Pic links not working in FF but are In IE8 on HTML page

Hi, I have an Html page that has a bunch of small pic images on it. When you click on one it display a larger version in the center of the page. For some reason they all work fine in IE8 but not Firefox only the bottom row work. The rest act as they have no link mouse does not change to the pick hand symbol. Normally I never have a problem with FF more often its IE.

That is because the TABLE in DIV with class="Object336" is overlaying that part of the screen.
You set the height of that table to 405px.
Remove that height attribute and also remove the three <br> in the last Contact us SPAN

Urgent Help! Flash Links not working on PC but fine on Mac??

I need urgent help as my client is expecting a fully working site this week and i can't seem to understand what the problem is with the site i created www.tuarard.ie. The links such as the link 'download current programme' which is on the splash page works fine on mac but not on pc. there are other various links throughout the the site as well which don't work on pc.
Could someone please help me fix this problem. i am guessing the flash in fine but that the html is causing the problems. i am a beginner in the world of html so i know very little about it.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is hindsight, and likely more of an opinion-based answer, but except for the original dynamic "opening" of the flash homepage there wasn't anything I saw on the pages other than the scrolling photos at the top that required flash to accomplish. Flash is cool (I use it frequently for sections of a page - banner animations, etc.), but I've found it's often more trouble than it's worth unless every section of you site will feature something amazing or compelling to use it...
It's not search engine friendly (unless all of your text is linked externally, and even then limited), the correct player needs to be loaded on the viewer's machine to view, and it opens (generally) much slower than a standard html page...
Having said that - I think the site looks great - and fits the feel of the content, (and worked fine on the mac and windows browsers I tried here...)

Some browser links not working - any browser, but just on my mac

I have a strange issue. Over the last while certain page links on browser pages (which seem to be Java script links) won't work in any of my 5 browsers. If I put the same page in to any of my laptop's or my wife's browsers, the links work fine.
For example, I just tried to order some stuff via Staples, and whenever I tried to go to the next screen via a button, nothing happened. Even if I switched User Agents in Safari or Firefox, the "next" button didn't work. Same in Chrome, Camino, Flock and Opera on the same pages. I have noticed lots of drop down menus are not working properly either on many sites.
I figure some bit of OS code must be either blocking or misreading the instruction, but what?
Any ideas? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

errmm... i'm not sure why you are fiddling with java and system extensions...
java has nothing to do with javascript despite the name (you can blame sun for that) the javascript engine is an integral part of the browser not a separate extension.
Java on the other hand is an entirely separate entity and language that is independent of any one browser and is installed on the OS.
Javascript is commonly used in webpages (all most all these days) where as java is hardly used at all and is usually confined to little "applets" that run separately from the rest of the page.
If you suspect that it is something to do with your settings/preferences in your library then the easiest way to find out is by creating a new User account (go to system preferences> users> and add a user.) Then log into that account and try the browsers in there.
If you really think that it has something to do with system extensions then you can disable them by moving them out of the extensions directory (/System/Library/Extensions/) However i must stress that unless you know what you are doing and know what the extension does that you are moving to not do so... you can easily render your system unbootable if you move the wrong extension... unless you have installed a 3rd party system extension there shouldn't be anything in that directory that isn't meant to be there (this is a very different system from OS 9).
However there are internet plugins that may be interfering with your browsers, you can find these in /Library/Internet Plugins/ you can disable these by moving them also... the defaults are various flash, java, shockwave, quartz and quicktime files.

Fresh Install HCM 9.1 but Links not working. Help please

Dear All,
I'm trying to make a switch from SAP to PeopleSoft. I tought it easier to install PSFT since the number of source to install is much less than SAP. However, I kept getting same error where the links not working no matter which environment I tried to install.
I downloaded all software from eDelivery.
HCM 9.1, PTOOLS 8.52, Oracle 11g 64 bit, Oracle Client 32 bit.
First Try:
Install on windows 7 64bit. Everything works fine until first login to the PSFT and all links not working.
Suggestion from Hakan is to apply the patch and gave me a link to the old FTP site. I downloaded the 85209 patch but got password.
Finally I managed to get a customer ID from a friend and downloaded Patch 85211 and applied. But got java error so I scrapped it.
Anyway, Gasparotto said the environment is not certified and will not fix my problem with the patch.
Second Try:
Installed Virtual Box.
Installed Windows 2008 R2 and applied the SP1.
Installed everything all over again.
Ensured the PTWEBSERVER password similar the username.
Everything works fine but when login to PSFT, again..... links not working and see on the bottom left corner there are some javascript error where they cannot find certain peoplesoft objects..
Just upgraded to IE 9 because I read somewhere IE 8 is not certified.
Tried to login again, no error message and everything looks fine but... links not working.
Logs also looks normal to me.
Does anyone ever encountered similar issues before?
Does this is a normal behaviour before tools patch 85211 being applied ?

Does this is a normal behaviour before tools patch 85211 being applied ?Without patch, you have the error you mentioned. How many time I told that 8.52.03 min. is required, I did not go further, but there was some bugs before which make it not working.
I understand that's rather frustrating for people who wants to jump to Peoplesoft. I don't know SAP, but here you go, Peoplesoft is not a simple toy.
Unfortunately, if you have no access to My Oracle Support to get the Peoplesoft patches, you have no way but work on Peoplesoft OVM (free of use), and to use them on VirtualBox, the Jim's articles are worth to follow.

My last install guide is quite old now (PT8.50/Linux), even though it did not change very much within the last tools 8.52. But seeing the number of time such questions have asked over here (PT8.52 on Windows), I'm thinking to write one more, that time on Windows.

Is there an alternative way to download the sample applications?

Unfortunately the link https://smuenchadf.samplecode.oracle.com/samples does not work. It gives message URL is not valid.
Your samples are a very important source of reference for us. Hopefully all the samples can be migrated to the new site soon.
I am using JDev 11.1.1.2. I am using editable checkboxes is a table with RowSelection = Single. When I click on a selectBooleanCheckbox on a different row other than the current table row, the checkbox value changes at first but immediately reverts back to the previous state. It works fine so long as I remain on current row of the table. If I turn RowSelection off then I don't face this issue.
For information, I wanted to take a look at your sample 145. Using a CheckBox in an Editable Table with Boolean/Button Binding.

A few people had this problem, from the look of your page I suspect one of the following:
1) fonts, I'm not sure which font in your blogs. Try to use web safe fonts, otherwise iWeb will change text to graphic.
2) Pasting hyperlinks in your blogs. iWeb think it's a rich text (RTF) and change it to graphic.
anyhow, the image blocked the other links, you still can get to:

Deep linking not working in Flex 4

Deep linking is working in Flex 4 (using Flash Builder) when I debug and run the application, but not when I do an export release build.
So I tried using the files from the bin-debug directory, and noticed that deep linking only works when the files are in the bin-debug directory. If I move them from there, they don't work.
And to make things worse, my Flex 3 builder is not generating the HTML wrapper when using the Flex 4 SDK and deep linking. So I am screwed in every way. I really need help to get my app launched. It is finished, but stuck on my computer.
Is this a know problem? Thanks very much for any help.

If anyone run into this poblem, I just figured out half the problem. The javascript file (history.js in the history directory) only checks for url with (http://), so if you are testing and in your browser you have file://loc_of_html_file, then it will not work.
On the other hand, my next problem is still unresolved:
Flex Builder 3 is not generating the HTML wrapper when using deep linking AND with the Flex 4 SDK.

Motion tracking is not working for videos but works for images?

Motion tracking is not working for videos but works for images. When the videos is drop onto the tracking object the videos corner don't appear highlighted. I am working on windows 7 with version 13.1.

Flash Global Security & Links Not Working?

I am absolutely near some sort of breakdown with my Flash website....I really hope someone can help!
I am building my portfolio website; I'm using Dreamweaver CS3 (on Mac) and inserting Flash animations in the centre of a table in each Dreamweaver page. All was working fine until I built the Contact page animation on Flash last night. I linked in some external websites to my Blog, Flickr and Twitter and also need a button to launch the user's default mail client.
When I tested the animation (CMD+ENTR) in Flash the links appeared to be working, if after a few clicks. I then inserted the Contact animation into the Contact.html page on Dreamweaver and tested it in Safari. A dialogue box came up regarding something about security settings and Flash 8 (makes no sense as I am using Flash 9); and I ended up on the Global Security Setttings panel page on the Adobe website. I selected the entire folder the website is in on my hard drive under "Trust Files in these Locations". Now the ENTIRE website's flash animations are not working. There are links to internal pages of the site (i.e. a link to the "Contact" page in the animaiton on the Home page) which are now not working either. No error messages come up when I test the movie in CS3 either. I have refreshed Safari, restarted the Mac and redone the folder on the Global Security Settings panel. Also loaded the entire website onto a PC this morning, all links not working either.
Actionscript 3 on the Contact page looks like this:

I'm not actually sure what happened but my website suddenly started working again today, I think possibly by selecting "Always Allow" on the Global Security Page as well as inserting every individual file as well as the folder under "Trusted Locations" has also done the trick.
The external links appear to work when I test the movie in Flash CS3, but the same warning comes up once the movie is inserted into a Dreamweaver html page and tested in Safari. However I think when the links (all except the email ) appear to be working in Flash then it should be just fine once uploaded onto the server. Many thanks for your advice once again.

External links not work

I have a word document that has external links. Text that

When I convert my doc (word document) into a swf using flash
paper 2 the links not work. There are still highlighted but no

I am having the same problem. At first I thought it was
because I had converted an excel file but I tried the same
information from a word document and the links do not work in the
browser or if I view the SWF file separately. Additionally, when I

People picker is not working for ie11 but working fine for other lower version

i am using sharepoint 2010 and windows authentication
recently i have updated my ie to ie11 and problem goes here.
when i try to select from people picker, there are an unexpected error happened
however when i use other ie version, people picker work fine, what goes wrong?
i have already added my system as trusted site
if there any others thing i miss out?

According to your post, my understanding is that People picker is not working for ie11 but working fine for other lower version.
IE 11 is known to have compatibility issues on SharePoint 2010, please make sure to:
first of all, try installing latest update for IE 11 (several compatibility issues were fixed since the first release)
add the site to compatibility view (in IE> Tools> Compatibility view settings> type site name> add)
add the site to trusted sites and set the zone security level to low (in IE> Internet Options> Security> trusted sites> sites>add your site there> ok> custom level> select low> reset> ok)
You can use developer tools (f12) and set browser mode to the version that is most compatible with your environment.

Page is not working in serverside but working correctly in JDEV

After deploying the page which is working propely in my local machine JDEV,
its not working same at server side. i bounced apache couple of time.

Pages are working fine in my loacl machine, but whn i compile pages (javacode) at server and running the pages from apps instance, pages are not working correctly. But whn I transfer the class file from local machine to server side page is working perfectly, what would be the reason.How to check the Java/JDK version

Links not working correctly in PCUI for CRM

Hi All,
We are implementing mySAP CRM 4.0 through PCUI on Portal
EP6 SP14.
I have integrated the CRM Business Package 60.2 in Portal.
Proper User has been created in the backend and assigned Sales Manager Role both in the portal and in the CRM backend.
We are facing problem of links not working in the CRM Contents. When we click on the links in the CRM Portal Contents ( BSPs) we dont get the desired application opening.
When we click any links in the BSP's ( Activity Links in Opportunity Management BSP ) we get a blank page popped up.
I have the screen shots with me. Any one responding can get the screen shots from me.

Rohit,
Have you maintained configuration in (transaction CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C --> Navigation (URL Generation) --> Assign Object Method to Role)? Be sure that the role that you are using is present and ID Page/Service field correctly points to the pcd url for your portal.
When testing, it may be helpful to set parameter CRM_URL_BUFFER_OFF = X on the user profile (SU01) to turn off the url buffer. That way changes made above are immediate.

If this is still a problem for you, please describe the issue you're experiencing. Hi I am new to this forum and am asking for your help. We are sharing a computer, the PrtSc key is working for the Administrator but not when we switch users. We have tried everything that we can think of: From opening a the page(S) we want to paste to not opening the pages. My most common usage is to PrtSc and paste it into an email , but barring that we have tried opening a page in notes, documents, word etc . Nothing seems to work. I do not get an error message , it just won't paste. Since we are not computer literate we are hoping you can help us with a solution . Thanks in Advance .
