PJC Debug - can't start applet

Hi
I have tried using the instructions here
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/htdocs/howto_debug_pjc.html
to use Jdeveloper to debug a pjc. I am using Jdev 10.1.3 and the instructions haven't been updated for forms 10.1.2. This is the html file I am running

I select the html file in jdev and click the debug button on the toolbar. The applet seems to start but everytime I see the following error:
FRM-92050: Failed to connect to the server http://127.0.0.1:8890/forms/frmservlet:-1
If I paste the URL into my browser the form starts no problem.
BTW does anyone know how to add a single file to a JDev project. I had to add the forms/java directory to my project to get the html file into my project - this has resulted in much file clutter in my project when all I wanted was one file!

Hi,
the serverURL shouldn't point to the Forms Servlet but the FormsListenerServlet. The Forms servlet only compses th starting HTML file, which you already have. Point it to the Forms Listener Servlet (check teh default value in formsweb.cfg) and it should gets you going

    I was recently asked to convert several APP-V 4.6 sequences to APP-V 5.0 SP2 sequences.  On a development workstation, I ran the Test-AppvLegacyPackage command against the APP-V 4.6 sequences to detect potential issues.  Next, I ran the
    ConvertFrom- AppvLegacyPackage command to create the APPV file for the APP-V 5 sequence. 
    I added the converted APP-V 5 sequence in Configuration Manager 2012 R2 as an APP-V deployment type.  For testing, I installed the Configuration Manager 2012 client on a test VM, installed Windows Management Framework 3.0 for PowerShell 3.0 support,
    and finally the APP-V 5.0 SP2 client.  I created a deployment to the test VM and after it installed, I got the following error on most of the sequences that I converted: "The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-debug-l1-1-1.dll is missing
    from your computer.  try reinstalling the program to fix this problem".
    I have very little application virtualization experience at this point so I do not know how to troubleshoot this issue.  Any help is appreciated.

    1. Which applications are receiving the error?
    2. How where they sequenced?
    3. Where is that file coming from?
    4. Why do these applications require the file?
    5. Why is that file now missing?
    After answering these questions, finding a way forward will most likely be easier

    Can Web Start invoke earlier installed versions of the
    JRE on a client machine, without invoking a download?

    I was attempting to confirm that a Jar file I
    was deploying, was 1.4 compatible.
    The test failed, because despite that the (1)
    user who attempted it had a working 1.4.2 install,
    the JNLP file (which declared version='1.4'),

    Since then, I did further testing locally -

    Using your tips, I was able to find the 1.5
    JRE's listed in the Java control panel
    (of an XP Pro box) and see they had no
    checkmark for 'enabled'.
    After enabling 1.5.0_08, I was successfully
    able to launch the application (OK - applet
    really) using the 1.5.0_08 JRE.

    As an aside, I had to specify '1.5.0_08'
    exactly to get that JRE. This is fine for
    local testing, but sometimes it is handy
    to ask others to help test via the web,
    and it would be nice if I could make it less
    specific (e.g. '1.5', to get any installed
    and enabled JRE that is a 1.5 variant)
    Do I understand wrong? Should that work,
    to specify '1.5' and get a '1.5.0_08' JRE that
    is installed and enabled?

  • Adding a goemetry object in an already started applet, behvior ?

    Hello there,
    I would like to add a geometric form (cube, box, cone etc..) in an already
    started applet. I think creating a specific behavior would be the most
    appropriate.
    Has anybody done this kind of thing before ?

  • Can't start Foundation Services on Windows XP, Essbase 11.1.2

    Installation and & configuration were fine and everything worked for a while. Machine was rebooted. After that, I tried : "EPM System Start" from start menu, but it fails starting foundation services. I tried starting only Foundation services ... It is the same. In the starter log I can see:

    I need to run Admin Services Console & essmsh. If I try to run Admin Service Console it has error: "Could not connect to admin server" and after thae "EAS server not available". How can I start Essbase? After reboot, I can see only Hyperion Integration service started - all others not (they are set to Automatic start). Also, I see ESSBASE.exe process and couple of opmn.exe ...
    Does anything else has to be started before starting EPM System start script? I really appreciate any help!

    Can't you install Essbase 11.1.1.x to not use Shared Services?
    From the 11.1.1.3 install guide:
    If you want to install Essbase in standalone mode (not using Shared Services), you can skip the installation for Shared Services. However, you must configure the Oracle's Hyperion Shared Services Registry database. To configure the Shared Services Registry database without installing Shared Services, see “Setting Up the Shared Services Registry Without Installing Shared Services” on page 112.And from page 112:
    If you want to install Essbase in standalone mode (not using Shared Services), you can skip the installation for Shared Services. However, you must still configure the Shared Services Registry database. To configure the Shared Services Registry database without installing Shared Services, you run EPM System Configurator from the command line using the –forceRegistry option. This option forces the “Shared Services and Registry Database Configuration” page to display during configuration so you can enter database details for the Shared Services Registry. EPM System Configurator populates the database with tables for the Shared Services Registry, but not for Shared Services.I'm pretty sure people are running Essbase on XP boxes. That includes EAS, and maybe APS for SmartView, and that's pretty much it.
    For sure XP isn't a supported environment.

  • Can't start device-manager.exe under Vista

    Can't start C:\Program Files\NetBeans 6.9\javafx\javafx-sdk\emulator\mobile\bin\device-manager.exe under Vista 32. It works fine under Windows XP

    Hello,
    You are hitting a known issue that has been fixed in OC4J 10.1.3.1.
    The work around is to remove the *.lock file in the $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/persistence directory.
    Let me know if that does not work after this.

  • Can't start manager server on other machine from admin console

    hi, m fredzh
    i have weblogic 10.3.2 where i created a cluster named cluster1 on production mode
    the machines and servers list as follow:

    --machine2
    -server2 192.168.1.101
    i create nodemanager on machine2, and set the type as ssl, the listener address 192.168.1.101,
    then login on 192.168.1.101, and run wlst.sh , nmEnroll and then start startNodemanaged.sh ..
    start server2 on the admin console(on 192.168.1.100), failed and the log as follow:

    i followed the steps as follow:
    1、change prod mode to dev
    2、modified the config.xml entrys on the all two servers:

    4、change the dev mode to prod mode on admin console, it failed throw error:
    "in production mode, it's not allowed to set a clear text value to the property: CredentialEncrypted of SecurityConfigurationMBean"
    i checked the config.xml ,the entrys i had changed were not aotomatically encrypted,may i manually encryp the clear text value? ..follow is the config.xml :

    I solved this issue:
    file nodemanager.domains didn't exist in $OWS_HOME/emnodemanager, but existed in $OWS_HOME/nodemanager. I did cp and oms start successfully. Who dropped this file I don't know :(

    First, the code you posted was mangled by the forum formatting software. When you post code, select it and click the CODE button above the typing area, which will prevent that, and maintain your formatting.
    When you ran the appletviewer program from the cmd window, error information was posted to it by the java command. Did you look at it? It says that you have a NullPointerException at this line
    add(b2);because there's a typo in this line
    b1 = new Button("Exit");which should have assigned a value to b2, not b1
    Read and understand the error messages that java creates, they almost always point exactly at the problem and allow you to debug the cause.

  • Can't start static form in IE5 or Netscape

    I posted this earlier with a misleading subject.
    I am running Forms Server using IIS4 on Windows NT; all the services start successfully. I had an initial problem with the class path resolved by copying classes.zip into the java virtual directory and referencing it in the ARCHIVE parameter in my static HTML.
    Now when I start my static HTML page in IE5, it brings up the Developer splash screen and does nothing else, no form displays. When I start the page in Netscape Navigator 7, I get a message saying the applet can't start: ERROR.
    What am I missing?

    I've cross-checked everything. Here's the HTML with JInitiator tags. I cut and pasted the serverargs right into a shortcut and was able to run the project application just fine, so the forms directory is correctly registered in the FORMS60_PATH registry entry. I'm still at a loss.

    Solution Description
    GL setup->financial->flexfileds->key -> segments 화면의
    Structures region에서 Title에 입력된 Data가 20 chars(한글은 10글자)를 넘으면
