempt that data recovery. If you choose to try to Archive and Install 10.5, and you have PowerPC, you'll lose access to Classic Applications. You could upgrade to 10.6 if you have Intel and 1 GB of RAM, or 10.7 if you have 2 GB of RAM, but some application compatibility might be lost the further you upgrade. -
Phone won't turn on, just vibrates when plugged in
Last night, I plugged my phone in before bed. It showed on the battery icon that it was charging, and the red charge indicator light was on once the display turned off. However, by the time I woke up, the phone was dead, though still plugged in. I couldn't get it to do anything, so I tried an old battery that I had. Put the battery in, the phone turned on and showed a 47% charge. Knowing that battery was garbage (which is why I got a new one; I just held onto the old one for emergencies), I put the phone on the charger and the battery icon showed charging. Instantaneously, though (I'm not exaggerating, it was literally instant), the phone dropped to a 1% charge. I quickly tried to turn the phone off to see if I could even get even a little bit of an efficient charge out of it, and the phone started power cycling. I tried to stop it, but it turned itself off and on probably 20 times before it finally totally died (kind of reminded me of how sometimes an sick animal will go bat guano bonkers before it kicks it).
Now, when I try to plug the phone in it just pulse-vibrates every 2 or so seconds instead of showing that it's charging. It will continue to vibrate like that for a minute or two after I take it off the charger before it finally stops. Won't turn on in any mode, plugged in or not - I do get a flicker of the opening "Samsung Galaxy" screen before it shuts off and goes back to vibrating. I've tried to let it charge for 30-45 minutes, but no change. Taken the battery out, smacked it a few times, tried to charge with my computer, tried different cables/chargers, nothing helps. I have no idea if either battery has any charge at all at this point (though I suspect not). I haven't damaged my phone at all - no recent/significant drops, no water - but of course I'm just barely barely out of warranty. Am I toast or is there some way to fix this?Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, since (as I clearly noted in my original question) my phone will not turn on, I can't confirm the phone software, though I've downloaded any and all updates that I've been notified of. I have no idea if any apps updated immediately prior to the issue happening; it's likely that some update to something downloaded not long before the problem started since I plugged in the phone shortly after I got home for the evening and reconnected to my home WiFi, but I wouldn't have any way to tell you what it might be. My phone will not boot in safe or recovery mode either, if that helps answer if an app is causing the issue.
I tried to take it to a Verizon store; they told me that they had literally NEVER heard of my issue before and so wouldn't be able to fix it and didn't even attempt to help, just tried to sell me a new phone, so that wasn't super helpful. Since I had zero problems up to this point with my phone, and because I'm now not eligible for the early upgrade to the Edge program without the early termination fee because I don't have a working phone, it sure would be great to fix the one I have. If anyone else has any advice, I'd appreciate it! -
Low vibration when plugged into a 220v outlet
Has anyone ever experienced a low vibration coming from their macbook pro when plugged into/ charging from a 220v source?
I noticed that, if my MB is charging whilst plugged into a 4-way adaptor plug (along with other things), such as a lamp, my mobile phone and a heated blanket, this causes the mild vibration on my MB case. I then discovered that unplugging the heated blanket from the 4-way adaptor causes the vibration to instantly stop. Leaving the phone charging and the lamp turned on appears to have no effect on the vibration at all.
So, if you're charging/operating other things/devices from the same adaptor (power source) as you're charging your MB from, then try unplugging these and just leaving the MB to charge form this power source on its own... see if that makes any difference.
It stopped the vibration for me anyway.
