I need new pin for unlimited music. Pls process the same

Hi,
I got a Lumia 720 two days ago. I did not get any voucher nor i was able to activate it using any 'pinless' feature. I also did not get any SMS as indicated in the following url:
https://account.music.ovi.com/in/en/pc/join/enterpin
In the above url it is indicated that i can request for new pin by clicking on 'request new pin' and by entering my IMEI number. But this link does not seems to work and it just takes me to the support home page. I even tried it using the Nokia Music app within my phone and also tried to visit http://music/ovi.com using my phone's browser.
What other alternatives do i have to get a pin or activate nokia unlimited music?

  • Random PIN Requests

    Hi,
    Over the last few weeks I have been receiving a lot of PIN requests from people that I do not know. After reading previous posts I have tried blocking the requests through the firewall but this just seems to block actual messages and not the requests as I am still receiving them.
    Is there another way that the adds can be stopped, its really annoying and even more so when I leave my phone for a while and then have to sit and block all the adds from adding me again.
    If someone knows how to stop this then please could you let me know.

    You're speaking of BBMessenger contact invites?
    When you deny those, you should have an option to "ignore future requests from this PIN", be sure to choose that.
    Did you buy a used device? Sounds like the previous user might have placed their PIN on some "Addme to your BBMessenger buddy" list somewhere.
    Put your PIN number in Google and see if you find that list and ask to be removed from the list.

  • Standby-mode by accident whit pin request to reenter.

    Hello community,
    I have a problem_ sometimes my bb sets into that 'kind' of standby mode, where nobody can reach me, because I got kicked out of the carriers circuit.
    As soon as I notice it, the device asks me to reenter the pin to get into the carrier.
    Sometimes there are a few days nothing happens and sometimes it happens twice or three times a day.
    ADVICE and HELP requested.

    Hi and Welcome to the Community!
    With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
    KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
    Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
    2) Resend Service Books
    KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
    3) Reboot
    With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
    See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
    Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try booting into Safe Mode:

    It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.
    If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
    But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.
    You may also want to talk to your carrier to see if they can look at their network for any issues.

  • Lumia 800 Telekom: SIM-PIN ist _not_ requested whe...

    Hi,
    I have a serious problem with my Lumia 800, Telekom/T-Mobile Germany Branding. When I turn the device on, there is no prompt to enter my SIM-PIN. The consequence: I am not able to connect to my mobile phone provider unless I pretend to do a real call, then the phone requests my pin. However I want to be available for calls right from the start!
    Has anyone experienced this problem, too? Any workarounds?

    Are you using a new micro SIM card, or a standard size SIM card that has been cut down to a micro SIM size by the operator/carrier?
    I just tried activating SIM PIN request on a Lumia 800, using a brand new micro SIM and this worked as is should when the phone was started.
    so if your SIM card used to be a standard size SIM, I would suggest you contact the operator/carrier and ask them to send you a new micro SIM. This could be the cause of the problem

  • My new iPad asks for the PIN of my MacBook to sync.  How do I find the PIN?

    how can I sync all my devices?  Older MacBook, iPhone5 (these two sych via wi-fi)   I want my new iPad to do the same but it asks for my MacBook PIN number.   No idea what that is.  I have it syncing with iTunes now but only pics/music.   I want some of my files on the iPad as well.   I'm a writer...want to use iPad then sync it to MacBook....thanks for any help.  (I'm not too tech savvy)

    I don't believe it's asking for your "MacBook PIN number."
    It would be very helpful if you would post exactly what you are doing when you get asked for information, and the exact wording of the "PIN" request.

  • Cannot add contact by using pin for bb messenger

    im having a hard time adding contacts using the pin. i tried to used it once, and it worked. but now i want to add contact by pin # again, i cant. des anybody know why ?

    There could be several reason... one of the most common is that the other user is on a corporate BES account and receipt or use of the BlackBerry Messenger is disabled.
    Otherwise, I would make sure the other users' PIN is correct. Make sure THEY also delete any pending requests, first.
    Then use the PIN request to the add the contact, it is the most reliable.
    Also--make certain the other user has a BlackBerry Data Plan on their BlackBerry... not a generic data plan.

  • Apple Pay at Walgreens required PIN entry

    Used Apple Pay for a $4 purchase on my Citibank debit card and had to enter my pin on the terminal in order to complete the transaction.
    Can anyone explain why ?  I thought one of the the main points was of NFC payments was to make PINs redundant.

    Well, just tried using Apple Pay at MacDonalds using the same Citibank debit card and it went straight through - no PIN required.  Exactly as I was expecting it to work.  I did chat with a Citibank rep this morning who told me that it's a security thing and the PIN request shouldn't happen again after the first transaction but I didn't get the feeling she really knew what she was talking about.  Guess I need to go back to Walgreens to try it again.
    And in response to earlier question, I was only charged once for the transaction at Walgreens that required a PIN entry - although I have seen many reports of folks being charged twice.

    The PIN ID pops up and prevents me from changing a password or accessing my accounts.

    Today i faced a significant performance problem related to shared pool. I made some observations, thought it would be a nice idea to share them with Oracle experts. Please feel free to add your observations/recommendations and correct me where i am wrong.
    Here are the excerpts from AWR report created for the problem timing. Database server is on 10.2.0.3 and running with 2*16 configuration. DB cache size is 4,000M and shared pool size is of 3008M.

    Thanks Charles. I really appreciate your efforts to diagnose the issue.
    I agree with you performance issue is caused by soft parsing, which can be solved by holding cursors (session_cached_cursors). It may be due to oversized shared pool, which is causing delay in searching child cursors.
    My second thought is, there is large number of reloads, which can be due to under-sized shared pool, if invalidation activities are not going (CBO statistics collection, DDL etc), cursors are being flushed frequently.
    CPU utilization is continuously high (above 90%). Pasting additional information from same AWR report.

  • NB100 3G Ericsson F3507g not working with Windows 7

    I've done everything and I can't make it work in Windows 7, although it works on Windows XP.
    I've already upgraded the modem firmware to the latest R1D06 (I had to downgrade to XP to do it, because in windows 7 the upgrade program notices "No module find".
    I've installed the latest win 7 32 drivers from toshiba, as well as the latest Wireless Manager (R2V2)
    What happens is the as follows. I start Wireless Manager, and it asks for the SIM PIN. After I insert the SIM PIN the icon "success" appears. After some seconds of that "Success" icon the "The mobile broadband device is not found" icon appears briefly, and then the "Initializing the mobile brodband device" animation shows up... After that the PIN request page comes again... if i insert the PIN, again I'll have the same story...
    Can anyone please help me, as this is driving me nuts?

    Thank you for your reply. I've tryed several SIM cards, and arrived to the conclusion that it doesn't work with portuguese operator TMN (all the SIM i've tried from TMN lead to the same result)!
    I guess that there is some misconfiguration on WM config files. I found one xml with default configuration for worldwide carriers, and maybe it is possible to change some of those parameters to make it work... I just don't know wich one!
    Maybe I'll have some luck, of someone reading this, and that is able to give me a tip to solve the problem.
    The SIM card just work well on a 3G usb stick, or even in a celular phone!

    Pin code and Passwords are two very different things.
    Pin code is a 4 digit security code in relation to the SIM card.
    Once you have put it in wrong 3 times, it will ask you for a PUK. this is obtained from your carrier by quoting your mobile phone number.
    To turn PIN request off, depending on what device you have, should be the instructions below
    Scroll to Options > Advanced Options > Sim card
    *press menu button* > select Disable security. You will need to enter the PIN to confirm it.

  • Nokia 6303 c troubleshooting

    Hello. I got this Nokia 6303 classic phone, for like 2 years and kept it up-to-date all the time. 5 or 6 months ago my telephone began to restart out of the blue. But it does not look like a common restart. The display suddenly blacks out and only if I press any key, the screen is first white and then my common desktop shows up (there is no PIN request), but no signal too, in the first place. In like 15 secs since the blackout  I have signal and I can use my phone. Can anybody tell me what is wrong with my Nokia?

    Have you checked for a software update recently?
    Have you much memory free
    Try empty out things you dont need such as messages and photos etc

  • Restarting issue after updating to v22

    I recently updated my N97 to the latest firmware v22. I have the problem now that when I switch the phone off and switch it on again, that the phone won't restart.
    I get the white screen with the blue nokia writing and around the time when the pin request is supposed to appear, the phone switches off.
    I have tried removing the battery & sim card & re-inserting & to no avail. After many many repeated attempts, i finally get the pin request screen.
    Has anyone else had similar issues?

    so then remove the battery for 5 mins then put it back try switch on it. if doesn't work remove memory card and SIM card. Try switch it on again. if not working take it to Nokia Care Center.

    First - I'm new to J2ME & I'm a novice to java in general. I'm an ASP programmer & I need to write an app for a nextel phone in J2ME.
    I have written a test application that just sends an http request to my asp page and the page should send back the appropriate response to be displayed on the phone, however the asp page does not seem to be receiving the data. However it IS sending back a response. I have tried removing flush() from the dataOutputStream, but that didn't fix the problem. Here is the code inside my MIDlet:
