Photo shop won't download. It says "up to date" like it's already on my computer but it's not.
I had installed a few weeks ago but removed it and I haven't used this computer since then. I was able to download lightroom with no issues. Any suggestions?

Several months ago I installed the Firefox Home app on my iPhone to sync the bookmarks that I had on my Windows XP home computer. It has worked just fine until a few days ago. I have tried to follow the instructions that were emailed to me regarding how to setup the new Firefox Sync add-on, but I am having a problem. After downloading Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta to my desktop and restarting my computer, I do not receive any prompts to create an account with a password and a secret phrase, as the instructions specify. How do I set up the account if the prompt never shows up?
Click on the Firefox button then select Options to open the Options dialog. Now go to the Sync panel for the option to setup a new account.

Computer is balky random freezes across apps. Two hard drive cleans later (their scan reveals no hard drive problems) photo shop won't work at all, magic touch mouse inoperable and their diagnoses is corrupted data? Anybody heard of this?
Well, yes, data does get corrupted sometimes.
The trick is finding what data.
By 'cleaned' are you therefor meaning that the drive has been erased and the system re-installed?
Because that's the quickest way to deal with such a situation.
Back up the system first of course,
Add back 3rd party apps one at a time in case one of them is causing the problem. -

Open Activity Monitor by searching it in spotlight.
Go to the app that you downloaded & quit it. If it won't quit then Force Quit. -

This was finally figured out by someone internal to my company, a Lync specialist. This is what the solution was (in I.T. speak - sorry, I'm not I.T.):
Resolution: Checked and found COE was configured to run on XP SP3 where the minimum requirement is SP3
He definitely was opening files and checking boxes way beyond my simple "uninstall" and "reinstall".

Hi Team, I am fairly new at this & I'm trying for the first time to download a movie, however its not allowing me to play as it says I need to download quicktime which I have tried to do, I have this application now but its still not allowing me to play movie, any help please for someone who hasnt got a clue

i photo will not update it says it was either bought under another apple ID or cancelled but this is not the case, what do i do?
Which iPhoto version and MacOS X version did you update from? Did you previously have iPhoto 9.5.1 and Mavericks installed or earlier versions?
Did you use a different Apple ID when you set up the Mac? If iPhoto came preinstalled, it will be bound to the apple ID you first used, when you set up your Mac. -

If you have an iPod Touch you can watch movies on it.
Did you sync the movie with iTunes between your computer and your iPod ?
Connect iPod touch to a USB 2.0 port on your Mac or PC using the included cable.

Your computer must be connected to the Internet.
By default, iTunes automatically syncs all songs and videos in your iTunes library to iPod touch. I have 46 movies downloaded from apple on my windows 7 PC I can only see 32 of them on my apple tv, I keep trying to share on my computer but they will not connect, any ideas? Sometimes I can connect though computer and get all my movies but usually I can not connect though the network.

trying to import photos and copy as DNG. Nothing will upload though. Permissions are all accurate, saving to the right profile, etc. Nothing has changed on my computer but it will not let me import new pictures. Also, updated the software and some images say "preview cannot be seen" and some don't. And when I try to import and I hit "new photos" it's all the photos on my card. My brain is about to explode.
It said something similar where the thumbnails were supposed to be.

The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

iTunes quit unexpectedly during the download of a movie. When I click on that movie now I get the following message: "You have already purchased this item but it has not been downloaded. To download it, select Check For Available Downloads from the Store menu."

Any advice?Yeah, I am going to blast my iPhone for the 4th time today and pray this goes away. I had 6 apps showing updates, the 6 badge icon shows on the App Store on my iPhone and, having run them all, the 6 apps have two copies each on my iPhone: one that is the old version of the app and will not run and the other is a faded version of the app with an empty progress bar on the icon. Click those and you get an error message about connecting to iTunes, etc. as described in the article I linked to above.
It gets stranger than this. If I install a completely NEW app, the 6 that are stuck mid-update heal themselves and appear with the new version only, however now completely different apps (Hold Em for instance - which I did not update and didn't need an update) will not launch "app name Cannot Launch" message comes up.
