PI Crash down after many errors ?!

Hi,
I have strange behaviour of our PI. When I have more than 1 000 errors message from the receiver, the serveur start to be slow and sometime it's crash down. I mean, it reach it CPIC limit.
I know that the parameter should be at 2000 maximum connection, but is it normal that my PI react like this ?
For example, I want to send to PI - 66 000 messages in one shot, do you think it is relevant ?

How are you handling when an error occurs...suppose if there is an error in msg1 and it blocks the Queue.....then all the following messages are also held up....these tend to utilize the resources (space)....and when more and more messages get stuck the % of available resources go on decreasing and then ultimately your server becomes slow....and when all the resource go off your server also goes down.....just make sure that you run some background job to process / delete the error messages...
Its rather a functional answer than being a technical one....check if it helps you.

First of all, thank you for your contribution. You are right to say that I have no need in changing the AI Config every time that the loop runs. But as this is supposed to be a soft-scope, I need to be able to update the parameters associated with AI Start while the loop is running (e.g. trigger level).
I have tried to move the AI Config subVI out of both loops but the error as a result is: "No transfer in progress for the specified source."
I also need a sampling rate of exactly 96kHz. I realize that the laptop clock cannot attain this value. Do you know how I could get exactly 96kHz.

CS3 shuts down after wierd error

I'm guessing this problem can be solved by uninstalling/installing my printer driver but thought I'd check here to see if anyone's seen an error this strange anyway.
If I try to open either a large number of photos or a few large ones, I can sometimes end up with CS3 closing and telling me that a faulting module, e_fuicaia.dll, caused the program to shut down.
Just what this has to do with anything, I don't know. It is a driver for an old epson 220 cd printer. Why loading photoshop causes the printer driver to crash it seems quite odd.
As I said, hopefully reinstalling the printer driver will have an effect, although the printer itself works just fine. hmmmm

Is the Epson 220 set as your default printer? I'd set another, even if its say the "Generic PS Printer," or the Acrobat Printer. You should be able to use the CD printer, by selecting it in the Print dialog box. If that doesn't work, then maybe an uninstall/re-install would work. Personally, I'd do a Registry cleaning, after uninstall, and prior to re-install.

CS6 crash down after 10min

Hi there,
I'm busy with a documentary (90min cinema/tv production) since one year. I started with CS06 on a Macbook pro (maverick, 15' 2,8GHZ). Everything was fine and I barely never had a problem - despite the fact that the computer was quiet slow. That's why I bought a new Macbook Retina (15'' 2,5GHZ 16GB). Since I didn't want to change the version of the programm during my editing I decided to download CS06 and finish it with that. For only one day it worked fine - then, without any changes of the settings, the programm shut down. Since that moment I'm not able to work with the project anymore. After I start it takes aprox. 10min until the programm shuts down. I really don't understand what's going on. It'ts a huge project with more then 2tb of footage (shot with a canon eos c300), but it worked out well with the old computer!
I hope anyone can help me - otherwise I have to buy avid since I can't afford this risk as a professional filmmaker...

That's probably some odd unloading error tied to an external system library or the program trying to close a registry key. Impossible to know without doing deeper probing with Process Explorer and similar geek tools...

Firefox keeps crashing and after sending error reort it briefly opens then crashes again. Any solution? Having to use Internet Explorer

Latest version of Firefox installed. When I try to open it it comes up with error table asking for areport to be sent to Firefox. This I have done over last 2 days but no response so far. When I try to restart it very briefly opens then clsose and error table comes up again. Cannot use so reverted to Internet Explorer

SetInterval breaks down after many hours

I'm using setInterval to reset a flash based museum kiosk. a
setinterval function is called whenever someone proceeds past the
main menu. Every time a button is clicked - the setinterval
function continues but the counter in the function is reset. After
three minutes of inactivity the swf will reset and go to the main
menu and the interval is cleared.
This seemed to work fine for a while . It has been one and
half months and they do not reboot the computer. the reset function
now resets after twenty seconds .

setInterval can stack on itself if you call it twice, it
doesn't replace itself if you create another, even with the same
name. So you can either use a different loop, like kglad suggests,
or you can go a little overkill and force yourself to clearInterval
everytime you call another. Also, use setTimeout when you can get
away with it (its undocumented in AS2, but works just like
setInterval, only it calls itself once instead of constantly).
I currently alternate between those on my long-running app,
and it seems to handle itself well. The only problem I run into
with a monthlong app is when the cache gets full, it refuses to
load in simple things from its own library. Frustrating :(

Project Files crashing AE CC with error message "33 :: 7" & "29 :: 12"

I updated my After Effects CC about 19 hours ago to version 12.2.1.
I'm trying to open a project file I had been working on last week and it's causing After Effects to crash.
A number of error messages pop up. Two of the last ones that appear before the program crashes read:
After Effects error: chunk in file too big - probably unsupported file version. ( 33 :: 7 )
and then
After Effects error: property of type "ADBEPosition_0"had dimension 8193 in file, but we expected 1 (1d17). ( 29 :: 12 )
Any idea on what those messages mean and what I can do to fix the problem.

Okay, now the autosaved version had problems of its own before AE and my computer both crashed. These were the error messages I received:
After Effects error: Crash in progress. Last logged message was: <976> <AsioWDM> <0> The wdm driver appears to have hung, we're going to terminate the callback thread!!
& then this popped up:
After Effects can't continue: sorry, After Effects has crashed. For After Effects Help and Support, go to http://www.adobe.com/go/learn_ae_support. If you still can't resolve the issue, please contact Adobe Technical Support (2).

Firefox crashed down many times (6-7) and doesn't open anymore giving me a warning sound each time i try to open it any suggestions?

I'm using firefox (now 27b2) having many tabs opened and i got used to the fact that many times crashes down ... each time i restore the session and it starts again ... but yesterday it "died" on me. Each time i'm trying to run it i get a warning sound and firefox refuses to open. As far as i remember i didn't install any soft lately ... but right before it's death, my pc was getting frozen and need it reboot ... that happened 3-4 times and then firefox "left" this cruel world. I run S&D, Malware bytes, Avast IS ... found nothing. Tried to open it in safe mode unsuccesfuly getting the same warning sound. I decided to uninstall it (Revo uninstaller) and used Ccleaner to wipe the leftovers then i tried to reinstall it but when running setup i get a message says "File corrupt" and everything ends here. I tried firefox 26 stab and it worked like a charm but the question remains the same why the beta version refuses to run and/or to be reinstalled ... If there is someone out there (I'm sure there are many...) with any suggestions or advices i would be very grateful ...Thank you all...

Anyone can prove JNI is safe? My application crashes after many calls.

I heard that JNI is not safe. In fact I made an application base on many JNI calls.
C level is API supplied by IBM. And I was told the C API is tested and safe.
Java application and JNI calls is writen by myself. It crashed after about 3000 times call. I tried other JDK and other OS. On some platform, the thread hold there after many calls. No error, no crash. But others crashed even early.

This is sometimes caused by a problem with the iTunesPrefs.xml file, normally found at C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunesPrefs.xml. Try dragging this to the desktop and trying again.
Alternatively the problem may be that you have McAfee AV and it is preventing iTunes from updating the same file and thus causing the problem. See Why does iTunes delete my itunesprefs.xml? for details.

Sorry for the late reply. My email firewall has become a little over zealous & sent a lot of my emails straight to my junk email folder, so I have only just now discovered your reply in my junk mail folder.
The only "don't open files exceeding xxx megabytes" instruction I can find in my Prefs, is in the Bridge Prefs for Thumbnails, & mine is set at 1000mb. The biggest files I handle are bigger than 200mb so I should be able to open a few, not just one.
However, this doesn't explain why I can open a psd format file of 180mb, close it, but then can't open a RAW format file of only 26mb immediately after.
I can open the RAW file only if I restart my computer - very annoying!
However, thanks for the advice about the video card & memory.
So, I'm still stuck as to what the issue is.

After Effects CC crashes on startup- No error message

Recently installed After Effects CC, It will show the splash screen as it loads and then displays the interface for about 2 seconds before crashing. Leaves no error message. I have uninstalled and used the CC Cleaner tool, then re-installed numerous times and still the issue. Also tried logging out and then back into Adobe CC, changing Adobe ID password, and deleting the After Effects Preferences and issue persists.
Using:
Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit
Intel Core i7-4930 3.4GHz
32 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 (Drivers Up to Date)

I had found both of those links and tried all of their suggestions prior to my original posting and none of those had helped. Thank you for the replies though. I DO however have it working now.
I uninstalled all my Adobe Software, then deleted all the Adobe folders in various parts of the C: drive that remained even though all the Adobe Software was uninstalled. This took some time but once I cleared the computer of any trace I could find of anything Adobe I then re-downloaded and installed Creative Cloud and now everything appears to be working properly. So I could never identify the root of the problem but an extensive clean out and retry seemed to do the trick.
