Placing content at the bottom of each page

I have a dynamic form with several content areas that are hidden until certain options are checked. Upon opening the form it is 1 page long, but can easily spread out to 3 pages or more after fields are filled. I want to be able to have content placed at the bottom of each page such as a customers name. I have tried the pagination overflow trailer (Which I figured out has to be a subform that trails) But the problem I am having is that instead of placing it at the bottom of the page it places the field right underneath the last subform that fits on the page. Sometimes that subform will be a couple inches up the page because the next subform will be 4 inches tall. I just want the content to be on the very bottom of each page. How would I adjust this? You can place the Fields in the Master Page that you want to be displayed on each page.
You can adjust the Content area in the Master pages to be above the fields at the bottom of the page so that the data will always be displayed at the bottom.

try to do a reset of the sum at the page ( on the property sheet) of that column.
and you may need another column to show the grand total.
also guess you can make use of the formula column and reset it each time..

Open Contacts and click Preferences on the menu named Contacts. On the General tab of the Preferences window, select Show First Name: Before Last Name and then print. You can change that Preference back to the other way after printing if desired.

Placing session variable on bottom of each printed page

I have an application that contains a page in which we use as
a printed report. We plan to convert this someday to a crystal
report but for now are only option is to use the web browser as our
reporting page.
What I need is to know is if there is a way to code the page
so that the report id, which is stored as a session variable can be
printed out on either the top or bottom of each new page. The
report contains a lot of narrative, so it is impossible to tell
where the new page is going to begin and end because the length of
the narrative varies from 1 to 10 pages.
I don’t know if there is anyway to incorporate the page
setup from the browser settings, we are a state government, and we
are only using Internet Explorer 6.0 as our browser. The
application is using CF MX 7.

I think I misunderstood. You have one long report and when
printed will be multiple pages. You need the report name to be on
each page.
Three ways I can think of to do it.
First you can use the <title></title> to your
advantage. When printing from a browser the title is at the top of
each page. (though this can be turned off under browser options but
is on by default if I remember correctly).

Second, you can make the report name part of the URL so it
will appear at the bottom of each page.(this can be turned off too
in browsers)

Third, use an image as a watermark. You should probably make
the image 1/2 the height of the printed page. The background image
repeats. That way, you are sure it will appear somewhere on each
page printed. Width is another problem. But you may be able to
center the background image horizontally using css.

How to add a vertical barcode on the side of each page?

I'm trying to add vertical barcode on the side of each page in my crystal reports. "Format with multiple columns" wouldnt work, because I need the barcode to be from top to the bottom of the page.

Well, I'm not sure how this can be done considering the barcode needs to display irrespective of the way sections execute.
It's as if the barcode needs to be placed at the end of the page-width (in a section of its own) that runs vertically(down) to the end of the page.
Here's something that I tried though and almost succeeded!
1) Create a simple report against the extreme sample database
2) Three fields in the details section
3) Create a formula called group:
whileprintingrecords;
4) Create a group on this formula
5) Add the barcode field toward the end of the Group Header section and increase its height
6) Go to the Group Expert and select the group > Options >options tab > check 'Repeat Group header on each page'
7) Go to the Section Expert, select the Group Header section and check the 'Underlay Following Sections' option
8) Suppress the Group Footer
You'll still notice that the barcode doesn't actually run from the top to the bottom of the page; there's still some blank space at the top and bottom.
Another thing to try would be to suppress the Report Header and the footer, Page footer, Group Footer.
Push the barcode field to the Page Header, bring down the contents of the Page header to the Group Header (Make sure you've got 'Repeat Group Header on each page' turned ON) and have the 'Underlay Following Sections' checked ONLY for the Page Header.
This takes care of the barcode not running until the end of the page, although it still leaves some blank space at the top and the bottom.
This blank space can be reduced to a minimal by setting the top and the bottom margins to 0 from the Page Setup.
Again, the second approach looked better to me and the barcode runs from the top of the page all the way to the bottom on every page without affecting the detail section processing. But this is a very simple report that I created and you might have some work to do on your's!
Give it a shot and let me know how it goes.

Start with Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file delete the contents the following folder:
User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.
If that doesn't help continue with:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - Run Option #4, Rebuild Database.

Can I change the legend on the bottom of book pages?

I have used the "journal" theme for my book pages. After completing the book I realized that each page has a Latin content. I can change each page, but can not see a way to change all pages. I have tried to select all (command A), but that doesn't help. There HAS to be a way other than one page at a time.

This is a sample page that I'm trying to fix. I want to either eliminate the text shown in white, from all pages, or change it something useful. I can change a single page, but I have 50 pages and it seems somewhat laboriuos to them all that way. Can't someone help?

I know how to set home screen and lock screen, but was wondering if there is a way to change the background to each page on the iPad. I am a teacher and would like each page to have a background set to a specific picture or word so my students know which page they use on a particular day. Is this possible? Hi, I use Crustal 11.0.
I have a cross Tab. I display the items on the left column and the months horizontally, the items are grouped by category field. The values are the sum of quantities are displayed for each month. Like this:

The problem, I want to add a page header for each page of the report.
When Crystal reports first displays my cross-tab in the designer, CR displays the cross tab in the Report header section. I d like to add text or image for each page and not only at the begining of my Cross-Tab.
If I just add an image or text at the top of the report designer, which is my report header, I get the image or text only on the begining of the 1st page of my report but never in the other following pages.
If I try to work around the problem and move the cross Tab to a group section instead, and then put the Image in the group header, I get what I want, but the problem is that:
The columns header: Jan, February....December are displayed for each group of my report and not only in the beginning of the report. I get something like this:

you could do for example in the wdDoInit() of the view
wdContext.currentContextElement().setPicture("picture.gif");
Now you assign this context variable to the Tab using the Tab_header's imageSource-Property. When you click on its value column, you see a button with three dots on it. If you click on this button, you will get all context nodes and attributes for this View. Usable variables are clearly marked, you now choose the one named Picture or what ever name you prefer to use. But it must correspond to the one set in the wdDoInit.
I think setting a picture (not necessarily for the tab-page) is done in one of the excellent tutorials. If you are a newcomer I strongly recommend doing some of the tutorials. I have learned tremendously from them.

Printing text on the back of each page

I have a question about printing on the "back" of each page. I am trying to create documents (like Purchase Orders, Order Acknowlegments, Invoices) that have Legal Terms and Conditions that need to print on the back of each printed page(so it needs to be every other page). I can't figure out how to make that happen with reports. My report output is pdf.
I see that a Trailer page has a "Repeat On" property...but that is based on groups. I need it to be based on pages. Even so, they all print at the end.
I also see there is a between_pages report trigger...can I somehow use that?

How do i put three items into the footer of each page aligned differently

I am trying to have the footer of each page in my document with 3 items : -
1 logo aligned left
1 text (date and page number) aligned centre
1 logo aligned right.
If I add the logos as background they only seem to appear on the first page.

It may not be clear in the small screen shot, but I used Tabs for alignment. Here is a close-up of the Ruler:
You can get even more control if you place the text in a Text Box and place the text box into the Footer, between the graphics.

Drop-down list won't work at the bottom of a page

I'm having a problem in my forms with drop-down lists that are situated at the bottom of a page. When the list drops down, only the first few values can be chosen. Any that fall too far down the list, and thus hover over top of the next page, cannot be selected. In this situation, the scroll bar for the list actually scrolls the entire document. Very weird. Has anyone expreienced this before? Perhaps I'm making a simple mistake.

Does it help if you disable hardware acceleration ?
