Pilotage moteur dynamixel via LabVIEW

Bonjour a tous ,
J'aurais aimé savoir si il existe des commandes a envoyer sur LabVIEW pour communiquer avec mon servomoteur
Dynamixel H54-100-S500-R ou si il existe des VIs existant ?

C'est de l'UART , la clé d'interface nommé "USB2DYNAMIXEL" utilise l'interface RS-485 pour communiquer avec le servomoteur .
Je pense que je dois utiliser les commandes de ce site la avec une interface VISA et le SDK de Robotis avec labview (sous VIs)

Mais je n'arrive pas a communiquer et regler correctement le port ....

Is some driver needed when I want to use Matrox card to aquire image via Labview？and I cannot afford the expense of buying a driver made by alliancevision。 If there must be some driver installed before I acquire image, can anyone email me one? Or just give me some advices. My email address is [email protected]
The attachment is my VI by which I attempt to acquire image, and I don't know what is the problems in it and whether it is because of the lack of the driver.

je dois effectuer l'acquisition d'image via une camera et gérer le traitement d'image via labview.
j'ai déja créé les VI pour acquerir et traiter les images,mais seulement je n'arrive pas à enregristrer l'image acquise dans un fichier , pour pouvoir y retourner le rechercher lors du traitement d'image .

Labview standard a des fonctions pour sauver des images en différents formats dans la palette ''Graphics and Sounds''/ ''Graphics Formats'' (désolé j'ai la version anglaise). Il y a des fonctions additionnelles dans l'outil en supplément ''Vision Development''.
Il y a aussi un forum francophone. C'est probablement un meilleur endroit pour poser une question en français.

Fin de course d'un moteur grâce à labview

Dans le cadre de mon projet j ai un moteur à piloter depuis labview.
Sur Labview j'ai deux boutons à disposition, un qui permet de faire tourner le moteur dans un sens et l'autre dans le sens inverse.
Jusque là ca va le moteur tourne dans le sens désiré.
Maintenant je désire fixer une limite du nombre de tour que le moteur peut effectuer.
Si grâce à un fin de course je connais la postion de départ de mon moteur (position zéro), je désire que le moteur ne fasse pas plus de 10 tours sur la droite par exemple.
Disons que mon moteur tourne à un tour par seconde, je pensais utiliser un timer que j'incrément ou décrémente en fonction du sens de mon moteur et une fois le timer arrivé à 10, le moteur s’arrête et je n’aurai que la possibilité de le faire revenir.
Voilà comment je voyais ça, mais le souci c’est que je ne sais pas comment implémenter ceci sur labview.
Donc un peu d’aide serait le bienvenu…

Acquisition température capteur ds18b20 sous arduino via LabView

Bonjour,
cela fait déjà quelques jours que je me casse la tête sans pour autant avoir de solution à mon problème. Je cherche à acquérir la température de plusieurs capteurs ds18b20 via LabView (graphes principalement). J'utilise le toolkit Arduino on LabView mais je n'arrive pas vraiment à bien l'utiliser. Le principe de ce module est bien de permettre de ne pas toucher à une seule ligne de code ? Est-ce que je peux lire toute une chaîne de capteur via LabView ?
Par ailleurs je suis en train de consulter un exemple de la fonction "thermistor Read" mais je m'aperçoit que l'entrée de cette fonction est analogique, alors que mes capteurs sont digitaux, y a t-il un équivalent de cette fonction qui me correspondrai ?
Même un petit morceau de code me serait profitable histoire de savoir par où commencer

Would you please help me to download the screen image of AG86100A DCA thru GPIB via Labview ? Thank you very much for your help.

If you are looking to grab the screen dump from the instrument (output to an HPGL device like the 7470A plotter) then you could use Printcapture, IntuiLink, Plottergeist or features of the GPIB toolkit.
These will capture a screenshot, not transfer the data that created the image. The alternative is to download the data using the drivers mentioned and then create your own chart/graph using LabVIEW. You could save the image to a file using the indicator's methods and properties from the block diagram.

Can I control Internet Explorer via LabVIEW?

I want programmatic access to web pages via LabVIEW. I have tried using "URL Get HTTP Document.vi" but am rejected at some sites. I have controlled IE via VisualBASIC before. Just wondered if it was possible via LabVIEW.

Well it depends on what exactly you want to do but with ActiveX you can control IE (or FireFox) from LabVIEW.

8510C doesn't send data to PC via LabVIEW: why?

I posted this morning regarding the driver for 8510c. even if you do not have the driver, I only need one tip/explanation.
I can control the instrument, sending it commands via Labview (sweep, number of adta point, axis format, etc), but the PC doesn't receive any data back.
If I use the NI measurement & automation tool, I can exchange data between 8510 and pc (query: OUTPDATA; I get several ASCII data back ). I can ask for ID as well (OUTPIDEN). If I use the same commands in labview, I cannot get any data read by Labview (i.e with GPIB read command, the output data variable is left blank).
I only need to be able to record to an excel sheet the S parameter traces, avoiding using the floppy to save data on it.
Even if any of you has a labview 7 version: could you tell me how OUTPDATA; (or OUTPRAW OUTPFORM) work?

I just posted a LabVIEW 6 version of the driver in response to your other question but if you can't get OUTPIDEN to work in LabVIEW, then you should check to make sure that you've got the correct address. Do you have the error connections wired up and do you get an error? How many bytes are you specifying for the GPIB Read? The driver uses VISA and you should use that but if for some reason, you want to use the low level GPIB commands, the code for getting the device id should look like the attachment below. After you get this to work, then move on to getting a measurement.

To Control a Power Supply via LabVIEW

I am really in the beginning of the learning LabvIEW. I am trying to control a power supply( Ametek XG
1500 ) via LabVIEW through USB cable. I have goggled several websites, but still do not have a clear idea
of how to implement such task. I downloaded COM drivers from www.programmablepower.com. Then, device and
my computer see the USB cable, but I do not have exact clue to make a good program to control power
supply.
I tried to make a program with NI-VISA with SCPI commands. Actually, I am not sure to write true
commands and I can not see the voltage or current value on the front panel. I have never write a program
to control any electronic device. Maybe, I can not see the basic step or not.
Firstly, I want to write a program which makes power on/off to the power supply. I do not know where
should I begin. Please any of you give me an offer to do this task.

There is of course, the IVI driver.
I don't understand at all why you would install a different com port driver than the one that comes from Ametek/Sorenesen. In any case, I did not use the IVI driver. I simply created my own using Tools>Instrumentation>Create Instrument Driver Project. Pretty simple for me - I did a basic driver in less than a day. I would suggest you look over the instrument driver tutorial (on main idnet page). The commands are well documented in the manual. Be sure to get the termination characters correct. I can't provide the code I wrote as it was for a customer but if you post what you have written with details on errors you get etc, I'll try to help.

i have an application in which i am calling a 3 rd party software ( which is a dos application) via labVIEW using system exec commnand . now in the dos application the user needs to press keyboard (ex:T for testing the dos application and Q for quitting the application). now the task is to automatically press T (via programme) and same for any alphabet required as soon as dos programme is called.. this application is used in production line so opreator intervention to keyboard must be avoided. Can u please help me solve this problem.

Comment commander un moteur CC avec Labview

Je suis étudiant en mécanique et dans le cadre d'un projet, je dois créer un programme labview qui:
- en entrée utilise les image provenant d'un caméra qui film une goutte sur un tapis
- traiter cette image avec Vision Assistant (étape déjà faite)
- générer une tension proportionnelle à la position du barycentre de la goutte (trouvé par le traitement précédent) par rapport au centre de l'image (avance ou retard).
Le problème réside dans la génération de cette tension.
Je voudrais faire varier la vitesse de rotation d'un moteur CC d'essuie-glace 12V ( Valéo, modèle voiture 406). Pour celà, je sais que je dois envoyer une tension générée depuis mon ordinateur jusqu'à une carte moteur (je pensais à une carte Sabertooth 2*12) mais je dois envoyer l'information par du RS 232. Est-il possible de générer ce type de tension à partir de Labview? Si oui, comment puis-je adapter une génération à la suite de mon programme en remplacement du signal simulé? (Dois-je utiliser VISA?)
Est-t-il également possible de choisir une carte du type NI USB-6008, de communiquer avec elle et de la connecter à mon moteur? Car je m'aperçois que la sortie analogique n'est que de 5V maxi, donc cela nécessiterai une amplification supplémentaire?
(Je joins au message la doc de la carte Saberttoth et le programme que j'ai commencé ainsi que l'image sur laquelle je travaille).

Si j'ai pu aider. Dans tous les cas, tu auras besoin de ta carte Sabertooth pour servir d'interface de puissance. Par contre, entre le RS232 et l'analogique pour la piloter c'est à toi de voir. Je pense que le 0-5 V fournit par une 6008 est plus imple à mettre en oeuvre, tu auras a mon vis la sortie 0-12V proportionnelle à l'entrée 0-5V. De toute façon, tu ne pourrais pas piloter le moteur en direct, il faut du matériel dédié (comme ta carte), car sinon, une 6008 ne founit pas de puissance, juste une tension.
L'utilisation en RS232 peut être un peu plus compliqué à mettre en oeuvre au début, masi je pense que tu auras plus de souplesse et de possibilité pour le pilotage du moteur.

How to Select Database Path via labview

First read and write program i did via UDL file path .Now i want Directly choose ".mdb" file path.
I dont know how to do ......

I think the way the database connectivity toolkit works, it is expecting the database to already exist. The function you are calling creates a table so it probably errors if the file doesn't exist. If you google 'create access database programmatically' you may be able to find something useful for creating a new access database file. Don't forget that you also have the native File I/O functions in LabVIEW for copying/moving files on disk.

Agilent 34970A External Reference Configuration via Labview 8.2

I am trying to scan up to 12 channels with the Agilent 34970A. My goal is to measure the temperature using channel 101 as the external reference using 4-wire RTD whereas all the other channels are supposed to use Thermocouple (k-Type). I know that the Agilent is able to do so, because you can configure it on the manual display. My problem is that every time I have configured Channel 101 ( CONF: TEMP FRTD,85, (@101)) and then the other Channels 102:1XX ( CONF: TEMP TC,K, (@102:1XX)) it seems that the configurations for Channel 101 are lost. I tried everything I could come up with to seperate the inputs, but nothing usable comes up. Any Advice?

There are two different drivers sets for the 34970, but they're not from Agilent. They're available from the NI Instrument Driver Network. Since you said you had it working under 7.1 you're probably using the older "hp34970" drivers. The error codes you indicated are -138, which is "Suffix not allowed", and -113, which is "Undefined header". Both of these basically mean a syntax error, which is likely incorrect code with the drivers. There are numerous configuration VIs. Which one are you using, and how are you calling it? Can you use the updated project-style drivers available from the link I posted?
I'm not quite sure I understand what you're saying with the COM ports. You said you get nothing when using COM1 or COM2. How many devices do you have connected to your COM ports? What communication parameters (baud rate) are you setting?
It would probably be worthwhile to see what happens if you try to talk to instrument via MAX to see if this is a communication problem or a LabVIEW problem. With the LabVIEW drivers you can see what command is being sent out to the instrument by simply putting a probe on the string that's being fed to the VISA Write. Then, you can enter the same command in MAX (as well as confirming the command from the user manual) to see what happens.
